Sorry for not putting this up sooner things have been crazy. I already had wrote up chapters 1-4 and #5 was really short. I had to write up this chapter before posting.

I hereby give you the final chapter of this story.

Kwazii recognized the egg he was worried and said, "Uh oh I know what egg that is and if I'm right they are looking for it and won't be too pleased when they see who has it."

Peso realized who he was talking about and said, "Flappity flippers! It's really one of their eggs?"

Barnacles took a wild guess since he was tired of not knowing and asked, "Is that one of the Puffin's eggs?

Kwazii nodded and everyone but Kwazii, Peso, and the captain gasped. Well, the Vegimals fainted… again. Kwazii gave Peso a strange look. Peso had grabbed the egg from Kwazii and put it on his feet…penguin style.

Kwazii asked Peso, "What in the name of the seven seas is ye doing?"
Peso realized what he was doing, and responded, "Penguin instincts I guess?"
Barnacles was the next to speak, "Well I was going to ask either Shellington or Peso to take care of it since they probably know the most about eggs and their needs."
"What if the egg hatches before we get to Iceland? We don't want the Puffling to get used to other species other than its own. It might imprint on us if it sees us and that would mean it would not know that Perry is its mother, it might think Peso and all of us are its parents," Shellington pointed out.
Everyone waited for a moment trying to find an answer, suddenly Tweak took a bite of her carrot and said, "I have an idea that will be done faster than you can say buncha, munchy, crunchy, carrots! Dashi, Peso, come with me to Dashi's room. Kwazii stop following me, we will only be a little bit."
Kwazii was surprised, he started following them after they had gone a few feet.
"Blimey! How did ye know?" Kwazii asked Tweak.
Tweak answered his question with, "Kwazii I know you; you are curious what we are doing so you try to follow us to find out. Plus, even though you are very good at being quiet when following people. (animals?) You must've forgotten, I have exceptionally good hearing. I very faintly heard the sound of paws sneaking and a tail thumping on the ground and recognized them as yours."
"Should have known ye would hear me following you." Kwazii muttered with a sigh as he went back to join Barnacles and the others.

In Dashi's room:
Tweak sat Peso on Dashi's bed by her dresser/vanity thing facing away from the mirror so he couldn't see what he looked like.
"Dashi I need powder, your colorful eyeshadow palette, and eyeliner." Tweak said to Dashi.
Dashi nodded and went to go get the requested items she understood what she was going to do. Peso too realized and tried to object but, it was no use. Dashi had come back, and Tweak had already started.

Tweak started talking to them as she worked, "You know I took art classes before I became an Octonaut I thought they would help drawing blueprints. Don't worry Peso I won't mess up well, I won't if you stop squirming."
Tweak had finished, and Peso was able to see himself in Dashi's mirror.
He was amazed and said, "Flappity flippers! I look exactly like Perry and you never even saw her! Oh yeah! I remember, Barnacles took a photo with his Octo-compass right after Perry gave us that fish stuff that we are supposed to eat for dinner. I think it's called Hàkarl. The picture is very wobbly and blurry though"
Tweak, Dashi, and Peso returned to HQ to meet a very surprised crew.
"Shiver me whiskers! Perry is that you? How did you get here you can only fly like 30 miles tops?" Kwazii cried sounding astounded, surprised, shocked, and confused.
"Not Perry Kwazii, Peso." Peso corrected his friend.
"Tweak did ye make Peso look like Perry from that badly taken photo? Ye did the best job in the seven seas!" Kwazii said after he recovered from the shock of seeing Peso looking so much like their puffin friend.
"What about us? We really don't want the egg to get used to anything other than puffins," Shellington pointed out.
"I have a plan but first I have a few questions for you guys, Tunip where do the Vegimals keep the party supplies? Kwazii where, in the launch bay do you store the paint for the Gup-B?" Tweak replied.
"Chupa poda," Tunip answered.
"Oh in the game pod closet," Shellington translated.
"I keep the Gup-B's paint in that closet in the launch bay on the bottom shelf, why?" Kwazii answered her question.
Dashi, can you get the party stuff and meet me in the Launch Bay? I will get the paint.
"Once again Kwazii you'll see in a min this time you can follow me I do need someone to help." Tweak answered the cats question before it escaped his mouth.
In The Launch Bay:
Tweak was getting the paint out with Kwazii's help. Those cans were heavy! She started to work. When she was done, she tried to get Kwazii to put his on.
"Not if ye marooned me for 100 moons!" Kwazii protested.
"Kwaz I only made these because you need a disguise. Now, no objecting! I did the best I could with what we had also, I only had a little amount of time because we don't the chick to be around anything other than puffins. You should see Inkling's and the Vegimal's costumes. They are even more ridiculous. Now you will put this on, and you will come down with me!" Tweak was not in the mood for fooling around.
Kwazii grudgingly gave up trying to refuse, "Fine Tweak, I will wear it since nobody can laugh since they will all look as silly as me."
They both went down the Octochute after Kwazii put his disguise on. It was a little hard to carry all of the stuff since it was in a big crate and two metal cans.

