On Today's Episode: The spies infiltrate Terrence's hideout in order to put an end to his plans once and for all, but as they saw in his cell, Terrence has quite the trump card up his sleeves in his own efforts to eliminate the spies. Which side will prevail in this epic final showdown?
Episode 5: Fantastic Finale
6:23 PM – Terrence's Hideout
The spies moved forward to go after the dreaded Terrence Lewis.
"This place gives me the creeps," Nozomi replied.
"Yeah," Alex agreed. "Despite all of the sci-fi this place has, it's still very creepy."
"Not to mention all the traps that I'm sure are waiting for us," Haruka deduced.
"I assume they're typical in every villain's secret lair," Nozomi guessed.
"Oh, you don't know the half of it, Nozomi!" Sam exclaimed, having gone through this more than a dozen times.
"Some villains don't learn from past mistakes, unfortunately," Clover chastised.
"No, they don't," Bridget remarked.
"I think we need to stick together, everyone," Nick deduced. "Since it looks like he's trying to split us up."
"Rules for villains, number fifty-five: if the good guys have a group, always attempt to split them up and pick them off one by one," Haruka quipped.
"Well, we're not gonna let that stop us!" Bridget proclaimed.
"Just once, I'd like to see a villain turn over a new leaf," Mat stated.
"I wouldn't count on that happening anytime," Alex remarked.
"Though it'd be nice if it did happen," Nick added.
The spies looked in every direction for where Terrence could be.
"Mat, how're you holding up?" Bridget asked.
"Still hanging in there," Mat replied. "I just hope we don't stop soon since things can catch up to you then; it's happened to me before after riding and I get really restless."
"Good point," Alex stated, remembering her past soccer matches and such.
"Rules for villains, number fifty-six: Wear out the good guys to put the odds in your favor," Haruka quipped.
"Well, there's eight of us," Nick pointed out. "But we can do our best with what we got if Mat runs out of gas."
The spies all nodded in agreement.
"It'd be nice to know where he is," Clover remarked before a loud thunk was heard.
"Was I the only one who heard that?" Sam asked.
"No, I heard it, too," Mat answered.
"Same here, Sam," Nick added.
"You got that right, spies," another voice sneered.
It turned out to be Terrence in the flesh, but he seemed to be in a cockpit.
"Shoulda guessed," Nick growled.
"Why don'tcha come out, unless you're too chicken?!" Nozomi boasted.
Terrence just sneered as he pressed a button and the ground began shaking beneath them. It turned out that the eight spies were standing on the left hand of Terrence's giant robot.
"We're standing on..." Clover started, but she couldn't figure out how to finish that statement.
"You sure are," Terrence sneered.
"Doesn't matter," Haruka responded. "You're going down, Terrence!"
"Good lord, it's HUGE!" Bridget exclaimed. "When they said 'giant', they weren't kidding!"
"I take it you're impressed?" Terrence laughed as the spies jumped off of the hand, with Nick encasing them all in a large bubble so they could float safely to the ground. "Behold, my ultimate masterpiece: Omega Res Novae!"
"Man, you really went overboard with the design on that thing," Clover quipped.
Terrence responded by commanding Omega Res Novae to launch a ball of violet light from its hands, forcing the spies to scatter to avoid the blast.
"I need to go overboard if I wish to have any hope of defeating you persistent meddlers," Terrence proclaimed. "I have put up with your incessant shenanigans for far too long!"
Mat used his Laser Chapstick to deflect a shot from Omega Res Novae. He weaved around a little before Sam was able to help him out.
"Hanging on, Mat?" Sam then asked.
"A little bit, but I'm almost out of physical gas," Mat told Sam. "My muscles are totally screaming from riding and this mission..."
Sam slightly groaned inside, hoping that this wouldn't happen.
"Guys, Mat's too exhausted to continue!" Sam called out to the others.
"Well, it seems that that part of my scheme was a success," Terrence laughed as Omega Res Novae floated closer to the spies.
"Wait, 'scheme'?" Alex gasped. "What exactly are you on about now?!"
"I thought you'd have figured it out by now, my dear Alex," Terrence proclaimed, only for Omega Res Novae to be pushed backwards courtesy of Nick firing a Final Shine Attack into its chest.
