"This is a custom in which balance is preserved by fighting and dying in the world of the Shinobi that is friendship..." Sarutobi the 3rd Hokage began to explain what is so important about the 3rd Exams and the Chunin Exams as a whole.
Three days had passed since Team 7 made it to the tower. Sasuke had recovered from having the seal put on him rejoined his team. Finally the 5th day had come and before the Hokage, the Jonin Sensei's, Anko and other chunin stood 9 Teams a total 25 genin made it through the 2nd exam. Team 6 or just Takeru, Team 7-10, the Oto Team, Kabuto's team, The Suna team and surprisingly a Taki team.
"The third exam is a fight for life with the pride of your village and your own dreams at stake" Sarutobi continued
"Hmph well Jiji sure convinced me" Naruto said with a smirk
"Any test is fine, just tell me what the details of the exam are already I can handle anything you throw at me" and annoyed Gaara added
The Third Hokage cleared his throat "Very well than now listen closely I'm going to tell you exactly what you'll be doing in the third exam..."
Hayate dropped down out of a body flicker "Hokage-sama before you do please allow me to speak first"
'Hmmm I wonder what Hayate-sensei wants' Takeru wondered
"So be it"
Hayate explained that because too many teams made it through the 2nd exam there has to be a preliminary exam to decide the best of the best. This did not go over well with the genin of course. After explaining that it would be a series of 1 on 1 battles he told them that anybody who didn't feel like they were up to full strength could drop out and quit. Soon enough Kabuto and two of the three Taki nin quit, the Taki nin everyone could understand as they had barely made it on time but no one could understand why Kabuto quit again.
'He's quitting again on his 7th try whats his game...something about this guy does not sit well with me' a certain two 'brothers' unknowingly share the same thought
Kabuto walked past all the remaining genin 'Sorry kiddies but I've done my part, I gathered as much information on Sasuke as I could from the shadows now time to carry out my other orders'
"Alright then *cough* if this is all that remains let's begin *cough*" Hayate finished looking towards Anko
"Raise the panel" she ordered through the head set she wore. Behind her and the large hands that formed the tiger seal one of the four panels opened revealing a screen, suddenly all the names of the remaining genin began to shuffle.
First up to bat...Uchiha Sasuke vs Akado Yoroi
"First huh very well then" Sasuke said glaring at his opponent
"Well that's not fair oh well you better not lose Sasuke"
"Wouldn't dream of it dobe besides...there are stronger opponents here I want the fight and Naruto...you're the one I wanna fight the most" Sasuke said with a smirk
"Hmph like wise teme" Naruto replied with a smirk of his own
"Everyone other than *cough* the two fighters please go up stairs" Hayate asked and everyone did as they were told with all the genin standing by their Jonin sensei. "Alright *cough* are the fighters ready..." both nodded "...let the *cough* first match begin"
With the curse seal not bothering him or his chakra Sasuke laid waste to his opponent. In a bit of a show offy move and also not wanting to let this guy touch him Sasuke pulled a Kakashi. Copying the moves from his earlier fight with Rock Lee he kicked Yoroi in the air and perfomed the Kage Buyo (Shadow of the Dancing Leaf).
"The Kage Buyo" Yoroi was shocked at how fast Sasuke moved. In the rafters some of the genin were either impressed, non caring or in Rock Lee's case a bit shocked
"I'll admit I borrowed that first move but from here on in it's all orignal" Sasuke told Yoroi as he began a series of kicks and punches falling from the air until they were a couple of inches from the ground Sasuke brought his leg down hard on to Yoroi's gut "Shishi Rendan (Lions Barrage)"
Hayate checked on Yoroi and determined he was unconscious "Winner of the first match Uchiha Sasuke"
With the Genins
Team 6
Takeru just stood there and nodded his head as he had sort of predicted the outcome of that fight.
Team 8
"Well that didn't last long, it would have been better if we had fought him aye Akamaru" Kiba said reciving a yip from his pup
Sakura stood there and watched as Sasuke walked to the stairs 'Congrats Sasuke-kun...I hope...I hope you see me as a stronger kunoichi and not a fan girl after my fight'
Shino just stood there silently.
