Chapter 4

Earth-38

(D.E.O.)

Barry opened his eyes as he came to. Lying on the bed in the med-bay, he was now dressed in a light gray D.E.O. shirt, dark gray pants, and a pair of socks. He looked up and saw Kara, Winn, J'onn, and the woman with reddish-brown hair he recognized as Alex from pictures that Kara had shown him standing around him.

"Good to see you awake, Mr. Allen," J'onn said.

"I made it," Barry muttered, looking around. "I made it out."

"You're on our Earth," Kara told him.

"That part I already figured out," Barry said.

"You remember me, right, Barry?" Winn asked, raising his hand. "I'm..."

"Winn Schott, tech expert of the D.E.O.," Barry finished.

"Good," Winn said.

Kara pointed to Alex and said, "Barry, this is my sister Alex, who you haven't met until now."

"Nice to finally meet you, Barry Allen," Alex said.

"You too, Alex," Barry said.

"Mr. Allen, would you care to explain how you got here?" J'onn asked.

"For starters, I just came out of the Speed Force," Barry answered.

"The Speed Force? What is that?" Alex asked, confused.

"It's an endless void of time, space, and energy that exists outside the Multiverse and is the source of mine and other speedsters' powers," Barry explained. "I was in there since we defeated Savitar back in May." He then frowned. "Wait, how long has it been since then?"

"May was five months ago," Kara answered. "It's October now."

"For me, it was a lot longer than five months," Barry said. "Time works differently in the Speed Force."

"How did you end up in this Speed Force place?" Winn asked.

"There was this prison in the Speed Force that we assumed had to be occupied by a speedster in order to keep it stabilized," Barry explained. "Wally was in the prison for some time before Jay Garrick, The Flash of Earth-3, voluntarily took his place. Jay was eventually freed from the prison by Cisco on the night we defeated Savitar and the next day a Speed Force storm appeared threatening to destroy the world. So I went into the Speed Force myself to keep that from happening or I thought that was the reason at the time. It turned out that the Speed Force prison was erased from existence the same moment Savitar was and that the lightning storm was simply to get me into the Speed Force."

"What did you need to go into the Speed Force for?" Kara asked.

"The Speed Force wanted to teach me a series of valuable life lessons and help me become a better hero than I was last year," Barry answered.

"A better hero? Except maybe Kal, I can't really think of anyone else who is more heroic and pure-hearted than you," Kara said. "You're as good as they come."

"Even we're not perfect, Kara," Barry said. "Let's just say that being in the Speed Force for as long as I was and the experiences I had in there helped me see that very clearly."

"Any idea why you came out of the Speed Force on this Earth and not your own?" Alex asked.

"Um, another thing that the Speed Force told me was that I needed to move to this Earth for a while after I got out," Barry explained.

Winn frowned. "The Speed Force told you... Wait, you're saying the Speed Force can actually talk?"

"The Speed Force is sentient, believe it or not," Barry nodded. "It can take on the forms of different people, usually those that the speedster it's interacting with cares about the most."

"Cool," Winn said.

"The Speed Force wants you to move here? Why?" Kara wondered.

"The Speed Force didn't get into any specifics, but there's a threat in the near future that this Earth is gonna be faced with and I need to be here to help you guys fight it," Barry explained.

"A threat?" Winn asked.

"Can you tell us more about it?" Alex asked.

Barry shrugged. "Like I said, the Speed Force wasn't specific about what this threat is. Just that we'll know when the times comes."

Just then, a beeping noise came from the tablet in Winn's hand. "Oh, our blonde psychic meta-human lady just struck again. This time, she's at the National City Savings and Loans."

"I wish I could go with you, Kara, but unfortunately I don't have my suit," Barry said.

"It's fine, I got this," Kara assured him.

"Can I borrow your extrapolator for a bit when you get back?" Barry asked. "Not only do I need to let everybody on my Earth know that I made it out of the Speed Force, but that I have to move here for a while."

"Okay," Kara nodded, before flying off on her way to deal with the meta-human known as Psi.

Earth-1

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

Cisco and Caitlin were sitting at the computers, while Conner was standing next to them.

"Maybe we should contact Harry," Caitlin suggested. "If anyone can figure out why getting Barry out of the Speed Force didn't work, it's him."

"You're right," Cisco said. "So far, we're not getting anywhere. It keeps saying that it worked when clearly it didn't."

