"So you're the other Harry," Harry Hook drawled.
"That I am," Harry Potter replied, turning to the other teen. "Nice outfit," he complimented.
"Thank you," he replied with a pleased smirk. "Your eyes are pretty, just like jewels."
"That's a new one, and thanks," he added as an afterthought. He regarded his companion for a moment. "I should mention, if you're making a pass, I have criteria for taking a lover."
"Do you now?" he retorted, interested. His companion hummed an agreement. "Male?" A nod. "Pretty?"
"Well it helps," he retorted.
The pirate laughed, delighted. "Willing?"
"Obviously."
"So what's at the top of your list?"
"In love with someone else," he spoke wryly.
He blinked. "Oh?"
"I don't want anyone to fall in love with me," he stated.
"You're getting more interesting by the minute," he drawled. "And I just so happen to be in love with someone else," he added with a dramatic sigh. "Want to go somewhere private?"
"Sounds good."
HPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDD
Harry stretched his arms above his head, naked body covered in a sheen of sweat, green eyes sated. He glanced at his companion with a smile, his eyes travelling across the pirate's lean, naked form.
"Like what you see?" he drawled.
"Did I not already answer that?" The pirate laughed wickedly. "I probably should have mentioned, before we did this…" he trailed off and licked his lips. "If you get the chance to go for the love of your life, or anyone else, don't worry about me."
"We're scratching an itch," the pirate drawled, trailing his nails lightly down the slighter teen's torso, causing him to shiver. "No strings attached."
"Exactly," he agreed. He grinned. "I'm content to be a booty call." Another wicked laugh. "Although, that doesn't mean I'm uninterested in spending time with you outside of sex."
The pirate grinned. "You want me for my body, but you want to be my friend too."
He lifted a shoulder. "Don't think I'm made for one-night-stands, and you're more than just a pretty face – and fine body."
The taller teen's expression softened. "Thanks."
"If everyone else can't see that, then they aren't worth your time."
"Right back at you."

Harry rapped his knuckles lightly against a door. "Come in!" Carlos called. He let himself in and closed the door after himself. "Harry, hi," he greeted.
"Hey," he responded with a smile.
"What's up?"
"You seemed a bit down, you okay?" he asked, concern clear.
The white-haired boy ducked his head. "I'm just not used to being on my own. I know I've got Dude but-"
"It's not the same," Harry interrupted gently, settling on the end of Carlos's bed. "I understand what you mean."
"You do?"
"This isn't my first boarding school," he stated. "From the age of eleven, I was only on my own during summer. As weird as it is at first, having that much company, after a while you get used to having it."
"Yeah," he breathed.
"I know it's not the same, but you wanna hang out?"
Carlos smiled, which turned to a scowl when his door opened. Chad snuck in, and stilled when he realised he had company. "Out," he ordered. The Prince swivelled. "Leave the key," he added. Chad plonked it down with a huff before he let himself out.
"Does he do that often?" Carlos nodded. "Does he not realise it's unacceptable behaviour?"
"Obviously not. The first time he let himself in, Jay and I were sleeping."
"That's just creepy," Harry retorted. "I'm guessing you're not going to Fairy Godmother about it?" Carlos shook his head vehemently. "Want some help?"
HPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDD
"I can't believe you did that," Carlos whispered as he and Harry hustled back to Carlos' room.
"What?" he retorted as he easily matched his stride to the other teen's.
"You could have been caught," he hissed as he unlocked his room, ushering Harry through.
"That was why you were standing guard outside the door."
"But what if Chad had come back?"
"I would have jumped out the window," he stated. Carlos blanched. "Or hidden," he added. "Whichever seemed more appropriate." He took his bag off of his shoulder and opened it, spilling a cascade of keys onto Carlos's bed.
"Fuck," he hissed.
"That sums it up," he agreed. "I can't imagine he keeps a copy on himself whenever he isn't using it – and he isn't smart enough to hide any copies anywhere other than his room," he added. "So as long as you lock your doo-"
"Thank you!" Carlos cried, wrapping his arms around Harry's neck.