Team 9
"Lee was that the beginning to the Primary Lotus" Tenten asked her teammate
"Yes it was..." Lee replied 'So that is the power of the sharingan'
Neji stood there impassively, glancing at Naruto and Hinata every now and then "Hmph"
Team 10
"This is so troublesome glad I didn't have to fight him" Shikamaru said yawning
"Yea me too hey when do we eat im starving" Choji added
Ino just sighed at both her teammates "Come on you guys you gotta get pumped if you wanna win" she finished 'Just you wait, I'm going to show Takeru-kun and everyone here just how much stronger I've become'
The Suna Team
Gaara was beginning to tremble in anticipation. This caused his brother, sister and sensei to become uneasy
Sasuke walked up to join his teammates. "Congratulations on you victory Sasuke-san"
"Thanks Hinata" Sasuke replied shocking team 7 abit
"Yes Sasuke I wonder though, where did you pick up that first move you used" Kakashi asked in a cool monotone voice
Naruto snickered "From the ass whooping someone received earlier"
Hinata gasped and even giggled a bit "Naruto-kun that's not nice"
"Watch your self dobe you might be next and might lose I wonder what Hinata here would say about that" Sasuke taunted
Both Hinata and Naruto blushed but before anything else could be said Hayate spoke.
"On to the *cough* 2nd match"
The names shuffled again to reveal Aburama Shino vs Abumi Zaku
"Alright time to wipe the floor with this punk" Zaku said as he stood before Shino who stood there stoic as ever
"If you fight me you wont be able to recover forfit and withdraw" Shino said stoicly
Naruto glared at the sound ninja with murderous intent. Hinata just glared at him but noticed the look Naruto was giving him and simply placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him down.
"Hey Kiba do you think Shino will be alright" Sakura asked her teammate
"He's alright don't worry about him...he's the last person here id ever wanna take on" Kiba replied
Hayate looked at both boys and backed away "Canidates Ready...begin"
Zaku wasted no time in rushing forward to punch Shino who quickly blocked it. "This is your last warning"
"Yea right punk take this Slicing Sound wave" Zaku yelled blasting Shino to the side. He quickly got up and Zaku was on him again Shino kicked at Zaku who dodged to the side and was about to throw another punch. Shino caught it and threw Zaku over his shoulder landing hard.
As Zaku got up everyone in the building could hear a small strange noise and wondered where it was coming from. Zaku looked around and then turned back to Shino and saw it. Small beetles crawling on Shino's body.
'What the hell he's got bug coming out of him like a human hive, this guys a freakshow' Zaku thought. "Great now that you've creeped us all out whats next?" he taunted until hearing the scurrying noise behind him.
"Your defeat..." Shino said adjusting his glasses "...If you attack me then my army will suck your chakra dry, on the other hand if you attack them you'll have me at your blind spot its wise to always have an ace in the hole" Shino spoke
Zaku's desperate thinking lead him to place both his arms facing his enemies the bugs and Shino "Like you said yourself its good to have an ace in the hole RIGHT!"
"Oh no Shino watch out" Sakura called out to her teammate
"I'll blow you away!" Zaku begin pumping chakra into his arms only for them to burst at his elbows access chakra exploding from them. "Ahhhh my arms whats wrong with them" Zaku cried in pain as his arms now hung limp in front of him.
Naruto smiled at the utter pain the boy was in but it would not yet satisfy his call for the Sound nins death for hurting Hinata-chan.
Shino appeared behind Zaku "Every time you made contact with me I placed plenty of my beetles on your arms to plug up those holes...see while an Ace in the hole is good two aces are better than one" Shino finished delivering a strong back fist knocking Zaku unconscious.
"Id say this one *cough* has had it the winner is Aburama Shino" Hayate called out
While the medics took Zaku away the genin of team 9 tried to figure out exactly what Shino was. After that conversation, Dosu declaring pseudo revenge for his so called fallen teammate, and Shino returning to his team, Hayate called for the third match and after the names shuffled he was slightly pleased and worried.
