It was a beautiful morning in the city of Bugdom. The sun rose and was shining brightly. The ants remaining: King Flik, Queen Atta, Princess Dot and Princess Flika went to the homes of the circus bugs.
"Will Ramona and Gina play with me?" Flika asked cheerfully.
"Yes, young lady, it is just that their parents have a high school reunion, so we will babysit your cousins while you're playing with them," Flik replied.
Flika cheered,
"Yay!"
"I've got Aphie with me," Dot added.
"But, little sis, be sure to keep an eye on him, including Ramona's pet Hazel and Gina's pet Kevin as well," Atta said.
Dot nodded.
Flik added as well,
"Okay, Atta and Dot, you go for Ramona's house to let Manny and Gypsy know we are babysitting their kid; Me and Flika will go for Gina's house to let Rosie and Dim know as well. Got it?"
Atta and Dot nodded, and went for Ramona's house to talk with her, Manny and Gypsy. Flik smiled at Flika as they stood at the door of Rosie and Dim's house. Flika stared at her father, and smiled back.
Meanwhile...
Rosie and Dim were asleep on their bed, peacefully together. Rosie was moaning in her sleep, rubbing Dim's foot. As well, Dim was snoring in his sleep, smoothing Rosie's abdomen.
All of a sudden, a door was knocked. Rosie stirred in her sleep, moaning in annoyance. Dim yawned, opened his eyelids to Rosie, who was still asleep, and said sleepily,
"Rosie, honey, can you get the door? I think our boss is out here."
Then, Dim closed his eyes, and snored on. Rosie blinked sleepily and moaned as she sat up. Yawning, Rosie stretched her arms and legs, and rubbed her eyes. Then, putting his foot from her abdomen and onto the pillow, she smiled, scuttled out of the bed, and went to open the door.
"Hello?" Rosie said, while her eyes are droopy, as if she was willing to go back to sleep.
"Oh, good morning, Rosie!" Flik said as he shook hands with her.
"Good morning, Flik. Here for babysitting Gina and our niece Ramona as well?" Rosie said with a smile as she yawned tiredly.
"Morning, auntie Rosie!" Flika cheered.
"Ah! Hello there, little princess niece!" Rosie replied in awe, and she embraced her little niece.
"Good morning, mommy!" Gina said excitedly as she showed up getting herself cleaned and leaving her bedroom.
"Good morning, honey!" Rosie added kindly, and hugged her daughter in compassion.
"Hi, my lil' niece!" Flik said happily as he hugged her tight.
"Hello, uncle Flik!" Gina giggled and saw Flika, who said,
"Hi, Gina!"
"Hi, Flika!" Gina said, and embraced Flika, who did the same to her.
"Auntie Rosie, Where's uncle Dim?" Flika asked.
"He's asleep," Rosie said,
"Gina, stay here. I will wake your father up."
"All right, mommy!" Gina said with a smile.
As Rosie made it back to the bedroom where Dim is sleeping, she scuttled to him. Smiling, Rosie pets him on the horn, whispering,
"Dim, it's time to wake up!"
In answer, Dim lets out an annoyed snore. Rosie felt concerned, and shook him a bit,
"Come on, dear! Your niece is here!" she urged a little.
Having an idea, Rosie took her whip, and aims for his foot.
"This won't hurt a lot, Dim," she whispered.
Taking a deep breath, Rosie lashed her whip onto his cheek, and Dim yelped in panic.
"Rosie, what time is it?!" he panicked, and whimpered,
"What happened to my cheek?"
"Oh, I'm sorry, Dim," Rosie said sympathetically,
"It's just that our boss isn't here; it's our niece Flika is here!"
Dim lets out big lion-voiced yawn, and sat up, rubbing his eyes. All of a sudden, when he had that thought in his mind, his eyes popped open, and Dim said,
"Really? Cool!"
As Rosie and Dim made their way to Gina, Flika and Flik, the note was handed over by Flik, who said,
"It's your high school reunion."
"What's that?" Rosie asked.
"I'm not sure! Never heard of it," Dim said as he blushed a little.
"Hi, Gina!" Atta said as she came with Dot, Ramona, Manny and Gypsy.
"hello, auntie Atta!" Gina saod cheerfully.
The other circus bugs remaining: Molt, Slim, Francis Heimlich, Tuck and Roll came out of their homes for the high school reunion as well.