"Hey, only I'm allowed to call Alex that," Nick taunted. "Now out with it!"
"Why do you think Scam kidnapped your precious girlfriend?" Terrence responded. "Why do you think Macker was in on it, and why do you think they both had more backup plans? And furthermore, why do you think I sprung all of the villains from W.O.O.H.P.'s prison? It was all my idea. I needed more time to finalize and prepare Omega Res Novae for its grand performance. And how about that, everything you all had to deal with over the past couple days gave me all the time I needed!"
"...you're insane," Nozomi proclaimed. "Do you honestly think you're going to get away with your scheme?!"
"Yeah, we've trashed far more lethal giant robots than yours!" Sam shouted.
"Oh, but you haven't seen my masterpiece in action yet," Terrence laughed.
Omega Res Novae rose slightly into the air before slamming back down to the ground, unleashing a shockwave from the point of impact. The spies all jumped over it, with Nick grabbing the exhausted Mat in his psychic hold so he could lift him away from the attack.
"Thanks for the lift, bro," Mat stated as Nick brought him up to a higher position in the control room, safely out of Omega Res Novae's reach.
"We've got this," Nick responded. "No giant bot is taking us down today."
Nick flew back down to the control room and blasted Omega Res Novae in the head to keep it away before rejoining the rest of the spies.
"Do you see any weak spots, Haruka?" Nick asked.
Haruka raised her X-Powder to scan Omega Res Novae as it approached them. "I detect a structural weakness around its neck joint area, but it's pretty heavily guarded by those giant armor plates," Haruka replied. "We're gonna need to get Omega Res Novae to kneel before we can expose the weak spot."
"So, go and bash the legs, then?" Bridget replied. "Roger on that. Sonic Mode, online!"
Before the light from her transformation had faded, Bridget was already on the move, equipping a Metal Masher Boxing Glove and punching Omega Res Novae's legs as she zipped by, landing four hits on each leg until Omega Res Novae keeled over, allowing Nick to fly into the air and fire a Final Shine Attack into the neck joint.
"Blast you, spies!" Terrence shouted, before grinning evilly. "Hey, that's actually a good idea."
Once it recovered, Omega Res Novae raised its right hand to unleash a blast of red energy that sent the spies tumbling in different directions.
"Now he's making puns?!" Alex shouted. "All right, this dumb hullabaloo needs to end!"
"For once, I agree with you," Terrence proclaimed. "This is going to end today."
Omega Res Novae opened a few more weapon ports along its chest plates before spinning around like a whirling dervish, unleashing laser blasts in many different directions to keep the spies on the move.
One stray laser blast flew towards Mat on the upper level, but Nick was quicker on the draw, flying up to Mat and creating a psychic barrier in front of him to deflect the blast.
"That's low, even for you," Nick growled as he flew towards Omega Res Novae and punched it in the chest, his psychic-enhanced strength actually cracking Omega Res Novae's chest plate. This allowed Nick to grab the cracked plating and rip it off of the giant robot, completely exposing Omega Res Novae's weak point.
For good measure, Nick punched the neck joint, and that caused Omega Res Novae to seize up and seemingly stop functioning.
"Hey, Nick revealed the weak spot!" Alex exclaimed.
"I think we need to hit it with everything we've got!" Sam shouted. "It's now or never!"
The eight spies all aimed their projectile gadgets towards the weak spot while Nick charged up a Final Shine Attack.
"Come on, work, you stupid machine!" Terrence shouted as he frantically attempted to restart Omega Res Novae.
"Blast him!" Nick shouted as he unleashed a super-powerful Final Shine Attack, followed by the other spies firing their projectile gadgets into the blast to create a large neon-green burst of energy surrounded by wind and red beams. The combination attack screamed through the air and blasted Omega Res Novae in the chest, causing massive damage to the machine and forcing it to slump over in defeat.
"And that's how the giant robot falls!" Alex giggled.
"It's always fun to do combination attacks, huh?" Clover laughed.
"You know, we should see if Jerry's still got the Vortex Blaster in storage," Nick quipped. Bridget would have responded to that if Terrence hadn't suddenly started laughing.