In HQ:
"Kwazii what are you wearing? It looks ridiculous!" Those were sound that could be heard in between the sound of laughter echoing throughout HQ. the disguise consisted of:
A black trash bag with a big, white, painted circle in the middle. It was acting as the "body".
2 Paper plates painted black connected by a strip of cardboard as the "wings".
One pair of the old scuba flippers that were in storage acting like the fins. They were blue so Tweak had to paint them orange.
Face paints to make their faces look like puffins.
Lastly, one orange party hat pretending to be the "beak" (I'm not sure if it's called a beak or a bill)

"My puffin costume, and you're all in luck because she made one for each of us. They are specially made to suit us perfectly." Kwazii said in a sort-of-fake-cheerful voice.
The Octonauts all realized the purpose of the costumes and groaned as Tweak passed them out. She made a puffin costume for each Octonaut except Inkling and the Vegimals. She made the Vegimals egg costumes since they were the right size.
"Is my costume in one of those cans?" Inkling asked since the cans were still not opened.
"Er, um, yeah please close your eyes it is a, um surprise." Tweak said nervously she did not like what she would have to do next.
SPLOOSH! The paint dripped down inkling in a wave of brown with splatters of white.
"I knew you would not in a million years make a convincing puffin so, you are an egg in a nest. Ta, da?" Tweak explained with a sigh.
"I see, clever!" Inkling was surprised because he had no idea how tweak was going to make him a puffin. All he had to do was curl his tentacles together and boom he is a nest.
Kwazii could see a flaw in her plan so he pointed out, "Excuse me mateys but puffins raise chicks in burrows not nests Perry showed me her burrow."
Toma, chupaato. Twe cocoume makeay. Tunip said dismissing Kwazii's comment.
Shellington translated what he said, "Tunip said, tomato, tomato. At least Tweak was able to make him a costume."
Kwazii was overridden everyone agreed with Tunip. They went back to what they were doing and went back to work
Time skip to dinner:
They were eating the fish Perry gave them. Well, only Kwazii and Barnacles were, the rest decided to have kelp stew. They had tried the fish but, then decided it was not their favorite. Everyone was there except Peso which was strange since he wasn't on a mission. There was also some strange things happening which they were discussing.
"Tunip told me that the pebbles all went missing from the garden pod." Shellington said.
"Remember that box of flat, glass marble things? I found a use for them. I was going to decorate picture frames. Then when I got to the closet, they were all gone!" Dashi added.
Barnacles had an idea who was the culprit was, so he said, "Let's finish dinner then I'll go show you who I think the culprit is. Don't laugh he probably have had no idea he did it."
They finished eating then went to… Peso's room? When they went in, they were all very confused and amused. Why? Because, Peso made a penguin nest from the pebbles and marble things.
"Peso matey why did you gather so many little pebbles and marble thingies?" Kwazii asked Peso.
Peso felt like he was in a trance. One moment he was in his room the next he was back in Antarctica making a nest. Suddenly, he was snapped out of it by a voice that sounded like…Kwazii? Why was he in Antarctica? Wait he was back in his room again what was going on?
He heard Kwazii repeat his question and Peso answered, "Um to make a nest for the egg?"
They all understood and went back to do some final tasks for in the morning they should be back in Iceland.
In the Morning:
Whoop, Whoop, Whoop, Whoop! Octonauts to Peso's room wear your disguises! Once again, the sirens blared waking everyone up. Only, this time it wasn't the Captain to sound the alert it was someone else. It sounded like, Peso?!
"I've said this before, but I'll say it again; it's the 'best' waking up to sirens blaring at you especially when the thing making the noise is so close to your bed" Kwazii grumbled as he left for Peso's room. It was easy because he was already in his costume since (when he went to bed he was still extremely tired from the trip to Florida, and didn't feel like taking it off)