"You're welcome," he replied, patting the slighter teen on the back. It was pleasant not to be the shortest guy around for a change. Carlos blushed and pulled back. "Carlos?" he asked in concern.
"Sorry," he breathed, ducking his head. "I know you and Harry-" He cut off as Harry tipped his chin up.
"Harry and I have an open arrangement," he stated.
"Why would you want me, when you could have Harry?"
"Carlos," he chided. "You are cute, smart, funny and unbelievably loyal. Anyone would be lucky to have you."
"Including you?" he asked shyly.
Harry smiled ruefully. "I only have lovers that are in love with someone else," he informed gently.
"Actually…"

"Hey Harry?" Gil spoke, shifting from one foot to the other.
Harry shielded his eyes and smiled up at the blonde. "Hey Gil," he greeted.
"Can I talk to you?"
"Of course," he replied, tapping the grass beside himself.
The blonde folded his lanky frame opposite the brunet. "Um, I know you're dating two people," he spoke hesitantly.
"Yes?" he prompted encouragingly.
"Does that mean you would date me?"
"Gil-" he began gently.
"Is it because I'm not smart?"
"Gil," he chided. "Don't ever put yourself down like that," he spoke fiercely. "You are great, and anyone would be lucky to have you." He sighed. "I only date people that are in love with someone else."
"Because you are too," he breathed.
"See, you're smarter than you thought," he remarked warmly.
"Why?"
"Because I'll never have the one I want," he stated, "and I don't want to break someone else's heart."
"Do you really think you would?"
"I've already left a girl in my world with a broken heart," he admitted. "I thought I could make it work, because she was in love with me, but…"
"But?"
"It wasn't fair to her, that I wasn't in love with her," he stated. "She might be able to settle for that, but I wasn't willing to let her."
"If I was in love with someone else, would you date me?"
"In a heartbeat," he replied without thought. "But Gil?" he spoke before his companion could rise. "I hope that when you do fall in love, that they return it."
"Thanks," he replied with a bright smile.

Harry knocked on the door of Ben's office. "Come in!" Ben called. He slipped in and closed the door after himself. "Hey," he greeted.
"Hey," Harry responded, settling in a chair opposite the King's desk.
"Everything okay?" Harry's head tilted. "What's on your mind?" he encouraged.
He blew out a breath. "I know what it's like to have everyone scrutinise your every move, and pounce on the slightest mistake," he stated. "So, I just wanted to tell you, that you can come to me if there was something you need to talk about."
"Really?" he breathed. His head tilted again. "Sorry, it's just that when someone normally says that, they're only being polite and never expect me to take them up on it."
"Eh, I'm not really built for subterfuge," he retorted, waving a hand. "I'm more likely to be blunt than anything, but at least I'm sincere," he added lifting a shoulder.
"Actually, the issue I've really got at the moment is personal, so is the offer still open?" he asked in a rush.
Harry kicked off his shoes, and settled cross-legged on the chair. "Shoot."
Ben smiled. "How good are you with love?"
"I'm great with advice for other people," he replied. "But why don't you tell me what your issue is? I might have advice, or talking it through might help you decide what you need to do."
"I love Mal," he stated. Harry nodded encouragingly. "And we shared True Love's kiss to break my Love Spell…"
"But you're not in love with her," he finished knowingly.
"Yes," he breathed.
Harry nodded. "It's not easy."
"No."
"You know what need to do, don't you?"
He dropped his head with a groan. "Talk to Mal."
Harry leant forward and laid his hand over Ben's. "I know it's daunting, but it's only fair to talk to her about what you really feel."
Ben blew out a breath. "Thanks," he spoke with a warm smile.
"You're welcome," he replied straightening his legs and putting his shoes back on. "Afterwards, if you want to talk to someone who really gets it, let me know."
HPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDD
Harry sat on Carlos' bed, arms wrapped around the slighter teen's waist as the white-haired boy snogged him heatedly. The door opened and Carlos shot out of his arms with a blush. Harry blew out a breath, and glanced toward their companion. "Jay!" Carlos gasped, his blush deepening.
