Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be getting Akane's backstory and learning who se truly is, with it definitely being a surprise. Along with a sneak peek at the now fractured Chan Clan. So, without further ado.

"Don't worry, that Malfoy guy said they'd be here tomorrow to deal with them."
"I don't see why we can't just do it ourselves; we'd already have their money by now."
"We've been over this; we can't risk anything being connected to us. This way, all the blame will be on those idiots in Britain. Should anyone figure it out, we'll already have all the money and the stupid kid as our shield."
"Whatever, as long as I get my drinking money and-what was that?!"
"It came from outside!"
"It's brat, grab her!"
"Should have stayed out of it, runt! Things would have been easier."
"Erase her memories."
"Send her away."
"I'm glad we don't have to deal with any of them, now."
"Stupid orphan brat."
"They're all dead."
Akane shot up in bed her, gasping for air, with the witch panting as she looked around rapidly, while taking in her surroundings. Only relaxing when she saw that she was still in the hotel room that she, Liquidelle, Shendu, and Po Kong have been staying in, during their stay in Japan.
Groaning, Akane got up and went to the bathroom, before turning on the water and began splashing some in her face.
'Can't believe those are back.' Akane thought, hating that the dreams were back, with this not being the first time she's had dreams like the one she just had.
She used to have them all the time when she was little. They always freaked her out, given how they weren't normal nightmares. They almost felt like memories from when she was really, really little, and they were always the same. A bunch of blurry image, along with hearing two people speaking. Though Akane never recognized the voices, only being able to tell it was a man and woman. The redhead didn't know what they were discussing, but it obviously didn't sound good. Then it'd end with her being chased and grabbed before a bright flash of light woke her up.
Eventually, the dreams had stopped, which Akane was thankful for. Glad she could sleep peacefully, without waking up terrified that someone was after her.
But now, ever since coming to Japan, she's begun having them again, only they seemed to be getting more frequent. Not to mention, Akane would sometimes catch herself looking around Tokyo, getting a strange sense of nostalgia, as if she's been here before. Which is impossible, since as far as Akane knew, she was born in Britain and her parents died before she could even remember them.
It all felt so uncomfortable, and Akane wished they could just leave Japan already, so the dreams would stop. With the witch not even sure on why they're still here, in the first place.
'And it's not like Shendu is giving me any answers.' Akane thought, annoyed that each time she asked Shendu on why they were still in Japan, he'd never give an answer, or he just said "information", but never said what information they were looking for.
Sighing, Akane grabbed a towel and dried her face off, but when she lowered the towel and looked at her reflection. Only for the girl to give a short scream and jumped back. Her hand immediately going to her wand and pointing it at the mirror, only to see her reflection was normal again.
'That…what the hell was that?' Akane thought, freaked out as for a second, as she could have sworn that her reflection suddenly had blonde hair and blue eyes, rather than her normal bright red/auburn hair and dark purple eyes.
With the girl jumping slightly when she heard a knock at the door.
"You alright in there, Akane?" Liquidelle asked, with Akane glancing at her reflection again, seeing it was still normal, before pocketing her wand again.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine." Replied Akane, before opening the door, and seeing the Water Demon looking at her with a raised brow.
"You sure? Cause, I swore I heard you scream." Liquidelle said, while looking around for any sign of what could have made her scream.
"Yeah, totally, I just almost tripped is all. Uh, where's Shendu and Po Kong?" Akane asked, changing the subject quickly, with Liquidelle narrowing her eyes slightly, but dropped the matter for now.
"They went out, Shendu took Po Kong to another restaurant." Replied Liquidelle, with Akane groaning at hearing this.
"Seriously? That's like, the fortieth one in the past five days." Akane said, given how many times the two Demon Sorcerers went out, so Po Kong could eat out another restaurant.
It still amazed her that despite eating enough food to feed an entire town, Po Kong still complained about being hungry and wanting more food. Even with Shendu's threats to stay silent, she still continued to complain until the Dragon finally relented and took her out to eat, if only so she didn't try eating anyone. Hell, Akane was sure that she could eat an entire country's worth of food, and still want more.
"Well, what do you expect? She is the Mountain Demon, so she eats several mountains worth of food." Liquidelle said, smirking, while Akane snorted in amusement.
"I guess that explains why she's bigger than a whale." Stated Akane, not surprised if that was the real reason for Po Kong's immense size, with the Water Demon giving a short laugh, while nodding in agreement.
"So, what should we do until they get back?" Akane asked, not wanting to sit around in the hotel room until the Demon Sorcerers get back, especially not after the dream she had again.
"Well, we're in one of the largest cities on the planet. So we can either sit around here all day, or we can go out and enjoy ourselves." Said Liquidelle, smirking, with Akane smirking as well.
"Well, what're we waiting for?" Akane asked rhetorically, before the two exited the room and headed out into the city.
"Awesome. I've been here before, a couple of times, and can show you all the best places." Stated Liquidelle.
It wasn't long, before the two arrived at a massive shopping complex, with Liquidelle immediately pulling Akane to a clothing store. With the redhead not having time to say anything as the Water Demon pulled her around, while taking various pieces of clothing off the racks and shelves for either herself or tossing them to Akane. Once that was finished, Akane found herself pulled to the dressing rooms, with Liquidelle heading into one.
"Huh, I didn't take you for someone that enjoyed clothes shopping." Said Akane, not thinking Liquidelle would like normal girl things.
"I may be a demon, but I'm still a girl. Plus, one thing that humans have done right over the centuries, is designing clothes. Not to mention, I can always fill out what I wear, with my powers." Said Liquidelle as she exited the dressing room, with Akane's eyes widening at the sight.
Liquidelle was now wearing black leather, thigh-high heeled boots, black leather pants with aqua blue edgings, that looked painted on with how tight they were. Along with a sea green tank top that showed off a decent amount of cleavage, an aqua blue jacket, and a pair of sunglasses.
"Well what do you think?" Liquidelle asked, smirking as she spun around, with the redhead gaining a light blush, when her eyes drifted lower and saw how well her pants hugged her hips and ass.
Akane was willingly to admit, that when she wasn't trying to kill her, Liquidelle was pretty attractive.
"I-it looks n-nice." Akane said with a slight stutter, while Liquidelle looked herself over in the mirror.
"Hm, you think so? You don't think these pants make my butt look big?" Liquidelle asked, making Akane's blush intensify at the question.