In Peso's Room:
Barnacles wanted an explanation since everything looked fine, "Why did you call all of us here at… (looks at Octocompass) precisely 4:12 in the morning?"
Peso still seemed frantic and anxiously asked, "Um are we in Iceland yet?"
"We'll be there in about one to two hours, why?" Tweak answered.
Peso seemed a little relieved but still panicky and added, "Because the egg just hatched!"
"What?! We have to keep the chick in your care for at least an hour longer! I'm going to use the steering wheel so we can have the ship go faster. Dashi I'll need you. Tweak, Kwazii, Shellington? It would be best for you to be on standby ok? For now, stay here with Peso so you can help him. Inkling and the Vegimals should go to HQ with Dashi and I because their disguises aren't very well, convincing." Barnacles said trying to help everyone calm down before running off with Dashi, Inkling, and the Vegimals.
Kwazii remembered one instance when he went really fast all too well so, he yelled one piece of advice, "Just don't go so fast you make a slipstream by a pod of dolphins!"
Barnacles remembered too and assured Kwazii, "Ha ha I remember Kwazii, don't worry I won't bring a baby dolphin here."
The others laughed they also remembered that day.

At and on the way to Iceland:

They kept the chick safe for the amount of time needed to get to the island. It was very simple because the chick was mostly sleeping, and they kept away when it was awake so it wouldn't imprint on them. Finally, they got to Iceland only to be greeted by a furious Perry.
"Oh you! Why did you take my chick?! I hope you have an explanation for doing that!" Perry was enraged.
"Actually we do matey, you see when ye showed me your burrow before we left one Peso laid down thinking about what the chicks must see. When he did that one egg must have slipped into his hat. His hat kept it warm on the journey back. Then when we got back, we discovered it doing one of our Octonaut things by then it was beginning to hatch. We decided well really, Peso decided to have him take care of it while we worked on getting back here. His "penguin instincts" began kicking in and that was a little funny, seeing what he was doing. Oh, Tweak made us puffin disguises so it would only have been around "puffins" if it hatched before we got here. That's why we are wearing these things. It did an hour-ish before we came. Don't worry we didn't let it see any of us so it wouldn't imprint on us." Kwazii explained without his "special touch".
Perry was relieved and asked for her chick. Peso had it in a little shoebox with feathers in it for comfort. Perry was so happy that she could see her child. Peso was sad to let the little Puffling go but, he knew he had to.
The Octonauts stayed a few more days so Shellington could do some research on Icelandic creatures. When he was done, they knew they would have to go. Perry ended up naming her chick Penny. (the closet female name to Peso's I could think of) They said goodbye to the Puffins who told them they could come anytime they were in the area.

They went back to the Octopod when Barnacles announced, "Octonauts I say we have a vacation we haven't had one since like when we had the Octopod sent in for repairs."
The crew agreed and they went back to Florida for a good time with Tweak's dad.

You have no idea how long it took the figure out how to make the a with an accent. I am thinking about making another story. Did you like this one? Please let me know! Sorry that was the last chapter.