Yoto Takeru vs Shimino Hoki
'Tch just my luck its the leader of that Taki team me and Naruto took out *sigh* with my luck he'll be looking for revenge or something' Takeru thought as he walked down the stairs to join his godfather and his opponent
Ino smiled and yelled "Whoo go get em Takeru-kun wipe the floor with him, show him what real Konoha shinobi can do"
Sasuke and Shino both got small tick marks on their head at this and unknowingly thought the same thing 'So what am I chopped liver'
Takeru closed his eyes and smiled at this shaking his head and Hoki got even more pissed then he already was. "Who is that your girlfriend or something man wont she be embarrassed to see she's dating a loser, once I'm done with you maybe I'll take her back to Taki with me she's got some nice legs"
Naruto begin to snicker gaining the attention of his team and sensei.
"Whats so funny" Sasuke asked his arms crossed leaning against the wall
"Oh nothing just laughing at what the guy from Taki said"
"Why is that Naruto-kun" Hinata asked
"Because he just sealed his defeat just watch and you'll see" Naruto said with a smile 'You've got this Nii-san'
Takeru's eyes remained closed, Hayate knowing full well whats about to happen nodded "Combatants ready *cough* begin" he said backing away.
They both stood there still this angered the Taki nin very much. "Fine stand there with your eyes closed I'll just kill for what you did to me in the forest of death."
Hoki back flipped away and ran through hands signs the held his left hand out. "Takigakure-Ryū: Mizukiri no Yaiba (Hidden Waterfall Style: Water Slicing Blade). A small vortex of water begin to form in his hand and once he closed it the water formed into a sword.
'Well that a bit impressive knowing that high level jutsu as a genin well Takeru how will you handle this' Hayate thought along with several other older shinobi in attendance
"Still with your eyes closed fool fine prepare to DIE!" Hoki begin to dash forward with the intent to slice Takeru's head off.
Takeru opened his eyes and jumped high in the air over the advancing boy's attack. "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu" Takeru fired a medium-sized fireball while in mid air at the Taki nin below. Alot of the spectators were impressed, even Sasuke was acknowledging Takeru's talent for Katon justu.
Hoki smirked "Fool this sword can even cut through fire jutsu" he yelled out Raising his water sword above his head he brought it down with a great slash slicing the fire ball in half, this surprised alot of the genin. The water connecting with fire made a small mist pocket. Takeru had latched him self on the roof with chakra as soon as he let the fire-ball out. He then went through many hand seals and begin charging the move he had been wanting to try out for so long.
With the Genins
Team 7
"Naruto-kun what is that" Hinata whispered to her blonde teammate
Naruto smiled "Its my brothers signature move he's been working on it ever since the Academy Graduation...he got it from the same place I learned how to do shadow clones"
Hinata nodded, Sasuke was a bit peeved that this kid already knew two chakra natures, however hearing that last bit of information peaked Kakashi's interest.
'I thought that jutsu looked familar the Raikyū is basically where I got the idea for my chidori from with a few modifications of course' Kakashi internally chuckled
Team 8
"Whoa who knew Takeru was this advanced" Sakura said in awe
"Well I would assume he'd have to be in order to take the Chunin exams by himself" Shino added in a stoic voice
Kiba huffed "I still say I could take him...but I wonder he and Naruto have been training together since they were kids...if Takeru is this strong...how strong is Naruto"
Kurenai stood by and listened to her genin. 'Kiba raises a good point, this kid is pretty impressive to not be from any clan and he's been around Naruto since they were young this will be interesting to see'
Team 9
"So he's from the rookies to huh, I will admit he's a tad bit impressive but I dont think he can beat Neji or you Lee" Ten Ten told her teammates
Neji scoffed, Lee on the other hand stared at the fight but it was Guy sensei who spoke up "Ten Ten you should know better than to underestimate any shinobi, he did pass through the 2nd exam by himself now that what I call showing off his POWER OF YOUTH"
Both he and Lee shot their fist in the air and yelled "YOSH"
Team 10
"So what do you think Shikamaru who will win" Choji asked rubbing his stomach as it growled "An when do we eat geez"
"Its so troublesome you'd even ask Choji, take a look at what's in his hand...the outcome is already set
Ino said nothing she just stared at her boyfriend lovingly. She didn't appreciate that crack from the Taki nin earlier but she knew that other then winning just to move one Takeru was defending her honor as well. 'You can do it Take-kun'
Asuma Sarutobi was impressed with this kid.
