Octonauts and the Puffins

When the Octonauts split up to do different work in the Atlantic Coast any number of things could happen. Kwazii and Peso crash, while Barnacles is anxiously waiting for their return. They end up in Iceland with a few peculiar birds. Rated T for mild injury and fear. Also because I don't want to get kicked off. Cross posted on AO3

CHAPTERS 5 on

Creature Repro-What?!

Dashi turned on the marching band music before she ran over to her camera to start the video.

Barnacles got everyone into position before reciting the usual words, "Calling all Octonauts!"

Like they always did they ran or jumped into their spots before shouting their names, "Kwazii! Peso! Shellington! Inkling! Tweak! …

Like usual they looked around for the representative of the vegimals.

He shouted his name, "Tunip!
Barnacles said what was on his memorized script, "Ahem… Kwazii? Activate creature report!

They together did the chorus, "Creature report, creature report!"

Then Grouber, Tunip, and Tominnow ran up and said the last part of the refrain before clapping, "Creature report!"

"Facts!" The Captain shouted over the background music while pointing to the screen which now held a picture of Perry.

Barnacles enjoyed this part most of all, he gets to sing what the animal's mannerisms are, "Puffins lay their eggs on land."

Tweak then Dashi then Peso all say, "Check!" one after another.

Barnacles continued his part with, "They use burrows in the sand."

Kwazii then Shellington then lastly, Tunip like the last group all said, "Check!"

Barnacles was able to start the next set of facts with, "They can fly for quite a while!"

You could hear the chorus lightly being sung after the first and second bit.

"Even way more than a mile. Their feathers are, white like tile!" The Captain was excited this was getting close to the finishing part!

They all shouted the cue for Tominnow, Tunip, and Grouber to start frolicking around the room, "Dance Break!"

They all turned to the screen as a picture of the bird they were talking about appeared and was shown flying through the sky.

They all shouted, "Go Puffins! Go Puffins! Go Puffins!"

Then they all said the chorus one more time before letting Barnacles say the end of the outro. "Creature report! Creature report!"

And the trio of Vegimals did their part, "Creature report!"

Barnacles was able to do his finishing words, "We're done with our missiooon, Octonauts at ease, until the next advent-what was that?!

Everyone stared at Barnacles why would he stop mid-word in the outro?

They saw him looking around cautiously and finally Kwazii asked him, "What in the name of the seven seas is ye doing?"

He replied with, "I heard something it sounded kind of like a crack. I think we have company. I wonder where it is it could be dangerous."

Suddenly, Peso heard it too he looked up and saw an egg in his hat it was starting to hatch he said, "I think I found the source of the noise."

Kwazii recognized the egg he was worried and said, "Uh oh I know what egg that is and if I'm right they are looking for it and won't be too pleased when they see who has it."
