{Yami. I spent the whole weekend searching on a seizure inducing website. Watching one tournament video after another. I've tried to see if Gohan has a tail, but all that's got me is weird looks from my friends (who though I was staring at his butt). You've tried, but that just made him suspicious of us. Tomorrow is Friday and he won't be here. I'm NOT waiting for Monday to ask him questions. I'm sorry Yami, but I'm asking after school.}

Few Days Ago:
Yugi headed towards the exit on the other side of the school. He felt bad, but Anzu was persistent on helping. He tried telling her no, but she wouldn't listen, so avoiding his friends seem like the only solution for the time being. He was about to leave but someone called out to him; turning around he saw Hanasaki, one of Yugi's other friends.
In the past, both Yugi and Hanasaki were targets of bullies. After a shadow game with Sozoji they became friends (Sozoji force Hanasaki and Yugi to sell tickets to his "concert". Yugi offer to sell his tickets, but Sozoji found out and beat Hanasaki up). Hanasaki found out about Yugi's tail during the time Yami save him from some vandals who were paid by his father to commit "crimes" so he could come in and "save the day" while wearing his Zombire costume. To say Yami was mad, was an understatement, he was piss about the stupidity of Hanasaki's father that his tail unravel; tho, it kind of work in Yami favor. Yugi was so overwhelm with Hanasaki's hero worship and questions ("Thank you for saving me. Yugi you have a TAIL! That's so cool, your like a superhero! Maybe not as cool as Zombire, but still. What can you do with it? Can you grab stuff with it? Does it give you any powers?) that he forgot to question Hanasaki on how he "saved" him. Tho he doesn't hang out with Yugi's main group of friends, Yugi still makes time to hang out with him; like going to the arcade or joining his after school fantasy group.
"YUGI! I got something AMAZING to tell you! So we got a new member, Haru, in my fantasy group. He said his father has seen several World Martial Arts Tournaments (WMAT), and some of those matches included fighters who could do those weird energy blast. The group is actually split in two on how real those attacks are. Some people think it's fake, but makes for great entertainment, while others believe its real. I personally think those blast are real, I mean how can you fake that. I know now you can do amazing stuff with video editing, but the film they used in the pas-"
"Umm, Hanasaki, what was the "amazing" news you wanted to tell me?" Yugi felt bad for interrupting him, but Hanasaki had a habit of rambling off if no one stop him.1
"Oh, right. Sorry Yugi. Like I was saying, Haru's father has been to several WMATs and he swears there was a fighter who had a monkey tail, just like your's Yugi!"
"Are you serious!?" A new lead, this is just what Yugi needed! "Does his dad know his name or where he lives?"
"He didn't mention where he lived, but his name was Sun Wukong, I think? You can check out the official WMAT website to get the correct information. It's pretty cool site, but any information after the 24th tournament is hard to find."
"You don't know how much this means to me! I know this sounds weird, but can you keep this to yourself, it's something I want to look on my own for now."
"No problem Yugi, good luck on your search."

Later that Night:
After dinner he rushed to his room to start on his search for the WMAT website. He would have immediately search the website after school, but he had to help with the game shop. Thoughts on who this mysterious tail fighter filled Yugi's mind; distracting him from cleaning the shop or helping customers out that Yami would switch with him from time to time (he would have switch with him for the whole day, but he didn't want his grandpa to become suspicious).
{Yami, have you seen my headphones? I can't find them anywhere!}
[Yugi. I am also quite curious about this fighter with a tail, but, Aibou, maybe you should take a deep breath to calm your mind. Heheh, they're right in front of you.]
{Oh} he laugh nervously, {right}.
Yugi place his headphones on and click on the WMAT website . . .
"HELLO FANS!"
Yugi fell off his chair with a loud thump, his ears still ringing from the website's greeting. He could barely hear his mother's footsteps approaching his bedroom.
"Yugi! Are you ok?" He heard her though the door.
"Ya . . . um, I just tripped over my backpack again. No worries."
"How many times do I have to tell you to pick up after yourself. Please be more careful," after the reprimand, his mother left.
{That was close Yami.} Yugi looked up to see Yami studying the website. {So anything interesting?}
[I don't mean to be critical of Hanasaki's . . . taste, but I don't see how this website is "cool". If the volume doesn't destroy your ears, then, the bright and flashy light could definitely cause one of those "seizure" you told me about]. A few weeks ago, Yugi was watching one of his favorite animes. He told Yami that one of his favorite episodes was pull off air due to flashing lights causing seizures to some viewers. Yami didn't know what seizures were, so Yugi happily explain what it was.
Yugi got off the ground and place his chair upright, he reconnect his headphones (and made sure the volume was low) and got a good look at the website. What he saw surprise him, and he too question Hanasaki's definition of "cool".
The background of the website kept flashing from red, yellow, and orange colors with a patter of 's face smiling and hands in the peace sign. In the middle, a large white rectangle that reach from the top to the bottom of the page. The WMAT logo (which was the only thing that looked professional) was at the top of the website, within the white rectangle. Below the logo the navigation along with a slider that show different images every 5 seconds (images mostly made up of over a defeated opponent). Next was a big announcement for the 28th WMAT2 and reminding it's visitors to sign up. If the mouse went over the announcement, it also would play a different audio clip.
"THINK YOU CAN TAKE THE CHAMP?"
"SIGN UP. OR ARE YOU CHICKEN?"
"I'LL GO EASY ON YOU. MAYBE"
At the very bottom were ads for merchandise, while there were items that had the WMAT logo, most items seen below were of or with the WMAT logo.
With the shock finally over, Yugi began his search for the monkey tail fighter. He found the link to pervious WMAT tournaments. Everything was the same as the homepage, except within the white rectangle the only thing that remanded was the WMAT logo; below that were various videos (5 x 5), whose thumbnails seem to be screen shots of the fights. Before Yugi could get a closer look, an video pop up and took half the screen. It showed Mr. Satan in his iconic burgundy gi with white pants, along with his white cap:
"HELLO TO ALL MY FANS! YA!"
"On this page you will see various tournaments with yours truly. Now remember if you want
to become a champ like me, come to the official Mr. Satan Gym at Satan City!
Now before you enjoy my pervious tournaments, let me remind people while we have video of
fighters using "energy blast", those are just tricksters; who know nothing about the true meaning
of martial arts. It may look cool, but they are just a bunch of liars; and children its not
cool to lied. I defeated Cell and saved the world, so I should know."
"HAHAHAHAH ENJOY!"