"Hey, what's so funny?!" Bridget shouted. "Your giant robot is toast, and we're taking you in! What's got you laughing like the deranged madman you are?!"
Once his laughing fit was finished, Terrence grinned evilly, reaching for a particular button on the cockpit's control panel.
"Did you really think that was all Omega Res Novae had under its metallic sleeves?" Terrence proclaimed. "I already guessed that you'd disable it in its current form."
"Wait, 'current form'?" Nick gasped. "You don't mean..."
"That's right, boy!" Terrence cackled. "You haven't seen what Omega Res Novae is truly capable of! BEHOLD, THE FACE OF YOUR MERCILESS DEATH!"
Terrence slammed his hand onto the button, and Omega Res Novae began to change drastically, its body covered with a bright white glow and transfiguring into a much sleeker designed robot, though still looking similar to its original form. Omega Res Novae also had two smaller robots connected to its shoulder pads by long cables.
"You son of a bitch, you were holding back on us?!" Nick shouted.
"Precisely," Terrence proclaimed. "And, even better, I haven't showed you the best part of Omega Res Novae yet, the reason I needed so much time to prepare it."
Terrence pressed another button, and Omega Res Novae's hands clenched to gather dark violet energy into them.
"Wait, what's it doing now?!" Clover gasped.
"I'm not sticking around to find out!" Nick shouted.
Before any of the spies could retaliate, however, a bright bubble of light exploded outwards from Omega Res Novae's hands and covered nearly the entire control room, only missing Mat, who was still on the higher level.
When the bubble of light disappeared, the spies, Terrence, and Omega Res Novae had vanished completely, to Mat's utter shock.
Unknown Time – Location Unknown
When the spies could finally see again, they found themselves standing in a strange void of violet and purple light, with a large sphere of white light far away with swirling clouds and energy giving it the impression of a black hole, and a few random stone structures floating around the void. There didn't seem to be any visible ground to stand on, yet the spies were all standing just fine.
"Um..." Clover quipped. "I have no idea where we are, but it's science fiction central, that's for sure."
"W-wait, where's Mat?!" Sam shouted. "What did you do with him?!"
"I didn't do anything, my dear," Terrence laughed as the newly-transformed Omega Res Novae approached the spies. "He's still where we left him. What you're seeing all around you is the pinnacle of Omega Res Novae's design: the ability to traverse different dimensions!"
"Hold on, dimensions?!" Alex shouted.
"I figured this barren void of nothingness would be a suitable battleground for our final showdown," Terrence proclaimed. "What better way to deal with you than to ensure no one from your world will ever see you again!"
Omega Res Novae advanced threateningly, with Terrence laughing all the way. "I hope you've said your prayers, spies!" Terrence cackled. "Finally, revenge is mine!"
"Well, this doesn't look good," Sam proclaimed. "Does anyone have any ideas?"
"I can't read any obvious weak points," Haruka growled. "Whatever's in this strange dimension is messing with my X-Powder."
"Yeah, mine's on the fritz, too," Alex stated. "I guess other dimensions are outside of W.O.O.H.P.'s calling plan."
"We might be in trouble," Bridget admitted.
Nick prepared himself for a battle, until he suddenly remembered something, mentally slapping himself for almost forgetting their own trump card.
"So, Terrence, you think you've got the upper hand?" Nick taunted.
"You don't seem to be in any position to be making empty threats, boy," Terrence shot back. "I'm calling your bluff right here and now!"
"Then prepare to lose," Nick responded. "You may have busted out your super-secret ultimate weapon, thinking you'd use it to eliminate us..."
Nick reached into his Jetpack Backpack and pulled out the seven Psy-Stones, relishing the shocked look on Terrence's face.
"...but you didn't realize that I have a trump card of my own to play."
Nick spread his arms upwards so that the Psy-Stones left his grasp and began spinning around him, surrounding him in an almost invisible bubble of light.
"Ooh, this is gonna be good," Bridget giggled.
After a few seconds of preparation, Nick clenched his fists and brought the Psy-Stones closer to him, absorbing their power into his own body and causing immense light to explode outwards from him.