The sand shinobi said nothing, as did the remaining ninja from Kabuto's squad.
Team Dosu
'Hmph I hope the punk dies' Dosu thought
Hoki shot out of the mist headed for Takeru intending on finishing the fight but what he didn't see...was that the fight was already over.
"Now Rai Naguru (Lightning Punch)" Takeru finished charging the ball of lightning and compressed it in his fist and lept forward. Both boys met in a clash, Takeru had yet to finish perfecting the Raikyu to where it could be thrown but he could still hold it in his hand and force punch it at an opponent. The fist of Lightning clashing with the water sword lead to a small explosion knocking both boys to the ground. Takeru rebounded and landed skidding backwards, Hoki on the other hand landed hard against the ground his body convulsing due to a lingering shocking after effect he soon passed out.
"The third match is over *cough* winner Yoto Takeru" Hayate said proudly as the medics ran out to grab Hoki, Takeru began to walk past his sensei "Good job son *cough* I'm proud of you" he whispered
"Thank you Tou-san" Takeru replied walking back up the stairs he passed Team 9 and 8. Joining up with Team 7 Hinata offered him a genuine smile and congratulations, Sasuke simply nodded.
"I knew you'd win nii-san" Naruto said fist bumping his brother
Takeru smiled "Yea I guess I'm just ready to be done with this exam" he took a glance at team 10 mostly Ino who smiled back at him "There are matters I have to attend to"
This cause Hinata's cheeks to turn red, Naruto shook his head and smirked with a bit of a blush, Sasuke just grunted taking a very slight glance at Sakura. Kakashi let out a little perverted giggle. 'All these genin growing up before my eyes'
And with that the matches continued. The Suna-nin Sabaku Kankuro went up against the last of Kabuto's team a guy named Tsurugi Misumi who had the ability to use his limbs to wrap around his target. This earned him a slight upperhand as he was shown breaking Kankuro's neck but the sand nin truly had the upper hand and came out the victor. The next match was a bit of a shocker as it was Sakura vs Ino, the two long time friends gave it there all. Sakura showed that she had greatly improved in genjutsu as her sensei was the Genjutsu mistress, but her taijutsu was still only basic academy level which matched up against Ino who had trained with Takeru to improve on her taijutsu seem hopeless. Both eventually used up most of their chakra and and it came down to a final blow from both that knocked each other out. Each one the Konoha 10 was impressed with their fight, Takeru was proud of how far Ino had come with her taijutsu. Hell even Sasuke was impressed by how close it came to Sakura winning because of how strong her genjutsu's were, though he'd never admit it out loud. Next was TenTen vs the beautiful Suna female Sabaku Temari, and even with all her weapons the fight was one sided and Temari came out the victor. Lazy bone Shikamaru was up next against the Oto nin's female member Kin and suprising many in attendance Shikamaru out smarted her and won.
"And on *cough* to the next match..." Hayate spoke as the names on the screen shuffled until...
"Yahoooo alright Akamaru its our turn" Kiba yelled out as he begin heading down
Naruto gave a foxy grin "Finally its my turn, I was getting stiff just standing up here"
"Good luck Naruto-kun" Hinata told her blonde teammate as he began to walk past her
He gave a thumbs up and smiled a genuine smile at her, one that made her heart flutter "Thanks Hinata-chan with you on my side I know I cant lose" this caused a massive blush to redden the young girls face. Naruto then removed his sword and scabbard and handed it to her. "Could you hold on to this for me I wont be using it"
"O...of course" she replied grabbing the weapon and unconsciously held it close to her heart
"You'd better not lose baka" Sasuke quipped
Naruto smirked "As if beside who saved who in the Forest of Death" he whispered to where only Team 7 could hear it. This pissed Sasuke off, made Kakashi chuckle and Hinata well she was still beat red. As Naruto headed down the stairs he and Takeru shared a glance and only a nod of the head between the two.
