Pearl Darkness.

Hello guys. So, I have a little confession here - I've lost touch to the style of humor Dear RWBY had. I hate to admit this, but I can't really portray Weiss' reactions as accurate as I did before. It started happening around the vlog where they had a deep conversation about their purpose in becoming a huntress from volume two.

While I did say that I'm taking a different approach in writing this series, I didn't mean to completely ditch the core element. I'm experimenting with different ways to portray it, and I've strayed so far that I can't even go back to the humor anymore.

And thus, what I published from now on might or might not have Weiss' amazing reactions and such that you'll find in their early vlogs. Nevertheless, I try to make it as humorous as possible. Thank you to all the readers that's been supporting me since I first started it.

Special thanks to: Weiss'Bae (Where have you been princess? If you see this, please reply to my PM!), LastOrder, Mew Shadowfang, OBSERVER01, Jyoster, The Wizardous Magicman, HaloGoji75, bookwyrm321.

Very special thanks to: Demetrion and Pearl Darkness.

I can't name every single reader who left a review, or this chapter would have an amazing word count. Nevertheless, I thank everyone!

Dust, now this A/N sounded too dramatic. Well. I was only telling the truth! I hope you enjoy the Dear RWBY series and the direction it's heading towards.

P.S. This is the first time my A/N occupied an entire Doc page.

Dear RWBY #48

Start.

"Hello and welcome to another Dear RWBY vlog!" Ruby Rose threw both her hands up in excitement.

The members of Team RWBY stood at their usual spot, facing Yang's scroll that was placed on Weiss' study desk. They were wearing the standard Beacon uniform, and for some reason the Faunus had tied her hair up into a ponytail; she also took off her trademark black ribbon.

"So we're back at Beacon now!" The big sister of the team yelled as she showed a 'peace' sign at the screen.

"And we have to get to Professor Port's class in…" Blake adjusted her sleeve, attempting to take a look at her watch - only to realize that she wasn't wearing it. She sighed and turned to her teammate whom she knew would never forget hers.

"Ten minutes! Dust, do you all have any sense of responsibility as a student? As a huntress?!"

"Chill bae, we'll make it in time!"

The heiress growled in response.

"Don't worry Weiss! We have my semblance!"

"And how many people can you carry?" Weiss raised an eyebrow, obviously doubting her partner's capability.

"...Fair point."

"She can carry me." The Faunus defended her girlfriend, "And you have your glyphs. Just use that to carry you and your giant, muscular girlfriend to class."

"Hey!" Said muscular girlfriend imitated the heiress, "I'm not giant!"

"The protein you've been drinking begs to differ." Blake replied.

"The weights and girlfriend that you...smashed also beg to differ."

"Ruby!" The Freezerburn pair yelled in unison.

Ruby held out her hand and eyed the Faunus; the latter understood immediately and smacked her hand, giving her a high-five.

"Blake, what have you been teaching her?!" Yang put both palms on her cheeks in terror.

"A lot of stuff." The black haired girl smirked.

"By the way, you look really good today, Blake." Ruby complimented her girlfriend.

"Why thank you, love. I thought a change of pace would be nice once in a while."

"Gaaaaay!"

"Can we just get the fucking video done and...go to class together?"

"Why are you cursing so much lately, Weiss?"

"Ask you and your cat!"

"Hey, that's racist!"

"Oh really?" The heiress crossed her arms while staring at the Faunus smugly.

"Nah, I was just kitten." Said Faunus returned the smug.

Weiss scowled, but was interrupted by Yang before she could retort anything back to her sassy teammate.

"Now now girls, we should all stop…"

"Oh no not before class!" Ruby knew that 'Kuroko-about-to-harass-Misaka' look on her sister's face way too well.

"Pro-cat-sinating and just answer the question!"

"Vögeln!"

"Is that gonna be a thing from now on, princess?"