The spies had to shield their eyes briefly from the explosion of light, but when it cleared enough for them to see what had just happened, they were all awestruck.
"Oh, wow..." Alex gasped.
Nick was floating a few inches off of the 'ground', surrounded by an utterly gigantic aura of pure golden light, almost like a stage curtain of energy instead of the simple body-glow it normally was. Nick's hands were surrounded by spheres of yellow light, and his eyes had changed from brown to a sharp golden yellow.
"H-How... how did you...?!" Terrence gasped.
"Ladies, gentlemen, spies and villains aplenty..." Nick proclaimed. "Meet my trump card."
Not wasting another second, Nick charged forward at speeds that rivaled Bridget in Sonic Mode, flying up to the cockpit of Omega Res Novae.
"What do you honestly think you're going to accomplish up here?" Terrence laughed, attempting to project an air of confidence.
That air of confidence was quickly shattered when Nick wound up and punched the head of Omega Res Novae. The force of Nick's punch combined with his now massively-boosted psychic powers was enough to send Omega Res Novae crashing to the 'ground' like a rag doll.
"HOLY CRAPBASKETS!" Haruka shouted. "You all just saw that, right?!"
"Talk about 'welcome to the next level'!" Clover exclaimed.
"We'd better get over there and help out," Alex proclaimed. "Despite the power boost, I'm not letting Nick do this alone."
"Right, we've gotta help our buddy out however we can!" Bridget shouted.
"Let's get in there and knock some robot heads around!" Nozomi laughed.
Sam took point, leading the remaining spies towards Omega Res Novae to assist Nick however they could.
"I hope we can let Mat know we're okay," Nozomi chastised.
Nick got out his X-Powder, but there was nothing but static on the screen, and he wasn't able to ascertain contact with the absent Mat. "I guess we're on our own, girls," Nick told the group.
"Looks like Mat got the rest he needs, then," Clover remarked.
"Not at the time he was thinking, I bet," Haruka deduced.
"No, but I hope he's okay," Sam replied, not trying to dredge up worst-case scenarios.
"Mat can take care of himself, I'm sure," Bridget stated.
"I won't doubt that," Nick replied. "W.O.O.H.P. gave us that aspect – to take care of ourselves."
Meanwhile...
Back at the hideout, Mat was visibly exhausted from all the circumstances that had arisen after his riding day. He'd already put in a call to Jerry and W.O.O.H.P. and explained what had just happened.
"So, this is where they all escaped?" Jerry asked Mat.
"Yes, indeed," Mat replied.
"Sir, I've managed to find something that indicates the other agents were just here," one W.O.O.H.P. agent spoke up. "As well as Terrence."
It turned out to be some oil left over from the giant robot.
"I'll analyze this," Jerry remarked as he got out his compact lab kit from his shoe. (Remember the S4 finale Totally Busted?)
A few other W.O.O.H.P. agents were making sure Mat was getting the treatment he was getting with massaging parts of his upper body.
"Anything on that oil, Jerry?" Mat asked.
"It appears to be from whatever Terrence's weapon was," Jerry replied.
"Any chance that might aid in some sort of portal to get them back?" Mat asked.
"I think so," Jerry replied. "But we've never tried something like that before."
Mat tried calling Sam or one of the other spies with his DS... and had no luck. "No luck, Jer," he told Jerry.
"Not to worry," Jerry heroically declared. "I think I can help get them in contact, and get back whenever they're ready."
"How's that, Jerry?" Mat asked.
"If all of this equipment in the control room was used to build Terrence's machine, I believe it can help us contact the spies as well," Jerry stated.
"Of course!" Mat exclaimed.
Meanwhile...
Back in the unknown dimension, the spies were still looking every which way trying to find out where Terrence was hiding to finish out the battle.
"This dimension is giving me the creeps," Alex commented.
"That makes two of us," Clover added.
"Well, nonetheless, we gotta hurry and defeat Terrence and get back to Mat," Sam emphasized.
"I see him!" Nick exclaimed as they moved forward.
He was also using his psychic powers to block any sneak attacks if at all possible. There were quite a bit that were coming at them.
