Chapter 5 Solo mission
Alexia Pov
It had been two days since the loss of the dragon talisman, but I still didn't have an answer to explain how I survived that explosion, but since then my uncle has decided to search for the answer to this question and why they are all happening to me these absurd phenomena for this reason after closing I spent a while in my uncle's study while the latter fumbled with Chi spells and other things that I did not understand but that had no effect on me other than making me sneeze, due to the fact that he threw dust in my face and thrust into my nose. The next morning I woke up with a lot of plans in mind because I had a day off I could go jogging in Central Park and then go shopping for the shops and get some suvenirs for Misa and the rest of my friends who stayed in Tokyo to do the project, I couldn't wait to get started. I got out of my fantasies when there was a knock on my door, I went to open
"Hi Alex" it was Mrs. Suzuki the owner of this building a sweet seventy year old woman of Korean origin with gray hair and light brown eyes with a wrinkle and a little shorter than me by about 3 feet "hello lady how are you today"
"very well thank you and sorry if I disturbed you, since you are still in your pajamas but I wanted to ask you for a courtesy, I received this package this morning" she showed me a small package with fragile written on it and the sender's mark

the plan was to sneak into Valmont's office pretending to deliver a package and once inside I would start looking for clues "well let's go into action"

Valmont took the package in his hand when out of the corner of his eye he noticed that his computer was open, which is curious because he always closes it for safety, this alerted him, he suspect that there was someone who sneaked in and that maybe he was still here, he checked but did not see anything strange but then looked at the desk a good place to hide, he calmly approach under the desk to check, Alexia saw her legs and closed her eyes fearfully waiting to be discovered, Valmont bent down ... but he found no one, stood up and scratching his chin said
"very strange".
Alexia opens her eyes and finds herself outside the building left speechless "how did I get out?"
Shendu Pov
i was pinned to the wall watching Valmont's office waiting for that incompetent one to come back with my mouse talisman so that I could leave this statue shape and return to my glorious demonic form hoping it would not fail again as it did every time , he went out of my thoughts hearing the door open but it wasn't he was one of those modern messengers, if I'm not mistaken they are called postmen, they approach the desk and I could concentrate on his figure which I found strangely familiar "that's it" she said,
I'm I was completely surprised I knew whose voice it was, when I finally saw her up close I confirmed my thought, it was Alexia, what was she doing here?, had she been sent to spy on Valmon's movements? but I immediately rejected this hypothesis, Chan would never have risked the life of a friend of his and Black would never have sent anyone out of Section 13, so most likely she came alone of her own accord,

I feel weird like I don't have it to worry about , I tried not to think too much about it I should have kept pretending to be a common statue nothing more, her right hand touched my face her eyes closed as if she was enchanted by something in me, her hand started to move like if she was analyzing my shape as if looking for something, i feel me wince at his every little touch so gentle and delicate even though I couldn't move I could still feel the contact with my skin, his hand was as familiar as the sweet touch of a loved one , my mind was starting to get overwhelmed, I had to use all my self-control not to let my eyes sparkle because of this emotion, when she run my hand to my forehead her eyes shot wide, her blue eyes now they were of an intense bright red color "will have a meaning" she said back to close her eyes . I was out of my mind "I saw right!? or was it just an illusion!?" I thought, her left hand went up and both hands touched my face, her eyes slowly opened as a deep red glow lit up in it, they were demon eyes, the light disappears in the blink of an eye, taking their natural color
"no it can't be" I thought trying to find that light in her eyes. sHe looked away when she heard Valmont's voice and the door opening, she immediately hid under the desk, however Valmont noticing his box was on He thought someone might have come in, look around and then look at the desk, he saw him scratching his chin thoughtfully, he turned the desk to check, Alexia was about to be discovered, Valmont was bending down to check, at that moment I reacted by opening a shadow passage to bring the girl out, I opened it under her in so that it slides smoothly, when Valmont bends down he find only an empty space as I had planned "how strange"
"Tell me Valmont what are you doing?"
"a check, Shendu, I always close my computer before going out and the fact that it was on alarmed me"

Alexia went to her uncle's shop, she still couldn't figure out how she managed to get out of there without getting caught, who knows maybe Uncle was right about the possibility of being a Chi wizard, but it didn't matter now that she had to warn Jackie about his discovery.
Once there she realizes that the door was broken but to check if they were inside, I find them with Jackie with the broken plaster and next to him were Jade and her uncle
"what happened here?" she asked

The girl was unaware that the astral figure of Shendu was observing her from afar, even if she did not have his talisman, he felt satisfied because he finally had the answer to his questions about that mysterious girl, but he would not have imagined so much luck at the beginning hers were just conjectures but after seeing the red glow in her eyes she had no more doubts, Alexia is not her descendant,
