Well…this completely sucks guys! I finally finish re-writing and editing this chapter, I made many edits and I added a character that I liked that would be perfect for Happy, another exceed because I want Happy to have a love interest since Yuki is going to get Carla (spoiler alert, omg!) and what happens?! I log into my computer and I can't find the damn chapter! My computer somehow, someway, has lost the damn chapter! I'm so upset that I am about to cry, and mad is the smallest word I would use to describe my fury right now to. So, now I'm going to have to start and I'm so sorry, sigh.
I am still going to add a new oc, and she is another exceed who I named Belladonna, Bella for short, and I hope y'all will like her when she appears later on in the fanfic.
Disclaimer: I only own my Oc's, I don't own

Name: Belladonna (Nickname: Bella)
Age: 5 (Happy is 6 years old)
Height: 15 cm.
Eyes: Masculine shaped, but has a hint of softness to them; a combination of forest green and emerald green, it starts off as a darker green on the outside of the iris, and then it begins to get lighter more towards the center of the eye.
Personality: She is a little shy when you first meet her, but once she warms up to you, you quickly learn that she has a bit of a sarcastic wit to her, she is as stubborn as a mule, certainly isn't afraid to speak her mind when she needs to. When it comes to the ones she cares about she can be quite motherly, especially when they're hurt and she treats them, she's naturally a bit of a worrywart at times as well, however when it comes to taking care of plants of any kind she has the odd habit of talking to them, and carrying out full on conversations with them, and she's very gentle with them as if they were her 'children'. Other than that she is very sweet and caring, however she can be rough with her treatment if you got your injury for being stupid and reckless, and she has quite the temper if you push her buttons hard enough, has a strong sense of justice, she always tries to do the right thing, brave, she is very smart and clever, a bit of a clean freak, honest, and if you gain her trust she is the most loyal friend that you'll ever have.
Likes: Plants; either discovering, planting and gardening, taking care of them, and etc, making any sort of healing remedy, medicine and potions, reading, some peace and quiet from time to time, fruits and vegetable, and honestly prefers red meat then fish.
Dislikes: Things that smell absolutely horrible, being alone in the dark, people being stupid, when books are destroyed, when someone messes with her plants in any shape or form without her permission, having her food taken away from her when she's not done, ignorant spoiled brats who think they are better than everyone else, and cannot stand bullies; she has very little patience for them.
Magic: Aera and nature magic – more specifically plant magic.
Skills/Abilities: She is a very knowledgeable herbologist, knows exactly what plants can harm you and what can heal you; even knows what poisonous plants can be used to an antidote for certain poisons. She can grow a pair of angelic wings that allow her to fly, she can control plants to only in a more defensive degree, and she is also a good healer and medic.
Looks: All her fur is pitch black, with a blue tint to it, a small cute triangular pink nose, a more circular shaped head, has four short whiskers – two on each cheek – and pink paw pads, and a pair of soft triangular ears on her head with the inner part a light shade of pink. And of course, she has a long and slender tail.
Outfit: She wears a dark brown poncho-like hood and cloak that reaches around her hips, with two holes cut out on the hood part so her ears poke out of it, a bright red bandana tied around her neck that she'll also pull up over her mouth and nose at times, a simple off white tank top, a pair of green shorts that are rolled up a couple of times at the bottom, and a decently large dark brown leather backpack that she keeps all of her tools and equipment for collecting herbs and stuff that she finds, a journal that she keeps her notes in, and of course some medical tools, like bandages and stitches, and other stuff such as food and blankets and etc.
Chapter 2: She has returned!
Located outside the city limits of Magnolia, away from the current danger and drama that was happening, was a small forest. Through that forest was a simple dirt beaten path that many wizards and merchants have used when traveling to and from Magnolia; there was nothing significant about the road, or the forest. It wasn't anything special, wasn't particularly dangerous either, however this dirt road was important at the moment because a certain mage and her small partner was currently traveling on it to get back their beloved guild and guild mates, to get back home.