"So, the villain finally came out of hiding," Sam proclaimed.
She used her Wind Tunnel 9000 to show she was ready for battle with Terrence.
"Hey, Sam," Nick proclaimed.
He leaned in to whisper his plan to Sam. "Let me add a little oomph to your Wind Tunnel 9000 with my psychic shot. You shoot first, and I'll add some power."
Sam liked hearing that, then turned back to face Terrence.
"Terrence, YOU'RE DONE FOR!" The present spies proclaimed.
"Is that supposed to scare me, you wretches?" Terrence laughed as Omega Res Novae advanced on the spies.
"Um, you saw what I did earlier, right?" Nick responded. "You tried to be all confident and swagger, but I knocked your giant mech on its ass with one punch. You really think you've got the advantage here?"
"I can still crush you!" Terrence shouted as Omega Res Novae lunged forward to strike, firing off another violet energy sphere that Nick simply blocked with a psychic barrier.
"What was that?" Nick taunted.
"You fell for it, fool!" Terrence shouted as the two smaller bots connected to Omega Res Novae floated upwards to fire something into the sky. A second later, hundreds of violet laser beams began to rain down from the sky, forcing the spies to scatter in different directions.
When the barrage subsided, Sam aimed her Wind Tunnel 9000 for the cockpit of Omega Res Novae, as it seemed to need a short time to recover after that last attack. The instant she fired a blast off, Nick channeled some of his psychic power into the blast, and with the extra kick, the blast pushed back Omega Res Novae, leaving visible cracks in its chest plating.
"All right, we're getting somewhere!" Clover exclaimed.
The two small robots suddenly jerked forward and snatched Alex up, bringing her back to Omega Res Novae so it could place both of its hands on either side of her and channel scarlet electricity between them, shocking Alex for a few seconds.
"Serves you right for defying me!" Terrence cackled.
Nick's response was a much more powerful Final Shine Attack that he swept to the side, the blast blowing out both of Omega Res Novae's legs and forced it to release Alex. Nick quickly flew up to catch Alex, then brought her back to the 'ground'.
"You okay, Alex?" Nick asked.
"My ears are still ringing, and I think my hair's kinda frizzy," Alex quipped. "But otherwise, I should be fine."
"You're gonna pay for that, Terrence!" Nick shouted, his aura flaring around him.
"Try and stop me," Terrence proclaimed, only to hold onto his cockpit for dear life when Nick flew closer and punched the chest plate of Omega Res Novae right in the spot where he and Sam had cracked it earlier, shattering the chest plate and exposing what appeared be the machine's main generator.
"Well, if you insist," Nick teased, ready to charge up one more Final Shine Attack and end this fracas...
...only for the two smaller robots to approach and hit Nick with a sweeping laser that didn't seem to do much to him.
Before Nick could respond, though, both Omega Res Novae and its smaller robots suddenly blasted Nick with a field of lightning bolts before unloading a massive barrage of laser beams.
Caught off guard, Nick was unable to defend himself and took the full force of the attack, sending Nick crashing into one of the random meteorites flying by in this void-like dimension.
"How are you not a spy salad after that?!" Terrence shouted. "That blast should have ended you!"
"...you can thank my supercharged psychic powers for keeping me from becoming a spy swiss cheese," Nick quipped as he peeled himself off of the meteorite. "So, ultimately, a fruitless attempt despite the damage you dealt."
Nick flew towards Omega Res Novae as it attempted to use that special attack again, only for Nick to form a large energy blade on his hands and slash through the two smaller robots before dashing towards the exposed generator.
"...but, if it's any consolation..." Nick proclaimed. "...that hurt like hell."
All Terrence could do was scream as a massive Final Shine Attack erupted from Nick's hands at point-blank range, shredding through the generator and leaving a gigantic hole in Omega Res Novae's chest. Not even a second later, Omega Res Novae collapsed to its no-longer-existent knees, its main power source destroyed, and its body was rocked by explosions that eventually tore the machine apart, causing Terrence to fly out of the cockpit and land on the 'ground'.
Terrence slowly looked up as Nick approached him.
