Chapter 2

As the limousine drove around to the front of Auradon Prep, inside Jay and Carlos were fighting over the candy and Myles was trying to mediate "n-no you don't need to- there's plenty for-" he said before sighing "you two would put Wonka out of business" he muttered and rubbed his eyes before looking out the window and groaned.

"What's wrong?" Megan asked, noticing his discomfort. Looking towards the daughter of Morgana, a momentary moment of distrust sinked in Myles' stomach but that went away when he looked into her eyes. They were of true concern. She actually had a pure heart like the others.

"Oh, um … Ben did the marching band welcome thing … I just hope he doesn't do a monologue, talk about embarrassing" he said with a groan as the limo finally stopped and the door opened causing Jay and Carlos to spill out, fighting over one of the seat covers. "I think the embarrassment has already started" Mal said but Myles just shrugged "not sure if that's good or bad, please" He said before directing the three remaining ladies out.

As he finally came out he saw Ben arriving with his girlfriend Audrey and Fairy Godmother. If there was one fairy Merlin butted heads with more than anyone it was her. Needless to say, she and Myles didn't exactly get along either. Which was kinda unfair considering she was the Headmistress of Auradon Prep.

Luckily Mal was smart enough to break up Jay and Carlos' fighting as Myles walked over to his friend's side "were they like that the whole trip?" He asked as Myles hesitated answering before just smiling. Audrey took that as a 'yes' and scoffed. Though just as she turned back to the new arrivals, Jay came over to try and flirt with her. Something both prince and wizard thought was hilarious.

"Welcome to Auradon Prep" FGM said with an obvious fake smile, Myles figured, as Jay went back to the group "I'm Fairy Godmother, Headmistress" she said with a dramatic curtsey, the sight was something Myles had to turn his head away from on risk of rolling his eyes.

"Wow, the Fairy Godmother, as in Bibbidi Bobbiti Boo?" Mal asked as FGM giggled "Bibbity Bobbiti you know it" she said, which did eventually cause Myles to roll his eyes. "Yeah i always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just … appeared, haha, out of nowhere with that sparkly wand and that warm smile … and that sparkly wand" Mal said as Myles just smirked to himself. Her fishing for information wasn't exactly subtle.

"That was in the past, and as i always say don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future" she said as Myles couldn't kept silent anymore "more like ignore the past" he said which caused FGM to stop smiling and glare at the wizard who just responded with a glare of his own.

Ben, who sensed a fight, stepped forward to the group "it's so good to finally meet you all, I'm Ben-" he said but Audrey interrupted "Prince Benjamin, soon to be king. And I'm his girlfriend, Audrey" she said as it was Evie's turn to try to flirt. "You had me at Prince" she said and curtried "Evie, Evil Queen's daughter .. which makes me a princess-" she said but Audrey shook her head "the Evil Queen has no royal status here, and neither do you" she said in a fake kind tone which got Myles fuming. Snarling, he snapped his fingers causing her mouth to vanish, shocking everyone.

"I'm getting real tired of your insults, Audrey-" he started to say but FGM rounded on him "Myles Lidreth Ambrosious, you put her mouth back this instant or you'll get detention for a week!" She practically shouted as Ben looked at his friend pleadingly. With a reluctant sigh, Myles waved his hand and her mouth returned "if she has no royal status then stop calling her mom 'The Evil Queen' … deal?" He said as Audrey just backed away glaring at him, covering her mouth as though that would help.

Turning to the five, Myles' heart dropped seeing their faces, one of slight fear. Which was understandable due to not only the sight of him using magic but also his last name being said. "You're … you're Merlin's son" Megan said full of distrust. Just hearing that felt like something was hurting inside of him. "Because i wanted you to see me for me, just like everyone should-" he said with another glare, this time to both FGM and Audrey "-see you for you … not our parents"

He didn't know it, but Evie seemed to smile at him for sticking up for her which didn't go unnoticed by Mal. "I'll set up their rooms" he said feeling horrible and walked off not hearing Ben calling for his friend who just vanished in a puff of blue smoke to take care of their dorm rooms.

Ben frowned seeing his friend moodily go off and looked to Fairy Godmother and Audrey "I'll show them around" he said as the Headmistress nodded before looking at the group "the doors of wisdom are never shut … but library hours are 8-11 and we do have a little thing called curfews, okay?" She said before looking right at Megan for a bit before walking off with the band following. Audrey was reluctant to leave, but after Myles' snap, Ben figured she wanted to be alone and followed.