Finally both boy faced each other. "So you're my oppenet Kiba well it seems ive already won" Naruto stated cockily
"Hey teme that's my line...you're going down" Kiba growled back
"We'll see, so whose gonna fight me you or Akamaru cause honestly he'd be a better oppenent" Naruto chuckled
A tick mark popped up on Kiba's face "You're a cocky bastard aren't you fine then I'll show you Akamaru stay right here he's mine"
With the Genins
Team 8
"Gooo Kiba show em who's top dog" Sakura yelled out rooting for her teammate
Shino just watched the two fighters closely 'This promises to be interesting can Naruto beat Kiba'
Kurenai glanced at Naruto then Kakashi 'He's matured a bit but I don't think he can stand against Kiba once he gets...wild'
Team 10
"Do you think Kiba can win, I mean what if that kid uses that power against him" Choji asked his teammates
"I don't know Choji but I don't think he would use that power against a friend...I think" Shikamaru responded as Ino nodded along with him
Team 9
Neji who had his arms crossed just simply clenched his arm.
Lee heard choji's question and looked at Naruto and remembered the battle in the forest and Naruto's words. 'Everything is ok Hinata-chan I'm in control...IM IN CONTROL'
'Naruto-kun I wish it was me fighting you a match like that would be most youthful indeed'
Team Suna
"Hey thats the same little loud mouth shirmp, I wonder how long he'll last" Kankuro said
Temari remained silent and she remembered the feeling of dread she got from this kid the first time they met, a feeling she only thought that her brother was the only one to give her that feeling.
Gaara stood there shaking in antcipation again. 'I don't know what this feeling is but he will be the one, I will feed his blood to mother'
Baki looked at Gaara 'Oh no...I know that look'
Dosu was the only one left in his team he looked at Naruto with disgust and a bit a fear. 'This kid is too dangerous to be left alive'
Team 7
'The moments finally here go on Naruto-kun show us how much you've grown' Kakashi thought
Sasuke glared down at his teammate and rival 'Dont lose dobe'
Hinata still holding Naruto's sword to her chest tightly 'You can do it Naruto-kun'
Hayate raised his hand "Both combatants ready let the 8th match begin"
Kiba waste no time "Shikyaku no Jutsu (Ninja Art of Beast Mimicry: All-Fours Jutsu)" enveloping his entire body in chakra and getting down on all fours he dashed forward at high speed delivering an elbow to Naruto's gut knocking him flat on his back.
Kiba chuckled "See you're all talk and no action call the match proc..."
Kiba was stopped by the sound of laughter, he turned to see Naruto laying down laughing his ass off. Everyone (except for Takeru, Team 7, 9 and 10) who at first thought the match was over was either sighing a breath of reilef or confused at why the boy was laughing.
Still laughing Naruto got up and wiped the blood away from his lip "That tickled...really Kiba if thats all you got maybe you should use the dog or maybe Uncle Hayate should just call the match right now to save you the embarassment of losing"
"Damn it stop begin so damn cocky you cant beat Naruto just face it" Kiba growled grinding his teeth
"But Kiba it's because I CAN beat you that I'm being cocky" Naruto said calmly folding his arms over his chest
With Team 7
"So thats what he's doing" Kakashi said
Sasuke's ears perked up "What do you mean Kakashi"
"Well Naruto is being extra cocky in this match..." he began
"I don't really see a difference" Sasuke smirked
"...point taken but he is trying to set Kiba up, get him so riled up that he's bound to make a mistake" Kakashi pointed out in a teacher like tone then he heard. "THATS IT IM GOING TO RIP YOU APART BAKA" this made him chuckle "See what I mean"
Kiba reached in his pouch and grabbed two smoke bombs and tossed them. "Come on Akamaru"
The smoke bombs burst and surrounded Naruto. Out of the cloud of smoke all that could be heard was. "Futon: Reppusho" this stopped Kiba and Akamaru in their tracks as a large gust of wind was expelled from the center point where Naruto stood dispelling the cloud of smoke and blowing his oppnents away slightly.