"N-no!" Akane said quickly, while cursing her hormones from starting to enter puberty.
"Hm, yeah, you're right, I still look hot." Liquidelle stated with a smirk, before returning to the dressing room to try on the other clothes.
With Akane being thankful that the other outfits were less revealing or tight. As she gave her opinion on all of them, while seeing another side of Liquidelle, a more human one.
"Alright, now it's your turn." Said Liquidelle, after trying on the last outfit and picking out which clothes she was getting, before going back to wearing the first outfit, while Akane nodded slowly, before entering the dressing room with her own clothes.
The redhead having never done something like this, before. Given how she had never been big on shopping and didn't really have any friends to go with.
'And isn't that funny. The first time I go out shopping with someone, it's with a demon that was trying to kill me, not even a week ago.' Akane thought with a deadpan expression as she put on one of the outfits, while silently wondering how messed up and strange her life has become.
When Akane came out, she was now wearing black boots with pointed tips, black pants, and a dark purple-grey V-neck. All while Liquidelle looked her over with a thoughtful expression.
"It looks good, but something's missing. Stay there for a moment, I'll be back." Said Liquidelle, before going back out into the store, while Akane looked down at herself.
Going over to the mirror, Akane looked herself over, seeing if the clothes suited her or not. Though when she looked up at her reflection, the redhead gave a short scream and drew her wand again, when she saw the blonde version of herself again.
"Are you alright?" Liquidelle asked, while putting a hand on her shoulder, making the girl jump and point her wand at the Water Demon, who raised her hands in a nonchalant manner.
"Easy, it's just me. Unless you wanted a rematch." Said Liquidelle, while smirking, though she did have worry in her eyes, knowing that she definitely heard Akane scream like she did earlier, in the bathroom.
Breathing heavily, Akane glanced back at her reflection, and saw it was back to normal again.
"N-no, just…just my mind playing tricks on me." Akane muttered as she pocketed her wand again, while mentally wondering if she was finally going insane.
Liquidelle looked at the mirror, frowning, while wondering what has Akane this spooked. Since from what she knew of the girl, she didn't seem like one who was easily scared or freaked out by anything.
"Well…here, I got these for you, they should complete the look." Said Liquidelle, while holding out a pair of sunglasses and a black leather jacket with red streaks resembling claw slashes, along the sleeves and back.
Grabbing the offered items, Akane slipped them on and looked at herself in the mirror, while Liquidelle stood behind her.
"Perfect." Liquidelle stated, pleased at how Akane looked in the outfit.
"It does look really good." Said Akane, admitting that she looked pretty good in the clothes.
Returning to the dressing room, Akane tried on the rest of the outfits and showed them to Liquidelle, while soon finding herself actually enjoying them and picking out several outfits she liked.
Once she was finished, both Akane and Liquidelle gathered what they were getting, while leaving the rest. Though rather than paying, Liquidelle cast a spell on the employees, allowing them to just walk out with what they chose.
"Did you do that, because you didn't bring any money, or because you could?" Akane asked, while raising a brow, making Liquidelle smirk at her.
"The latter. I do have money, as you'd be surprised by the valuables that people throw into the ocean, along with anything I can get from shipwrecks." Said Liquidelle, having amassed a small fortune over the centuries, but she found it more amusing to simply take what she wanted.
Going to a secluded corner, the girls set their bags on the ground as a few Shadowkhan reached out from the shadows and grabbed them, taking the bags back to their room. With that, the two went off to another shop, this one actually surprising Akane, when she saw it was a manga and anime store.
"Now I'm really surprised." Akane stated, definitely not expecting Liquidelle to be interested in manga and anime, not that she's complaining, since she had her own fondness for it.
"Yeah, not something you'd expect a demon to like. But you'd be surprised at the inspiration you can get from this stuff, not to mention it is really fun." Replied Liquidelle, having gotten plenty of inspiration from a few manga and anime for ways to use her powers, even replicating a few attacks, either with water or magic.
This really had Akane's attention, with her being intrigued at the idea of recreating attacks or magic from manga and anime.
'Maybe I should giving it a try.' Akane thought, knowing that was just another thing for her to learn.
With the redhead also planning to learn how to cast spells, without the need to say them out loud, as that'd be a nice surprise for any enemies she may encounter. Seeing how no one would expect her to be able to cast Wandless and Wordless Magic. Along with possibly taking hand-to-hand and weapon-based combat lessons since she didn't want to become reliant on only her magic. Knowing that there's the possibility of encountering someone who could block her from using it, or maybe even take it away. So, Akane would prefer not being rendered helpless by relying on a single form of combat.
"You know, I thought I had you figured out, but you've already surprised me twice, already." Akane stated as they looked through the shelves, while Liquidelle smirked at the redhead.
"Stick around, and you'll see just how surprising I can be." Said Liquidelle, while winking at Akane much to her surprise.
*Later*
After some time and going to a few more shops, along with getting lunch, as the two got to know each other better. Akane and Liquidelle went to the nearby park to go for a walk. Though Liquidelle kept giving Akane looks of concern and saw how the witch's eyes kept darting around nervously. With the redhead having seen her reflection change a couple more times, throughout their shopping spree, and was growing increasingly freaked out.
With Liquidelle knowing something was wrong, despite Akane saying everything was fine. But she wasn't going to force the redhead to tell her, what was wrong. Knowing it wasn't her place to make Akane tell her stuff and would wait for her to tell her herself.
"So, did you have fun?" Liquidelle asked, making Akane look at her and smile shakily.
"Y-yeah, it was really fun hanging out with you, Liquidelle. Though we might want to head back soon, before Shendu and Po Kong get back." Replied Akane, with Liquidelle nodding, doubting her uncle will be pleased to come back and find them gone, especially after having to deal with Po Kong all day.
Though before the two could make their way back to the room, they stopped as five teenagers stepped out from the trees around them. And just going by their attire, Akane and Liquidelle could tell they were a group of delinquents, probably thinking they were easy targets.
"Look at what we found guys, a couple of tourists, that think they can walk around our park." Said one of the teens as they all smirked.
"Your park?" Liquidelle asked in amusement.
"That's right, our park, and foreigners like you aren't allowed here. Unless you pay the fee, like everyone else." Said another teen, with the demon and witch exchanging a look, before looking back at the delinquents.
"A fee? Seriously?" Said Akane, wondering if these guys were serious or just trying to act tough.
