No Mind Vs. No Mercy
"Hello again. This is doctor Marcus Angevin and I'm here to discuss the incident that happened on the seventeen of Friday. Before telling you how this incident happened from my perspective, I should tell you how it began and why. But I was not the only one who had to experience this. Both Tony and a nurse called, Myra, were there and they have their versions of how this went down. Sadly, though, from what I gathered from both in-person and from security monitors is not much I can properly discuss, but I can make a hypothesis towards some initial occurrences. Regardless of that, I'll still tell you all about what happened, just let me switch to a new tape."
"When it began was on a late Friday afternoon, it was five-thirty and everything was running smoothly, not even a single commotion from any of the patients. I was in my office, at the time, doing paperwork, the nurse that I mentioned was roaming the halls. I almost forgot to state this in my last entry's. The facility is a four-story complex that is 2.5 five miles long or forty-four yards in length. Where I was on the second floor and where the nurse was on the same floor but she and I were on opposite sides of each other. To be more clear, the back of the hospital was facing north, and where I was on my end, was the hospital facing east, and where the nurse was at the west end. Also, the facility is one big square that is connected around one another, meaning that all hallways and/or sections are connected from one end to the next in a circle. Regardless of the layout, I was at my end and she was at her end, the two patients that caused a whole of trouble were on the third floor but were placed in different sections."
"Not to delay the story anymore, the incident began about a quart around six and it started with Billy's room. A surveillance camera feed and an investigation that helped uncover several hidden clues, helped me understand what happened, mainly starting with Bill's room. Apparently, Billy managed to escape his room by picking his door lock and even short-circuiting his door keycard lock. How he managed to do this was from having prep time and existing knowledge, which is impossible because no one tells him about his door's locks. Regardless, once he left, he organized a scheme of some sort and aimed it at Tony. This next part should be told by both Tony and Myra, since they were caught up by this, sooner than me."
In the perspective of both Tony and Myra.
"Hello, I guess I should tell you about my side of the story on how this situation between me and Billy happened. I only remember getting out of my room and encountering him for a while." Said Tony.
"H-hello, my name is Myra and I have been working here for the last two years and I've been told to discuss my experience with the lead doctor who was in charge for the two patients that fought. I don't know much about the two but I hope that my side of the story helps with understanding how things went." Said Myra.
"Anyways, I was relaxing in my room and listening to music and drawing in my sketchbook. It was around six that the door to my room was open and that I hear a message on the speaker. It said, "Hello there Tony if you can hear me, I want you and me to see each other in the next three minutes. I know that you don't know me but I do know you and that's why I want you to see me and get to know me. Now I left a trail for you but, don't wait all night because I don't like being ignored. Well, see you soon.", and that's when I got nervous and got out of my room and into the hallway." Said Tonny.
"When I got out, I saw several other inmates out of their rooms and were scared out of their minds, I also saw the trail left behind for me and the most haunting thing that I saw when proceeding forward were five dead bodies, three were inmates that were living next to my room and two were doctors that were working here. I left a sense of fear climbing over my shoulder, knowing that this man meant business. Plus, this was the first time that I saw a dead body that I haven't killed myself, and this scene, this horrible act caused me to realize that I too could die from someone who is just as unstable as me." Said Tony.
"When the incident began, I was walking around on the second floor, I was just reviewing several reports about three new patients that I and doctor Marcus would be in charge of monitoring and that's when it happened. An alarm went off and I heard several screams coming from both the hall I was on and from farther away. I never had to deal with a situation like this in the facility but when this situation happened, I was scared and knew that If an inmate, with violent tendencies, caught me, I would die. I tried to look for other doctors or the security on the floor, but to my dismay, not luck, except, I ran into a patient that was hysterical. The patient was a woman in her early twenty's and suffered from bipolar, I know this because I met her a while back. When we ran into each other, I felt so frightened, but because she was a familiar face, I soon began to feel calm. After taking a while to calm her down, I asked what happened, she said that she and everyone were released from their rooms and that there was this psychotic lunatic killing everyone on the scene and leaving terror on the scenes. That didn't make me feel any better about the incident but I tried to think rationally and that lead me to head over to security, which was on the first floor. I took the patient, her name was Emma, and went down to the first floor." Said Myra.
"When we made it to the door that leads to the stairs, it was locked up, as if someone was trying to prevent anyone from leaving the upper floors. This made me panic for a bit, then I tried thinking of a new idea. What I got was either finding other doctors or finding a new exit." Said Myra.