All of the older shinobi in attendance aside from Kakashi were impressed.
'Naruto-kun you've grown and continue to grow' Sarutobi thought
'So he's a wind user huh impressive' this thought ran through the minds of Asuma and Temari alike
"Alright time to show my stuff, you watching jiji-sama this is my first step in coming for your job" Naruto said loudly directed at the Hokage as he ran through hand seals while Kiba and Akamaru got up. 'You ready Kurama-sensei'
"GRRR YOU WOKE ME UP FROM MY NAP BUT YES I AM READY KIT"
Naruto smiled "Kuchiyose no Jutsu" this got alot of the spectators attention as he slammed his hand down and was covered in a large puff of smoke.
Spectators
The Hokage was truly suprised. 'Naruto-kun'
Team 6
'Whoa thats new Naruto-kun when did you learn to summon' a shocked Takeru thought
Team 7
"What the hell since when could he summon" Sasuke growled out 'Just how strong are you...Naruto'
'Naruto-kun you keep getting stronger Im happy...it makes me want to become stronger' Hinata thought with a blush on her face as she watched her blonde love
"Well well you're just full of surprises aren't you Naruto" Kakashi said as he watched the smoke cover Naruto
Team 8
"What he can summon, when the hell did Naruto get so so...strong" Sakura blurted out
Shino and Kurenai just remained silent as they watched the match.
Team 9
'Just how strong is this kid...' Neji thought in disgust
"Oh wow Naruto-kun can summon that is amazing is it not" Lee asked Guy
"It sure is Lee it is most youthful" Guy replied with a thumbs up and sparkle smile
"Yosh" was Lee's response
Team 10
"Geez just how much training does Naruto do" Choji asked as his stomach grumbled
"I dont know but damn its troublesome he never showed this kind of progress back in class" Shikamaru stated
"You're right" Ino looked on
'To be a wind user and know the summoning jutsu...just what kind of training does Kakashi put them through' Asuma thought
Everyone else was either impressed or didn't care. As Kiba and Akamaru prepared themselves the smoke cleared. What was seen caused alot of sweat drops around the arena and some worry from alot of the Konoha adults. Standing next to Naruto was a small white fox with black tips on its ears and nose, huge red eyes with black slits in them, one tail swaying back and forth, its paws were covered in black fur that changed into white going up and on its forehead sat a large black diamonds. Naruto bent down and began petting its head making it yip in delight.
(Pretty much guys look up a picture of Sango's fox from Inyuhasha Kirara, that will be the design of all the foxes he summons except Kurama.)
"That little squirt is gonna beat me and help you become Hokage yeah right its smaller than Akamaru geez man I thought you were actually gonna do something great here but I guess not..." he popped a pill and then gave one to Akamaru this cause his fur to turn red and both looked more feral.
"Lets go Akamaru" Kiba said in a feral voice as the dog yipped and jumped on top of him
'Thats it Kiba's going for the kill what chance Naruto stood its gone now' Kurenai thought to her self
The little fox nuzzled up to Naruto as he continued to pet it. 'Naruto-sama how may I be of help' she spoke to him through the telepathic link
Naruto smiled 'You wanna play a game Iroya, you see that red dog over there...' the fox nodded '...don't lose sight of him at all and keep him away from me but dont hurt him these are my friends you got it?'
'Hai Naruto-sama' Iroya thought as she began yipping and standing on all fours, mean while Naruto stood up and spread his legs, drooped his back and dangled his arms in front of him. His nails and teeth elongated, his hair and whiskers became more pronounced and a thin layer of red chakra begin to swirl around him.
This put the Hokage and all of the Jonin and Chunin present on edge. They all looked to the Hokage for orders on what to do. "Hokage-sama is that what I think it is" Anko asked in a whisper
"Yes I believe it is but do not make a move until I give the order, I have faith in Naruto-kun...we are not in any danger"
Hearing this brought a smile to Naruto's lips. His bangs covered his eyes but as he lifted his head up everyone could see it his eyes blazing red and a feral grin on his lips. Most who had never seen this transformation were impressed, but those who had seen it and knew the power behind it were terrified except for Team 6,7 and 10.
