I was inspired by this because of the first theory that Anacondra1 thought of

This is a Skylanders crossover with HTTYD (Trent) and Portal (GLADOS and Chell)

Make sure to go see Flygon's Fate decides

Also check out Shadowriser 609 (I don't know what his current story is if any)

I only own the children, excluding Gale. Most of my idea are different versions of how the story could end/ merge together or be different. I will take no credit for this. If the original creators of these characters want me to take it down I will. Please be aware I may not finish this story.

Just so you know the characters that I am using that are spyro cynder or any other characters and OC's that I don't own are made by Flygon (Gale) and Shadowriser609 (Trent and Crystal)

Also, the green chain that was put on spyro and cynder linking the two dragons had not disappeared after Dawn of the dragon. For a mysterious reason it spread to the other characters causing them to be stuck together like this

Spyro and cynder (20 years old) (same age)

Trent and crystal (20 years old) (same age)

GLADOS and Chell (15 years old) (same age)

Gale and Amy (both 6 months old and cannot fly) (same age)

Icarus and Milos (6 months old and cannot fly) (same age)

Samos and Naxos (6 months old and cannot fly) (Same age)

Delos and Icaria (6 months old and cannot fly) (same age)

Tinos and symi (6 months old and cannot fly) (same age)

They are tethered together with the dragons on the left being Trent and crystals (they adopted gale) and the right being spyro and cynders (They adopted Amy)

They are called a hatchling until two years old

Takes place after season 3

Spyro and Cynder from the Skylanders academy series have Skylander at the end of their name

Chapter 3: strange surprise

It was the same night and Cynder had decided that she would go see her farther and ask him a few questions, as she flew she made sure she wasn't followed, she felt the slight breeze against her scales. When she arrived, she called out "Mum, Dad where are you" Malefor and his Wife Star came out and Malefor said "what can I do for you Cynder? I don't see you often anymore"

Cynder Skylander said "I want to know something"

Malefor asked "What is it you wish to know?"

Cynder Skylander said "Is it true that you almost destroyed the world?"

Malefor asked "What makes you think that?"

Cynder Skylander said "A group of dragons that apparently thought they killed you?"

Malefor said "Well I'm alive so it must be false"

Cynder Skylander said "One had midnight Black scales, and another had Scales the same colour as Spyros, there names are Cynder and Spyro"

Malefor said "how are they alive?"

Cynder Skylander asked "What do you mean?"

Malefor said "they were alive 10,000 years ago"

Cynder was beginning to grow suspicious and said "they have this snake chane around there necks and they are coming here tomorrow because if it was true you could remove it"

Malefor said "you have got to be kidding me, ill have to fight them again"

Star said, "What do you mean Malefor?"

Cynder said "Well then you better get ready, I've told them not to hurt you"

Malefor said "I be waiting"

That Morning

Spyro was the first to awake worried because they were about to meet Malefor again. They had thought he was dead, Cynder was the next to awake, Cynder said "Can't believe he somehow survived"

Spyro said "Yea I thought he was dead, at least this place isn't at war with him"

Cynder said "yea I don't want to face him again, I've seen him enough for a lifetime"

Spyro said "Well at least I'm not the only one feeling that way"

The others began to stir and slowly got up popping their joints as they stood, Trent said "oh yea I forgot"

Crystal said, "Forgot what?"

Trent said "I thought I was dreaming that I was here that's all"

Crystal said "Sorry to disappoint but it is real"

Trent said "sadly"

Spyro Skylander came in and said, "If you want you guys can come for breakfast at the academy?"

Cynder said "That would be nice, we haven't eaten in 10,000 years after all, even if it did feel instant" The group walked out towards the cafeteria where they saw stealth elf and Eruptor eating, Spyro Skylander ordered an pile of pancakes while Cynder and the others tried to order a deer but the person at the counter said "Sorry we don't do dear here"

Trent said "Don't worry"

Spyro Skylander saw this and said, "What's wrong?"

Trent said "Well its juts different, that's all"

Stealth elf said, "Well it has been 10,000 years" Spyro said "Yea, I guess that's a good point" He turned to Spyro Skylander and asked, "Are there any wild deer's around here?"

Cynder Skylander heard him say this and said "Sorry to say but there is only pancakes around here, for breakfast"

Spyro was confused and asked, "What are pancakes?"

Cynder Skylander said "Wow you really must be clueless" Spyro and his friends just ate some pancakes and didn't realize how good they were

Cynder Skylander said "So want to come to the carnivorous crypts to see my farther, and hopefully remove the curse?"

Trent said "Gladly, I've only had it on for one year and its driving me crazy"

Crystal wacked him in the back of the head and said, "What's wrong with me?"

Trent said "Please don't hit me again and it's because I can't do any nighttime flights without having to wake you up" Crystal understood and said "Still, you deserved it for landing on me when we were broken out the crystal"

Trent said, "And why do you think that?"

Crystal said "Because I felt the pain that only you could cause when I woke up"

Trent said "Let's just go"

They all set off towards the carnivorous crypts and as they flew Spyro said "Well floating islands are a new thing"

Cynder Skylander said "They've been here since before I was born" Spyro said "Well can't have happened more than 10,000 years ago"

They saw a light orange crystal that resembled a time crystal, Spyro and the others decided to investigate and upon closer inspection they saw there was 5, as they looked Spyro said "How is this possible, Ignitus is in this crystal"

Cynder ran over to see him and said "But he died in the ring of fire"

Trent said "The other guardians are here as well, even Ember is here"

Spyro said "How did they get here?"

