Chapter 1: Introductions Inbound
Every region has its heroes and villains. A light and a dark. A good and a evil. Ever since team plasma disbanded in the Unova region, there was peace restored. So much peace, it didn't even feel suspicious. No one figured there was a alliance rising behind the scenes. A man with a black shirt, black pants, black boots and a black hood entered the cold storage with a little stealth. He moved a giant storage crate with relative ease and revealed a staircase. He walked down it, slowing his pace, and hiding his tracks. He walking down a long hallway until he walked into a open room with multiple entry points and labels.
He went down the first hallway, which was labeled "Laboratory." There were lots of test tubes filled with various chemicals, as well as lots of scientists quickly rushing experiments. Possibly to get some experiment done? But the main attraction of the room was a large machine with two slots for poke balls. Two tubes extend out of the slots and connect to one large tank. One slot had a pokeball present, while the other didn't. There was another man, Staring at the machine. He heard the footsteps of someone slowly approching him.
"Ah. Silas. It's a pleasure seeing you again. Did you return with the Pokemon to help aid the mission?"
Silas lowered his hood. It reveled his pale skin with various wrinkles. He only had one eye. The other was replaced with a robotic eye with various features. "Yes sir. I promised I wouldn't let you down again." He took out a pokeball that looked different. The top half was still red, but the bottom half was a deep black. It had a small image of a black hole on it.
The man snatched the pokeball and placed it in the machine. "With your cooperation, we can finally rule over not only all of Unova, but everything in existence!"
Silas removed his hoodie revealing the back of his shirt. It had a huge red "V" on the back of it. "Just remember to hold up to your end of the deal. I was promised a hefty bit of the "Reward" once this mission is complete, Zek."
Zek smirked at his comment. "Oh don't worry. You will be rewarded. Once we absorb the energy from these two legends." He eyed the pokeball on the left. It had a tiny image of a stopwatch on it. "Dialga. Ruler of time." He then turned to the newly placed poke ball. "And Palkia. Ruler of space. With there powers drained with this machine. Time travel can finally be possible!"
Silas turned to leave the room, but before he left, he gave a quick glance at Zek. "How soon until we have the necessary energy."
Zek's smirk vanished from his face. "It'll take the machine 3 days to drain the energy from these legendaries. That's when we can wipe the slate clean..." His smirk reappeared on his face, as he's thinking of the future possibilities.
A lone Oshawott was walking through a forest nearby route 2. He was told to get some berries from his friends, so how could he let his friends down? After all, he's been trying to improve himself daily. It was either training or trying to hone his socializing skills. After taking a right turn, he saw a pile of oran and razz berries. "Alright! Score!" He quickly ran to the pile of berries and was going to grab them... Until a group of 2 Watchog and a Stoutland appear in front of him.
Oshawott looked up and immediately felt the fear inside of him rise. "Oh... Uh. Were these for you?" He half laughed scratching the back of his head.
The Stoutland started to growl. "Nobody touches our berries if they don't know what's good for them. Get him!" The two Watchog used super fang towards the Oshawott. He manages to barely dodge the attack as he runs away.
"Oh snap. I'm so dead! HELP!" He screamed while running away.
"Get back here you little bugger!"One of the Watchog said.
Oshawott kept running until he came across a dead end of the path. There was a massive ravine in front of him. Jumping down would cause much injury. But getting attacked wouldn't be much better.
The two Watchog had Oshawott cornered. It was near the end of the road for him. His opponents were readying there attacks.
"Super fang!" They leaped towards the terrified otter.
"Leaf blade!" A massive leaf construct smacked the two Watchog to the point of them being unconscious. "You just love getting into danger don't you?"
Oshawott looked up and saw one of his friends. Snivy. "Thanks Snivy." Oshawott said looking exhausted. "Those Watchog were ferocious."
Snivy just sighed and looked towards the floor. "Did you try to take food from a group of wild Pokemon?"
Oshawott nodded with hints of sadness. "Yeah. But could you blame me? I didn't even see any wild Pokemon near that pile of berries."
"But you could of just grabbed a bunch from a bush of berries. Not from a pile of rouge berries."
Oshawott laughed nervously. "Eh. Sorry about that. Sometimes I don't think straight."
"Well, it's fine. Apology accepted." Snivy said with a small grin. Oshawott didn't know what it was, but he always had a admiration for Snivy. In his group, he's always been a bit of a flirt. Always trying to hit on any attractive female Pokemon. But a few weeks ago, he's sorta stopped doing that. His attention focused completely on Snivy. And he doesn't even know why or how this happened. It just sort of did. But he doesn't question it. He is now in acceptance and is willing to impress her.
Snivy spotted a berry bush nearby. "Let's go pick those berries and bring them back to our base." Oshawott nodded in agreeance and they got to picking.
With them holding a good amount of berries, they head back to their base. It's nothing too impressive really. It was a small wooden lodge with the natural trees being used as most of the walls. There was a blanket of moss as a roof for the building and loose branches and sticks to fill in the walls. The floor was a bunch of leaves which sounds uncomfortable but you get used to it. There was a Tepig outside of it starting a bonfire a good distance away.
He noticed his two friends approach him. "Hey guys!" He gave a short wave. "Did you guys find any razz berries?"
Snivy nodded. "Yep. We sure did. And you were right Tepig, Oshawott got himself in some trouble."
Oshawott held his scalchop high. "I think I had that situation under control." He said with a bit of might.
Snivy lightly patted him on the back. "Nothing to be ashamed of. All Pokemon need help every now and then." Oshawott wasn't sure of those words. He always needed help and it slightly embarrassed him. He needs to get over his fear of getting harmed so he can improve his various skills.
The otter and snake set down the piles of berries, with Snivy dividing them up. "Alright guys I want the pecha berries if you two don't mind."
Tepig eyed the razz berries. "Nah you can have them. I'll take these razz berries."
"And i'll take these oran berries." Oshawott said. "I don't mind the mild bitter taste."
"Well it's settled. Lets dig in." Snivy said starting to eat a pecha berry. She loved sweet food. And pecha berries were no exception.
These three Unova Pokemon were all a team. They were all wild, and they were all pretty good friends with each other. And they all had a few similarities, yet a lot of differences. Snivy was known to be a battler. She also liked relaxing under the sun and taking naps. A good balance of being active and lazy. Tepig has always enjoyed sparring with the others. He never took kindly to others 'bullying' his friends. A wrong choice of words will get you hurt by the fiery pig. And then there's Oshawott. He has been known to mess up, more times than he likes to admit, but his friends never fault him for that. He strives to get better, not only at a battling but at being a better Pokemon. He was also a bit of a flirt. He's flirted with a lot of girls in the past. But he's been rejected by all of them. He's cut back on the flirting though when he took notice of Snivy. Sometimes he can't even start a conversation with her, as he stutters a lot and gets light headed around her. But at least he gets motivated to train. For her. But he doesn't know when he will confess his feelings to her. He always wanted to, but he doesn't know when or how.
But this is their life. Living in a forest, surviving and training to be stronger. They have been used to it, given the fact that they have never been caught and have learned survival skills from their parents.
It seemed like a endless cycle. Wake up, Maybe train, maybe hunt for berries. Go to sleep. Repeat. Every once in a while, they go into the city to do window shopping and whatnot. But it was the wild Pokemon life.
The three of them had no idea that any of this would change. They were in for quite the adventure.