Suddenly, the opening of a breach in the middle of the cortex got their attention. A moment later, Barry Allen, who was now clean-shaven, emerged from the breach before it closed.

"Barry?" Cisco called out in disbelief. He turned to Caitlin. "Tell me if you see him too. Or am I hallucinating?"

"You're not hallucinating, Cisco," Caitlin said. "It's Barry."

"It's really me, guys," Barry assured them. He walked up to Cisco and the two threw their arms around each other in a hug. "You did it. You got me out of the Speed Force."

"I knew it would work, I knew it," Cisco muttered in a proud tone.

Barry then gave Caitlin a hug. "I had no doubt that you would come back to the team, Cait."

"This is where I belong," Caitlin replied, as she and Barry released each other. "You won't have to worry about me leaving ever again."

"Hey, Barry," Conner said.

"Conner," Barry said. "I appreciate you helping the team while I was gone. This city was in good hands these last five months."

"It sure was," Cisco said. "Team Vibe had everything under control."

"Team Vibe?" Barry asked, with a frown.

"Hey, I wasn't the one gone for five months," Cisco said in mock-defense.

"Now that Barry's back, it's Team Flash once again," Caitlin pointed out.

"Oh, about that," Barry said. "There's something I have to tell you guys, but I wanna call Joe and Wally here first."

"What is it, Cisco?" Joe asked, as he and Wally entered the cortex. "You said it was urgent." He stopped dead in his tracks upon noticing the last person he expected to see. "Barr."

"Hey, Joe," Barry greeted.

"Good to have you back, son," Joe said, as he and Barry walked up to each other and embraced.

"I've missed you so much," Barry said.

Barry then hugged Wally as the latter said, "How did you..."

"Cisco was successful in getting me out of the Speed Force, but I got out on Earth-38," Barry explained.

"Isn't that Supergirl's Earth?" Wally asked.

"It is," Barry nodded.

"I wonder why you ended up on that Earth of all places," Cisco said.

"It wasn't a miscalculation or anything you did wrong, Cisco," Barry said. "Everything you did was perfect, but the Speed Force intentionally let me out of it on Earth-38."

"But why?" Cisco wondered.

"First of all, the Speed Force prison faded from existence with Savitar," Barry explained. "The lightning storm that appeared was never because of the Speed Force becoming unbalanced and threatening to destroy the world. It was all part of a plan to get me in there. Besides, if that was really the case, the lightning storm would've appeared on every other Earth as well, but it didn't."

"Why did the Speed Force want you inside it?" Joe asked.

"To teach me some valuable life lessons and help me see the error of my ways," Barry said.

"The error of your ways? You've never done anything wrong, Barry," Caitlin said. "And if you're talking about Flashpoint, I'm pretty sure you've learned your lesson."

"I did, but I'm not talking about Flashpoint," Barry said. "I'm talking about that fact that I've been a very selfish and horrible friend last year." He sighed deeply. "When you were struggling with your powers, I wasn't there for you like I should've been." He turned to Cisco. "And I wasn't really there when you were grieving over your brother either."

"Dude, I don't blame you for what happened to Dante anymore," Cisco said. "It wasn't really your fault and I should've realized it back then. I mean, for all we know, that accident could've happened even without Flashpoint."

"And I get why you didn't have time to focus on me, Barry," Caitlin added. "You were trying to save Iris from being killed."

"No," Barry shook his head in shame. "No, that's not an excuse for my behavior. You and Cisco have been nothing but great friends to me since the day I woke up from my coma and you two always had my back no matter what. But when you guys needed me, I was too caught up in myself and Iris to give either of you the time of day, which is something I don't think I could ever forgive myself for."

"Barry, how do you know I wouldn't have lost control to Killer Frost anyway?" Caitlin pointed out. "Even without Savitar wanting to kill Iris, maybe there was nothing you could've done to prevent it."

"Maybe, maybe not, but that's besides the point, Cait," Barry said. "It really says something when an evil, twisted version of me was there for you while I wasn't."

"I'm not even gonna try to convince that what happened to me wasn't your fault because I know how stubborn you can be," Caitlin said. "But if it's any consolation, Frost and I, we came to a mutual understanding."

"What?" Cisco asked, incredulously.

"It's okay, Cisco," Barry said, reassuringly. "Frost isn't evil anymore. Trust me."

Caitlin looked at Barry in surprise. "Wait, you knew about that before I told you?"

"There are a lot of things I've learned while I was trapped in the Speed Force," Barry said. He turned to Conner. "I also knew that you had joined the team a few days after I left."