"Hey," he greeted awkwardly.
"I'll see you later Carlos," Harry spoke, smiling at the still-embarrassed teen as he slipped from the room. He walked away with purpose.
"Hey Harry," Ben greeted.
"Hey," he greeted.
"You okay?"
"My plans for the evening just got cancelled, but other than that, I'm good," he spoke ruefully.
"Want to hang out with me?"
Harry's head tilted. "I would have thought you already had plans."
"No," he spoke quickly.
He regarded the King for a moment. "My room or yours?"
"Yours is fine," he replied immediately.
Harry led Ben to his room, and let him in. "Were you on the way from my room?" he asked curiously.
"What gave it away?" he asked with a sigh.
"Direction and evasiveness," he replied honestly. "Want something to drink?" he asked, and rummaged through his improvised fridge.
"Anything is fine," he replied, accepting the water with a smile.
Harry settled on his bed with a smile. "So, why were you on the way to see me?" he asked as he kicked off his shoes.
"I talked with Mal," he spoke in a rush.
"Sit down Ben," he urged. His companion settled on the end of his bed. "So, how'd it go?"
"Better than I thought," he stated, with a wry smile. "It turns out, that she felt the same, she just didn't know how to talk to me about it." Harry grinned. "Yes, you were right." He inclined his head. "And it's better for both of us."
"Then why aren't you happier?" he asked insightfully.
"Because I've realised I'm in love with someone else," he breathed.
Harry stilled. "Please tell me it's not me," he spoke in a rush.
"It isn't," he assured. He regarded the other teen for a moment. "Why didn't you relax?"
"Do you know what my lovers have in common?"
"Male and attractive?" he guessed.
"Well, yes," he agreed. "But my main criteria, is that they're in love with someone else," he stated.
"Ah," he breathed. His head tilted. "Do you find me attractive?"
Harry rolled his eyes. "You know you're attractive."
"Two lovers isn't enough for you?" he teased.
He lifted a shoulder. "It's not like I'm dating them. We're friends, and when we…have an itch to scratch, we call each other."
"But do you cuddle as well?" Harry rolled his eyes. "That isn't a 'no'."
"All right, yes," he huffed. "It's turned more into 'friends with benefits' than 'booty call', but it works well." Ben licked his lips. "What?"
"Would you be interested-" he cut off and blushed.
Harry slid across the bed until he was by Ben's side. He kissed him gently, waiting until the other teen returned the touch before he pulled back. "You are cute, loyal, brave and smart," he spoke earnestly. "You are a great catch, even without the crown."
"Thanks," he breathed.
He squeezed his hand. "If you want to…relieve some tension, I'm more than willing."
He blushed with a bright smile. "I like the sound of that."
HPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDD
Harry smiled as Jay approached him hesitantly. "Hi," he greeted.
"Hey," he responded, shifting from foot to foot before straightening. "I'm sorry," he spoke in a rush.
"What for?"
He ducked his head. "For interrupting last night."
"Don't worry," Harry replied flippantly. "I made other plans."
"You cheated on Carlos?" he asked, aghast.
The slighter teen's eyes narrowed. "I share an open arrangement with all of my lovers," he stated flatly.
"How many do you have?" he asked, head tilted curiously.
"Three." Jay's eyebrows rose. "And no, I won't tell you who they are. If you didn't already know about Carlos, I wouldn't have acknowledged that one either," he muttered.
"Are you-"
"I am not ashamed," he interrupted firmly. He lifted a shoulder. "I don't believe in bragging about conquests. That sort of thing should be private," he added with a rueful smile.
Jay grinned. "Why stop at just three? You could have a plethora of partners with your looks."
Harry snorted. "I've only turned down one other person," he retorted, rolling his eyes. "And, I have specific requirements for my lovers."
"Cute?"
"Why are you all obsessed about that? It's not as if anyone here is actually ugly," he added rolling his eyes.
"Male?" He nodded. "And willing, obviously."
"Obviously."
Jay's head tilted as he considered the slighter teen. "So what's your main requirement?"