"I... I can't talk my way out of this, can I?" Terrence asked, finally accepting that he'd been defeated.
"Understatement of the century," Nick proclaimed, raising his right hand to seal Terrence in a psychic bubble. "Go and ruminate on that when you get back to your cell."
"That was awesome, Nick!" Bridget exclaimed as the remaining spies rushed over to join Nick. "Way to put that pompous ass in his place!"
"Hey, I try," Nick laughed.
"Oh, crapbaskets," Sam gasped. "I just realized something, you guys. If Terrence's robot could traverse dimensions, and we just destroyed it..."
Just as everyone gasped in shock when they realized what Sam was getting at, Sam's X-Powder suddenly began beeping. She quickly opened it to see Jerry and Mat on the screen, though with some slight static interference, no doubt due to being in a different dimension.
"Jerry?!" Sam gasped. "How'd you get through?! We tried to contact you earlier, but our X-Powders wouldn't work in this crazy other dimension!"
"We used Terrence's laboratory equipment to patch us through," Jerry proclaimed. "And we figured out that we can also use it to open another portal for you all to come back home."
"Once again, Jerry, you are a lifesaver!" Alex exclaimed.
"Just keep your X-Powder open, Sam, and I'll do the rest," Jerry stated.
After a couple seconds of waiting, a purple portal opened up in front of the spies, leading back to Terrence's lab.
"And home we go," Clover giggled. "What a ride this case has been, huh?"
"Tell me about it," Haruka proclaimed.
Nothing more needed to be said as the spies crossed through the portal back into Terrence's lab. After a few seconds of deliberation, Nick turned back to the main console and fired a Final Shine Attack into it, rather handily destroying the machinery and instantly closing the portal.
"There," Nick quipped. "Now no one can use this to go dimension hopping anymore. I'd rather not have someone find the remains of his machine."
"Good point, Nick," Sam responded just as Mat lunged forward to hug her.
"I was really worried about you, Sammy," Mat admitted. "When you all just vanished like that, I had no idea what had happened..."
"Long story short, the magnum opus of Terrence's big bot was that it could traverse different dimensions," Nick answered. "So he thought he could trap us in a dimension of absolute nothing and take us down there."
Nick relaxed his stance, causing the seven Psy-Stones to leave his body and fall into his hands, his aura fading away for the moment. "But when he tried to call our bluff, I pulled out my trump card and wasted that mechanized menace," Nick proclaimed.
"You wretches are going to pay for this!" Terrence shouted. "Make no mistake, one of these days, you're all going to regret ever standing against me!"
"Oh, just shut up already," Nick groaned. "Gentlemen, if you would?"
The other agents that had accompanied Jerry nodded and began escorting the bubbled Terrence back outside.
"You would think he'd have learned by now," Jerry sighed.
"I hear you on that one, Jer," Nick quipped.
"In any case, spies, I must once again congratulate you on a mission well done," Jerry proclaimed. "And considering how busy you've been as of late, I figure you all deserve some time off."
"Too true, Jerry," Alex laughed. "Now that that's been said, how about we blow this popsicle stand? I think we deserve a day in the pool after all of this."
"Exactly what I was thinking, Alex," Clover laughed.
Before the group gathered, though, Jerry turned towards Nozomi. "Nozomi, was it?" Jerry proclaimed. "I must commend you for your exemplary teamwork today."
"I guess we just click, huh?" Nozomi giggled. "Um, if it's not any trouble..."
"No worries, Nozomi, I was thinking the same thing," Jerry answered. "I'll take care of all the paperwork when we return to W.O.O.H.P. so you can join your friends on their team."
"All right!" Alex laughed. "Welcome to the team, Nozomi!"
"Wouldn't wanna be anywhere else," Nozomi giggled as Nick gave her a high-five.
("To Know the Unknown" by Innosense plays)
Now that the mission was finally complete, the spies didn't waste any time in heading back out of the lab and into the W.O.O.H.P. jet so Jerry could ferry them back to Beverly Hills.
As the jet flew away from Tokyo, the girl with the orange pirate cap watched the jet leave Tokyo airspace. She couldn't help but smile.