"Of course we're serious! Now either pay up, or else!" A third teen said, before their smirks widened as they looked the two up and down.
"Or maybe, you can pay us in another way." Said the fourth, walking up behind the girls and about to put a hand on Akane's shoulder.
Only for the redhead to grab his wrist, before turning around and kicking him right between the legs. Making the teen bend down, squealing in pain at the blow. Though he was soon silenced, when Akane smashed her fist into his face, making him drop to the ground.
"Here's a counter-offer; get the hell out of our way, or you'll be pissing blood." Liquidelle said, smirking, as the remaining teens unconsciously stepped back at seeing the low blow Akane gave their ally before one regained his courage and pulled out a switchblade.
"You bitches just lost your tongues for that." Said the teen, before rushing towards them with his knife.
All while Liquidelle watched him boredly, waiting until the last moment, before stepping out of the away of his knife. With the Water Demon then slamming her knee into his gut, making the delinquent double over in pain. The demon then grabbed his knife from his hand, and brought her elbow down on his neck, sending him to the ground unconscious.
She then threw the knife, handle first, at the third teen. Hitting him in the forehead, and sending him stumbling back, dazed. With Akane rushing forward and jumping into the air, delivering a kick straight to his head. Which also knocked him into a tree before he hit the ground. With one of the remaining two delinquents rushing Akane from behind, only for Liquidelle to kick his legs out from under him. Before she brought her leg down on the back of his head, taking him out as well.
"So, you wanna take a shot too?" Liquidelle asked, smirking as she and Akane looked at the remaining delinquent, who was shaking and looking at them with wide eyes, upon seeing how quickly they took down the others.
Knowing he outmatched, the teen turned to run, only for Liquidelle to launch a water tendril at him. Wrapping it around his legs, before swinging him into a tree.
"Now to finish them." Said Liquidelle, wanting to take care of them permanently, with Akane's eyes widening at this, before getting in front of the demon.
"Uh, maybe let's not do that." Akane said, knowing that while she's become desensitized to death and killing, that didn't mean she could bring herself to personally kill someone.
"Why not? They ruined our day and even dared to think they could touch us. Besides, we can just cover it up with our magic" Said Liquidelle, while frowning, with Akane thankfully having the perfect excuse for it.
"Yeah, maybe. But I doubt Shendu would be very happy with us, just by fighting them. If he learns we used magic too, he definitely won't be happy." Akane said, with Liquidelle sighing, but nodded, knowing she was right, since Shendu would prefer them to keep a low profile and not attract any unwanted attention.
"Fine, let's get back to the hotel." Said Liquidelle, with Akane nodding in agreement, as they left the unconscious delinquents and exited the park to head back to the hotel.
"Naruko-chan?"
Akane immediately froze and her eyes widened at hearing the name, not sure why she somehow knew the person was speaking to her. With Liquidelle noticing the sudden change in her behavior before they looked to see who spoke.
It was a girl Akane's age, with pale skin, long black hair with a blue tint, with parts held up in twin tails while the rest flowed down her back, and dark colored eyes. With her attire consisting of blue sandals, black leggings, a short white skirt, and a navy blue turtleneck.
With the girl looking at Akane with wide, hopeful eyes.
"What did you call me?" Akane said lowly, while feelings dull ache in the back of her head, as if she was trying to remember something, but couldn't.
"It really is you, isn't it Naruko." Said the girl walking forward.
"…Satsuki-chan?" Said Akane, somehow knowing the girl's name, while Satsuki smiled at hearing this.
"It is you." Satsuki said, before rushing forward and hugging Akane tightly, much to her shock, while Liquidelle looked on with narrowed eyes, now knowing something else was going on.
*With Shendu and Po Kong*
Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Shendu could only look over at the ever growing pile of dishes and Po Kong in annoyance. The Dragon idly glancing around the restaurant, seeing all the other patrons had long since left, after getting too disgusted by how much his sister was eating, and showing no sign of stopping.
'Or perhaps they were just disgusted by her.' Shendu thought, while looking at his sister and admitted that she really could have chosen a better human form.
Po Kong had taken the appearance of a fat, old granny. The really ugly kind, that are depicted as antagonists in pop culture, usually as abusive relatives, or caretakers. While wearing a green sundress, with images of rock fragments around it.
Shendu had to admit, it was rather revolting, even more so with how much she was eating.
"Bring me more!" Demanded Po Kong, after finishing her plate, with Shendu having long since lost track of how much she's already eaten.
Sighing, the Fire Demon glanced outside and narrowed his eyes, when he caught sight of someone. Someone, he knew has been following him and the others for the past few days. He wasn't sure for what purpose, and only held back from sending the Shadowkhan after them, since he hasn't sensed any ill intent from them. But that didn't mean Shendu would tolerate anyone following him for some unknown purpose.
Seeing the person walk down an alley. Shendu stood up, intent to find out who they are.
"I'll be getting some air, sister. Do avoid trying to eat the staff." Shendu warned, with Po Kong giving a grunt as she focused on her newest meal.
Exiting the restaurant, Shendu turned invisible and walked down the alley, that the person went down. Before smirking, when he found them standing there, as if they waiting for someone. Showing they had allowed themselves to be seen and were trying to lure him out.
The person was in fact a woman with long, straight black hair, with bangs hanging on both sides of her face, roughly framing her cheeks, pale skin, and dark black eyes. While her attire consisted of a dark purple blouse, a dark purple skirt, and blue sandals.
Not wasting a moment, Shendu grabbed the woman by her throat and slammed her against the wall. Before revealing himself, as several Shadowkhan appeared around them.
"Now woman, you are going to tell me who you are and why you've been following us, or you will be reduced to ashes." Shendu said with flames escaping his mouth, as the woman gasped and grabbed his wrist.
Shendu felt a sudden heat from her hands, realizing she was a witch and trying to burn him. Though when he tightened his grip on her throat, she stopped, knowing how easily he could kill her.
"Speak or die." Demanded Shendu, while loosening his grip to let her speak.
"M-Mi-Mi-Mikoto U-Uch-Uchiha. I-I s-sa-saw t-th-the gi-girl y-you we-were wi-with. I-I kn-know her." Mikoto gasped, with Shendu frowning at this, knowing she must mean his Familiar, before dropping her, with Mikoto eagerly breathing in air and rubbing her throat.