Harry sighed. "In love with someone else," he admitted softly. Jay blushed. "Really?" he spoke, shocked. "You too?"
Blush still in place, Jay met his eyes. "Why don't we discuss this somewhere more private?"
HPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDD
"So," Harry drawled in his brogue. His green-eyed companion glanced at him curiously. "You've taken a new lover then?"
"Two actually," he spoke casually, shifting so he faced the taller teen.
"Going to tell me who?"
"If you guess right, I'll acknowledge it," he replied.
"Do you enjoy making things a challenge?"
Harry laughed. "I just prefer not to kiss and tell," he stated.
"I had noticed," he drawled, causing his companion to grin. "Have you gone as far with your other lovers as you have with me?"
"One," he acknowledged.
"But the other two are lovers?"
He blew out a breath. "Okay, two of my lovers are content to only go as far as blow jobs."
"And did you top the other one?" he asked with a smirk.
"What do you think?" he retorted.
"I think that if you had the inclination, you would enjoy topping," he replied easily. "But I take it, you weren't so inclined with him either?"
"No I wasn't."
"So, how big is Jay?"
Harry blushed. "I am not going to answer that," he stated firmly. "And he's lover number four," he acknowledged with a sigh.
"Oh, you fit one in before him, did you?"
"After my plans with Carlos fell through," he stated.
"What happened there?" he asked, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
Harry snorted. "Jay walked in." His companion chuckled wickedly. "Laugh it up," he retorted. "It ruined the mood – I think we both forgot that Jay was back and could interrupt when we arranged to meet in their room," he added ruefully.
"It worked out well for you," he pointed out.
"Yes," he acknowledged. "Though it was embarrassing for Carlos."
"Oh?" he purred.
Harry rolled his eyes. "We weren't undressed," he retorted. "But he doesn't have your confidence." The pirate's eyebrows rose. "Let's face it, if you were in his shoes, you'd give Jay an ultimatum of join in or get out."
"You know we so well," he drawled.
"I should hope so, with how much time we've spent together."
"And not all of it in bed," he added with a grin. Harry snorted again, and his phone pinged. "Go ahead."
He pulled it out, and glanced at his text with a smile. "It's from Ben," he stated. He paused in sending a reply as he felt his companion tense beside him. "Oh Gods, Harry, I'm so sorry," he breathed.
His companion cleared his throat. "It's not as if he'd want a pirate, is it?" he responded, trying for flippant and not quite managing it.
Harry squeezed his hand. "Well, at the very least he's Bi, and he is in love with someone, I just don't know who it is."
"Yes, you never do ask."
The slighter teen's smile turned rueful. "I probably should. Harry, if I find out that it's you he's interested in, I will tell you. I promise. Just because I can't have the one I want, doesn't mean I want you to miss out on your chance at happily ever after."
"I take it, he's back home then?" he asked softly.
His companion blew out a breath. "It doesn't matter anyway, because he'll never want me."
"How do you know?"
"I'm the opposite of what he wants in a partner," he stated. "I embraced that a while ago."
"I know just the thing to cheer us both up," Harry purred.
"We have homework," his companion replied breathily.
"It can wait until we're in a better mindset," he stated in his tempting drawl as he tugged the slighter teen into his lap.
HPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDD
Harry stretched his arms above his head, his skin covered in a light sheen of sweat. "You look smug," Jay remarked with a grin.
"I feel very satisfied," he answered with a smile. He blew out a breath. "There's probably something I should admit," he murmured. Jay's expression turned encouraging. "I have a form of touch hunger," he spoke in a rush. The darker teen tugged Harry against his side, and he let out a contented sigh. "Thanks," he murmured.
"Not exactly a hardship," he responded with a smile.
"Mm. It doesn't need to be sex, and while skin contact is better, anything will do," he stated. He licked his lips. "There's something I wanted to talk to you about, but I'm selfish enough to wait until after…"
"Don't worry, I enjoyed myself just as much as you," Jay retorted with a grin.
Harry snorted. "I'm not that selfish," he retorted.
"So what's up?"
A sigh from his companion. "Who are you in love with?" he asked softly.