"Wait, you were able to see what were doing while you were gone?" Wally asked.

"The Speed Force showed me various points in the past, present, and future that I needed to see," Barry said. "Everything I went through was a much-needed eye-opener that helped me realize all my mistakes so that I could be a better person from here on out."

"If anyone can learn from their past mistakes, it's you, Barr," Joe said. "Very few people are as brave, kind, and optimistic as you. By the way, there's something you should know about Iris. She..."

"Let me guess, Iris moved to Keystone City a month after I went into the Speed Force," Barry finished.

"So the Speed Force told you that too," Joe said.

"More like showed me," Barry said. "The truth is, I don't feel the same way about Iris as I once did, which is why I'm gonna have to talk to her and close the book on our relationship once and for all."

"You don't love Iris anymore?" Wally asked, he and everyone else in the room, except Conner, looking at Barry in disbelief.

"I'll always care about Iris like a sister, but after having a lot of time to think while in the Speed Force and being shown certain moments of our relationship, it's clear that we're better off as friends," Barry said.

"There's something I didn't expect to come out of your mouth if I ever saw you again," Cisco remarked.

"Whatever you're gonna say to Iris, make sure she fully understands your decision," Joe said, shocked that Barry no longer had romantic feelings for his daughter.

"Even if I wanted to resume things with Iris, right now wouldn't be a good time to do so anyway," Barry said.

"What do you mean?" Joe asked.

"Another thing that the Speed Force told me was that I have to move to Earth-38 for a while and help Kara deal with an upcoming threat," Barry explained. "And before any of you ask, the Speed Force didn't give me any details on what exactly this threat is."

"Is that what you meant when you said the Speed Force intentionally let you out of it on Earth-38?" Caitlin asked, and Barry nodded.

"Let's see if I'm hearing you correctly," Cisco said, disappointment in his voice. "You're telling us that, after all this time and effort we put into figuring out how to get you out of the Speed Force, you make it out only to have to leave again?"

"We just got you back, Barr," Joe added.

"I know, but I don't have a choice," Barry said.

"Are you sure you can even trust the Speed Force?" Wally asked. "I mean, even if that 'world coming to an end' stuff was totally bogus, people still got injured and died that night."

"Look, I know how much I mean to you guys and I feel the same way about each of you, but I have to do this," Barry said. "The Speed Force was very clear that the threat on Earth-38 is real and that Kara will need help fighting it. This is not goodbye. I'm just going to another Earth, which means, unlike when I was in the Speed Force, I can visit and see you guys."

"How long does the Speed Force want you to stay on Earth-38?" Joe asked.

"Until the threat that's coming is over," Barry answered. "It could be months, it could be... more than a year." He looked at Wally. "While I'm gonna be The Flash of Earth-38, you're The Flash of Earth-1 now."

"As much as it hurts me to admit it, I can never be as good as the original Flash of Earth-1," Wally said.

"You're good enough, Wally," Barry said. "I saw your training sessions against Conner and you've improved quite a bit."

"Dude, is there anything you didn't see while you were in the Speed Force?" Cisco remarked.

"It only showed me stuff that I needed to see," Barry answered.

"Then I guess you won't be surprised to learn that I've got a little welcome-back gift for you," Cisco said.

"It's a new suit, right?" Barry said.

"Come on, man, why you gotta spoil the fun?" Cisco said, as he walked over to something covered in a sheet. "Come, come, walk with your boy. Gather around, class." Everyone watched as Cisco removed the sheet, revealing a new Flash suit that was a brighter red than the previous suits. "Kablam!"

"I mean, that was a cool reveal and everything, but I've seen that suit," Barry said, unimpressed.

"Yeah, we all know you gave Barry's and Conner's suits nice little fancy makeovers," Wally said.

"Yeah, but you don't know what you don't know," Cisco said. "And underneath all this red beautiful, I've built in self-repairing armor, nano-liquid circuitry, full-spectrum scanning, and a whole bunch of other big words. Chief among them..." Cisco pressed something on the screen of his tablet and, a moment later, a pair of yellow lenses appeared in the eye holes of the Flash suit. "Your very own custom-made HUD. This thing is loaded with maps, schematics, delivery menus. Everything you'll need while you're on Earth-38."

"Dude, this is awesome," Barry said, staring at the suit admiringly.

"You sound genuinely surprised," Cisco said.