"And how do you know her?" Shendu said, while narrowing his eyes.
"She…she looks different…but I would recognize her anywhere…she's my goddaughter, Naruko Namikaze." Said Mikoto, with Shendu's eyes narrowing further at this new information, along with the confirmation that Akane was originally from Japan.
But he wanted to test this woman, before revealing anything.
"Well I'm sorry to disappoint, but the girl's name is Akane Uzumaki from Britain." Shendu stated, while Mikoto's eyes widened before she scowled.
"Those bastards, they actually sent her there, after what they've done already." Said Mikoto, angry to hear just where her goddaughter was sent.
"Who and what are you talking about?" Asked Shendu, upon seeing there is a lot he's missing.
"The bastards that sent Naruko to Britain, they're also the reason her parents are dead." Mikoto revealed.
"Wh-what?"
Shendu and Mikoto's head snapped towards the alley entrance to see Akane, Liquidelle, and Satsuki standing there. With Akane's eyes being wide open at what she just heard.
"What did you just say?" Akane asked as she felt her head spinning.
*Later*
Akane, Liquidelle, and Shendu sat across from Mikoto and Satsuki, having learned they're mother and daughter. With the group returning to the hotel for a more private setting, though not before Shendu left several Shadowkhan to keep an eye on his sister. Since they didn't want her to try to eat their guests.
"Now, explain how you two know my Familiar." Shendu demanded.
"Her name is Naruko!" Satsuki exclaimed, while glaring at Shendu, only for Mikoto to put a hand on her shoulder, knowing it wouldn't be wise to anger an unknown, like him.
"We know her because she was born here. Her parents are Minato Namikaze the Head of the Namikaze Clan and Kushina Uzumaki the Head of the Uzumaki Clan. Kushina and I were best friends growing up, so much so that I was picked as Naruko's godmother and Kushina was picked as Satsuki's. We always came over to let the girls play together, happy that they were so close." Mikoto explained as the mother and daughter smiled at Akane, who looked away, unable to look at either of them.
"Interesting story. Care to explain then how she ended up halfway across the world, and is now known as Akane Uzumaki?" Liquidelle asked, while crossing her arms, having doubts that they were telling the truth.
"Her parents were betrayed." Said Mikoto as her expression turned into a dark and sad one.
"Betrayed?" Akane asked quietly.
"Yes, by two people they thought they could trust, only for them to stab them in the back. Jiraiya and Tsunade Senju, your father's old mentor and a distant relative of your mother, due to the connection between the Uzumaki and Senju Clans." Mikoto answered.
"And how did they betray her parents?" Said Shendu, while narrowing his eyes, with Mikoto looking down and clenching her fists, before looking up.
"It happened not long before Naruko was born. Jiraiya had been the spymaster for the Namikaze Clan and was meant to report any major conflicts or attacks against the clans. But due to the constant time of "peace" and lack of major conflicts in Japan, he grew lazy, greedy, and lustful. Resulting in him becoming lax in his responsibilities, as one thing you need to know about Jiraiya, is that he's a giant pervert that only really cares about anything with breasts or that he can stick his dick into. While using his status to sleep with anyone, he wants. It soon got to the point that Minato and the higher-ups in the clan revoked his position after an incident had occurred, that could have been prevented if he had done his job. Which lead to him betraying them, in order to get the resources he wants to feed his vices, having absolutely no interest in any responsibilities." Mikoto explained.
"And where does this Senju woman fit in?" Questioned Liquidelle.
"Tsunade is regarded as one of the best Medi-Witches in the world, or at least she used to be. It was after the incident, that several people were wounded with many of them being fatal, resulting in them summoning Tsunade to help heal them. Only for her to ignore the summons, as like Jiraiya, Tsunade is more interested in feeding her gambling and drinking vices, than having actual responsibilities. Along with drowning herself in self-pity, after the death of her brother and lover in past conflicts. This led to many members of the Namikaze and Uzumaki Clans dying, while others were left permanently crippled without proper healing. Leading to her being cut off from the Uzumaki Clan funds, due to having already wasted the Senju Clan's funds. Resulting in Tsunade betraying them as well to feed her vices." Said Mikoto, as Liquidelle scowled angry at what these humans did that cost Akane her family.
While Shendu shook his head, seeing just how low humans would go to satisfy their own greed.
"And how did they go about betraying them?" Shendu asked.
"They couldn't do it directly since they'd be the obvious suspects. So instead, they made a deal with remnants of the Death Eaters in Britain, after Voldemort's defeat. Convincing them to kill Minato and Kushina, along with the rest of their families, after telling them about some magical artifact that's been in Kushina's family for generations. Something, that the Death Eaters believed they could use to bring back their master, but they never found it, thankfully. But they still attacked and killed them, along with everyone else, due to the two clans' weakened state. We had originally thought that Naruko died with them, only to learn that wasn't the case. Before contacting the Death Eaters, Jiraiya and Tsunade had gone to Minato and Kushina, tricking them into believing they were sorry and felt terrible about what they didn't do. Telling them that they wish to make amends, while using their past ties to convince Minato and Kushina to give them a chance. They had offered to look after Naruko to give Minato and Kushina some time to themselves, only for it to all be a trick. They intended to use Naruko to take her family's fortune for themselves and use her as a shield, should any suspicions fall on them. Only for that to fail apparently, since she's been in Britain all this time, and called Akane Uzumaki." Mikoto explained, as Akane shook at hearing all this.
"And how do you know all this?" Said Liquidelle, while narrowing her eyes in suspicion.
"My late husband, Fugaku, was the Head of the Uchiha Clan and in charge of the Military Police Force in Magical Japan. He had always been suspicious of Minato and Kushina's deaths, as well as the attack itself, before looking into the case with our son, Itachi. Who was on the Police Force, as well. But when they had gotten too close to the truth, Jiraiya and Tsunade bribed another of our clansmen, Yashiro Uchiha, to…to silence them and the rest of their allies on the case. With Yashiro not only taking over the Police Force, but also managing to make himself the Uchiha Clan Head, with the help of his allies and bribing key members in the Uchiha Clan. Leading to me and Satsuki leaving along with Izumi Uchiha, the only Uchiha that hadn't been killed or became corrupt. We eventually found the evidence that Fugaku and Itachi had gathered, but there was nothing we could do to take Jiraiya and Tsunade down. They had full access to the Namikaze and Uzumaki fortunes to bribe anyone they wanted and had the Police Force on their side. And we couldn't take the evidence to a different Magical Country, since none of them would care about the crimes committed in another country." Mikoto said, while looking down, angry and saddened that there was nothing she could do to get justice for her deceased friends, husband, and son, with Satsuki hugging her mother, also sad and angry at what happened.
