Flashback
Hinata was the first to move quickly drawing and firing three arrows at Orochimaru. The snake ninja caught the arrow aimed for his face as if it were nothing, while the other two were embedded in the snakes skin.
Orochimaru "Kukuku is this all I thought you were actual going to be a chall..." the creepy man was cut off as the arrow exploded in his face and soon the other two as well.
"Good job Hinata-chan" Naruto praised her as all three escaped
"T...hank you Naruto-kun" she smiled softly as they jumped from tree branch to tree branch
Sasuke remained quiet as they continued he was internally still shaken on the inside. 'How...how could he remain so calm, so in control...while I was reduced to a mulling quim...damn it'. The duck haired boy was so immersed in his thoughts that he didn't hear Naruto say watch out in time and was knocked back by a snakes tail.
"Damn it" Naruto said as he and Hinata landed on a tree while Sasuke was slammed hard into a tree
"Kukuku...that was impressively annoying" Orochimaru said as he stood once again on the head of another snake
"Hinata-chan...stay here" Naruto whispered before activating his dojutsu 'KITSUNEMENGAN' he thought as he entered his full initial Jinchuriki form he lunged at Orochimaru taking out his Shortsword and splitting it. He aim to decapitate the snake-teme but was met with a resounding clash as he sword met Orochimaru's Sword of Kusanagi.
Hinata watched with bow in hand waiting for the right time to strike, as her blonde teammate and the enemy met blow for blow with Orochimaru dodging a few close calls. Naruto on the other hand had several small cut on his body and through his uniform.
'Damn it I need to end this' Naruto as he dodged another slash he looked over and saw that Sasuke was getting up "Sasuke I need your help get your head in the game!"
Orochimaru smiled an evil smile "I don't think he can help anyone right now" with a particularly strong slash he manged to knock Naruto back for a bit giving him enough time to order the snake to attack Sasuke.
"Oh no Sasuke-san please move" Hinata gasped
Sasuke looked up only to see Orochimaru and his snake coming right at him, and with body still sore and fear still laced in his mind he couldn't move in time.
Right as the snake was about the finish him off it was suddenly stopped. Silence filled the air as Hinata was shocked at the speed he did it, while Sasuke was shaking and looking directly in the blood-red eyes of one Uzumaki Naruto.
'Naruto...what are you' Sasuke thought
*pant* "Hey kid you're not hurt are ya" *pant* "Ya Scaredy Cat" Naruto asked him in his demonic voice as he had stabbed two kunai deep into the skin of the snake having put his short sword away. "Look I dont know what he has done to you but you need to wake up Sasuke and get your head in the game if not..." Naruto knew this was going to strike a nerve but it needed to be said "...the last person you'll need to worry about is your brother because...ILL KILL YOU MYSELF"
Sasuke's heart thumped he slowly began to regain his composure. Naruto saw a bit a fire returning to his teammates eyes but suddenly he felt something slimy wrap its self around his upper body. Team 7's eyes widened as Naruto began to be lifted up and brought in front of Orochimaru.
"Hey aww man what the hell...disgusting put me down before I rip this tongue out of your head argghh" Naruto yelled as he struggled
'Extraordinary so the container of the Kyuubi lives' Orochimaru thought as he made a hand seal "So when your anger is aroused the Kyuubi's chakra seeps through" he paused not knowing how wrong he was, opening his hand as his fingers became engulfed in a purple fire. "What an interesting childhood you must have had hmm it seems the seal that binds him had shown its self" he said lifting Naruto's shirt up with his long slithery tongue.
