Two days after their return, Ochako was still out of it. She hadn't gotten any worse but it didn't seem like her body was improving either. Tomura was starting to suffer from the detox of his own drug and his quirk hadn't returned either. They said his DNA and quirk looked a little damaged but it didn't bother him anyways. He didn't care.

He was worried bout Ochako's well being. He could only imagine what the drugs did to her.

He had been thinking about his own feelings for her too. No matter how much logic he could spin into it, he still felt the same. He still loved her just the same. Tomura's feelings never seemed to wane even when her friends came in. Ground Zero looked like he wanted to murder him every time he came in but he never spoke a word.

That was just fine too.

Tomura was just waiting. He was waiting on some word on Overhaul's whereabouts. He knew that asshole would have to come back to land to get more men. He had Himiko, Spinner and Saiko on it. Izuku never spoke another word about it. He never hinted he told anyone or even had more questions about it.

Tomura just needed the help to detain the fuck face. He actually didn't want Izuku to get his hands dirty. He didn't want that even though he was sure the One for All user felt the same hatred for the masking wearing freak. Himiko had been nice enough to get him a phone so they didn't have to worry about being captured in the hospital.

It was just a waiting game now.

And it tiresome.

At some point Shigaraki had fallen asleep, with his head on his arms by Ochako. She hadn't moved once while he stroked her hand with his thumb. He hadn't dreamed once since he made it back to their city and in the hospital. It had been so weird. The whole fucking thing was wild to begin with.

Ding!

Tomura jumped in his sleep, looking around wildly. He had hoped for a split second Ochako had woken up but she didn't. He sighed loudly and pulled the phone out of his pocket. There was a message from Himiko. He made sure not to save any numbers. That was one of the great things about him, he could remember numbers with no problem.

Found him. He's three miles from the docks in a white building. Three trucks outside.

Alright.

He began typing a message to Izuku who appeared within fifteen minutes of his message being sent. The hero didn't even look like his normal self. He was normally in green and cheery but this time he was dressed in all black. He gave Shigaraki a big smile but it made the villain feel weird. It was so weird to be around friendly people.

A warp gate appeared. Both men looked at Ochako before stepping through to the other side. They were in the city from the sounds heard around them but they were in a dark alley. Tomura sucked in a deep breath. The air around them was just cold and wet. It felt comforting and soothing in some way but in another, it was an ugly reminder that's where he belonged.

Away from Ochako.

"Where is he?" Izuku asked.

"Toga said we were a building away. There's three trucks out front and it's white."

"Ok. What did you want me to do?"

"Take him down. I'll do the rest."

The hero arched an eyebrow at him.

"Your quirk returned?"

"It does under extreme stress. I'm sure I will have no problem destroying him."

"If it doesn't, I can finish the job."

Shigaraki turned to look at the hero with wide eyes.

"I did my best to stay calm after you told me everything but I was really pissed off. I actually destroyed some gym equipment and had to replace it. They weren't mad... just scared. I'm good at pretending and there are some things I can forgive. This is not one of them."

"Hm."

They crept around the corner and no one was around. The building looked innocent enough until one of the thugs under Overhaul stepped out. It was hard to miss the mask he was wearing. Izuku moved in a flash. He was gone into the darkness and he ripped the masked asshole out of the streetlight. He was rather quick at it and it was slightly alarming.

A note to keep for the future. Do not piss him off.

Izuku motioned for him to go over. The two of them stood at the doorway, making sure their faces were hidden. Izuku jiggled the door knob but it was locked. He sighed and twisted it until it started to creak and groan under his strength. Finally after a few more seconds, it broke. Izuku pushed the door with his finger and they went inside. They both heard the shouting.

It sounded more like an argument.

"Hm, I wonder what that could all be about?" Izuku asked.

"I know what it is... more than likely he is afraid of Ochako."

The hero nodded silently.

The two of them made their way towards the back. Izuku jerked down his ski mask. They were standing outside of the door listening to the words being said. It was just as Tomura had thought.

"You created a fucking monster! You promised you had her under control!"

"I did- I don't know what happened," Overhaul said coolly, "But I would advise you to lower your voice. If you were so worried about it, you could've left with the others."

"You know damn well I needed money!" the guy shouted.

A few murmurs were heard but it was hard to tell what was said.

"I had her. I did. She never backed down and that was my miscalculation... She should've bent to my will. She was hell bent on escaping..."

"You said those drugs would've killed Shigaraki and now we have to worry about him and his goons!"

"I didn't have it perfect. We were close to a breakthrough. We needed time..."

Tomura swallowed hard.

So they were aiming to kill me eventually. I shouldn't be surprised. Looks like we broke out just in time.

"What happens now?" another male voice said.

"We get her back. I will continue what I started. I will have to get something else... a drug that will reduce her ability to think. She would just have to follow me thinking I have some antidote."

Both the hero and villain were grinding their teeth in anger.

"I want my Black Hole. She will be destroying cities and land in the matter of time thinking we would return her if she did what we wanted."

"What about Shigaraki and the League of Villains?"