"Well, I knew you made me a new suit, but I didn't know about all this technology you put in it," Barry said. "What else does it do?"

Cisco set his tablet down and picked up a large white binder. "Well, lucky for you, I even wrote you an instruction manual." He handed the binder to Barry.

"Yay!" Barry gushed with delight.

"Come on, we're not cavemen," Cisco said.

"Really good work, Cisco," Caitlin said.

"I know," Cisco said, as he walked off.

(Keystone City)

Iris West was in her rented apartment typing an article for Keystone City News on her laptop when she heard the doorbell ring. She got up and walked to the door. Looking through the peep hole, she couldn't believe who was standing on the other side. With a wide smile, she opened the door and stared in surprise at her visitor.

"Barry," Iris gushed. She wasted no time throwing her arms around him in a bear hug.

"Hey, Iris," Barry replied, before they let each other go.

"How is this possible? You were in the Speed Force," Iris said.

"Cisco got me out," Barry answered.

Iris opened the door wider. "Come in."

Barry did so before Iris closed the door back. "This is a nice place you got here," he said to her. "What made you decide to move?"

"Well, after everything that happened with Savitar, I didn't wanna take life for granted anymore, so I resumed being a reporter," Iris explained. "As for why I moved to Keystone, I figured, aside from my father and brother living there, there was not much left for me in Central City anymore."

"By 'not much left', you mean me," Barry said, knowingly. "You moved because you didn't think you would ever see me again."

"I'd be lying if I said that wasn't part of the reason," Iris admitted. "But now that my boyfriend is back, I'm willing to move back to Central City and restart our life together."

Barry took a deep breath, knowing this wasn't going to be an easy conversation. "There's something I need to tell you, Iris."

"What is it? You know you can tell me anything, babe," Iris said.

Barry sighed. "When I was in the Speed Force, I've had a lot of time to think. About my life, about my friends and family, about the mistakes and decisions that I've made, and about our relationship. One thing I came to realize is that, um, what we had together was not love."

Iris frowned in confusion. "What's that supposed to mean, Barry?"

"Exactly what I said," Barry answered. "We may have thought that our relationship was based on love, but the truth is, it was more of an infatuation on both of our ends."

"Okay, you're not thinking like yourself, babe," Iris said. "Being in the Speed Force for five months clearly messed with your head a little. Why don't you stay here for the evening and get some rest? Maybe you'll feel better in the morning."

"I'm fine, Iris, and I'm thinking completely like myself right now," Barry said. "I didn't see it before, but our relationship isn't as good as we thought it was."

"What are you talking about, Barry? I love you," Iris said, a feeling of dread appearing in the pit of her stomach. "I love you with all of my heart." She caressed Barry's cheek. "If you forgot that, I'm here to remind you."

"You don't love me, Iris," Barry said, causing her to wince in disbelief at his words. "Not the way you think you do. You just love the idea of being romantically involved with The Flash."

"Barry, how could you say something like that? That is not true!" Iris protested. "I love you for who you are, Barry Allen, whether you're The Flash or not!"

"You can tell yourself whatever you want, Iris, but everything the Speed Force showed me wasn't a lie," Barry said. "I saw many moments of my past, including our relationship, and there were too many red flags that I never picked up on before."

"Barry, whatever issues The Speed Force led you to believe we have about our relationship, we can fix them," Iris said, looking at her foster brother with pleading brown eyes. "We can make us work. We're Barry and Iris, remember? We're in this together and we can do anything."

"Iris, I love you," Barry said. "I will always love you, but only like a sister, not in a romantic way. Not anymore."

At that point, Iris looked at Barry as if he had just punched her in the face. Her voice trembling, she asked, "Is that really how you feel, Barry? What about all those times you said that you loved me? And that I'll always be your lightning rod? You told me that, Barry, remember? You told me!"

"I did and I meant those words at the time, but things have changed now," Barry said.

"So that's it? You're breaking up with me?" Iris asked incredulously, at this point unable to contain the tears that started rolling down her cheeks.

"It's over, Iris," Barry said, with a sigh. "It's over." He paused for a moment before adding, "And even if I was interested in resuming our relationship, I couldn't right now."

"What?" Iris asked, wiping tears from her face.

"The Speed Force needs me to move to Earth-38 for a while," Barry said.

"Kara's Earth? Why does the Speed Force want you to move there?" Iris asked.

"There's a threat coming that she's gonna need help with," Barry answered. "I can't just stay here and ignore that."