Samantha, but she prefers to be called Sam, Burns and her exceed partner Yuki, was heading back to their beloved city after being gone for almost a year. After being gone for six months they were returning from taking a SS-class job request. She's glad she made it for the Fantasia Parade, since she had always participated in the parade ever since she joined Fairy Tail years ago and had never missed one. "We're almost home!" she happily thought with a smile the stretched from ear to ear on her faced. As she walked on the dirt road, her bright red and silver tipped hair swishing back in forth in rhythm of her steps, her hair much longer than the day she left; before she left it reached down to the small of her back, now it barley went past her butt, she can feel the ends of her hair ever so slightly brushing the back of her thighs. "Damn, (sigh), I really need to get a haircut." The girl quietly complained as she lightly pulled her now longer bangs. She's wearing a simple blue short sleeved shirt with a V-neck, a simple long-sleeved black leather jacket that hugs her figure, dark denim shorts, white fingerless gloves, black thigh socks, and 1-inch black thick heel boots that reaches just below her knees, and around her neck is a necklace with the 10 Wizard Saints medal that she received last year on it.
Presently holding onto her shoulder is a white tiger, that's dressed like a ninja, sleepily nods his head and let's out a grunt, agreeing with the girl that her hair has gotten a bit too long as it covers him from behind like a blanket. He was annoyed with her hair as well, it was already warm out and she has really thick hair, so it made him feel really, really hot. Out of nowhere, he pulled out a kunai and was about to give her somewhat of a haircut.
"…Yuki!" She growled, he immediately stopped what he was doing and turned his head towards her and he flinched when he saw the irritated snarl on her face. "Don't. You. Dare!" she slowly warned him with a fiery aura engulfing her being, seeing that put a bit of fear into Yuki as he promptly placed his knife back on his person. "Good kitty." Her angry face and aura was quickly replaced with a sweet and charming smile on her face with a now pink and sparkling aura surrounding her. The tiger sweatdropped at this quick mood change, but he chose to ignore that as he began to use his magic; causing his eyes to glow a brighter red. "What should we do once we return to Magnolia?" he curiously asked with his voice in her head. Sam smiled at him as she continued walking, and easily answered him, "First things first, we'll stop at the guild to inform Makarov that we successfully finished the request," Yuki nodded, approving what she was saying so far, "and then afterwards, of course we are going to socialize and spend a good time with our guild mates. Eat, socialize, and you can take your nap."
"You're not going to spend some time with Gray?" Yuki deadpanned, arching a brow at her, he is a little surprised that she didn't even mention his name. She gave him an irked pout at that little comment.
"Yes, I am going to do that too, but before that…" she sharply turned her head, looking right into his eyes, she had a menacing smirk, showing off her pearly white dragon-like teeth, plastered on her face with an dark ominous aura swirling around her. This didn't faze Yuki what-so-ever as he simply stared at her; he knew full well that even though she was looking at him, that look etched on her face wasn't meant for him. "…we're going to have a nice and long chat with our brothers about Galuna Island." That little reminder of Natsu and Happy's stupid stunt, the bottom lid of Yuki's left eye began to uncontrollably twitch as an angry snarl slowly made its way onto his face. Oh yeah, they knew all about Galuna Island, every little thing; from Happy and Natsu stealing it from the upstairs request board, all the way to the group leaving the island on the pirate ship that Erza commandeered. How do they know this? They have friends everywhere, plus Mira and Makarov sent them a letter telling them what the reckless duo had done. Sam and Yuki were a mix of emotions when they read the letters; they were absolutely angry that Natsu and Happy stole S-class job request, which is something that is against the rules, but they were also scarred because they knew how dangerous that mission was, especially because their siblings weren't S-class wizards. Now the question, how do they know about what happened on the island? More in particular what Gray almost did if Natsu wasn't there, and all of the events that happened afterwards, it was thanks to Yuki's magic.
Suddenly their previous thoughts completely dissipated, and Sam immediately stopped mid-step, when Magnolia was now within their sights, but something wasn't right; something felt very wrong. For some reason they didn't hear the sound of laughter coming from the city, instead they could hear the distant sound of…fighting?