[I though Pegasus was flamboyant, but Mr. Satan is making him look modest! Dear Ra what are we getting into?]
Yugi didn't reply, but quite honestly agreed with Yami's assessment. It was also odd to Yugi, that Mr. Satan would call out those fighters who used "energy blast" as tricksters every chance he got. He never though too much about it the rumors calling him fake, just grateful that saved everyone; but he started to question if he really did what he claimed. Yugi shook his head, he didn't have time think about the legitimacy of 's win over Cell, he had a tailed fighter to find.
Hovering the cursor over the thumbnails gave him the information of which WMAT was taking place. Since they didn't know which tournaments "Sun Wukong" participated in, they started with the 25th WMAT (the same year of the Cell games). While Yugi wasn't into violence or fighting, he was oddly excited about the matches he seen. He figure the enjoy came from the fact that these people were fighting for fun and not to be cruel. However, after the 24th WMAT, the thumbnails were just WMAT logo with a different number for each one. Not only that, but there was no information stating what tournament was taken place. Yugi didn't think too much of it until. . .
"CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 19TH WMAT WINNER . . . KING CHAPPA!"3
{Wait!? Did he say 19th, but we haven't even gone through all of the 23rd tournament fighters . . . unless . . . are these video OUT OF ORDER?!}
[I guess this is what Hanasaki was taking about] Yugi hit his head on the keyboard [at least its the weekend. We can take turns watching videos if that helps Aibou].

Monday Night:
Even though he spent all his free time watching videos, he didn't find any fighter with a tail or the name Son Wukong. School that day was a struggle, Yugi had fallen asleep half the time and would have gotten detention if his friends didn't wait him up. His friends throughout the day ask if he was alright and if he needed them they were there. Yugi was very grateful and told them he'll tell them what he been up to soon. After that, he ran home to continue his search.
It was close to midnight, but Yugi wanted to squeeze a few more video in, however, he kept dozing off. Yami stayed in his spirit form watching the videos with him (He would have switch with Yugi, but his body needed rest. He feared taking over the body would cause both of them to fall asleep). Yami didn't think they would get there answer today until . . .
"OUR APOLOGIES FOR THE DELAY! C-CONTESTANT GOKU WAS
UNAVOIDABLY. . . UM.."
"Boy, that nap felt good"
. . . . .
"GACK! What is THIS?"
"GAH HAH HAH! That's what I call Lassoo-in' Gum!

"HASTA LA PEEWEE!"
"My TAIL! MY TAIL GREW BACK!"4
"YUGI! Wake up, that boy he has a tail!"
Yugi's eyes immediately open, he study the computer screen before him, and lo and behold the young fighter had a tail, a tail that look exactly like his! Apparently his name was Son Goku (no wonder nothing show up when googling the other name) and the other fighter was a small anthropomorphic dinosaur with wings, named Giran. The name "Son" sounded very familiar for some reason.
"Anzu new friend, Gohan has the same last name as the fighter. They even look similar to each other, they could be related, maybe Gohan is his son? . . . We could ask him." Yami didn't sound too happy about talking with Gohan. Yugi didn't remember much of Anzu introduction of Gohan, only that someone called him a nerd (probably Jounouchi) and the uneasiness he felt from Yami being around him.
"What's wrong Yami. . . did you sense shadow magic on Gohan?"
"No, not shadow magic. In fact his soul seems innocent like yours, but that doesn't mean he not dangerous. I don't know how to describe it Aibou, but his soul seems . . . powerful. Maybe we should observe him from afar before we ask him anything"
"Well, it would be odd of us to ask him if he has a tail after meeting him for only a day. . . Ok, but if we can't get any answers your way, I'll ask him. He may have a "powerful" soul Yami, but it seems wrong to judge him without knowing him first."
Yami agreed and went back into his soul room, while Yugi flop on his bed. The excitement of finally finding the tail fighter left him and all he felt was exhaustion. He really needed his sleep, especially if he wanted to be awake for whatever he and Yami planned.

Notes:
Not to sure about Hanasaki's personality, so I just added that.
I actually had a lot of fun coming up with a website that would visual show Mr. Satan's ego. I also felt that if the WMAT had a website, Mr. Satan would have taken over it.
King Chappa is an actually winner of one of the WMAT, tho I'm not sure which one. In the manga it doesn't state it (not sure about the anime)
