Ch 15 Shy No More, The Dam Breaks...Hinata Stands Tall

...that's why I fell madly in love with him...Naruto-kun...Im so sorry but I've failed you.

Tears continued to stream down Hinata's face, she began to think about all her times with Squad 7, her times with Naruto. All the times he made her smile, all the times he looked out for her or prasied her with an encouraging word. Then she remembers one of the first words of encourgment he ever gave her.

'Hey you'll do great Hinata-chan I believe in you Dattebayo'...'I BELIEVE IN YOU'

Her eyes widen 'Naruto-kun believe's in me, he said on our first mission together and I know he still does...' she places her left hand on her heart 'No...no more crying I'm done this is my moment its my turn to stand in front of my teammates and let them watch me from the background.

"Watch closely as Zaku snuffs out your little boyfriend" Kin taunts not noticing Hinata engulfing her right hand with chakra.

"Ok let's do this" Zaku said as he gets closer to Naruto having yet passed Kin and Hinata

"Jyuken" Hinata yells out raising her right hand and brushing it against Kin's right arm the same arm that was holding her

"What the fuck did you do I cant move my arm" Kin yelled in fury

Hinata turned back to look at her "That is the point" she says in a bold tone taking the hand she placed on her heart and moving it to her jacket zipper pulling it down. Hinata pulled herself from the hold of the jacket revealing her Ninja mesh shirt that stopped at her midriff and showed her breast wrapped in standard Shinobi wrap underneath.

"Hi...nata becare...ful" Takeru spat out with his last bit of consciousness

Zaku growled "Kin finish her now"

Using the only working arm she had left, she grabbed some senbon needles from her pouch ready to deal a final blow. Hinata began making hand seals.

"I know that hand seal" Zaku said mimicking the seal she made

Kin rushed the senbon into Hinata spine only for her to burst into a cloud and be replaced by a thick log.

"Fuck a substitution jutsu how did I fall for..." Kin was cut off when I foot connected with her head knocking her down. Hinata had leapt above her and kicked her head down and she used it as a spring-board to gain a quick speed boost running towards Zaku.

"You will not lay a finger on him" her hands full of kunai Hinata threw them all aimed for Zaku.

"Thanks for the gifts hope you don't mind if I return them Slicing Sound Wave" the sound ninja said redirecting the kunai back to her only for her to substitute again.

"Ok where are you now" Zaku growls scanning the area only to look above and throwing mutiple kunai at her.

She beings to perform the hand seals again but once the kunai are close enough she gracefully spins her body dodging some of them one hitting her in the leg and one scraping her arm. She grabbed the closest kunai and drew closer to Zaku, who already thought she was a sub began looking around for her. He was stunned when he felt blood drip on his face.

'This time it's really her oh crap' he thought but it was too late to move trying to block she landing on him stabbing the kunai into his right arm and using her mouth bit his left and held it down to the ground.

"What are you crazy or something get off" Zaku yelled repeatedly punching Hinata in her head and face. "Somebody get this crazy bitch of off me...get her off"

He kept punching and punching blood and bruises becoming clear on her face. She still held on dearly to the kunai stuck in Zaku's arm content on protecting her friends...her Naruto-kun. Blood dripping from her head and nose and even coughing up a small amount, she never would let go. Even after the punching continued she never let go.

'I will not give up...I never give up and I never break a promise...' she thought another voice syncing with hers as she finishes the phrase 'Because that's my Nindo...my Ninja Way'

Finally throwing her off him, Hinata hit the ground hard. "Now you're going to pay" Zaku yelled in pained fury

Hinata raises up and looks back at Zaku still with defiant eye 'I will protect him...I'll protect them all'

"Say good night bitch" Zaku said as he readied his jutsu suddenly three figures land in front of Hinata. It was the Ino-Shika-Cho trio.

"Ino, Shikamaru, Choji what are you doing here?" Hinata asked in a huffed breath her eye a bit blackened from the beating Zaku gave her.

Somewhere...

'What is this...where am I' a young boy called out as he floated in a yellowish space, suddenly he looked over and saw another figure wearing all black standing in front of him.

'Who's this' he took another good look at the boy and saw... 'That's me...from a long time ago'

The younger boy spoke "Tou-san and Kaa-san shouldnt have died it didn't have to happen...they're all dead because I wasn't strong enough to save them...my whole clan has been destroyed. Because I was weak everyone died I couldn't save them. If only I had more power...

The older boy watched his younger self turn into something evil.

'Instead you stood by and let them die so helpless like lambs to the slaughter...if only you had been stronger' the younger boy's voice turning slowly into Orochimaru's 'If only you had more power...'

'Noooooooooo I was changing, I was growing learning to gain power the right way I didnt want this kind of power' the older boy screamed as visions of his teammates, his sensei, his friends flooded his mind

'Yes I have people that care about me and that I care about...' visions of a blonde hair boy, silver haired man, blue haired girl and finally a pink haired girl flashed through his mind then images and words of his brother flooded his mind as well.

'Ive made my choice...I choose...I choose'

Naruto's Mindscape

"KIT...KIT WAKE UP" Kurama bellowed out

Naruto slowly opened his eyes and yawned "Wha...Whats up Kurama" he looked around "Am I still in the mindscape what time is it I thought you said I;d be up by now"

"YOU WILL BE AWAKE IN A LITTLE WHILE BUT SINCE MY CHAKRA HAS BEEN HEALING YOU BODY ALL NIGHT YOU WILL HAVE BUILT UP AN ACCESS AMOUNT AND NEED TO RELIVE SOME OF THE DEMONIC PRESSURE SO IT DOESNT CONSUME YOU" Kurama kinda hated telling his blond host this part but it needed to be said "I HAVE A WAY FOR YOU TO DO THIS IN THE AREA I CAN SENSE 9 PEOPLE AROUND YOUR CURRENT POSITION OF THESE SMELLS 6 ARE FAMILAR TO YOU I BELIEVE THEY ARE YOUR BROTHER, YOUR MATE, THE DUCK HAIRED BOY WHO IS PUTTING OUT SOME MASSIVE DARK CHAKRA, THE PLUMP ONE, YOUR BROTHERS MATE AND THE PINEAPPLE HEADED ONE"

"So you mean Takeru, Hinata-chan, Sasuke, Choji, Ino and Shikamaru...ok ok what the hell is going on who are the other 3 and what do you mean Sasuke is putting out massive dark chakra."

"NEVERMIND KIT ITS BEGUN TO RECEEDED BUT YOU WILL NEED TO TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT LATER AND IM ASSUMING THE OTHER 3 ARE THE ENEMY YOUR BODY IS WAKING UP NOW GO!" not giving him another option Kurama blows Naruto out of the Mindscape

Back with Hinata

After Zaku made the mistake of calling Choji fat all hell broke loose. After what looked like successful moves on there part, Squad 10 was completely unprepared when the other members of the sound ninja were actively ready to kill their own teammate. Said teammate was Kin and right now Ino was in control of her body. Now Shikamaru's shadow had run out and Choji's humanboulder had taken its toll on him.

"Face you guys are pathetic" Zaku started

"From a 2nd rate Village" Dosu finished

"Pretty tough talk I guess that makes you guys what third rate" a prideful cocky voice called out from the tree trunks above

They all looked up to see Squad 9 Neji, Lee and TenTen. Hinata was surprised he was there and with all she'd been through today all she really wanted was for Naruto to wake up.

Boy would she get her wish...
