A/N : Really sorry if you're watching Torchwood currently or are planning to watch it because there's a few spoilers for series three and four, if you haven't seen Torchwood it should still make enough sense, sorry again. Sorry for the delay also... not that anyone cares??

Yaz awoke to Graham putting the kettle on. Checking her phone, she saw it was half past eleven. Ravio still slept soundly. Rubbing her eyes, Yaz stumbled to the kitchen.

The police woman yawned and stretched as she leant against the door frame. Dully, she said, "morning."

"Aw sorry, Yaz," Graham apologised, "I didn't mean to wake you."

Yaz waved him off. "It's fine."

"I'll make it up to you," he said smiling warmly at her before turning to grab a mug from the upper cupboard, "I'll make you a cuppa."

"Thanks," she smiled, gratefully.

"Is Ravio still asleep?" Graham asked, "I hope I didn't wake her too."

"Oh no, sh—"

All of a sudden, Ryan burst into the room.

"What is it, son?" Graham asked, concerned.

"I woke up and Jack was gone, so then I thought maybe he's up, but then I thought I ought to check on the Doctor... but she's gone too."

For a moment, Yaz displayed some panic before controlling her guard once more.

"Well neither of them are big sleepers, maybe they went somewhere?" Graham shrugged him off.

"Yeah but, no note?" Ryan asked.

"Actually, now that I think about it, Graham's got a point, when does the Doctor tell us anything that she's doing? Why would now be any different?" Yaz said, disappointed slightly at her truth.

"I guess," Ryan said, "I just thought now would be different."

"Fine then, let's say if they don't get back in," Yaz checked her phone again, "I don't know.. an hour, then we'll get worried."

The other two nodded.

Then Graham got back to his tea and mumbled to himself, "it definitely is different now though."

Jack and the Doctor sat in a coffee shop.

"Just like the good old days." Jack smiled.

"Yeah, accept there's only half of us left." 13 sighed, solemnly.

Jack looked at her empathetically. "Yeah, things have certainly changed a lot, for the both of us."

The Doctor looked up at him questioningly.

"Well, y'know what it's like." Jack said, brushing her off.

The Doctor nodded knowing all too well, she took a sip of coffee in the silence. "How come it's been thirty years for you then? I mean you obviously haven't been on Earth all this time, it wasn't that early, so how'd you get your watch back and why'd you go to when the cyber wars happened?"

Jack sighed, knowing he was going to have to 'open up'. The last time I saw you, was oddly enough, when the Master had tried to destroy the world."

13 rubbed her eyes, feeling her age, "blimey, that was a long time ago."

"Yeah," Jack agreed.

"The Master has had two regenerations since then anorl." The Timelord scronched.

"Damn." Jack said, feeling really out of the loop. "Anyway, I was back with Torchwood and there was a crisis and Ianto.. died, so I left because I... Y'know.."

The Doctor nodded.

"And eventually I came back and there was another crisis..."

"Crisis?" The Doctor asked.

"Miracle Day? Nobody died.. like.. at all?" Jack asked confused at how she missed this.

"Must of missed it," she shrugged, with Jack rolling his eyes and shaking his head in return.

"I stayed after to bring Torchwood back, but Gwen had to quit because she had a baby.."

13 smiled at that.

"And I tried to keep Torchwood going, but, it was too late, it had fallen apart, and lost funding, and all it's people, and I stayed for a bit for Gwen and Rhys and Anwen, their daughter, but as they all got older and I didn't, it got harder for me to stay, and, they wanted Anwen to have a normal life, so to have an immortal guy from the future didn't really.. fit right."

"What? Did they kick you out?" 13 looked horrified.

"Oh-n-no-no, nothing like that. In fact, I offered, I found a way to fix my manipulator so I thought I'd go to a completely new time and start over."

13 was sat listening intently, her head slumped in her hand.

"But, as you can probably guess, I didn't really like what I found."