This was a truly and extremely unsettling for the duo. Sam let out a nervous breath of air before wondering out loud in a hushed voice, "What the hell is going on?" Sam and Yuki shared a worried look before the two, mainly Sam as Yuki tightly held onto her shoulder, made a mad dash towards the city only to stop halfway there a rune wall suddenly appeared in front of her, making her slide into an immediate stop, and on it, it wrote "Lucy vs. Bickslow, Victory: Lucy." She read out loud. "What the hell is this?!" as they both were reading this, is also showed all of the other fights that had happened; all of the winners and victors, and who had fought who and other names on the list have certainly caught their interest.
"So the Thunder Legion is here, and if they're here then that means…" Yuki angrily growled, getting angrier and angrier every passing second.
"That bastard!" Sam yelled out in absolute outrage. So Laxus is back, and so are the Thunder Legion, and for some reason it appeared as if they were making Fairy Tail members fight one another. "Laxus, you damn bastard!" mad was the smallest word for what Sam felt. She was beyond angry, and she was absolutely disgusted with everything that was happening, granted she doesn't know all that has happened, but what she does know was that Laxus and the Thunder Legion were making her friends fight, and that was enough for her.
And real soon she, Yuki, and everyone in Fairy Tail, were about to learn just how far Laxus was going to take this.
As the runes disappeared, Sam once again began to run almost at full speed towards Magnolia. "Sam!" She didn't stop as she looked at him in the corner of her eye, "Look up! The sky!" he pointed up into the sky.
"Huh?" Now looking up, she now sees what he was pointing at. Floating high above the city, there was a row of crystal balls with a lightning symbol on it, that circled the entire circumference of Magnolia "What the–is that lacrima?" she mentally wondered. Sam then let out a horrified gasp, her eyes grew twice their size and her pupils grew smaller while at the same time her mouth slightly open from shock. Dread filled Yuki's entire being seeing such a look on her face.
"Yuki, t-the Thunder Palace…he activated it." she slightly stuttered, Yuki's eyes then grew to the size of saucers at the shocking revelation before he returned his gaze at the magical orbs in the sky. "Has Laxus lost his mind?! What does he hope to accomplish by destroying the entire city?" the tiger couldn't believe this; he had never thought that a member of their guild, Makarov's own grandson, would stoop to such a level.
"I don't know, but what we do know is that he has made our family fight each other, and is now wanting to destroy the city and everyone that lives here. We are going to end this."
"Right, let's go!"
With that the two finally get into the city, with a pure sense of determination firing within them.
Small Timeskip
Sam, now on her own, has been looking for Laxus's whereabouts for a while now. Using her enhanced sense of smell and hearing, she had pinpointed his location in a general area, however because of the festival, the food and the people it was making it rather difficult to find his exact location. At a certain point of entering the city Sam and Yuki decided to split up to widen their search. She was currently more in the center of Magnolia, on top of the roof of a building that was located decently close to the cathedral.
"Damn it! Where is he, where that son of a bitch?" The crimson haired girl ran her hand through her hair, getting more frustrated the longer her search became, but she was also getting worried the longer that Thunder Palace stayed in place. She could feel the magic in the lacrima flying above her head getting stronger. "I can feel it; I can feel the Thunder Palace is going to go off soon. But there are too many people around here; it's hard to pinpoint his position!" Sam shouts out of frustration in her head, harshly clutching the hair on the back of her hair.
As she was looking, she felt a sudden rise of magic power nearby, near the river. Sam's body immediately relaxed, she excitedly grinned at this. She knew exactly whose magical energy it belonged to. "So Mira, you're finally using your magic again huh?" she quietly said, with her grin now a saddened smile.
Sam remembered the day that Mira stopped using her magic as if it was yesterday. It was one of the saddest and most tragic moments in her life. The day that Mira and Elfman's little sister, Lisanna, had sadly past away. She saw the young girl as a little sister as well, and Lisanna saw her as another big sister to the youngest Strauss; it made Sam a little embarrassed when Lisanna called her 'big sister', nevertheless it also made her pretty happy as well. Lisanna died on a job request that she went on with her brother and sister, and while on the quest Elfman had lost control of himself when he attempted to use full body takeover and accidently killed her. Nobody blamed him for what happened, because everyone knew that it wasn't his fault that Lisanna died.