"But what about your life here? Your team, your job at CCPD, and being The Flash that Central City needs?" Iris pointed out. "You can't just turn your back on all of that! Doesn't Kara have her own team who can help her with whatever is gonna happen on her Earth? Not to mention she's much stronger and more powerful than you are!"

"Iris, the Speed Force wouldn't have put me up to this if it wasn't important," Barry pointed out. "I can't just sit back and ignore what it told me I need to do. And with Conner remaining on our team and Wally's improvement, Central City is in good hands." He sighed again before adding, "I have to go. Goodbye, Iris."

With that, Barry turned around and left the apartment.

After locking the door back, Iris sat down on her couch and broke down sobbing.

(Star City)

Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow was in a warehouse as he confronted his former friend Anatoly Knyazev. Next to Anatoly was a man, whose face was disfigured from having been infected with tectrodotoxin, seated in a chair with his hands bound behind his back.

"I asked for twenty million specifically because I know you had it," Anatoly said to Oliver. "You'd trade this man's life for a new police station?"

"Not exactly," Oliver answered, before raising his bow and firing an arrow containing a syringe at the tip.

The arrow hit the bound man in the shoulder as the contents in the syringe were injected into him.

"I do not think you understand how this whole rescue thing works," Anatoly said.

"No, I think I do," Oliver said.

Anatoly noticed that the bound man began to come to. "Some sort of antidote? Very clever."

"Now step away from him, Anatoly," Oliver demanded. "He's not a part of this."

"I made him part of this," Anatoly said, before shooting the bound man in the back with a gun, killing him instantly. "And I never got my money."

Oliver shook his head in disgust. "What the hell has happened to you? Not even Gregor would've done that!"

"Yes, he would've," Anatoly countered, without remorse. "You never saw because you were too naive. You still are."

"We were friends," Oliver said.

"Yes," Anatoly said. "But I see how you treat your friends."

Oliver shook his head in disappointment, due to the levels his friend had stooped to. "No, Anatoly, no. This is on you. You used to be an honorable man."

"I am an honorable man," Anatoly maintained. "Did I have bomb planted in your son's school? Did I have him kidnapped? Tortured? No. Because even though we stand apart, I am still good man. I wonder, what would happen to William if you ran afoul of someone who is not good?"

With that, Anatoly turned around and started to walk away.

"Anatoly!" Oliver snarled, as the man in question turned to face him once more. "Don't you move."

"Don't bluff," Anatoly sneered. "We have been here before. We both know you will not kill me."

Suddenly, a flash of yellow-orange lightning appeared and Oliver was gone a moment later, leaving Anatoly alone.

The lightning stopped on the same rooftop where Barry and Oliver had their conversation three years ago after the former had woken up from his coma. A moment later, the men in question were standing face-to-face on the rooftop, Barry now clad in his new Flash suit with the cowl down.

Oliver stared at the younger man in shock. "Barry?"

"Hey, Ollie," Barry greeted, as both scarlet speedster and emerald archer hugged each other. "It's good to see you." The two released each other before Barry asked, "How's everything? I heard about what happened on Lian Yu and I'm sorry I couldn't make it when Adrian Chase kidnapped everyone, including your son, and blew up the island."

"You have nothing to apologize for, Barry," Oliver said, reassuringly. "You had your hands full with Savitar and then you had to go into the Speed Force to keep the world safe. Even you can't be in multiple places at once."

"Right," Barry nodded. "I'm sorry about Felicity, Samantha, Curtis, and Rene. They were four good people who didn't deserve what happened to them. And William certainly didn't deserve what happened to his mother."

"William's been hanging in there," Oliver said. "He blamed me for what happened to Samantha initially and didn't speak to me for a few weeks, but we're on good terms now. Thea and Raisa have been doing their best to look after him while I'm tending to my duties as both mayor and Green Arrow."

"So it's just you, Roy, Earth-2 Laurel, and Sara protecting the city these days, right?" Barry said.

"Actually, it's just me, Roy, and Laurel now, since Sara had to leave for a mission after getting a call from Mick Rory," Oliver nodded. "As for Dig, after Cisco gave him a chip that repaired the nerve damage he received in his arm after being caught in one of the explosions on Lian Yu, he decided against rejoining the team to work at A.R.G.U.S. and spend more time helping Lyla raise their son. I guess your team in Central City filled you in on everything that's happened."