Suddenly, Akane got up and ran out the door, with Liquidelle and Satsuki moving to chase after her, only for Shendu to stop them.
"Don't, if you approach her now, there's no guarantee you'll live with the state she's currently in." Shendu said, knowing with his Familiar's current state of mind, there's no telling how she'll lash out.
*With Akane*
Akane didn't stop running once she was out of the hotel, she ran through the streets and crowds, while pushing past anyone or anything in her way. With the witch finding herself having trouble breathing as memories flooded her head. Memories of a life, she didn't remember, parents that she was forced to forget, and the two people who took everything from her!
Suddenly, the redhead tripped as she saw she was in the middle of a park, as tears fell from her eyes and she grabbed her head in pain, as Mikoto's words echoed in her head.
"…her parents are Minato Namikaze the Head of the Namikaze Clan and Kushina Uzumaki the Head of the Uzumaki Clan…"
"Her parents were betrayed."
"…made a deal with remnants of the Death Eaters…"
"…use Naruko to take her family's fortune…"
"…nothing we could do to take Jiraiya and Tsunade down."
"Naruko Namikaze."
"Betrayed."
"Used."
"Dead."
"Stupid orphan brat."
"Erase her memories."
Akane grabbed her head tightly, before she let out a scream of pure rage, hatred, anger, despair, and pain. The scream being accompanied by dozens of red chains bursting out of her back and lashing out at everything around her, destroying the surrounding area.
When Akane finally stopped screaming, she raised her head, panting with rage and vengeance shining in her eyes. With the girl glancing at her Adamantine Attacking Chains, remembering that they were the incomplete form of her mother's Adamantine Sealing Chains.
Thinking about her mother, Akane clenched her fists hard enough to draw blood.
"I'm gonna make them pay." Akane swore, swearing that she will make Jiraiya and Tsunade suffer for what they took from her.
"And they shall." Said Shendu, with Akane looking at the disguised demon and saw him smirking wickedly.
And for once, Akane returned the smirk.
*Later-With Jiraiya and Tsunade*
In one of few casino's in Magical Japan, one would find Jiraiya and Tsunade, along with the latter's "assistant", Shizune. With Jiraiya being at the bar and Tsunade at the slot machines, neither of them having any concern for the money they were wasting away. While not even having an ounce of regret for how they stole the money, after selling out Minato and Kushina. Then sending their daughter to the other side of the planet, with no memories of her family or even who she is.
As far as they were concerned, they simply took what belonged to them, Jiraiya for his "service" as the Namikaze spymaster and Tsunade to help "heal" from the pain of her brother and lover's deaths.
Shizune stood beside Tsunade, secretly sending her looks of disgust, knowing exactly what she and Jiraiya had done. She had been disgusted and horrified that they were willingly to betray Minato and Kushina in such a way, then take everything from Naruko, including her memories. Shizune had even tried convincing to not go through the betrayal, that they could actually try to earn Minato and Kushina's forgiveness, only for her pleas to fall on deaf ears.
When it had happened, she had then tried to go to the Police Force, only to be stopped by the two. With Tsunade threatening to sell her around like a whore, to whoever paid the most, if she said so much as a word of what happened. With it not helping that Jiraiya was practically undressing her with his eyes, which Shizune could still see him do, and it always made her shiver in disgust.
Even worse, was that Shizune couldn't even try to get away from them, knowing she wouldn't get far. Especially with Tsunade's threats hanging over her.
"Shizune! Get make more sake!" Tsunade demanded, pulling Shizune from her thoughts.
"Right away Tsunade-sama." Said Shizune, before turning to head to the bar, while shaking her head, wondering how her uncle Dan could have ever loved a woman like her.
Reaching the bar, Shizune frowned when she saw Jiraiya there, speaking with a green haired girl. One that seemed to willingly be flirting with him, while either ignorant or ignoring his eyes trailing up and down her body. Only to be confused, when the girl actually began leading Jiraiya outside, with Shizune sighing. Feeling pity for the poor girl, before going to get Tsunade's sake.
Returning to the slot machines, Shizune suddenly gasped when she saw Tsunade unconscious on the ground, with Shendu standing over her. With her gasp making disguised Dragon look at her with narrowed eyes.
"If you were wise girl, you'd forget what you saw." Shendu said, with Shizune looking at Tsunade's unconscious body, before her eyes widened, realizing that the girl flirting with Jiraiya was luring him into a trap.
"Who sent you?" Shizune asked, hopeful that Jiraiya and Tsunade will finally get what they deserve, while Shendu raised a brow at the question.
"The same girl these humans betrayed." Stated Shendu, with Shizune's eyes widening further at this.
'Naruko is back?' Shizune thought, even more pleased that Naruko will be the one to punish them.
"Can I come with you?" Shizune asked, wanting to see them finally get what they deserve.
*With Akane*
Meanwhile, Akane walked through the empty halls of her family's old home, taking in its current decrepit state, far from the pristine manor she remembered from her childhood. The others were downstairs in the entry hall, setting everything up for when Shendu and Liquidelle return with the traitors.
As she walked through the manor, Akane felt more memories come to her. All the times she's spent here with her parents, with Satsuki and her family, she remembered all of it. With the redhead practically seeing them play out before her eyes, while her reflection in every surface was her old blonde appearance. And with each memory, her anger grew as she thought over exactly what she was going to do to Jiraiya and Tsunade.
"Kaa-chan, Tou-san look what Auntie Mikoto taught me!" Naruko said, while rushing up to her parents and showing them a small flame in her hands, with the two smiling at their daughter.
"Way to go Naru-chan! Keep this up and you'll be a kickass witch, like me!" Said Kushina, while grinning proudly at her daughter, knowing she'll grow up to be powerful.
"Maybe, but how about focusing on your studies first." Minato said, believing magic is only as powerful as the mind of those who wield it.
"Aaah, but that's boring!" Naruko whined, not liking books.
Akane grit her teeth and squeezed her eyes shut at the memories. Though, she wouldn't deny the irony that she used to hate studying and book smarts, only to later be sorted into Ravenclaw and excel in it.