Walking to the five, Ben just smiled going to each one of them to shake their hands "It is so, so, good to finally meet you all" he said as Jay just fist bumped him in the chest. Smirking, Ben made a mental note he would make a good Tourney player before going to Mal and shook her hand. Looking at her, Ben felt a tingle in his hand as he looked into her eyes and smiled. He only realized it was longer than it needed to as he continued on "this is a momentous occasion … in one that i hope will go down in history-" he said shaking Carlos' hand and saw there was some chocolate on it and chuckled before shaking Evie's hand "as the day our two people begin to heal" he said before shaking Megan's as Mal rolled her eyes

"or the day you showed five people where the bathrooms are" she said making Ben chuckle "little bit over the top?" He asked as Mal nodded "little more than a little bit" she said chuckling. "So much for my first impression … Myles warned me about that" he said rubbing the back of his head and noticed the unease "look i know you might be nervous but i promise you he's a good guy … just … he can be protective" he said gesturing to the five "obviously he likes you guys. Hey, how about a tour?" he said with a smile and tilted his head for them to follow him which, after deciding it could be safe, they did.

Stopping in front of a golden statue of his father, Ben looked up as the kids caught up and looked towards them "watch this" he said before clapping his hands twice and the statue morphed into a beast. While the others seemed impressed, Carlos yelped and jumped into Jay's arms "it's ok Carlos, dad wanted to have this statue change from beast to man to show anything is possible. Though this is one of the few magic things here, Myles is the only one who openly practices it" he said before looking awkward "kinda shunned for it really" he said as Mal decided to break the tension and looked back up at the statue "he shed much?" She asked as Ben just shrugged "oh yeah … mom won't let him on the couch" he said as both he and Mal chuckled. "Come on, I'll show you the dorms" he said before heading to the school while Carlos tried to clap his hand to change the statue back but ran off seeing he failed.

Inside the halls of the school, several of the students were still bustling about "your classes won't start till tomorrow so you'll have time to settle in today. Doug should have your schedules … Doug!" Ben said, noticing the kid in question upstairs and rushed down. He was still in his band uniform and smiled to the group then looked towards Ben "hey is Myles-?" He started to say but Ben just shrugged "eh, you know him: time to cool off and a cup of tea and he'll be fine" he said making the trumpet player nod and smiled back at the group "hey, I'm Doug, Dopey's son .. that's Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy Grumpy, Sleepy and-" he said counting down the dwarves before noticing Evie and his face went pink "heigh-ho …" he muttered but then cleared his throat as Evie introduced herself.

"U-um yeah … here's your schedules. Standard class requirements: History of Woodsmen and Pirates, Safety Rules for the Internet, and … Remedial Goodness 101" Doug said with the last one in an awkward wince. "Let me guess: new class?" Mal asked as Doug nodded sympathetically "um, your dorm rooms are over that way" he said as Ben said he'd show them as Doug tried to get the seven names again but couldn't remember the last one until Carlos told him 'Sneezy' and walked off.

"So … why isn't magic openly practiced?" Megan asked as Ben tried to think of the best way to word it "It's more or less retired … Fairy Godmother believes that this is the time of Happily Ever Afters and magic shouldn't need to be used to help with that" he said as Mal spoke up "and Myles disagrees" she hypothesized as Ben nodded "he says magic is a part of everything, and those born with magic to not practice it would be like not using your lungs" he said as Megan just crossed her arms "guess you could say the Isle of the Lost is a place for magic to die" she said as Ben stopped and looked at her. Instantly Megan stood straighter and sotic looking right back "you and Myles will get along well" he said with a smirk and continued on leaving a slightly confused Megan behind before realizing she was lagging behind.

Mal was busy making 'changes' to the room and complaining about all the pink when the boys came over to visit and made the same complaint. Megan seemed indifferent and Evie just shrugged saying she didn't mind but instantly Mal knew her friend was hung up about the 'no royal status' thing. That Audrey … seeing her mouth get magiked away was very satisfying, and not just because who her parents were compared to Mal's.

Still though, that was a pointless matter compared to the real issue: the wand. They still had no idea where it was.

As she was musing, Jay came in and dumped a bunch of stuff on his bed as Carlos was playing a game "what's this?" Mal asked Jay who held up a laptop "it's called stealing" he said before looking back to his ill gotten loot. "Ok, what's the point?" She asked as Jay just gave her a smirk. "Well it's like buying whatever I want, except it's free" he said. Out of not understanding the question or simply being a smart aleck, Mal wasn't sure but either way she didn't have the patience.

