"So after Maria and Jett testify I'm going to testify after them?" Kelli asked

"Yes. They're going to ask questions about the day Delilah was taken and why you guys had a fight. So you need to be ready for whatever they throw at you." Ms. Lopez told her.

"Hey you got this babe." Kelli's boyfriend of four years said.

"Well Mr. Wessex, it looks like they have called you to the stand as well." Ms. Lopez said.

"Hey it's probably nothing, but look we got this." They smiled at each other.

Once 15 minutes, everyone was escorted back into the courtroom except for Maria and Levi who escorted to separate rooms.

"We call Maria Vasquez to the stand." The defense counsel said.

"Do you solemnly swear to the truth, nothing but the truth?"

"Yes I do."

"Ms. Vasquez ,tell me how did you meet ?"Ms. Lopez asked.

"Before the facility, I had worked on other projects with him."

"So how did you end up in the facility?"

"He had talked to me one day asking if I wanted to join him on his new project he was working on. He didn't really tell me about how we would be experimenting on subjects."

"You never asked him about these subjects?"

"No, he didn't like-"Ms. López asked her question again.

"Simple yes or no. You didn't ask him about these subjects?"

"No."

"So can you tell the jury what exactly you did in the facility?"

"I was a supervisory agent. I watched over everyone as they roamed the facility, were in the testing sesion, eating, or I helped insert powers into them."

"How did you put these powers into them?"

"We had made a serum. It erases their memories and implants powers into them. It's like a shot."

"Did you ever leave the facility?"

"I didn't want to keep hurting innocent people. I drew the line and quit."

"Why didn't you do anything before?"

"I didn't think of anything at first but I was tired of doing it. I wanted to get everyone out."

"So like Ms. Monroe was still in the facility you didn't do anything until they escaped. Why is that?"

"I don't know." She mumbled.

"We can't hear you. What was that?"

"I don't know," Maria exclaimed.

"So a year later after everyone has gotten out of Griffin's reach, you get captured by Mr. Griffin and are under his control, correct?"

"Yes."

"Did we tell anything before you were put under his control?"

"He said how I was one of his best employees. We can rule the world side by side. I didn't want to. He forced me under his control."

"What else happened?"

"He made me put more powers into Kendall."

"For the record, she is referring to my client, Mr. Knight. Continue."

"Once Mr. Knight's friends arrived, me, Mr. Knight, Mr. Fleming, and Mr. Stetson were sent to capture them before they had a chance to ruin Mr. Griffin's plans. After that, I fell unconscious somehow and woke up to me being arrested."

"No further questions."

"Ms. Vasquez, did you ever try to refuse the serum when Mr. Griffin gave it to you?"

"I tried to."

"No further questions."

"Very well. Please escort Ms. Vasquez off the stand and escort Mr. Stetson to the stand." The judge ordered.

"Do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, nothing but the truth?"

"Yes."

"How did you end up at the facility?"

"I was coming home one day from set, I was an actor and I felt somebody grab me. I woke up to a white room."

"And you found out Mr. Griffin had erased your memories and put powers into you, correct?"
"Yes."

"What else happened?"
"I was there for a year. I had escaped along with Ms. Taylor, Mr. Knight, and their friends."

"I had been in contact with them for a few months when we lost contact."

"Do you know how?"

"No."

"I fell in contact with Griffin who offered me a job. I had no money to survive so I took it."

"No further questions."

"Mr. Dubois, any questions?"

"No your honor."

Everyone had an hour for lunch before court was back in session. Everyone had picked a quick burger place to eat before they had to go back. Everyone was quiet knowing what some of their friends went through these past five years.

"I didn't think it was that bad." James spoke up.

I didn't know you guys had to go through testing sessions every week and never remembered anything. I'm sorry guys." James said.

"James, there's nothing for you to be sorry for. Griffin put all of us through hell, even if he didn't take us to the facility. Griffin will get what he deserves." Logan smiled, knowing he was angry at Griffin but wanted his friends to know everything was okay.

"Come on. We're up next to testify." Kelli said as her and Levi left before everyone else left.

"We call Kelli Monroe to the stand."

"Do you solemnly swear to the truth, nothing but the truth?"

"Ms. Monroe, the day your sister, Delilah was taken, you guys had a fight, correct?"

"Yes."

"Tell the jury what you were fighting about?"

"We were fighting about Jesse. I had found out about Jesse cheating. I saw him one day when I was driving home from the store. I was passing the park when I saw Jesse. I was at the stop sign and he was kissing another girl. I had told her about it and she said he would never do that. He loves her. After all, their anniversary was coming up. We kept going back and forth until she stormed out. I didn't think of anything until she didn't come back that night."

"Did you report her missing?"

"Yes, the next day I went to the police."

"Is this the poster that was put out?"

"Yes."

"No further questions."

"No further questions from us, your honor."

"We call Levi Wessex to the stand."

"Please escort Ms. Monroe off the stand."

"Mr. Wessex, do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, nothing but the truth?"

"Yes."

"Please be seated."

"Mr. Wessex, have you known Kelli Monroe for four years correct?"

"Yes."

"So you were Ms. Monroe's mental health supporter?"
"Yes. Soon we grew close to where I became her boyfriend."

"Did she ever tell you about Delilah?"

"Yes. When we first met, she talked about Delilah a lot."

"Seemed like a girl who loved her sister. Did she ever tell you anything else?"

"No. We talked about other stuff but she loves Delilah. I knew she was a sweet girl. So when we met her, she was everything Kelli described."
"I see. No further questions."

"No further questions."

"We'll recess for the day. Court is back in session at 9:00 am."