Flashback
At the time Sam and Yuki were finishing an S-class job request. Their job was to find a very dangerous fugitive that had escaped custody of the Rune Knights. It took her about two days to find his hideout, he was hiding out in a cave that was located in one of the most dense forests in Fiore. Much to their chagrin, the guy's magic was a type of magic the Magic Council had made illegal to learn and use; he use necromancy magic, and the forest that he was hiding in was notorious for people to get lost in and die. It took about three days to get to the outskirts of the forest, another five days to find the cave that was hidden in the dense forest, and when they had finally found him it took them almost the entire day to not only beat his undead army, but to knock his ass unconscious out and for Sam to place a special pair of handcuffs onto his wrists; the cuffs completely nullified his magic, making him harmless as a puppy.
When they had returned to the guild, with Yuki hanging on her left shoulder, their bodies covered in scratches and there were some bruises here and there, the two immediately took notice that everyone in the guild was gloomy, and utterly sad. It was also silent within the guild; it was the silence that was making her and Yuki rather anxious.
Yuki and Sam shared a worried look, they both wondered what had happened for their usual rowdy and destructive guild to be so grey and gloomy, but then their eyes quickly landed on the figures of Cana, Gray, and Erza sitting at one of the tables. "Um, guys." They looked up at her with glazed eyes, seeing this made them even more worried. It made it difficult to ask them what was going on, but she had found the words. The three gave them sad eyes before Cana told them what happened, that Lisanna died.
The news absolutely stunned the both of them; it felt like the wind had been knocked out of them, as if someone sucker punched them in the gut. There were no words to describe the pain and sadness Sam and Yuki were feeling right at this moment, and there was a sharp ache in their hearts. Then the young girl's gold colored eyes were beginning to glaze over with tears, same as Yuki but he was nestle his face into her shoulder in order to hide his watery eyes, but that didn't stop a couple of tears to fall and to be absorbed into Sam's shirt. "Oh my god…" she said in a very hushed voice, with raw emotion mixed in, she was trying her absolute best to rein in her rampant emotions. Gray, Cana and Erza all looked at them with sad eyes; they knew how close they were – especially Sam – to Lisanna.
Sam mentally wondered how Mira and Elfman were doing, just the mere thought of losing a sibling, losing Natsu…wait minute, Natsu!
"Where's Natsu?" she quickly asked them with a worried tone. The three wizards shared a confused look for a split second before Erza answered her, "He and Happy are probably at her grave."
"Where is it?!" she loudly snapped at them, losing a bit of patience, making the three flinch at her sudden loud voice.
Small Timeskip
The moment that they told her where Lisanna's grave was located Sam, with Yuki still tightly holding onto her shoulder, quickly turned around and sprinted out of the building before anyone could even blink. It didn't take long for them, mainly Sam, to find the grave, and standing in front of the grave was a familiar pink haired wizard. Happy wasn't in sight. Her sprint turned into a light jog, and then slowed down to a fast paced walk as she got closer to her brother until she came to a complete stop. She was now standing right next to the dragon slayer. He was so focused on Lisanna's grave that he didn't hear her footsteps approaching him, nor does he see her in his peripheral vision.
Opening her mouth to say his name, to let him verbally know that she and Yuki were standing right behind him, but for some reason Sam had stopped herself before she could even make a noise and closed her mouth. Yuki scrunched up his brows, wondering what she was doing, but his face relaxed right away when he saw her gloved hand reaching out and then grabbing hold of Natsu's vest before she gave it a small tug. "Hmm?" Natsu hummed before he slightly turned his body to the right, with a curious look displayed on his face. He raised his brows and blinked at them, "Sis…Yuki!" he was a little surprise seeing Sam and Yuki, he didn't know that they had came home from finishing their job request, but he was still happy that they were now home and he gave them a small toothy smile. "You're back, when did you guys get back?"
"About an hour or two ago, give or take." Sam softly answered him, as both she and Yuki sadly frown at him, they could tell that he was trying his best to make his voice sound even when he was talking, but they could hear the faint shakiness within it. On the way here she was trying to figure out what she was going to say to him, however now that she was here everything that she was going to say to him completely left her mind and she only thought about doing one thing. She had quickly and easily moved in front of Natsu, before wrapping her arms around his waist and pulling him in a warm and gentle –yet firm– hug.