"Okay, Ramona, you be good to your aunts and uncle, and also keep an eye on Gina with Flika," Gypsy said.
"Alright, mommy and daddy, I will!" Ramona replied in agreement.
"Oh, that's my girl!" Manny said as he embraced her, as if to know she was the most focused kid.
Giggling, Ramona went to Flika, her parents, aunt and pet. Gina was nervous, like the time she felt on her days at school. Rosie reassured her daughter and said,
"Don't worry, Gina," we will be back tonight. And when bad things happen, Flik and the others will know."
Dim nuzzled Gina lovingly and said in agreement,
"Your mother's right, sweetheart, we'll be back from our high school reunion.
Gina smiled and embraced her parents. Then, she went to her cousins. Flik, Atta, Dot and their nieces bid goodbye to the circus bugs, hopping that they will be back soon.
Later...
Making their way to the clubhouse for the high school reunion, the circus bugs went into the party. Suddenly, it gave them confusion that the other insects were frightened, looking at Dim.
"Oh, why is the big, ferocious bully here?!" a female mosquito said with a whimper.
"I dunno, he is very scary!" a male cockroach replied frighteningly.
"Relax, dears, he won't hurt you both," Manny said to the insects in comfort.
Gypsy nodded in agreement as she held his hand. The others nodded, but the insecys were still shuddering, taking about Dim, as if to plan to pick on him.
"Hey, shy beetle, you aren't invited to our high school reunion!" one of the bully insects insisted.
"Yeah, what a crybaby beetle!" the other snickered.
"Guys, knock it off! You've got some nerve for doing this," Francis said sternly.
"You better no keep that attitude up," Slim added in agreement.
"Ja! That's not nice!" Heimlich agreed.
But when the insects' murmuring continued, Dim whimpered, as if to think that he is uncomfortable of being here. Bursting into tears, he ran away from the party, but wasn't crying. Rosie stared in shock, and called,
"Dim, wait up!"
She was following Dim. The other circus bugs frowned a little at the insects.
"Well? Looks like we've changed our mind going into this high school reunion," Molt added sternly.
"Disappointments," Gypsy said as she frowned a little.
"Group of uninviting ingrates!" Manny said with small anger.
The other circus bugs nodded, and followed Rosie, who was following Dim. Tuck and Roll went to the bully insects with frowning faces. They slapped them, and caught up with the circus bugs.
As Rosie spots Dim behind the giant tire of the Pizza Planet truck, she said,
"It's okay, Dim! You'll be fine!"
Dim shook his head as he whimpered.
The other circus bugs came, and felt concerned.
"Easy, honey. We will not hurt you," Rosie soothed in comfort.
Surely, Dim shyly went farther away from the Pizza Planet truck, and he went close to her, giving a nudge. Rosie pets him on the horn, and said,
"Dim, it will be fine. None of this is your fault for coming to the high school reunion. We'll take care of it soon, okay?"
Dim nodded his head slowly, and Rosie smiled as she gave him a kiss on the horn. Blushing, Dim kissed her on the cheek as he said,
"Thank you."
Meanwhile later...
As Flik, Atta, Dot, the girls and the pets are waiting for the circus bugs to come, they heard buzzing wings. They came just in time. Ramona smiled and embraced her parents. Manny and Gypsy embraced their daughter back. Gina giggles, and hugs her parents. Rosie was embracing her, and she kissed her daughter on the forehead. Dim was nuzzling Gina adorably in a hug.
"Hi, how was the high school reunion?" Dot asked.
"Not good at all, kid," Francis said.
"They were all scared of Dim," Slim agreed.
"Indeed, they aren't that nice to Dim, that's the reason," Heimlich added.
Molt, Tuck and Roll nodded in agreement.
Much, much later...
The ants and the circus bugs bid goodbye to each other, and the ants made their way to Ant Island. Then, the circus bugs went to their rooms for bedtime.
Manny and Gypsy tucked Ramona and Hazel to bed, giving a kiss on the forehead. Then, the couple went to their bed. Manny was asleep as he was giving Gypsy a huggle. Gypsy was also asleep as she nuzzled Manny's face and neck in a romantic embrace.
Finally, Dim and Rosie bid Gina and Kevin goodnight, and they headed for the bed. Dim was asleep and snoring, smoothing Rosie's abdomen. Rosie was also asleep and moaning tiredly as she rubbed Dim's foot.