"Or, you can not bother with the crumbs now and wait till we get the world" she said as Jay just scoffed with a smirk "that's your mom's thing, not mine" he said as Mal finally lost it "don't you all get it?!" She said having the other four look at her. "This is our one shot! To prove to our parents that we are just as bad as them … that we are evil and vicious and ruthless and cruel. that we're rotten-" "to the core" she said as Jay, Evie, and Carlos repeated their creed.

Megan, however, wasn't part of their group but she knew how they felt. True, Morgana didn't want revenge and did love her, Megan didn't want her mom to be disappointed in her. So she knew she had to help them.

"Well Ben said magic was rarely used, but i doubt they would destroy it" Megan said, sitting cross legged on her bed as Mal thought for a moment "Evie, mirror me" she said as Evie got out her mother's compact magic mirror "Mirror, Mirror on t- in my hand … tell me where Fairy Godmother's wand … stand?" The blue-haired villain said as Jay chuckled at her nice save.

Megan couldn't help but smirk at the four's teamwork, as cluttered as it seemed. Finally they discovered the wand was at a museum nearby and went to the door before Mal looked at Megan who hadn't moved. "Not that I care, but are you coming or not?" She asked as Megan got in her bag and pulled out her mom's spellbook, which looked like a very old tome that was about two and a half inches thick, before looking at her "what if by the off chance you fail to get it? Or someone comes by? They'll see us missing … so I'm gonna create doubles for you guys, and i gotta stay to maintain the image" she said as Mal actually looked impressed "Wow … you can do that?" She asked, making Megan just shrug "one way to find out" she said before looking to the empty room which Mal and her gang looked to "Zaveros Daveros Keukum Quel, let those leaving be here as well!" She said waving her hand and … nothing happened.

"Wow … that was impressive!" Mal said mockingly as the others laughed. Megan's eyes flashed golden and got irritated before trying again "Zaveros Daveros Kerum duar, made exact doubles of these four!" She said and jerked her hand outward and felt the prickling on the back of her neck and in her fingers. In a large puff of swirling smoke, a clone of Mal, Jay, Carlos, and Evie appeared in the center of the room near the table. Their expressions were emotionless but they looked exactly like the originals.

"Okay … now it's impressive!" Carlos said, making Mal glare at him but Carlos just shrugged and gestured to the doubles and looked at her. Megan just smirked and looked to the originals and put the spell book in her lap. "Moonlight's burning kids" she said before slightly gave a worrying frown "and i don't know how long i can keep them here" she said as Mal nodded and grabbed her own spellbook, not wanting to admit anything and left with the others.

Megan sighed slightly and looked to the doubles who just looked back "um … do what you normally would?" She asked in a question-like command as the four went around the room, Carlos and Jay playing a boxing game, Evie drawing dress designs and Mal looking through a replica of her spell book.

Smirking that she was glad her first spell went pretty well without any side effects, she got off the bed and stretched before hearing a knock at the door. With a slight frown, she opened the door gingerly and saw no one, however when she looked down she saw a gift basket and checked down either side of the hall wondering who took it before bringing it inside. In the basket were chocolate bars with the word Wonka on it, several packages of fruits and (Megan instantly smirked knowing who sent it) about four bags of Jelly Babies. On top was a card that had swoopy cursive handwriting that luckily Megan learned from her mom how to read and write in.

Megan wasn't shocked when Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos came back empty handed. As soon as they came back in the room, their doubles vanished just as Mal fell face first on her bed with a frustrated sigh which the boys took as a sign to go to their own rooms.

"Well if it was gonna be easy, anyone could do it" Megan said, only earning a glare from Mal as Evie went to get her pajamas and noticed the gift basket. "Who sent this?" She asked as Megan just shrugged "someone just left it, though i might have an idea" she said as Evie just smirked mischievously.

"Ooooh, looks like you caught someone's eye" she said as Megan blushed "w-what?! No of course not, it's for all of us obviously" she said but Evie just continued to grin. "Will you two just give it a rest? Thanks to Jay now we gotta go to school tomorrow. And it won't be fun like on the Isle" Mal said before grabbing a pillow and slammed it over her head.

With a shared look, Evie and Megan just shrugged and decided to turn in for the night, but not before Megan grabbed the bags of her new favorite candy and stuffed them in her bag for later with a hidden smirk.

Short chapter, i know but i could think of no other way to end the chapter.

Kinda skipped the museum heist cause well i kinda got lazy but still, figured this was a better alternative.

And no, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory isn't Disney but i could think of no other candy maker licenced by the Mouse House.