"After following the trail, I got to see more carnage. I saw countless bodies on the floor. Some were beaten to death, some were stabbed to death, some were strangled to death, and some were shaking out of fear alone. Whoever this man was, he really knew how to scare anyone to the brink of death. Even I was already on edge because of what I saw. In the end, I reached the end of the trail that leads into a room. In it, there was a desk and a chair, three was nothing special about it. It was just a room where people can discuss their issues but there was a one-way mirror and I guessed that he was on the other side of this room, watching me. I sat down and waited for a response." Said Tony.
"After a minute of waiting, the mystery man finally spoke and I was right about him being on the other side of the one-way glass. He introduced himself as Billy, an inmate that had a troubled past, he said to me, "I finally get to see you, though you can't see me though, regardless, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about you and now that I see you, I am a bit underwhelmed. I do see a troubled youth but nothing worth seeing, maybe because of the mask. Either way, I wanted to chat with you and get to know you better in my own ways, if that's alright with you." after he was done, I told him why did he kill all of those people. He only told me that the lives he killed that night were just mice in the way, all of which he knew and got rid of, so he and I would not get interrupted. I started to get upset." said Tony.
"He then began to talk again and said, "Here I thought you were more blood thirty and less humane, you keep letting me down with these simple remarks of humanity. I was told that you were an unstable monster that kills without mercy and yet, here you are talking about me kill others without a second thought. Look, I killed many people before I got here, and killing these people now feels as natural and non-conflicting as breathing air, I can breathe as much as I want and no one can stop me. Here's what I want from you because I'm still in the dark, I want to play a game with you that lets me see who you really are and you have one choice in the matter"." Said Tony.
"I looked around the second floor and there was hardly anyone who could help, no other personnel, no security guards, nothing. I remembered that doctor Marcus was on this floor and bet that he was still in his office. We went to his office but he wasn't there. This situation was getting direr and top it all off, we heard screams coming from the hallways and other violent sounds coming from the third and second floor. Out of options, we went to find another exit on the third section of the facility." Said Myra.
"When we got there, I had an unsettling feeling that we weren't the only ones there. It wasn't as if we were being watched, it was more like we were not alone in this part of the facility. We pushed onwards and found the door that leads to the ground level and as luck would have it, it was locked as well. I fell to my knees and Emma was spacing out from the situation. All of the sudden, I heard an intercom go off and from it, a man's voice came out. He then addressed us and told us this, "Look at what we have here. Two unwanted guests are here at the hunting grounds. I tried my hardest to rid the game of only three players but now that there are two others here, I guess I have to be more creative about this. The only thing you need to know now is that your life is at risk by my own hands. If you last for about an hour or more, then I might consider letting you go but don't think that your both safe in one spot. I'll hunt you down like dogs and then kill. Well, good luck.", that made my heart drop." Said Myra.
"I walked out of the room and tried to make it to the second floor. I wasn't gonna play this game of his but I knew that if I stayed on the floor any longer, he would come for me. I made my way to the door that leads down to the second floor and instantly sprung a trap. A contraption swung a book at me but the cover was coated with several sharp pencils. Luckily, I managed to avoid it in time but that encounter got my heart racing, I know that this man wasn't playing around, he meant to kill me. I made my way down to the second floor and before entering, I grabbed onto the door handle and got zapped. Apparently, he had booby-trapped the doorknob with some high voltage. Didn't want to go back and find another way down, so I forced to door to open by twisting the doorknob and when it opened, I set off another trap. A huge flash of light blinded me and I couldn't see a thing." said Tony.
"I tried to move forward but due to having my vision being disrupted, I had to rely on sticking to the wall as a guide. This was a good idea for the next ten minutes, but, I literally fell into another trap. When moving against the walls, my hand got stuck on some adhesive coating, like glue, and caused me to pull my hand out with all my force, which caused me to stumble back slip on a wet floor. I stayed in place and used the slippery floor to my advantage and slipped forwards through the wet spots and onto a dry foothold. When I felt more resistance on the floor, I know I was out of the slippery area but I was not safe yet." said Tony.
"I the blindness in my eyes soon began to fade away and I could see a bit more head. I looked around a bit and saw no one, nothing was here with me, or so I thought because, out of the corner of my right, a noise was coming from a four-way intersection on the left side of the second section of the second floor. I couldn't tell who it was but I could hear distinctive arguing. I slowly made my way down the path where the sound was coming from and came across a room that had a light come through it. I slowly came up to the door and was prepared to open it and anticipate any oncoming traps." Said Tony.
"I turned the knob and slowly opened the door and when I made a slight creak, I heard someone on the other side of the door. It sounded like they had their mouth gagged and were desperate to talk. I didn't know what to think of but a part of me felt compelled to open the door because if that lunatic was on the other side of this door or layout a trap for someone there, then I would have let them die. Out of panic, I swung open the door and of course, a trap was set off but I wasn't the one of got targeted." Said Tony.
