"Call Me Maybe"

Ling hiccuped as he turned to his side in the front passenger seat, poking out his lip as Paninya did her best to ignore him. "You're not mad at me, are ya?"

Paninya sighed deeply. "Ling, now is not the time to speak."

Ed sniggered in the backseat. "Dude, what the hell were you thinking?"

"We were thinking," Ling said, sloppily pointing a finger at Lan Fan, as she stared half-conscious out of the window, "that we wanted to do it."

"In Pan's car, though?!" Winry exclaimed.

"We covered up the seat with our clothes," Ling explained, as though that made the act completely justifiable.

"Thank god," Winry muttered, moving uncomfortably in her middle seat.

"You can sit in my lap, if ya want," Ed smirked, leaning his face down towards Winry's neck.

"KNOCK IT OFF!" Paninya shouted, glaring at Ed from the rearview mirror. "I don't need anymore attempts at drunk sex in my car."

"Pan!" Winry exclaimed, her mouth dropping. "I wouldn't do that!"

"I would," Ling smiled, and winked at Ed.

"Dude," Ed said, feigning shock, and gestured to Winry and Lan Fan. "Our girlfriends are right here."

"Like we couldn't sense the sexual tension before," Winry chided, causing Lan Fan to giggle.

"Whaaaat," Ed exasperated. "Naw, man. I mean, I love Ling, but not like that."

Ling poked his lip out once more. "What do you mean, Edward? Am I not good enough for you?"

"No!" he exclaimed, and clasped a hand against Ling's shoulder. "It's just, you're my dude, ya know? I wouldn't want to ruin it."

"Lan Fan, I think we're about to be broken up with," Winry sighed.

Lan Fan adjusted herself against the cold glass of the window and shrugged. "So long as they're happy."

"You're lying," Ling said, and smacked Ed's hand away. "You've only got eyes for James."

"Wait, who?" Winry squeaked, and Lan Fan burst into laughter.

The man's eyes went dark as he glared at Ed. "James Maslow."

"YOU SWORE YOU'D NEVER TELL!" Ed shouted, as Winry's jaw dropped farther than before and Lan Fan's laugh turned into a gut-busting cackle.

"YOU'VE HAD EYES FOR HIM EVER SINCE WE WATCHED BIG TIME BAD BOY!"

At that point, Paninya had lost all patience. "ALRIGHT! ALL OF YOU, SHUT UP!"

She slammed her hand against the radio dial and turned on anything to drown out these idiots and their ramblings. The city's latest hits station blared throughout the car; the disc jockey shouting over the sounds of club music in the background, stating that the next half hour would be commercial free, thank god.

The opening notes for "Call Me Maybe" began to bounce throughout the car, and Paninya moved to turn the channel.

"DON'T YOU DARE!" Ling and Ed screamed in unison.

"Please tell me you're joking," Pan groaned, but as the singing came in, she found herself wishing she hadn't touched the radio.

"Oh my god," Winry shouted, but her words were drowned out by the drunken shouting of Ed and Ling as they sang along to Carly Rae Jepsen, very, very poorly.

"HEY, I JUST MET YOU, AND THIS IS CRAZY, BUT HERE'S MY NUMBER, SO CALL ME MAYBE~!"

"Please kill me," Paninya said to herself, but couldn't stop from laughing.

"Sing with us!" Ling exclaimed. "Lan Fan, I KNOW you know the words!"

"C'mon, Win!" Ed beamed, nudging her with his elbow. "YOUR STARE WAS HOLDIN'-"

Winry clasped her hands against her face in embarrassment, then lifted her head in the air and shouted, "RIPPED JEANS, SKIN WAS SHOWIN'-"

"HOT NIGHT, WIND WAS BLOWIN'-" the drunken passengers sang, and Paninya let out a sigh before joining in. "WHERE YA THINK YOU'RE GOING, BABY?"

The rest of the drive consisted of singing poorly and loudly along to every horrible pop song that played over the radio station. Paninya laughed hysterically at Ling's attempts at dancing in his seat, but it turning into chaotic flailing due to the seatbelt. Playing the role of D.D could get a little hectic, but damn, did she love hanging out with these idiots.

Author's Note: I did NOT write this to fulfill the idea of Ed and Ling singing along to Carly Rae Jepsen. Absolutely not. This is a very important chapter. With important things happening. Yeah.