Cynder said "Should we crack these crystals open and find out?" Spyro nodded and started to swipe at the crystals causing them to break, he heard Terradors deep voice say "what's happening"

The crystals all emitted a blinding orange light that faded to reveal the 6 dragons the light quickly subsided to reveal the 6 dragons on the floor collapsed, Spyro Skylander said "We should take them back to the academy" although spectacle Spyro agreed and they carried them towards the academy.

Spyro said "These are the guardians from our time as well as two others, we have no idea how they got here"

Cyril began to wake up and said "What, where am I?" Spyro said "Don't worry you with us, it's been a long time"

Cyril said "Why are there two purple dragons"

Spyro said "we've been frozen for 10,000 years"

Cyril said, "Can you let go off me?"

Trent complied and let go of her she said "thanks now I can at least fly without slowing you do-" She trailed off realizing Ignitus was there and he began to wake he said "Where am I?"

Trent said "Don't worry your safe we found you in a time crystal"

Ignitus looked around and asked, "Who are you?"

Trent said "oh sorry we have never met I am Trent"

Spyro said "I can't believe your alive"

Ignitus said "I can't either, I don't remember anything on how I got here"

Spyro said "We were all stuck in a time crystal"

Volteer woke up and said, "Why am I floating and where is the floor?"

Trent said "That would be because Crystal and I are carrying you"

Volteer said "Well, where are we?"

Trent said "Well explain to you all once we get back"

Cyril flew closer and asked, "Get back where?"

Trent said "The people here have been kind and given us a rom to stay in, well explain everything once we get back there"

Kassandra saw the group and said, "Who are these dragons Spyro?"

Spyro Skylander said "There friends of the lot you found in the time crystal; the older ones are apparently the guardians from there time"

Kassandra said "Well they should go meet the other guardians"

Trent said "Well just explain what has happened and where we are"

Volteer saw Ignitus and said, "But aren't you supposed to be dead, you died in the ring of fire?"

Ignitus said "Well I think I was put into the time crystal before I died from the heat"

Cynder Skylander said "what's the ring of fire?"

Ignitus said "it is a wall of flames that the destroyer creates before it reaches the mountain of Malefor and destroys the world, however the last time it happened to my knowledge it was stopped by Spyro and Cynder"

Cynder Skylander said "Well we were on our way to meet Malefor when we found you"

Ignitus said "He's alive!"

Cynder Skylander said "he's trapped in the underworld, but yes he's alive"

Terrador asked "What is you name anyway we never caught it"

Cynder Skylander said "My names Cynder, I don't know why my farther called me that though"

Cyril said, "Why do you say that?"

Cynder Skylander gulped and stepped back before saying "Bec… Because he was one of Spyro and Cynders enemies"

Volteer said "Wait do you mean that Malefor is yo-"Cynder Skylander cut him off and said "Yes Malefor is my farther, we were going there hoping he would remove those snake chanes around there necks"

Kassandra said "He is of no threat, trust me we've had our fair share of run ins with him, he isn't the nicest of dragons"

Ignitus said "Well he did almost destroy the planet once"

Master eon who had ben 'asleep' the last few days woke up groggily and headed outside towards Kassandra Spyro saw him and said "Who are you" while getting in a battle position Master Eon said "Why am I seeing two Spyros?"

Kassandra said "You're not seeing double there's just two Spyros"

Master Eon blinked a few times and said "How?"

Spyro said "we were born over 10,000 years ago and were frozen in a dragon time crystal, for us I did it when a cave collapsed on us, for the others I have no idea"

Ember began to wake up and Spyro said "Id suggest we get back a bit, especially you Spyro"

Spyro Skylander asked "Why?"

Spyro said "Because she will end up trying to tackle you, I know that from experience" Spyro Skylander nodded and stepped back

Ember woke up and said, "Where am I?"

Flame the other dragon in the crystal with her awoke and said, "I have no idea, maybe we died?"

Terrador said "Do not worry you are not dead; we were somehow trapped in a time crystal and frozen for 10,000 years"

Flame said, "How do you know that?"

Terrador said "Because Spyro was the one to free us and he talked to the guardians of this time and it turns out we 10,000 years in the future"

Spyro said "That reminds me you need to come sees them"

Terrador and the other guardians nodded before taking off and flying with Spyro and the others towards the dragon temple in the unnamed dragon city. When they arrived, they walked in and saw that the other guardians were there talking about how they weren't found earlier. Spyro Skylander said "We have more dragons from there time"

The fire guardian said, "Who are these dragons?"

Cynder said "they are the Guardians and two others that are from before we were frozen"

The Fire guardian said, "Well it is good to see them, why is there only 4?"

Ignitus said "When we were not frozen there was only 4 guardians"

The life guardian said "We can talk tomorrow, you should go and eat and sleep, you haven't eaten in 10,000 years"

Ember saw Spyro and said "Oh hi Spyro" Spyro turned to her and said "I forgot you were here"

Ember looked offended and leapt towards Spyro, but he managed to dodge and said, "What was that for?" Ember said "Just thought it would be fun" with a devilish grin.

Spyro said "Well it's not"

Ember said "Fine I won't annoy you"

Spyro said "Okay, thank you"

Cynder said "Shall we go to bed, it's getting late?"

Spyro said "Yea that's a good idea"

Spyro Skylander said "I hope its okay if the guardians stay with you"

Cynder said "No worries"

They all went to sleep and had a peaceful sleep, as they went to bed they heard Ember was being a pain because Sparx had managed to keep an eye on the crazy dragoness
