AN: Hey everyone! This story doesn't take place at a specific time, so imagine it however you'd like. The plot of this one is basically Carlos gets sick and Jay takes care of him. Small TW for abuse mentions and emetophobia, but thats all! Enjoy the story!

Jay laughs with Ben, Chad and all the others on the team. Tourney practice had just ended- finally. The team had a game against their arch rivals, the Werewolfs. The practice had been two hours long, with no break. Jay wiped the sweat off his forehead as he changed quickly, and ran back outside towards the dorms. The smile on his face is quickly smacked off when he realizes Carlos isn't in his black and white bed. He glances around the room in a pnic for a note when he hears shuffling from the bathroom. Jay runs over faster then he expected himself to go. He opens the door to a pale Carlos clutching the toilet like he'll die if he lets go. Carlos looks up to tell Jay to go away before his lunch controls him once again and sticks his head right back over the toilet bowl. Jay cringed slightly when Carlos heaved into the toilet bowl, but stood by his boyfriend as he continued to gag. When he finished, Carlos stumbled back to his bed. Jay would have thought he was drunk on chocolate again, if he had not been there a minute before when Carlos lost his lunch. "Try to get some sleep please." Jay prepared a puke bucket and some medicine next to the nightstand. He grabs the remote and flips on some boring animal channel or something. Carlos's weakness. Jay heard snoring from the other bed in less then 5 minutes, a new record. Jay chuckled, not realizing Carlos was in hell... in his mind.

Carlos's dream

Cruella was in one of her moods. She pulled out a giant plate, as Carlos realizes in horror what was happening just as his insane mother started pileing rotten food on the plate. He almost wished she had just starved him again. As he ate more and more, he felt his stomach screaming. He had to keep eating, or his mother would keep hurting him. He wanted to cry but that showed weakness, and villians didn't cry. He kept eating until his mother told him he could go. He crawled outside into an alley next to the De Vil house. He sobbed as quiet as he could, before heaving into a barrel. Cruella stormed around the corner, to the horror of her son showing weakness. She came closer and closer, before the first punch occured.

Jay shook Carlos awake and he whipped his head around the room, but he didn't see his insane mother anywhere. What he did see is that he had vomited all over himself. Again. Yippee. He didn't realize he was crying until Jay wrapped him in a hug. "Did you have another nightmare?" He nodded, ashamed that he had showed emotion. Jay understood. All four of them had nightmares, but no one in Auradon knew besides Ben. He had walked in one night when Carlos was having a panic attack. Carlos started to clean himself up, it was about 10:00. He changed his sheets and went back to bed, afraid his mother was going to haunt him in his dreams again, before Jay crawls up into his bed and hugs him until his eyelids start to droop and he finds himself in a dreamland once again.

AN: Maybe that wasn't as crappy as I thought? Sorry, it's short but longer chapters coming up. Have a great day - Madi 3
