Glitchy began by exploring the S.S. Anne, defeating all the trainers inside including her rival. During her exploration, Pacho evolved into Parasect. She obtained the HM Cut from the Captain then watched the S.S. Anne leave port.
Glitchy taught cut to Pacho then headed into Lt. Surge's gym. Abba helped her earn her third gym badge. She took a quick stop at the Pokémon Fan Club to receive the bike voucher just for listening to an elderly man talk about his Rapidash.
She travelled through Diglett Cave back to Pewter City. She found Professor Oak's aid who gave her the HM for flash. Glitchy then headed into Pewter City, using cut to get into the back of the museum where she was given amber. Abba teleported her back to Vermilion City.
She headed back to Cerulean City, handed in the bike voucher for a bike and rode it to the Pokémon Centre outside of Rock Tunnel. She brought out her Pikachu, named Pizza, and taught him flash in preparations for her travels through Rock Tunnel