Kurama who had watched the whole time but remained quiet so Naruto could focus spoke up now to his host "KIT WATCH OUT THATS A GOGYO FUIN (Five Element Seal) ITS A TECHNIQUE WHICH PRODUCES A POWERFUL SEAL THAT IF IT CONNECTS WILL KNOCK YOU OUT AND BLOCK YOUR CHAKRA FLOW YOU NEED TO GET AWAY FROM HIM NOW"
'Im trying Kurama isn't there anything you can do to help!' Naruto ask as he continues to try to break free
Kurama thought for a split second "THERE IS SOMETHING I CAN DO TO BLOCK ITS EFFECT BUT IT WILL STILL KNOCK YOU OUT FOR A WHILE"
"GOGYO FUIN" Orochimaru called out jamming his fingers into Naruto stomach
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Naruto screamed out in agony, his eye widening as a counter seal appear above his orignal
"NARUTO-KUN!" Hinata screamed almost of the verge of tears she turned to Sasuke "Sasuke what are you waiting for help him please!" she pleaded
With Takeru
Traveling alongside his brothers shadow clone they headed back to the spot where he was deployed from.
"The spot is just ahead and..." the clone began to say before he burst into smoke
"What the hell...oh no Naruto-kun..." Takeru wondered "You better not be dead you hear me" he increased his speed
Inside the Seal
The purple flames rushed towards the cage that held the Kyuubi. Kurama begin to pump his chakra to form a type of shield around the cage and its seal. The flames finally made contact and an epic struggle began as Kyuubi very very slowly began pushing the flames back.
Outside
Sasuke's eyes widen his friend had taken a hit his heart thumped again. Naruto eyes and features reverted back to normal and his eyes became glossy. His whole body stopped moved and slumped in Orochimaru's grasp.
'For 12 years the seal remained unbroken, soon he and the fox's chakra will be as one but for now...he's just in my way' thought the snake-teme as he just tossed Naruto to his doom
"Naruto-kun no!" Hinata cried as she drew her arrow 'There's no way he'll survive that fall have to make this count' she shot the arrow and it connected pinning Naruto to the tree by the strap connecting his scabbard.
Hinata sighed in relief before turning to Sasuke with an expression no one had ever seen on her face...anger. "Sasuke-san please snap out of it we need you please WAKE UP!"
Sasuke's heart thumped again as he remembered his brothers words.
'FOOLISH LITTLE BROTHER YOU CANT KILL ME YOUR HATE IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH YOU'RE NOT STRONG ENOUGH YOUR LIFE IS TO PRECIOUS TO YOU SO RUN THATS RIGHT RUN AWAY AND LIVE WITH THE SHAME'
"NO!" Sasuke said as he stopped shaking and opened his eyes revealing his two tomoed Sharingan
"So it's finally happened his Uchiha blood has finally come to a boil hmmm I think I'll play with him a little to test his power"Orochimaru thought as he sent away his snake summoning landing on a large tree limb opposite setting sun beamed down on Sasuke as he grabbed a kunai and took a stance his vigor renewed.
Placing the Kunai in his mouth he thought to himself. 'I only cared about surviving in order to defeat my brother what a fool I've been I see the truth now...Naruto...Hinata...if I cant even beat this demon how could I ever hope to beat HIM!'. And with that he was off like a surge of lightning. He ran toward Orochimaru tossing his Kunai to which the man dodged. Leaping off another tree he headed right for the snake man at high speeds attacking a blocking attacks in mid-air.
Sasuke watch as Orochimaru ran at him and it was like he could see a slight transparancy. They met and matched blow for blow dodging and blocking each others attacks. 'I can see...I can SEE!'
While the two were fighting Hinata went over to where Naruto. Using the tree climbing technique managed to remove her arrow and move Naruto over to another tree limb where she cradled his sleeping form.
"Naruto-kun wake up please wake up...Naruto-kun!" she pleaded but to no avail tears threatning to fall from her eyes but she would not cry she was different now she had to be strong, it was her turn to protect him.
'He's breathing slowly but softly thats a good sign...but what did that guy or woman do to you Naruto-kun' she wondered slightly caressing his whisker marks even thought she was worried about him couldn't help but smile she looked up to continue watching Sasuke's fight.
Elsewhere
'I have to find him now my chances only get slimmer In the dark...I will find you Orochimaru' Anko thought as she quickly jumped through the trees
Meanwhile...
Naruto woke up with a major head ache. He placed his hand on the ground to lift himself up but was met with his hand touching water. 'Huh...water...where am I' he thought to himself and his hearing slowly started to come back in.
