Here we go! District 6 is first because they were the first pair I had and I was ready to get going!

"Alright Buzz, I gotta let you go, I have a new fare. Hey! Hey now! Maybe I'll invite YOUR mother over to our pad next, eh?"
I chuckled as I hung up on my best friend and future roommate, Buzz Treadwell. Of course I didn't mean any of what I said to him, it was just some light teasing. I'd see him tomorrow if we went out dancing and got into trouble, and he'd definitely have a retort of his own waiting for me.
I grinned as I pulled over to the train station. As much as I loved bantering with Buzz, work came first and could often be just as fun. A new train had pulled in not 5 minutes ago, and that meant loads of new customers and loads of potential new friends.
My door flew open and in stepped a human sized bird of paradise. On second glance, it was a young woman, no more than 5 years older than me. She was dressed head to toe in a orange dress, designed to poof out like feathers in all directions, and she had a gradient sunset eyeshadow to match. I LOVED her immediately.
As I turned to greet her, she shrieked.
"Oh my god! I LOVE your smoky eye! Such a charming look and you look sooo cute! You districters are my favorite! You're all so adorable!"
I split open a huge smile from ear to ear and began pulling myself into character. As we pulled away from the curb and into the pandemonium of District 6, Wyverna introduced herself as a Capitolite and explained that she was in town to visit her boyfriend, a peacekeeper on assignment in the district.
"Well Wyverna, welcome to Cab's Cab! I'm Cab and I'll be driving your cab today! I'm your officially licensed guide to all things District 6!" I announced as I turned back to her in excitement.
HOOONKKKK!
Wyverna shrieked and I swerved as a massive pickup truck announced itself to me and flew right past. I breathed a sigh of relief and my grin returned as she cackled with excitement in the backseat.
Domenica Screen - District 6, 16 years old
Sometimes life can give you a tough draw. Your parents might get killed in a factory accident when you're 12 years old. Your already poor family could be left without the two primary breadwinners of the family. You have two choices when that happens. You can withdraw from yourself and become cynical, or you can try to find things which show you the bright side.
When my parents died 4 years ago, my sister and I had no choice but to band together to support each other. Stella's five years older than me, so most of the burden fell on her to support the two of us.
An older gentleman passing by stooped over to dump some change into my guitar case. He kept on walking, but he had no clue how much it meant to me.
"Thank you!" I called out to him in the distance. He was long gone, but I felt the need to be friendly towards him. People like him are proof to me that humans are inherently good.
I placed my guitar down and slid down off the stoop that I was perched on to peer into my guitar case. As I counted through the coins, my excitement grew. The man had given me a generous share of change, and now I was able to view and add it to everything else I had earned so far today. There was quite a lot in there, and if my estimates were correct, I was well on track to my goal for the summer. I had been saving up to return to school in the fall, and take a break from warehouse work with my sister.
"Dom!"
From down the street, I could recognize Stella's voice. She was marching towards me, her hands up in the air, and an exasperated look on her face. As I stood up from my stoop and dusted myself off, I prepared myself to be berated. My big sister had a lot of stress on her shoulders, and I could see her anger in the tightness of her face.
"What's up, sis?" I smiled at her cheekily.
"Come on home. I need your help getting dinner ready," she ordered.
"Alright, alright. I was just wrapping up here anyways," I replied. Stella headed home as I packed my guitar and my haul up for the day. It was a promising start on an early summer day. As much as my sister and I disagreed on, I still love her like nothing else, and appreciate all she does for me. When I save enough money to go to school in the fall, I want to be able to work hard and repay her, while also proving to her the benefits of looking on the bright side. With the Reapings coming up, I had taken out more tesserae, so we wouldn't have to spend on food. If I could withhold spending on my birthday, I'd have enough money saved up to achieve my dreams.
Things were looking up.
Cab: Tall and lanky with blonde hair and blue eyes. He's very pale. His face generally has a vague 'on fleek' look since he likes to wear makeup. He favors a natural look for most days but likes a pop of drama on the eyelids to make his eyes look bigger. Handsome in a generic all-American way.
Domenica: Relatively tall (5'9") with dark brown eyes and a dark complexion. She has long, very, very curly and vibrant red hair.
It says Domenica is 17 on the tribute list and 16 here because she actually turns 17 on the day of the Bloodbath. So, happy birthday?!
There are still slots to fill, so fill those up so we can get started!