"I got these for you, happy birthday Satsuki." Said Naruko smiling as she gave her friend her gift, with Satsuki opening it and smiled when she saw them.
"Wow, they're really pretty." Satsuki said, upon seeing two black ribbons with the Uzumaki Clan symbol on one, and the Uchiha Clans symbol on the other, both at the center of the ribbons.
"This way we'll always be together, no matter where we are." Naruko stated, before the two girls hugged each other.
Grabbing her head, Akane breathed heavily as things around her began vibrating from her magic.
"Do I have to go?" Naruko asked, holding her mother's hand, while looking at Jiraiya and Tsunade warily, as even with the smiles on their faces, the little girl got a bad feeling from them.
"It's not forever, just for one day." Assured Kushina, personally not wanting her daughter near those two, but she was at least willing to give them a second chance, with some convincing from Minato making her agree.
"Yeah, we'll come get you tomorrow." Minato added, with Naruko looking between the two, before nodding slowly.
With the whiskered blonde giving her parents one last look, as she was taken away.
Akane eye's snapped open as she drew her wand and whirled around, after hearing a sudden sound that pulled her out of the memories. Hearing it again, Akane slowly went towards where it was coming from, soon arriving at a closed door. With the girl pushing it open, only to let a shuddered breath when she saw it was her old room, with it looking exactly the same.
Going over to the nightstand, Akane grabbed the dusty picture and wiped away the dust, showing her and her parents. Looking at the picture, Akane's body began shaking, before cleaning the rest of the dust and grime away, before putting it in her pocket. Mentally commanding the Razor Khan and Samurai Khan to collect everything that's still here and take it to her room, back in Hogwarts. Refusing to leave anything behind.
Hearing the sound again, Akane realized it was coming from under her old bed, with the redhead getting on her hands and knees to look under it, only to see red eyes glaring at her from the darkness. With Akane's eyes widening in surprise, before she smiled and held out a hand.
"Kurama, I didn't think you'd still be here." Akane said, as the red eyes softened slightly before a red-orange blur darted out from under the bed and into her arms.
The blur revealed to be a fox with nine tails, crimson red slitted eyes, and long rabbit-like ears with a black interior that stretched down to around its eyes.
"Yeah, it's good to see you too." Akane said, before petting Kurama, only for the fox to smack her hand away with a tail.
"I'm not a dog or cat, that you can pet." Said Kurama, with Akane not being surprised that the kitsune could speak.
Kurama had been her mother's Familiar, with Kushina being possibly the only witch to gain a Kyūbi as her Familiar. With Akane remembering playing with the kitsune when she was younger, not believing it was still here or that it was still alive. Though in hindsight, Akane shouldn't be surprised, as from what her mother told her, kitsune are practically immortal. Along with how they are genderless by default, but can gain one and change it at will, thanks to their ability to Shapeshift.
But even when it became bound to Kushina, Kurama was a rather unique Familiar in that it often chose to ignore anything Kushina asked it to do, preferring to lay around and sleep all day. But Akane knew no matter how many times her mother and Kurama butted heads, the kitsune was still loyal.
"What happened?" Asked Akane, with Kurama growling as it remembered what happened that day.
"That old bitch and perverted fucker sealed me away, when they took you, making sure I was helpless to kill those masked dumbasses when they showed up. By the time I was able to free myself, they were already long gone, with everyone dead and you missing." Kurama answered, angry at those two and itself for letting itself be caught off guard by two humans.
"Then why are you still here?" Akane questioned, wondering why Kurama hadn't just left.
"I couldn't save your family or you, so the least I could have done is protect this place from anyone that would have shown up to steal anything. I was always waiting until the day you would return." Replied Kurama, knowing that Akane would eventually come back and wanted to be here, when she returned.
"Thanks buddy." Said Akane, smiling at the kitsune, before she was confused when Kurama jumped out of her arms and rushed out of the room.
Akane went to follow Kurama, seeing he was leading her somewhere in the manor, eventually being taken out to the backyard with Kurama sitting in front of a large statue of the Uzumaki Clan's symbol.
"The Three-Toed Sign of the Dragon." Akane muttered, having always been confused at the symbol.
Having asked her mother about it once, before learning it was the symbol that their ancestor, along with his close allies, were given as a reward for defeating a powerful demon that threatened the land. With the Uzumaki Clan taking it as their crest, after their ancestor's family married into the magic family.
"Yeah, but this isn't your family's true symbol." Stated Kurama, before pressing a loose brick pushing it in.
Then to Akane's shock, the statue began rotating until it was upside down. Now being a symbol that Akane was more than familiar with.
"The Shredder." Akane muttered in shock, with her shock only growing when the statue sunk into the ground.
Looking down the now revealed hidden tunnel, as Akane saw a spiral staircase leading down, with the girl proceeding down the stairs, followed by Kurama.
'Did Kaa-chan and Tou-san know about this? Did one of them know about it? Why is this even here?' Akane wondered as she went lower and lower down the stairs, until she reached the bottom, where she found a door decorated with the red emblem of the Foot Clan.
Putting a hand on the door, Akane jumped back when it suddenly split open and began opening up for her. With the sight inside shocking the girl, as standing before her was a gigantic chamber with an equally large statue of the Shredder himself, raising his left gauntlet into the air. While in the center of the chamber was a pedestal, where a gauntlet with two blades rested it in front of a very familiar helmet.
"The Shredder's gauntlet and Kuro Kabuto." Said Akane, amazed to see the original Shredder's gauntlet and helmet here of all places before it suddenly clicked for her.
"Kaa-chan's family, my family, they were descended from…the Shredder. I'm the descendant of the Shredder." Akane said, realizing why and how this was here, along with realizing that the magical artifact Jiraiya and Tsunade had told the Death Eaters about, was the gauntlet and helmet.
"Yes. Kushina told me her family's true history, in the event she never got the chance to tell you, herself. The Uzumaki Clan didn't marry into the Shredder's family, they were the Shredder's family. After his defeat, they had gone into hiding, eventually returning as the Uzumaki Clan, going all the way down to Kushina marrying Minato, the descendant of Hamato Yoshi, the man who defeated the Shredder." Kurama revealed, shocking Akane even further, that she wasn't only the direct descendant of the Shredder, but also the man who had slain the Shedder as well.