Natsu let out a staggered breath as he looked down at her, a little taken aback from her sudden action as he held his arms slightly up. Yuki on the other hand had quickly jumped from Sam's shoulder and onto Natsu's; he didn't want to get a face full of Natsu's vest. "You don't have to hold it in." She finally spoke, her voice a little muffled by Natsu's vest, and Natsu gave her a genuine confused look.
"Huh?" Yuki couldn't help but shake his head at Natsu.
"It's ok to cry. My shoulders are strong Natsu, so you can cry on them if you want to. It's ok." She spoke again with warmth and compassion laced with her words, but her voice came out shaky as she let go of her control over her emotions and started to cry into her brother's chest. It was all she needed to say to him, but when he heard her begin to cry into his chest that was when the floodgate broke. He wrapped his arms tightly around her figure before he shoved his face into her shoulder, and began to loudly sob into it. Yuki, still on Natsu's shoulder, closed his eyes and bowed his head towards the grave while tears of his own fell onto the ground. And for the next few hours continued just like that; the siblings stood in front of the grave of their dear friend tightly hugging, not wanting to let either one go, and crying, not giving damn if someone heard or saw them.
Flashback Ends
It took a while for everyone to start moving on afterwards, especially Natsu and Elfman, but it was the hardest for Mira. She never blamed Elfman for their little sister's death, but instead she blamed herself for it. Mira had become so sad and depressed the next couple of months, to the point that she slowly lost the will to fight for the ones she loves and cares so much, which caused her to lose most of her magical ability in the process. Saddened by her condition, Sam one day told her; "I know you lost your sister, but Lisanna wouldn't be happy if she saw you like this." she told her, her voice getting stronger. "Didn't you tell me that you promise her that you will live on after her death? Well guess what?! You're not living you are just existing! You are not going to give up; I am not going to let you do that! I'm not just going to let you break the last thing you promised your sister. Beside Lisanna didn't really leave you, she didn't leave any of us. She will always be in our memories, and in our hearts, so she always lives on even if she's not here. So, you have to live Mira, live on with a smile on your face, be cheerful, and most importantly be happy, for her sake." It may've been a little harsh, but it was true nonetheless. Plus Mira wasn't going to argue with Sam, the crimson haired girl knew what it's like to lose someone she loved and cared about. And since then, Mirajane had become the sweet and motherly figure that everyone in the guild knew and loved. And since then she and Sam became had gotten so close that basically became sisters.
"Good luck, Mira." Sam thought, resuming her search for the blonde dirt bag, with determination filled her heart and soul. There's only one thing to concentrate on now…
Protect her family and the citizens of Magnolia and stop Laxus once and for all.
Timeskip after Mira vs. Freed
"Freed vs. Mirajane, both mages withdraw from battle." Levy read the rune that had appeared in the doorway of the guild.
"Well, well, well…the so called powerful Thunder Legion has been taken out." Sam said with clear amusement in her voice, with a toothy smirk on her face.
"The Battle of Fairy Tail…" Gajeel excitedly grinned.
"Laxus is the only one left! He should start fearing for his life when Sam finds him, because she's going to show him no mercy."
Oh dear lord, I am so sorry – again – that it has taken me so long to update this chapter, and I very much appreciate y'all for being patient with me. It has not been the best year for me. First, my dog had passed away earlier this year, COVID happened, and then worst of all…my parents got divorced. Yeah, this has been an absolute shitty year for me and my family, but don't worry about me I'm doing better now, after all what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger right?
Anyway, I'm going to try my best to upload the chapters to this and my other fanfic; I really need to stop procrastinating. Also, I have been thinking about making this a crossover with "Adventures of Sinbad" and "Magi". What do all of y'all think about that? It's going to be a completely separate story to this, with this story Sam and Gray stay together. With the crossover I'm going to have it where when Sam and Gray never confessed their feelings they have for each other, and she is somehow transported into Sinbad's world and meets the lady killer of the sea before he becomes the King of Sindria, even before he conquers his first dungeon. I'm going to make it kind of a Inuyasha thing with how she travels from and to her world to his. I don't know, tell me what all of you think.
This is Keller75863548274483 saying, bye-bye!