"Actually, I learned all of this in the Speed Force, among many other things," Barry said. "The reason I ran here to see you, aside from letting you know that I made it out of the Speed Force, is to tell you that I have to move to Earth-38 for a while."

"Have to?" Oliver asked.

"It's what the Speed Force told me I need to do because of a threat that's set to happen on that Earth in the near future," Barry said.

"What kind of threat, Barry?" Oliver asked.

"The Speed Force wasn't specific, but moving there is something I have to do," Barry said.

"How do your friends and family in Central City feel about that?" Oliver asked.

"They're gonna miss me obviously, but after explaining it to them, they understood," Barry answered.

"Even Iris?" Oliver asked.

"Iris and I, um... we broke up," Barry said.

"Really?" Oliver asked, surprised.

"One of the things the Speed Force did was show me moments of my life, including when I was with Iris," Barry explained. "After seeing too many red flags in our relationship that I couldn't just ignore anymore, I realized that what I had with Iris was more of an infatuation rather than love and we're better off as friends, so I ended things with her for good."

"I don't know what to say, Barry," Oliver said.

"You don't have to say anything," Barry said. "I only made what I felt was the right choice. Iris and I are not meant to be and I'm fine with that. Anyway, I'll let you get back to whatever business you need to tend to next. I should get going."

"If you need me while you're on Earth-38, you know where to find me," Oliver said, before extending his hand. "Good luck, Barry."

"Same to you, Ollie," Barry said, as he shook Oliver's hand.

With that, Barry sped off, while Oliver disappeared from the rooftop on a grappling cable.

Earth-38

"Here is the spare apartment that you're welcome to stay in while you're on our Earth," Kara said to Barry, as they and Cisco were inside the apartment that was right across Kara's. "We rented this place out specifically for any visitors we may get."

"Nice," Barry said, looking around at his temporary place before he set his duffle bags down on the couch. "I really appreciate this, Kara."

"What are super-friends for?" Kara said. "You guys would do the same if any one of us were moving to your Earth."

"That goes without saying," Barry said.

"Well, I should get back to Earth-1," Cisco said, before turning to Barry. "Be safe here, buddy."

"You know I will," Barry said.

"I'll be visiting whenever I can."

"Same here."

"May the Speed Force be with you."

With that, Cisco opened a breach and leapt through it. A moment later, the breach closed.

"Well, looks like you're gonna be stuck with us for a while," Kara said to Barry.

"Not that it's a bad thing," Barry said.

"To be honest, I'm really glad you're here," Kara said, a genuinely happy grin on her face for the first time since the Daxamite invasion and Mon-El's subsequent departure. There was something about being around Barry that seemed to brighten her mood. The Girl of Steel may never get to see her boyfriend again, but at least she would get to enjoy the company of her fellow superhero friend for a good while.

I decided to skip over Barry not being in his right mind and speaking random words since that was nothing more than to give Iris a reason to foolishly give herself up to the Samuroid. In this, Barry came out of the Speed Force with his mind fully intact and remembers everything that happened while in there.

The scene in The Flash 3x17 where Barry sings and proposes again to Iris never happened here. Instead, Barry planned to wait until after the Savitar mess was dealt with before asking Iris to marry him, but didn't get the chance due to having to go into the Speed Force. That way, him breaking up with Iris in this chapter was no problem at all.

As for the Arrow events in this series, Earth-2 Laurel aka Black Siren turned over a new leaf and helped Team Arrow from 5x10 onwards, while Dinah Drake was the one recruited into Prometheus' team instead. Another difference from canon is that Roy Harper was also kidnapped by Prometheus and therefore participated in the events on Lian Yu in 5x23. Lian Yu still blew up, but Felicity, Dinah, Curtis, and Rene were all killed in the blast along with Samantha and Evelyn Sharp, while Thea was fine and didn't end up in a coma.

Also, after Rip Hunter disbanded the Legends at the end of Legends of Tomorrow Season 2, Sara returned to Star City, found out about Black Siren's existence, and spent those five months rejoining Team Arrow and getting to know her sister's doppelganger until the Legends 3x01 when she received the call from Mick about Julius Ceasar being in the present.

The current members of Team Arrow in this are Oliver, Roy, Earth-2 Laurel, and occasionally Thea. Nothing with Cayden James or Oliver's identity being leaked to the public will happen here since, frankly, I don't care much about the post-Season 5 plots of Arrow. And if Ricardo Diaz still shows up, his role will be greatly reduced from what it was in canon.