"Why are you telling me all this now?" Akane asked, having enough difficulty coming to terms with her past life, only to now have all this added on top of it, as well.
"You know why." Stated Kurama, while looking up at the Shredder's statue, with Akane looking up at it as well, feeling as if it was now looking directly at her.
Looking at the gauntlet and helmet, Akane slowly reached out and grabbed it, before slipping it onto her left hand, gasping as she felt a sudden rush of power course through her veins. As her eyes briefly glowed red, before returning to their normal purple color.
Akane looked at the gauntlet in amazement before her expression darkened and she clenched her fist.
'They wanted it so badly, then they can have it.' Akane thought, before grabbing the Kuro Kabuto, as she and Kurama exited the chamber.
*Later*
Jiraiya and Tsunade groaned as they began waking up from their forced slumber, before snapping awake when they found they couldn't move or access their magic. With the two looking around, only to see Shendu, Liquidelle, Po Kong, Mikoto, Satsuki, Izumi, and Shizune surrounding them.
"Good, you're both awake, then we can get started." Someone said, getting their attention before Akane stepped into the light.
"Who the hell do you think you are brat?! You do know who I-GAH!" Tsunade shouted, only to scream in pain when Akane backhanded her across the face.
"I know exactly who you are Senju, a worthless traitor that'd sell her own mother for some cheap booze. And you're going to shut the fuck up and listen, or the next hit will be with this." Akane said, before holding up her left hand as the blades glinting in the light, making the two pale and gulp at seeing they were helpless to do anything.
"L-look, wh-whoever you are, I'm sure we can come to an arrangement. What is you want? We can get you anything you desire." Jiraiya said, with Akane narrowing her eyes at him in barely suppressed anger.
"Can you get me my parents back? Can you get me back the life I lost? Can you get me back everything you both stole from me?!" Shouted Akane, while glaring at them murderously, as Jiraiya and Tsunade's eyes widened in realization and horror.
"N-Na-Naruko." Stuttered Tsunade, terrified that the girl they sent away was now back and they were now at her nonexistent mercy.
"Surprised? I'm sure you both didn't think to ever see me again. But here I am, and right now, I have only thing I want to hear from either of you." Said Akane, while narrowing her eyes before she reached into her expanded bag and pulled out a crowbar, with the redhead wanting this to be more personal than just using magic on them.
"Wa-wait! J-just hold on a second, please! We-we can ta-ta-talk this out! I-if it's your money you want, you can have it back! J-just let u-us g-go and w-we'll te-tell you where it is!" Jiraiya shouted desperately, with Tsunade rapidly nodding in agreement.
"Too late. My friend here has a very special ability, that lets him look into the minds of others, while they're unconscious. He's already found where you kept my money, along with who you sold off any of my family's artifacts and belongings to and has people in the process of taking it all back." Akane said, having asked Shendu to find out where they kept what they stole from her, as she had no interest in interrogating them, only hearing them squeal.
"Be thankful the girl is the one who gets to punish you. If I had my way, you suffering would last an eternity or until your minds finally shattered, leaving both of you drooling messes." Shendu said smirking, having made his own suggestions for what Akane could do them.
"Tell me about it. I offer to give her the perfect torture methods and she just brushes them off. Honestly, humans today are so squeamish with torture." Said Kurama, with the disguised Dragon nodding in agreement.
"Agreed, it's so disappointing that the more fun and old ways are ignored for something as boring as waterboarding, starvation, or simply beating them." Stated Shendu, remembering the times when torture was also a death sentence.
Akane looked at them both, getting annoyed with the interruptions, since while she wanted to hurt them both, she also wasn't interested in such torture methods. And besides, they took her life, so she gets to decide how they die.
Plus, some of the methods they suggested were just flat out disturbing and disgusting. With Akane being certain that she wouldn't touch those ones with a ten-inch pole, even when she gets more used to torturing others.
"Now then, where were we." Said Akane, before swinging the crowbar at Jiraiya's jaw, while hearing a sweet cracking sound and saw some teeth go flying out of his mouth.
Then she went to Tsunade, before bringing it down on her shoulder repeatedly until it completely shattered, with the Senju's screams being music to her ears. Back to Jiraiya, Akane hooked the crowbar under his left leg while stepping down on it, before forcefully lifting it up, and snapping it in half. Before proceeding to do the same to his other leg, as the old man screamed in complete agony.
Akane then simply began beating them repeatedly with her weapon, not stopping, no matter how much they begged or how many bones she heard break.
"Tell me, how does that feel? Is it the same pain my parents experienced before they died? The same pain I suffered when you took my life from me?" Akane demanded, while glaring at them in pure hatred.
"N-Na-Nar-AH!" Tsunade screamed, when Akane swung the crowbar at her head again.
"Shut. The fuck. Up. And don't ever call me that name again! Naruko Namikaze had died with her parents, years ago! My name…is Akane Uzumaki, the Familiar of the Demon Sorcerer of Fire, Shendu. And now, it's time you died." Akane said, now fully accepting her place as Shendu's Familiar and keeping her identity as Akane Uzumaki.
Shendu smirked at this, before lifting Tsunade into the air towards an Iron Maiden, much to the woman's horror.
"NO! No, no, no, no, NO! Don't put me in there, please!" Tsunade begged, only for it to fall on deaf ears.
"Don't worry, it won't kill you instantly. A swift death is too good for you." Said Akane as Tsunade was placed in the Iron Maiden, before it was slammed shut, as the Senju screamed in complete agony from the spikes stabbing into her body.
"While you can't see it, there's an opening right above your head, I had that put in there for this next part." Akane said as a barrel of sake floated over the Iron Maiden, before it began tilting and poured the contents inside, with Tsunade's screams increasing tenfold at the burning sensation.
Screams that only increased in volume, when another barrel filled with salt was poured in as well. With Tsunade being unable to do anything but scream herself hoarse. As she felt the sake and salt mix together and flow into her open wounds, before spreading throughout her body.
"You took my family's money to get your drinking money, well now you get to drown in it." Said Akane as Tsunade's screams faded into drowned out gurgles before those to eventually stopped.
Though that wasn't the end, as a cauldron floated over next, this time pouring hot, molten gold into the Iron Maiden.
"And now, you'll get all the money you want." Akane stated, before turning her attention back to Jiraiya, who was shivering in fear and horror.