A pause. "I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours?" he offered.
Harry's eyebrows rose. "It won't mean anything to you."
"Indulge me."
"Draco."
"Carlos."
Harry blinked, his head tilting. "I don't know who he's in love with, but if I find out it's you, I'll let you know," he promised.
"In that case, ready for another round?" Harry's eyebrows shot up. "I know how determined you are, and I want to take advantage of this opportunity while I've got it."
Harry smiled. "Sounds good."
HPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDD
"Hey!" Carlos greeted warmly as Harry entered the white-haired teen's room. "I'm surprised you want to meet here, after last time," he added sheepishly.
Harry smiled warmly as he joined the other boy on the bed. "I just want to hang out," he stated, wrapping an arm around the other teen. Carlos snuggled into his side with a happy sound. "That okay with you?"
"Of course," he replied with a smile. He scrutinised his companion's expression. "What's up?"
Harry let out a sigh. "You're too smart sometimes," he murmured. "You remind me of someone," he added fondly.
"Who?"
"One of my best friends back home. She was a bit of a know-it-all, but she wasn't superior with it – most of the time." Carlos laughed softly. "I'm not really good with subtlety, so I'm just gonna ask what I want to know, okay?"
"Sure," he replied easily.
"Who are you in love with?"
"Why?" he asked softly.
"Well, I've got a guess," he responded slowly. "But I don't want to say, in case I'm wrong," he added hastily.
"It's Jay," he stated. He blinked when Harry jumped.
"Sorry," he murmured. "Still not used to having a phone."
"Check your message," he stated with an indulgent smile.
"You sure?"
"Yeah," he replied.
Harry pulled his phone from his pocket, the screen facing away from Carlos, and sent a text to Jay. "Sorry about that," he murmured again. He met the smaller teen's gaze. "You ever thought about talking to him about it?"
"I couldn't do that," he spoke with a blush.
"Why not?" he asked gently.
"I'm not that confident," he sighed.
"I can't really say anything," Harry murmured. "I never spoke to the guy I love about how I feel. But then, I knew I had no chance," he spoke ruefully. "You might be pleasantly surprised though," he remarked.
The door opened and Jay entered, breathing hard. "I'll see you later Carlos," he remarked, nodding to Jay on his way out. He closed the door firmly after himself. The two of them would need privacy for this conversation.
HPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDD
Harry plodded down the corridor toward his room and smiled warmly when his path crossed with Ben's. "Hi," he greeted.
"Hi," the King replied. "Got plans?" His companion shook his head. "Want to join me?"
"Love to," he responded warmly. "Your room or mine?"
"You mind mine?" He got a look. "Got to check," he replied with a smile.
"I suppose it comes with the territory," he teased.
"Tell me more about yourself," Ben urged.
"Like what?"
"What's your favourite colour?"
"Silver," he replied with a smile. "What's yours by the way?"
"Grey," he replied immediately, then blushed.
"Hmm," Harry hummed. "I wonder if the reason for your favourite colour is the same as mine," he murmured.
Ben opened the door to his room with a flourish and gestured for the raven-haired teen to enter. "Thanks," he replied, kicking off his shoes just inside the door.
"Why do you always do that?"
"Because I don't want to dirty your sheets," he responded as he immediately settled on the King's bed.
"There are so many things I want to dissect in that sentence," he murmured.
Harry sighed. "Okay, how about this, we take it in turns asking questions. How many do you have to ask me?"
"Only a couple hundred," he replied, only semi-teasing. His companion's eyebrows disappeared beneath his fringe. "Don't you have as many for me?"
"Not quite," he replied lightly.
"Then how about for every two questions of mine, you get to ask one?" he suggested.
"Make it three," he replied with a smile. "I'm fond of the number three."
"Okay, why do you always sit on the bed?"
Harry blinked. "Habit I suppose," he answered. Ben gestured for him to continue. "This counts as number two," he declared and his companion acquiesced with a nod. "I didn't have anywhere but my bed to sit on, growing up."
"What about in school?"