"No." The heiress replied with the exact same tone she used when she denied Ruby's BFF statement during their first Vytal Festival match. The timeline in the Dear RWBY series was a little confusing, but nonetheless, Team RWBY had completed the tournament. The champion of course, was none other than Pyrrha Nikos - and surprisingly, Sun Wukong got the runner up, followed by Penny Polendina. Perhaps they would upload videos from the tournament in the future, but they couldn't promise anything.

Blake raised an eyebrow as she started teasing the Supreme Overlady, "But I must commend her Ice Majesty for not freezing our dorm."

"Morning vlog was a correct decision!" Ruby backed her up.

"Indeed." Yang continued after her sister, "If we shoot this vlog not ten minutes before our first class, I bet this will turn into a… cat-astroph- wait!"

-beep-

"And once again, it happened." Little red's face appeared after the screen was resumed. Judging from the background, Team RWBY was filming on the roof of Beacon dorm where they previously celebrated their 100 followers occasion. She let out a short sigh before continuing, "We have to resume shooting the vlog during lunch break."

"Thanks to the Supreme Overlady." Blake smirked.

Said Overlady scowled and questioned, "Whose fault do you think it was?"

"Definitely not me." Came the immediate answer from the partially frozen dragon, "I can't eat with the ice on my hands, bae."

"Then don't eat."

"Aww Weissy~" Yang pouted, "Fine. It's totally my… paw-lt. I apologize."

"Did you just-"

"Ugh I can't believe she's still on it…" Ruby groaned.

"I'm just feline like continuing the cat puns."

"Just read the goddamn question!" Weiss squealed.

"Right." The Faunus agreed. She pulled out her scroll and proceeded to read the question aloud, "OBSERVER01 asked, Dear Yang, what is the strongest and toughest opponent you can take down in just one punch?"

"Oh that's easy! Pretty much every single person around us that isn't colored!" The brawler answered. After a pause, she continued, "I refrained from saying… 'every single black person', cause that will sound pretty racist. Or not. I mean the shadow people are black, just not...that kind of black."

"Yang, this is not volume one." Blake rolled her eyes.

"Right! Dang, got really confused with the timelines…" The blonde narrowed her eyes at the screen, as if she was trying to glare at a certain someone. A certain sponsor, maybe.

"It's not entirely her fault." The Faunus spoke.

"Seriously, what are you two talking about?" Ruby asked.

"Oh you sweet summer child… literally…" Yang whispered the last word.

"Huh?"

"Yang."

"Sorry bae."

"Stop calling me that!"

"Guys, this is supposed to be a short episode, considering the question was directed to Yang only…" The team leader eyed all of them, "And lunch will be over soon."

"Oops. Alright, I'll behave from now on. Paw-lease forgive me."

The red, the white and the black groaned together.

"So...the strongest and toughest opponent that I can take down in just one punch...right, some time after our very first snowball fight, it actually came for revenge, and I one punched that pum-"

"Yang! How many time have I said this?! Not. On. Camera!" Her sister interrupted.

"Wouldn't want to reveal the crime you've committed to the entire Remnant." Blake shrugged.

"Hey, it was just a really light punch to take it out! Besides, is punching puma even a crime?"

"You did what?!"

-beep-

"So, that's my answer, OBSERVER01!" Yang winked at the screen, "A big cat of some kind."

"Yep." Ruby deadpanned, "And if you have anything to ask us, just leave a comment below."

"Weiss just went to the CCT to check if puma-punching is a crime."

"Oh c'mon! Even if it's an endangered animal, it's fine! I didn't kill it! Just...knocked it unconscious!"

"So if you don't see Yang by next week, you know what's up."

"...Is it really a crime?"

End.

#

Please don't call me out on them revealing their crimes to the entire Remnant. I mean, Blake's a cat burglar; Team RWBY robbed a bank; Ruby drove without a license and knocked Penny out; Yang trashed night clubs and snapped someone's neck; Weiss...is Weiss. Puma-punching, also known as pumching, is considered...tame already.

Right? Right?

Jokes aside, I hope you enjoy this chapter. Do you like the puns~?
