CH 16 In Control or Pure Rage, The End of the 2nd Exam
"Neji nee-san why are you here" her voice low and ragged still from the earlier...activites
Neji looked down to Hinata's form. He noticed that she didn't stutter and how beaten up she looked. He had seen what she had done and frankly it surprised him that he had wanted to step in but Team 10 went before he could.
"Answer me!" Hinata yelled actually getting upset for him being there. She had tried time and time again to be kind to him, to be friends with him but she remembered the last encounter she had with him.
"Hehe these Genin keep popping out of the woods like cockroaches" Dosu huffed
"Neji..." TenTen asked concerned about her teammate
"Well are you going to stay up there all day or are you going to do something punk" Dosu taunted
His arms crossed he sighed heavily "I am here to fulfill my duty as a Branch Member of the Hyuga Clan, even though she is weak and foolish Hyuga Hinata is a member of the Main Family..." this next part would be like venom on his tongue "...and it is my duty to...protect her...no matter how much I can't stand the sight of her..."
"Hyuga...Neji..."
Everyone froze at the sound of this demonic voice that seemed to have just come out of nowhere.
"...I would recommend you to hold your wretched tongue...lest I turn my wrath upon...you"
Then there was nothing complete silence as everyone had finally locked on to the voice that spoke. All that could be heard in the area where they were was foot steps, drawing closer and closer.
Tap...Tap...Tap...
Hinata had a mixed look on her face, as Naruto continued to walk from his resting spot underneath the roots of the tree. His entire body engulfed in ever flowing red chakra. His bangs hung low covering his eyes from sight yet he just kept walking straight for Hinata, his feet creating mini creators as he walked.
'N...Naruto-kun'
Everyone else was in a state of pure terror. They felt as if they could hardly breathe. Neji the prideful, cocky strong Neji actually had a fearful look upon his face.
'What the hell is this kid his power is...is terrifing' Dosu thought as his body trembled with fear
Shikamaru, Choji and Ino still in Kin's body looked at their friend in awe and fear. They'd never seen him like this ever and it was truly a frightening sight. Naruto continued his slow walk until stopping right next to Hinata, he looks at her all over. He notices the blood and the bruises on her face, her left eye was slightly drooped and blackened, he saw the cut and stab wound on her arm and leg. His eyes then turned to Takeru laid out unmoving barely breathing, seeing all of this cause a guttural growl slip out of his lips causing a shiver to run down everyone's back.
"Hinata-chan...who did this to you...who was it"
Hinata was so scared she couldn't speak, the way it called out her name this was not her Naruto-kun it just couldn't be...could it?
"Naruto-kun what's...happened to you" she asked softly
Naruto noticing the fear in her beautiful white eyes she toned his voice down "Everything is ok Hinata-chan I'm in control..." Hearing his sweet voice again calmed her down and she nodded with a smile. "...now I ask again who did this to you and Takeru nee-san"
'He's still putting out massive waves of evil power and is able to speak to her like that I don't think this is a fight we can survive' Dosu thought as he was about to order a retreat...but it was too late as he teammate was about to speak.
"My partner over here took down your lame excuse for a brother and as for that little bitch I'm the one who fucked her u..." Zaku's words were cut off when he was knocked back into a tree hard.
Everyone was stunned, no one saw Naruto even move but it was clear as Zaku struggled to stand up, he even at some point had grabbed Takeru and brought him next to Hinata. Dosu turned back to look at Naruto and what he saw scared him even more than Orochimaru.
"Those eyes...those blood red eyes" Dosu whispered "this changes everything his chakra is to big...too powerful we're doomed"
"Ino get out of there you don't wanna get involved in this" Shikamaru called out to the controlled Kin. Ino using Kin's body released the jutsu returning to her own body leaving Kin knocked out. Quickly recovering Ino limped over to Takeru, Shikamaru picked him up while Choji helped Hinata up and moved to the spot under the roots next to Sasuke.
Zaku able to move again "I'm going to kill all of you in one false swoop"
"Zaku wait..." Dosu tried to call out put it fell on deaf ears
"SuperSonic Slicing Wave" Zaku called out as a large blast of sound erupted from Zaku's hands aimed at all of the Leaf Genin.
Naruto stood unmoved as the blast neared them all. Slowly drawing his right fist back. "Futon: Senpuken (Wind Release: Whirlwind Fist) " Naruto delivers a punch that released a giant whirlwind that met the Sonic wave directly in the middle easily negating the oncoming attack.
"Tha...that's...impossible he...cut right though my best attack" Zaku looked stunned
Under the root Squad 10 was in shock. "Anybody else recognize that attack" Shikamaru asked
"Yeah Asuma-sensei uses one just like it I guess Naruto's affinity is wind too huh" Choji replied
Ino only nodded as she cradled Takeru's body in her arms, he was breathing steadily. Suddenly his eyes slowly opened as his body cringed in pain. "Takeru-kun you're awake, I'm so glad you're ok"
Takeru smiled and lifted up a short thumbs up, feeling it was to painful to talk at the moment settling to just snuggle up in Ino's arm and what his brother work...wait what the happen was Naruto-kun doing.
As the smoke cleared Naruto stood in the same spot he was before, his chakra flowing around his body still dancing almost like fire. He turned his Kitsunemengan towards Zaku.
"You have threatened my friends and fellow shinobi, harmed my brother and the one I care about the most I should kill you all where you stand..." Naruto's chakra flared ready to release power, until he felt a pair of arms wrap around his chest from behind and soft whimpering. Turning his right he laid one eye on Hinata as she clutched his body tightly.
"Naruto-kun please...just stop it...they are not worth it...please stop" Hinata pleaded no longer afraid of his eyes not even burned by the massive red chakra that flowed around him.
It slowly began to recede into his body only his dojutsu remained activated "...I am truly not in the mood to deal with ones as weak as you take your leave...or feel my wrath" his Kitsunemengan seemed to glow devilishly
"You don't scare me I'll..." Zaku was about to seal The Oto-nins fate before Dosu dashed over and knocked his own teammate out.
"What he just took his own teammate out what the hell is going on" Shikamaru asked. Everyone else just watched on until they heard Sasuke groan and slowly wake up.
Dosu took out his Earth Scroll and placed it on the ground in front of him. "You're a strong one...too strong our target was Sasuke..." he walked over and picked up his teammates "...it would seem we are unable to achieve our goal we will take our leave, but if should happen to we shall once again meet in battle we will not run." He began to walk away.
"Wait..." he stopped seeing Sasuke awake 'amazing he survived'
"What did Or...Orochimaru do to me what is this mark on my neck...why me" Sasuke asked having been filled him by Takeru who told him what Hinata told him
"I don't know, we were just told to target you and we did...but it would seem you have people willing to stick their neck out for you...you should thank them"
And with that said Dosu and his teammates disappeared into the forest.

Naruto sighed thinking into his mindscape 'Do not worry Kurama-sensei if they manage to survive the rest of the exam they will know our power it will be the last thing they see before I end their lives...I simply did not want Hinata-chan to see what I...have in store for them...the Sound has crossed the Leaf's Blazing Fox...they will know death'