"I shared one large dorm room with four boys my own age. We each had a bed, beside table and trunk at the bottom of the bed. The bed was more comfortable than the trunk," he replied with an absent shrug. His head tilted. "Is your favourite colour the same as the eyes of the person you're in love with?"
"Yes," he replied with a warm smile. "Do you have a dirt phobia?"
Harry let out a startled laugh. "No, I'll just say that cleanliness was important to my Aunt," he spoke slowly.
"Was she pleasant to you?" he asked softly.
"Not quite as bad as Lady Tremaine, I don't think," he added uncertainly. "It's not the sort of thing you can ask."
"No," Ben agreed. "What's the name of the guy you're in love with?"
"Draco," he stated. "Draco Malfoy," he added. He frowned.
"What?" Harry gave him a look. "That wasn't part of my turn."
"There's a question I should ask, and one that I want to," he stated.
"Are they the main ones you want to ask?" he asked curiously. Harry nodded. "Okay, new deal. Ask the one you want to, then the one you should, and after that I get to ask mine until you get sick of answering."
Harry laughed again. "Always so considerate. Okay, have you ever not wanted to be King?" he asked softly.
"Of course," he replied, smile not waning. "I was raised knowing that I would be King, but there have been times along the way that I chafed under the role. Not enough for me to truly rebel against it, but just moments here and there when I just had to be Ben, you know?"
"I understand," Harry murmured.
"Next?" he encouraged.
"Who are you in love with?" Ben stilled and Harry blew out a breath. "If you don't want to answer-"
"No it's okay. You've been totally honest with me, even when it was difficult, it's only fair that I do the same." He blew out a breath. "It's Harry. Hook."
"I won't make a hook pun," Harry promised, causing Ben to grin. "And I realise that I agreed to the new deal – or rather didn't disagree – but I really think we should leave our conversation there, and you should talk to Harry."
"Why?" Ben asked, as close to suspicious as he got.
His companion smiled. "I think you'll be pleasantly surprised," he stated. "You don't have any plans for the evening, do you?"
"No?"
Harry grinned and fished his phone out of his pocket. "You do now," he stated and sent a text to Harry. "Or, well, you will in a few minutes." He rose from the bed and slipped his shoes on while Ben stared at him.
As knuckles rapped on the door, Harry opened it with a smile. Harry Hook stood on the other side, panting hard. The raven-haired teen grinned at him. "I'd tell you good luck," he murmured in an undertone, "but you don't need it." He looked over his shoulder at Ben, who was still and staring. "Bye Ben," he called as he slipped beneath the pirate's shoulder.
"Bye," he called, as Harry closed the door. He was feeling the quite the match-maker, and he was glad that he brought his friends' happiness…even if that did mean that he was giving up having them as lovers.
HPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDDHPDD
Harry was sat on the grass opposite Ben and Harry, Jay and Carlos. His head tilted as he felt a disturbance in the air. "What is it Harry?" Ben asked in concern.
"Don't you feel that?" he replied, voice absent as he rose, and turned toward it, drawn irresistibly closer, distantly aware of his friends following him. The glowing archway of The Veil appeared and he stilled. Did he have to go?
It glowed brighter for a second and someone stepped through. "Draco?" he breathed, gaping at the blonde. "What are you doing here?" he demanded.
"I came for you," he replied.
Harry fought back a shiver at his drawl. "Why?" he retorted.
"Always so oblivious," he murmured, cupping the brunet's cheek before he dipped his head for a kiss the lion happily responded to.
He pulled back with a satisfied smile. "Oh," Harry breathed.
"Your way home is still there," Harry drawled, "better use it."
He turned to his friends, several emotions flitting across his face. "Go find your happy ending," Ben encouraged, linking fingers with his pirate.
"We'll miss you," Jay stated.
"But you need to go," Carlos added with a warm smile.
"Ready to face our world together?" Draco asked softly, linking their fingers together.
Harry looked up at the blonde before licking his lips and turned back to face his friends. "I'll never forget any of you," Harry spoke with feeling. He squeezed the blonde's fingers and they stepped through The Veil together.