"What did you do when you got there?" The Doctor asked.

"I saw the Cyberium getting sent back in time so I followed it and got to the 19th century and I overheard Mary Shelley talking about you."

"Oh?" The Timelord asked, "Anything good?"

"Awful!" Jack joked, followed by 13's laughter. "Anyway, I, not wanting to fix time went back to Earth to find you, only to get caught in a Gloucester/Judoon bloodbath."

"Bit dramatic," the Doctor stated plainly.

"Says the alien that met herself but doesn't remember half her life." Jack mocked.

"Touché?" 13 answered sipping more coffee that she now cradled in her cold hands.

"Yes, so then I had to vacate rather quickly because of the nanogenes that were attacking me, and that sent me back to the 19th century where I was stuck for what felt so long because the damn thing fried in the rush to leave, I can't even remember how long I was stuck exactly, but I had to set up a whole new life just to get the equipment I needed to get back to Earth, which was especially annoying seen as I had just missed you, and then, after, I finally got back to now Earth and I couldn't find you anywhere because I was too late and you were in the middle of the cyberwars, and I searched for you and found your TARDIS empty, until finally I put the pieces together with the whole Judoon thing and realised you were in prison."

"Blimeh, sorreh, I should give you me new phone number." The Doctor said.

Jack let out a disbelieving laugh, "Ya'think?"

"How did you find the others?" 13 asked.

"Well, after I gathered everything I needed to get you out and I had a whole plan, I went back to 21st century Earth and looked around for your friends, Yaz and Ryan's accents helped a bit, Graham's.. not so much."

The Doctor chuckled. "How's the TARDIS?"

"Nobody was there when I was, but things could've easily changed since then." Jack said, realistically.

The Doctor nodded solemnly.

"We'll get her back... Doc." Jack said, giggling at Graham's nickname for her.

Thirteen made a disgusted face, "Ew, it's weird when you do it."

The pair chuckled.

It was nearing an hour in the O'Brien household of which now five, seen as Ravio and Yedlarmi had now awoken, lied checking the time anxiously.

"Where are they?" Yaz said, nervously, "Should we go and look for them?"

"I don't know." Ryan mumbled, drumming his fingers over and over.

At that moment the door swung open, and the Doctor, followed by Jack, strolled obliviously through the door, which made it clear to Yaz that the Doctor had 'composed' herself and 'rebuilt her walls' in the time of her departure.

"Where the hell have you been?!" Yaz fumed protectively.

"Yeah," Ryan added, "We thought the Judoon might've got ya, or you left to get your TARDIS without us."

"Sorreh," 13 said innocently.

"Look, Doc, we don't mean to be invasive, but you can't just disappear in the middle of the night without a note or anything could've happened to you."

"Nothing's changed." The Doctor said defensively. "I'm still able to take care of myself."

"Nothing's changed?! Everything's changed, Doctor!" Yaz snapped, tears brimming, "you're acting reckless, you're a fugitive, Doctor, you're wanted for a life sentence, and now you've escaped I don't want to think of the consequences if you got caught again, they found you easy enough before!"

The Doctor was taken aback.

"We thought you were dead, Doctor." Yaz wiped a tear from her emotional speech. "I told you not to go and you left anyway and you shrugged me off like you usually do and then you sent us away."

"What was I supposed to do?" The Doctor sighed, feeling as though she let her down.

Yaz didn't know the answer to that question however. Instead, she sat back down in her seat, followed by Graham and Ryan who, alike to Yaz, were stood from their seats at 13's sudden arrival.

Ravio and Yedlarmi remained seated at the table in the corner, not wanting to intrude.

When 13 looked at Yaz, she was reminded of her recent conversation with Jack, on how her friends are always changing and how one day she'd loose all three of them.

"Just don't push us away again." Graham answered for a still silent Yaz.

13 gulped and nodded, not looking him in the eye for she didn't know if she could uphold it.