"We wipe them out first."

Tomura growled lowly and grabbed the door handle. The door knob decayed in a flash and the door followed suit. The six men and Overhaul sat there staring at the extremely pissed off Tomura Shigaraki and a masked man. The looks of horror appeared on their faces once they realized their worst nightmare came true.

But the angry villain only had eyes for Overhaul.

"I don't give a fuck for the rest of you. If you want to fucking live, never come after Uravity or me... DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" his boomed in the small room.

The six men left Overhaul alone without a second thought with terrified looks on their faces. Tomura never allowed his red eyes to drop their gaze.

Overhaul was shaking from the fear that filled him. Once his glove disappeared, Izuku disappeared from sight. He broke Overhaul's left hand then his right arm. He shrieked in agony but Shigaraki never heard the noise. Izuku slammed him onto the ground, cracking his head on the cement. It was a little shocking to see how violent the young hero was but he was just as pissed.

"I was too concerned for her at that moment. I'm here to finished what I started."

Shigarai knelt down and grabbed his face. Overhaul shrieked and his body twisted in agony as his face decayed away. Tomura dug his fingers into his rotting, decaying flesh, trying to inflict as much pain as possible. Blood pooled all over the ground until Overhaul was a disgusting mess on the floor. There was no way he was coming back after that.

Shigaraki pulled out his phone and sent Kurogiri a message. A warp appeared and Dabi stepped out. His blue eyes looked Izuku over then flickered to his boss.

"Destroy the building. Only the building. Can you manage that?"

"Of course."

Tomura waved a hand for Izuku to go through first. The hero did as he was directed too and Shigaraki followed behind.

They were back in the League of Villains hideout which Izuku had become familiar with. Twice and Saiko were sitting there watching TV when they came through, standing there. Tomura started stripping down, throwing the clothes in a pile. Izuku did the same. He already had an idea what the villain was up too. Tomura stood there completely naked as the hero finished.

Even with a red face, Izuku waited, trying to casually cover his junk. Tomura bent over and decayed every trace of their hand in Overhaul's murder. Tomura go up and headed to the hallway. Izuku followed behind him quickly, not wanting to be naked in front of anyone else any longer than he had too. Tomura threw him some of his clothes, making they looked similar to what he was wearing earlier.

"Let's head back. Himiko has a clone there that looked like you. I gave her some of my blood to transform into me."

"You covered all the bases."

Shigaraki looked at him.

"I'm normally not this thought out but I want no trace of it coming back to you. I don't want her hurt anymore than she is."

The hero said nothing as they left Shigaraki's room. They waited for Dabi who confirmed the job was done. Kurogiri opened another warp to the hospital once Himiko gave the clear to come back. She grinned at them both as she skipped through with the clone of Izuku who was starting to fall apart. It was done.

Izuku looked down at his black socks since he had no shoes. He wanted to make one thing clear.

"Look."

Tomura looked up at him. He saw the serious look on the One for All user's face.

"I trust Ochako with my life. I trust her decisions. If she trusts you, I trust you. If you cause her harm in any way- I will be coming after you. She's my best friend. She saved my life a few times. I owe her everything and then some. I do trust you. Please... love her... give her everything."

"I..."

The villain looked back down at the sleeping hero he loved.

"I will have to hurt her. Because I can't stay."

"That's not the hurt I meant. When it comes time... and you plan on taking her with you, let me know... A warning."

"You want to go with us or something?"

"No. The final thing I can do for her is set her free from this."

Shigaraki gave him a hard stare.

"You would risk everything for her?"

"Yes. I'm not the only one."

Tomura gave a nod.

"I'll see you tomorrow."

Izuku left the hospital room. He walked down the hall. For a moment, he had clarity. That sometimes to ensure the safety of others and those he loved- he would be sleepless tonight knowing he helped kill a villain. He would've never done that in a million years but what Overhaul had done was unforgivable. He was the sacrifice he made to ensure Uravity could continue saving people. Helping the world.

If Izuku had too, he would trade himself too.

He got into his car and turned it on. The rain came out of no where and poured heavily onto the windshield. Izuku had no idea how long he sat there in the parking lot staring until he pulled out and headed home. He listened to the rain hit his car all the way there. He got out and headed upstairs with his body feeling heavier by the second.

Sacrifice...

He was no god. He had no right to place judgement on Overhaul but...

He had no right to stop death every time he saved someone.

The world was cruel and unfair. Godless even.

Izuku unlocked the door and headed inside to see Shouto sitting there in the recliner, passed out. He smiled and hung up his keys. He locked the three locks on the door and kicked off his shoes. He stood there staring at his friend who was slept peacefully not knowing the horrible thing he had just done. He was no angel.

As soon as the first tear ran down his freckled cheek, Shouto woke up. He rubbed his eyes. He stared at his crying friend for a moment before standing up.

"Izuku?"

He tackled Shouto, almost knocking him over. He let the flood gates open and balled like a baby in Shouto's broad shoulder. Shouto asked no questions as he simply held his friend- his crush for a while.