"As for you, you wanted money to pay your whores. Well, let's see how you get any, without anything to use." Said Akane, while raising her gauntlet up, before swinging it down right between Jiraiya's legs, cutting off his manhood and balls, much to his pain and despair.
"He's yours now." Akane said to Po Kong, while stepping back, with the Mountain Demon stepped forward, licking her lips.
"Good, cause watching all that has made me hungry." Said Po Kong, as Jiraiya's horror increased a hundredfold at the sight of the fat, old, ugly granny.
With it only getting worse when she grabbed his severed genitals and promptly ate them.
"Mmm, those are always the best part. Always so squishing and chewy, making for a nice snack before the main course." Po Kong said, while grinning darkly as she grabbed Jiraiya and lifted him up, before biting into his shoulder.
"How does it feel, knowing that will be the last woman to ever touch you, before you die." Akane asked as she and the others smirked at the sight, since she couldn't help but rub salt in the wound.
Jiraiya's screamed echoing throughout the manor, as he was devoured piece of by piece by Po Kong, the man's horror only growing with each bite she took. With Jiraiya unsure on what was worse, being eaten alive or being eaten alive by such a fat and ugly, old woman.
It wasn't long until Jiraiya's screams faded, as Po Kong continued eating the rest of him, until not even the bones were left.
Seeing both her parent's betrayers were now dead, Akane silently walked over to Shendu, while Kurama jumped onto her shoulder. With the group wordlessly leaving the manor with Shendu, Liquidelle, and Po Kong assuming their true forms. Before they were lifted into the air and shot off towards Hogwarts.
*Later*
It wasn't long until the now larger group arrived back at Hogwarts, where they were met by the Enforcers.
"Yo, Shendu! We got the books you sent us to-" Finn said, only stopping short as the Enforcers' eyes widened, when they saw Akane covered in blood from when she was beating Jiraiya and Tsunade.
With the redhead wordlessly walking past the four and into the castle to get cleaned up.
"Uh boss…what happened to the kid?" Asked Chow, once Akane was out of earshot, as Shendu merely smirked as he watched his Familiar leave.
"Revenge."
*Section 13*
Meanwhile, within the hidden base of Section 13, Captain Black and Tohru were hard at work as they tried to locate Jade, with the help of Viper.
"Have you found anything on Jade's location?" Viper asked, worried for were Jade was, having immediately made a beeline for San Francisco after learning what happened to Jackie and Uncle.
"No, after Shendu showed up, we headed straight for Pamplona to find Jade, but she was nowhere to be found. I've sent dozens of teams, but they haven't found any sign of her." Black said sadly, hating that he's failing his old friend by being unable to protect his niece.
"Jade was always good at hiding and escaping." Said Tohru, while looking down, as he remembered all the times she was able to slip away with no one noticing.
"Yeah, she really is." Viper muttered, while hoping that wherever Jade was, she was safe.
*Bhutan*
Unknown to the three, while Jade was safe, the place she was currently in most certainly was not.
As Jade had somehow made her way to the Bhutanese wilderness, where she found a large dark tower on a hill. A tower that was the base of the Dark Chi Wizard, Daolon Wong. With Daolon Wong having taken Jade in as his apprentice, after seeing she had a rare affinity for Dark Chi Magic.
Though when he learned of her desire for revenge against Shendu for the death Jackie Chan and his old enemy, Uncle. Daolon Wong had considered getting rid of her, since he had no desire to enter a conflict with the Demon Sorcerers. Knowing no amount of magic would be a match for them, but he decided to humor Jade and continue training her, when she showed that she was also a prodigy in magic.
"Well done Jade, you are coming along well. Though it is a shame your uncles never allowed you to begin learning magic. If they had, perhaps they might still be alive, rather than ashes in the wind. Instead, they decided to keep you locked away, for your "safety"." Daolon Wong said, after seeing Jade successfully cast another spell, before the girl scowled at him.
"Jackie and Uncle did want to keep me safe! It's my fault if I was in danger by always following them!" Retorted Jade, knowing Jackie and Uncle only wanted to keep her away from danger.
"Of course, of course. They wanted you safe and guarded, like a glass doll to be locked away. Though, are you sure that it's wasn't due to them also being afraid of your potential. After all, we both know how quick you were to kill Shendu with his own Dragon Talisman, without a second thought." Stated Daolon Wong, smirking as he could just see the cracks forming in Jade's psyche, that would continue to grow over time.
On if she should avenge Jackie and Uncle or hate them for coddling and holding her back. And it will certainly be entertaining for him to watch and see what his apprentice will do.
So, what did you think, good. Yep it looks like being in Japan is starting to awaken some old memories for Akane, before she and Liquidelle spend the day together along with dealing with some delinquents, before meeting someone that recognizes Akane, but calls her a different name. We then cut to Shendu and Po Kong, with the latter basically eating anything not on two legs, while the Dragon hunts down an unwanted follower, revealed to be Mikoto Uchiha who also recognized Akane. We then get Akane's backstory and learn she was in fact Naruko Namikaze, daughter of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, until they were betrayed by Jiraiya and Tsunade (if you don't like that, too bad), so they could steal their fortunes, while taking away Naruko's memories and sending her to Britain as Akane Uzumaki. Leading to Akane running away where she awakens her Adamantine Attacking Chains while swearing revenge against the two. Then we see Jiraiya and Tsunade happily wasting away the money they stole, with Shizune silently expressing her disgust, but knows there's nothing she can do, before she sees Shendu and Liquidelle grabbing the traitors and desires to go with them to see Akane get her revenge. Then we see Akane looking through her old home and all the memories she had there, before finding a surprising old friend, her mother's Familiar Kurama, before getting another surprise as she learns she's the descendant of the Shredder on her mother's side and Hamato Yoshi, the man who defeated the Shredder, on her father's side. With the girl claiming her ancestors gauntlet and Kuro Kabuto as her own, before going to deal with the traitors, first beating them mercilessly, wanting to personally attack them, before giving them karmic deaths as punishment for their respective greed and lust. With the group then heading to Hogwarts, with Akane having now fully embraced her identity as Akane Uzumaki and as Shendu's Familiar.
Then it's another surprise as we see Jade has gone missing with Section 13 hard at work trying to find her. With it revealed Jade has become the apprentice of Daolon Wong to get revenge against Shendu for Jackie and Uncle's deaths, only for the Dark Chi Wizard to manipulate Jade and begin questioning if she should avenge them or hate them.