"Jujin Bunshin (Man Beast Clone)" Kiba yelled out as Akamaru transformed into a clone of Kiba both with a crazy feral look in their eyes. They dashed foward
"Lets go Iroya!" Naruto growled out as the little fox dashed and head butted The Akamaru Kiba in a blink of and eye. The strike was so strong it reversed the transformation.
Gasps could be heard everywhere. Kiba in mid dash looked back to his companion.
"Fool didn't they teach you not to give your opponent an opening" Naruto said as he punched Kiba backward. Kiba was shocked but rebounded and continued his assualt.
"Gatsūga" Kiba yelled as he begin to spin at a ferocious speed and slammed into Naruto knocking him back into the wall.
With Team 7
'Thats the Inuzuka Clan secret Taijutsu Gatsuga' Kakashi thought and then noticed something "Hmmm"
"Whats wrong Kakashi-sensei" Hinata asked
"Have you noticed anything different about Naruto in the fight" he replied
Hinata took a long look at Naruto hoping he was alright but she didn't get what Kakashi was pointing out.
"He's just toying with Kiba, he hasn't removed his leg and wrist weights none of us have" Sasuke answered nonchalantly
"Exactly meaning this fight was Naruto's from the moment he stepped up to bat" Kakashi replied with an eye smile
This conversation was overheard by Lee, Gai and Team 8 promting them to take a closer look at the fight.
Hinata smiled "COME ON NARUTO-KUN YOU CAN WIN" she yelled out suprising alot of the Konoha shinobi even the Hokage.
Hearing this Naruto got up and smiled "Ok...Ill admit Kiba that one hurt, man Id love to spar with you once this is over and trust me as of now this...is...over"
"Oh yeah what makes you say that squirt it's not over yet" Kiba said taking this time to run toward Akamaru
Naruto jumped from his spot on the wall and ran at incredible speed hopping against the other wall and landing in between Iroya who kept a paw holding Akamaru down. Kiba wasnt ready to defend and caught a front kick to the chin lifting him up in the air
Making a familiar hand seal Naruto yelled out "Like I said Kiba its over Kage Bunshin no Jutsu"
5 more Naruto's appeared and they all rushed off. "Vulpine Taijutsu...Two clones jumped from the ground up to the ceiling and bounced off one hit Kiba then the other. "Uzumaki...Then three more appeared above him and all kicked him down hard. As he fell his body turned so it appeared that he would land face first. Suddenly the real Naruto appeared directly under the falling Kiba raising a closed fist it connected to Kiba's gut stopping his decent and making him lose air he was knocked out. "...Blazing Fox Barrage!"
He gently sat Kiba down on the ground. Hayate walked over and checked on Kiba, seeing that his was still if struggling to breath.
"The Winner is Uzumaki Naruto" Hayate declared all be it a bit proudly
There where mumurs from everyone. Some about the victory, others about how strong Naruto had become. Many of the adult shinobi in the area were impressed and a bit relieved at the level of control the boy had on the Kyuubi's power.
Iroya climbed up Naruto's arm and rested on his shoulder (sort of like Pikachu does) as he walked up the stairs to join his team. He passed Team 8 and then stopped and bowed.
"Kiba is indeed strong and had played it a little closer to the chest he would have destroyed me, whatever training you are doing keep it up Kurenai-sensei"
This sudden change suprised Kurenai and the rest of Team 8 but they nodded anyway. Naruto reached his team and was met with a nod from Sasuke, and an eye smile and thumbs up from Kakashi.
Takeru fist bumped with his little brother "Way to go Naruto-kun"
"Congratulations Naruto-kun..." Hinata smiled genuinely looking into his cerulean eyes "...I knew you could do it" she handed him his sword back
"Thank you Hinata-chan that means alot" he smiled right back as Iroya hopped from Naruto's shoulder on to Hinata who caught her and began petting the small fox
"Very impressive Naruto to think you can summon now I wonder where you picked up that technique" Kakashi asked
Naruto sweat dropped as he watched Hinata cuddle and play with Iroya, he was about to speak before he saw the names begin to suffle the names shown set his blood boiling