"kit wAKE UP!" Kurama blasted out as he was continuing to push the effects of the counter seal back
"Ku...Kurama-sensei whats g...going on" Naruto struggled to get out
"I PUT UP A BARRIER USING MY CHAKRA TO REPEL THAT JUTSU THAT THE HEBI-TEME USED...ITS WORKING BUT SLOWLY YOU WONT WAKE TILL MORNING"
"Oh no what about Hinata-chan and Sasuke whats happening with them." Naruto asked worried about his friends
"THE UCHIHA BRAT IS FIGHTNING THE HEBI-TEME AND YOUR WHITE EYED MATE SAVED YOU FROM FALLING TO OUR DOOM" Kurama answered
"Hinata-chan saved me...WAIT what do you mean my 'mate'?" Naruto asked his eyes widening
Kurama smirked inwardly and remained silent as he concentrated on expelling the purple flames of the Gogyu Fuin.
Outside the Seal
Sasuke had gained the upper hand after Orochimaru believe he had beaten the boy. The Uchiha now had the snake-teme trapped wrapped in ninja wire that was strung through out three trees like a web and connected to Sasuke's mouth and several kunai in the ground before him..
Making hand seals Sasuke thought 'KATON: RYUKA NO JUTSU' (Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique)A roaring flame erupted in front of the boy who then shot out aim directly at Orochimaru. The blast of fire completely engulfed him and even shot out through the back of the tree he was pinned against, effectively destroying the top half of it.
"He did it" Hinata said softly smiling as she continued to hold Naruto up praying he'd wake up soon.
Once the fire receded Sasuke knelt down panting "I *pant* did it" he turned his head to see that Hinata had gotten Naruto down. In his distraction he felt a large pain as he was bitten in the neck by Orochimaru who had survived and streched his neck to reach Sauske. A mark slowly appeared on the back of his neck that resembled three tomo matching the ones in Sasuke's eyes in a circular shape.
"Oh no Sasuke-san" Hinata yelled as Orochimaru released the boys neck after the mark was completed and retracted his neck back to his body. Sasuke's screams of agony filling the area of forest around them.
With Takeru
Takeru was still searching for his brother and friends when he heard loud screams of pain and agony coming from the direction to his North east, chancing it to be his brother he quickly changes routes and heads toward the screams.
Back with Sasuke
"Such mastery of the Sharingan at so young an age, you're a true Uchiha after all" Orochimaru paused placing his hand over the grass forehead protector changing it to a sound note. "Yesss...you'll do nicely...your are truly his brother if anything your eyes are keener than Itachi's, I have given you a parting gift you must use it to defeat the Oto nin that serve me."
"What have you done to him" Hinata spat out at Orochimaru holding a Kunai in one hand and Naruto in her other arm.
"Kukuku very soon Sasuke will seek me out for more power, until then I have enjoyed having a look at the power you have now" the snake nin said as he simply sunk down into the tree.
"ARGGGGHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHH" Sasuke cried out falling to his hands and knee in severe pain.
Hinata with Naruto's arm over her shoulder took him over to where Sasuke was. She was worried about both of her teammates. She knelt down and laid Naruto down and then went to check on Sasuke who promptly passed out on her.
"Naruto-kun...Sasuke-san...Im all alone what am I going to do" suddenly she felt a presence drop down close to them and quickly tossed a kunai at the attacker a slight nervous tick she picked up from training with Anko.
"Whoa Hinata-san watch where you're throwing those things" a familiar voice said as he appeared from the shadows"
"Takeru-san I am truly glad to see you right now" she said as she sighed in relief
The onyx haired boy sighed but then saw the state of her and her teammates mostly his brother. "Hinata-san please tell me what happen?"
"A...alright but not here we need to get shelter" she stated looking down and searching and finds a tree with raised roots "There down there can you help me with them please Takeru-san"
"Of course lets go..." Takeru says as he grabs Naruto and slings him over his shoulder and picks up Sasuke by his waist under the other arm its a bit of a struggle but he'll manage "...now lets hurry I've got a bad feeling...something just isn't right"
