Chapter 2: Famine
While Makoto was driving she noticed the frigate coming down nearby and crash into the ground causing a sonic boom to hit her speeder and knock it into other speeders that was hit from the sonic boom.
Akira grabbed onto Makoto holding her down while the speeder rolled.
"What the fuck!" Kugo shouted.
"Did you guys see the ship drop?" Yukio asked.
Makoto unlocked all doors and they helped the criminals out but kept them secure.
They looked at the burning frigate nearby that crushed two buildings but suddenly they heard two more frigates' engines break up and fall.
"Does that look like they're being pulled down instead of failing?" Yukio asked.
"Get behind that wall!" Makoto shouted.
They ran to an alleyway along with Turian civilians and two more frigates fell causing another sonic boom.
"This is total chaos." L'aera mumbled.
"What the hell is going on!" Riruka shouted through the loud crashing sounds.
"Something bad!" Akira shouted back.
One Turian battle cruiser was heading toward the direction of the chaos but suddenly it was forcefully tipped down and smashed into a few buildings before exploding and crashing into a skyscraper taking it down.
Up on the nearby building, Sion lowered his hands and turned looking at Kento.
"Summon your clones." Sion said.
Kento put his hands together creating a jutsu and smoke poofed around him with five standing clones in robes and their hoods coming down to reveal clones of Kento but each one having different hairstyles.
"I thought the falling ships is all we needed to make a show." Kento said.
"Why not let you have some fun too. Have them follow for now. We need extra protection." Sion said.
They all leaped off the building into the alleyway that Akira, Makoto, and the three they captured was at and they didn't notice them but Akira turned around hearing them land on the ground and saw them run off in the other direction.
"Makoto." Akira said.
Makoto turned her head and saw them run to the other end of the alleyway and disappear.
"What the hell?" Makoto said.
"We need to check that out." Akira said.
"You three, move it hurry up." Makoto said pushing the criminals forward.
"For the love of god just say what we do." L'aera said.
They ran to the other end of the alleyway and saw two of the clones killing five Turians and they followed Kento and Sion and the other three clones.
Akira began to open fire and one clone turned around and sent a strange ghostly power that hit Akira and began to choke him.
"Akira!" Makoto shouted.
The clone ran off and Makoto had to help Akira to breath.
"Riruka, you can help her." Kugo said.
"Handcuffs you idiot!" Riruka shouted.
Makoto grabbed her cuffs and took them off but then grabbed her arm.
"Promise me I won't regret letting you go." Makoto said sternly.
"You won't you won't sheesh." Riruka said.
Riruka went into her pouch and waved some sort of flowers under Akira's nose which began to heal his lungs.
"It's Polyu, it's from the beach's of Palaven, it helps breathing control. I take it to calm my nerves." Riruka said.
"Should take a whole pot of it." Yukio said.
Riruka gouged his stomach knocking him to the ground.
"Look whatever is going on, we can help you. Our weapons are needed." Kugo said.
"Absolutely not!" Makoto said.
L'aera was charging his knuckles now that his handcuffs were off and looked to the others.
"Oh come on, we are all in this together." L'aera said.
"Makoto, I trust them." Akira said.
Makoto rolled her eyes and uncuffed them.
"Petty criminals anyway." Makoto said.
Akira handed them their items to which they re-summoned them.
"They went that way." Akira said.
"I'll lead first since I got the blade, you guys are range attackers." Kugo said.
"What if you get hurt?" Riruka asked.
"Come on, do I ever get hurt?" Kugo said with a grin.
"Yes, like last night when-" Yukio began to say.
"Yeah yeah yeah shut up, come on." Kugo said.
The five of them headed the way that Sion, Kento, and Kento's clones went to.
Kento without having to look back spoke over to Sion.
"We got people following us." Kento said.
The two and Kento's clones leaped onto the sides of buildings up to the rooftops.
"That should slow them down." Sion said.
The two was close to the orb.
Makoto was on the holocom to the police and two Turian helicopter machines flew over and spotted Sion and Kento on the roof.
"Aogiri found." A Turian police officer said.
Now two shuttles was headed their way with a platoon on the ground.
"Good, back up." Akira said.
Sion and Kento were just about to the orb when one of the shuttles flew by and two police officers aimed their rifles at them.
"You're under arrest!" The Turian officer said.
Sion held his hand up and used the force to push the shuttle down into a radio tower and made it explode.
"Damn it." Sion said.
"We will handle this." Kento said.
Kento and his clones leaped off and different locations and began to cause trouble with their powers and abilities, though they was different from one another.
Sion ran toward where the orb was and on his way, he killed any police officer in his way.
Akira and the others made it out to the street and saw the chaos going around and a nearby building exploding and falling onto another.
"They call these two apart of the Aogiri." Makoto said.
"The people on the news that took down Federation buildings on Coruscant?" L'aera asked.
"Yes, and apparently these two are the last Aogiri members alive." Makoto said.
"We was told to stand down and let the police deal with this." Makoto said.
"We can't just let them get away like that." Akira said.
"I agree, I think we should help." Makoto said.
"I'm down for it." Kugo said.
"Fuck it, wasn't planning to live forever anyway." L'aera said with a shrug.
"Alright, I guess we need to show these pricks what happens when you fuck with our city." Riruka said.
"I'm out." Yukio said beginning to walk off.
"Get back here right now!" Kugo shouted.
Yukio walked back with a sigh.
They ran out into the street and Yukio noticed another frigate falling toward the ground.
"I got this." Yukio said.
Yukio typed on his gaming device and the frigate's engines sparked back to life and the frigate hovered back into the sky.
Sion nearby noticed this in confusion.
"The hell?" Sion thought.
One of Kento's clones noticed Yukio and then the group and soon all clones and Kento headed that way.
"The same group that was following us just saved a Turian ship, I will handle them." Kento said.
"Hurry up." Sion said.
Kento and his clones headed straight at the group.
"Incoming!" Riruka shouted.
The group put their backs against one another and Akira, Makoto, and Riruka opened fire while Yukio controlled nearby security systems to open and close to confuse the clones and Kugo swinging his claymore at the nearest clone that leaped away from his attack.
"Spread out quick!" Kugo shouted.
All of them got to different spots and one clone ran at Makoto with strange wires coming from the sleeve of its robe.
Before it could attack, Makoto shot it several times and the clone just stood there until beginning to move again.
"Stupid woman." The clone said but when it spoke, the other clones said the same thing through Kento.
"They're linked to him." Yukio said.
Akira aimed his gun at Kento and before he could shoot he was knocked over by two clones and one clone was ready to kill until Kugo sliced it's arm right off.
The clone with its arm sliced off jumped back and with its remaining arm it brought out a sound device that shot a loud pinging noise that hurt everyone's ears.
Yukio aimed his game device at it and controlled it to shut off and instead drain it's entire battery out.
The clone was shocked and before it could reach the electronic device that it glowed red and was ready to overcharge.
"I hate your toy." Yukio said.
Yukio pushed a button on his device and the clone's sound device exploded, killing the clone immediately.
"Oh blast it." Kento said to himself.
Akira shot at Kento and the bullet hit Kento's ear and blew it off.
"Agh! Fucking prick!" Kento shouted.
Akira backed up as Kento walked toward him with a furious look on his face.
"Now you'll get it, nerd." Kento said.
Akira straightened his glasses and got ready to fight.
