Ch 34 Time to get to Work

"Ah finally we're home..." Naruto stated excitedly as they grew closer to the village gates "...I cant wait to get some Ramen"

Takeru shivered "Ummm Im glad someones excited Im not really ready to get beat up again for being gone from Ino for so long...she will not be happy"

The group laughs at the young shinobi's plight, after a couple more chuckles from Tsunade "Worry not Takeru I'll be sure to add you to the mission payment roster that should cover your hospital bills"

The boy groaned more and caused more laughter from the group. This laughter reached the ears of the guards at the gate and they were shocked to see the large group arriving. They noticed Naruto holding hands with a blushing Hyuuga Heiress, Takeru talking adamently to an slightly older woman holding a pig and Jiriaya walking next too a tall blonde woman with a very large bust.

"Is that who I think it is?" one the guards spoke

The other nodded "It is its one of the other sannins Lady Tsunade"

As the group reached the gate and all gave their id. Jiriaya gave them his official mission report they were finally let into the village and soon all went their seperate ways. Hinata and Takeru both went home promising to meet up with Naruto later, Jiriaya ushered Tsunade and Shizune to the Hokage tower while Naruto headed directly to Ichiraku's.

The village itself was in the middle of its day. Iruka stood teaching his class when Raido opened the door and whisphered something in his ear, with this he dismissed class early. 3 of his students Konohamaru's group were excited about getting out early. As the walked Kono noticed something wrong as he looked up to the Tower and noticed things being moved from his grandfathers office. Konohamaru is visibly saddened by the fact that his grandfather's things were being removed from the Hokage's office because of the new Fifth Hokage. As Konohamaru rushes up the stairs of the Academy to stop them, he accidentally runs head-first into Tsunade's bust.

'Oh this day is gonna be interesting' Tsunade thought

With Naruto

Iruka who had joined Naruto for a bowl of ramen explained that they must not show other villages that they were currently weak, so they must do as many missions as they had done before Orochimaru's invasion, even though their strength had been cut in half.

"No worries give me all the missions I'll get em done" Naruto smiled slurping another bowl of ramen

Iruka just laughed "Didnt you just get back how you get some rest first kid"

"I will I will just as soon as we get Sasuke and Kakashi-sensei healed up which reminds me I gotta go find baachan" he quickly got up and dashed off "Thanks Iruka-sensei" was the last thing heard as he left

Iruka chuckled then thought 'wait why did he thank me I didnt...' he looked over and saw the 10 empty bowls and Ayame's smiling face. "That little runt" he sighs as he pulls out his wallet

With Hinata

She was shocked when she arrived home to find her father waiting for her to arrive. He had her things taken to her room.

"Hinata I...I am glad you've returned to us safe...will you walk with me?"

She still felt anger towards him for the truth she learned during the chunin exam but she at least owed it to her father to explain.

"Very well" she nodded and followed him as they walked

With Tsunade

Not wasting any time Koharu and Homura are ready to swear the woman in office the same day they get back to the village

"Listen carefully Tsunade we must notify the feudal lords at once that the 5th Hokage has finally arrived in the villiage, all the preparations must begin at once for the installation ceramony"

Tsunade tries to persaude them to forgo the ceremony but Koharu insisted and summoned Genma and Aoba to send word that in 3 days time they will welcome the next Hokage to the village

As she finally escaped the old buzzards in her words she is met upon by Naruto.

"Dont forget the other reasons you came back Baachan Kakashi-sensei, Sasuke and Lee need your help"

She smiled as his determined voice and his care for his friends "Very well lets head over there"

Infirmary

Sakura sat there watching Sasuke as he slept, she was devatstated when she heard that he had been hurt and had been by his side ever since. She was stirred from her thoughts when a voiced asked is she could come in.

"Who are you?" the pinkette asked

Before the woman could answer Naruto came in and noticed his former crush next to his best friends bed. "Oh hey Sakura, I had a feeling you'd be here but dont worry she's gonna fix everything" he stated pointing a thumb back over he shoulder at the older blonde

Tsunade was well-known as a great medical ninja, and she healed Sasuke who slowly opened his eyes and sat up. Sakura's eyes begin to water as she quickly latched on to him sobbing

"You're back buddy, thank Kami" Naruto smiled but then was met upon by hug from Sakura

"Thank you Naruto for bringing her back to heal him I could never repay you" she sobbed

"Hey Sakura its alright he's my teammate I'd do anything I could to protect him...to protect you all" he smiled "Now let me go we've gotta go fix Kakashi-sensei too

Soon she went and healed Kakashi slightly berating him for losing in a fight with Itachi even thought she knew that boy was a tough one. She finally visited Lee after persistent nagging from Naruto and Gai, and told him that he should give up being a ninja. There were fragments of bone in his spine, and the one operation that could be done and could only be done by her had a 50% chance of either curing or killing him. This news not going over very well with both student and sensei, Lee walks out of the room contemplating what Tsunade had just told him.

With Hinata

She was at a lost for words at everything she had spoken with her father about. He like he did with Neji told Hinata the full truth about his twin brothers sacrifice. She cursed the council then thought back to the other things that they talked about and she cursed the council even more.

'Im sorry daughter, I hope one day you can find it in your heart to forgive me but I will find away to save you from this fate'

Hinata kept walking until she stopped at her destination, she looked up to see the Yoto Residence. She knocked on the door and was greeted by Maruya.

"Good evening dear please do come in"

Hinata smiled "Thank you"

The two sat down for tea and Maruya noticed the bag the young kunoici brought with her. "Ummm where is Naruto-kun?"

"Im sorry he's off dealing with Konohamaru something about the young boy blockading himself in the Hokage's office he should be back soon...is everything alright dear?

Hinata took a long sip of her tea and then stared at it "No it is not"

The Next Day

Just minutes before Tsunade was to be inaugurated as the Fifth Hokage in front of the villagers. Shizune stumbled upon an open book on Tsunade's desk. It showed a series of mathematical equations surrounding a chart of a body. "50%" was written and crossed out, followed by an arrow pointing to a circle, which contained "58%", and Shizune could only smile.

Please forgive the long wait Im finally getting a chance to update all of my stories and their concepts luckily this is one of the stories that's concept was already completed before my job switch up and now Ive gotten back into my groove in order to get this Arc started you will get at least 3 chapters this month