8:46 P.M. – The Spies' Beach House, Beverly Hills
"Look at those two," Alex laughed as she watched Sam and Mat change into their swimsuits, then subsequently leap into the pool. "They're not wasting any time!"
"Well, Mat was the one who kinda took it on the chin during that last excursion," Bridget quipped. "All that riding and zooming plus another batch of baddies to take down, followed by a battle with yet another crazed lunatic and his giant robot? We definitely earned this time off."
As Sam and Mat started acting more affectionate towards each other, Haruka couldn't help but grin at the sight.
"Ooh, la, la," Haruka giggled. "EEP!"
That last "EEP" was brought on when Nozomi reached out to grab Haruka by her ear and drag her away from the lovely couple.
"Maybe let the lovebirds be lovebird-y?" Nozomi quipped. "We all know they're a cute couple without needing extra commentary."
"But it's fuuuuuuuuuuuuuun," Haruka mock-whined.
"Who thinks that's gonna be pretty common around here now?" Bridget laughed.
Everyone present had a good laugh at that as they all changed into their own swimwear to join Sam and Mat in the pool.
After the hectic few days they'd had, it was incredibly comforting to just relax and spend some time together.

Final Author's Notes from Mat49324: And our movie fic has been completed. As I pointed out earlier, this wasn't going to take 16 chapters like the first one did back in 2005. And it also didn't take us two years like before when numerous issues came up on our ends. Anyway, we hope you enjoyed our "movie" fic and that you'll see our S3 premiere, The Flashback Tapes.
Final Author's Notes from The Blue Time Ranger: And that's a wrap! Man, this one was fun to return to. Like I said, there were a lot of things in the original story that I felt we could do better now, especially considering some things I felt like I shoehorned in *coughGrendorcough*.
So, then. Now that our movie's wrapped up, I think we shouldn't keep you waiting for much longer, because season three of Totally Spies: The New Adventures is about to begin! And we're starting off with a bit of a humdinger considering a certain 80s-obsessed hippie and a strange girl who's looking for something. We'll see you all in the premiere episode of season three, The Flashback Tapes, which will be posted by me. So, until next time, have a fantastic day, don't listen to the screeching morons, enjoy this preview of The Flashback Tapes, and we'll see you next mission!

"I found you!" the girl exclaimed. "At least, I found someone..."
"Um, can you maybe explain some things to me, miss? Because I hate feeling like I skipped a chapter," Nick asked.
"Oh, sorry, forgot my manners there," the girl giggled before smoothing down her dress and smiling brightly. "My name's Klee! It's nice to meet you all!"
"Same here, Klee, but you said you were looking for us?" Alex asked.
"Well, I was looking for anyone who could help me," Klee answered. "And it looks like I did!"
"Help you with what, though?" Dawn wondered.
Just then, something very strange happened.
The entire roof of the beach house suddenly vanished without a trace, like it had never been there in the first place.
"Okay, so please, someone tell me if that's supposed to happen?!" Clover gasped.
Sam, Mat, and Britney all ran back into the living room as the pool disappeared as well, the three of them changing back into their normal outfits. "The pool's vanishing, too!" Sam exclaimed. "What the heck is happening out here?!"
Nick dashed to the nearby window, and now he could see multiple buildings around the area vanishing as well.
"Whatever is happening, I'm pretty sure one of our rogues' gallery is behind this," Nick proclaimed. "Let's suit up and head to W.O.O.H.P.!"
"Of course, we get sucked back in to secret agent work the instant our vacation ends," Clover teased. The spies had actually been granted a well-deserved reprieve from W.O.O.H.P. work after a stressful mission in another dimension. The spies' rogues gallery had been surprisingly quiet during that time as well. "Oh, well, duty calls. Time to kick bad guy rear again!"
"One second," Melissa responded. "What should we do about Klee?"
"For now, we take her with us," Nick stated as the spies changed into their spy suits. "Whatever's going on, I'd rather she not get erased along with the rest of the city."
Klee jumped on top of Nick's back, like she was expecting a piggyback ride. Nick decided to ask more questions when they all weren't in danger of being erased, and the spies all beat feet for W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters.
To be continued in Totally Spies: The Flashback Tapes...
