Outside the Raven Tail Base

For what seemed like hours the Fairy Tail guild tried to search their way through the forest sneakily. They did not want to be spotted and risk having Daimon's life put in danger. For what seemed like hours the four wizards walked through the woods unhindered, until they met an unexpected obstacle. Laxus was leading the way as usual when he suddenly stopped in his tracks.

"Hey Laxus what did you stop for?" Bixlow asked curiously.

"Something else is here, I can smell it." Laxus said with no expression on his face.

"Is it a member of Raven Tail or Ivan?" Mira asked, fearful they were discovered.

"No but it's possible they could be with them."

It was then the ground suddenly started to tremble and out of the trees came a giant green vulcan. He stomped towards them menacingly, a large creepy smile across his face.

"Well looks like I've found some tasty snacks!" The Vulcan bellowed.

"Out of our way ape face!" Laxus said in a very low threatening voice.

"No can do, bearded man promised me could eat all trespasser who come here. And you is one of them, prepare to be my meal!" The Vulcan said as he then reached for Laxus.

However Laxus then suddenly flashed out of the spot where he was standing and appeared behind the Vulcan.

"I gave you a warning now pay the consequences! Lighting Dragon Roar!" Laxus bellowed as he shot lightning from his mouth.

Immediately the Vulcan was electrocuted with intense energy, feeling every muscle in his body seize. However he managed to recover and turned to punch his ginormous fist into Laxus. But then he get the back of his head being pulled by the fur. He looked up to see a demon like woman in a skimpy pink outfit and large black leathery wings.

"That was a mistake." Mira said as she then tossed the large Vulcan by the fur.

The Vulcan bellowed in pain as he then hit a large tree and knocked it down with his body. For a good minute he was quite disoriented, but barely managed to recover. However as he began to see straight again the Vulcan saw none other than Bixlow in front of him.

"So you thought you were going to guard the way to my nephew's kidnappers from us, your dumber than I thought. Show him how dumb babies!" Bixlow commanded, his eyes glowing green.

"So dumb so dumb so dumb!" Bixlow's souls chuckled as they pounded the Vulcan endlessly.

For what seemed like forever the soul dolls continued to attack the Vulcan, till at last they stopped. The poor Vulcan was absolutely shaking with fear of his opponents but managed to slowly open his eyes to see Makarov standing in Bixlow's place.

"You lasted much longer than expected beast, that must mean you're quite strong. So out of common courtesy I will give you same opportunity to leave as I do all our strongest foes. The master said calmly as he suddenly began to glow.

"No please no more hurting!" The Vulcan screamed fearfully.

"Then you will leave my sight by the time I count to three..one!" Makarov bellowed as he began to prepare fairy law.

Almost immediately the Vulcan was freaking out and struggling to his feet.

"Two!"

The Vulcan then sprinted out of sight, his previous confidence now completely and utterly shattered. Makarov stopped glowing and then turned around leading the rest of the fairy tail members on their quest to rescue Daimon. If one thing had become clear in that moment it was that no man or creature was to stand in the way of a Fairy Tail rescue mission without suffering the consequences. So the group continued on their journey undeterred wanting nothing more than to get what was precious to them back.

The Raven Tail Lab

Everything was fuzzy and heavy to Daimon as he laid on the floor of his cell. The poor little boy was drained of energy, his clothes were barely holding on, and his poor body was covered in bruises and other marks of abuse. But with heavy breath Daimon began to wake up his whole tiny little body feeling like it was on fire. As he slowly but surely woke up he leaned up against a wall and pulled his little legs into his chest.

Daimon then began to cry, missing his mommy and daddy wishing they could be there to hold him and comfort him in his time of need. He was cold, drained of all energy, in pain, and just too young to understand what was truly going on. As he continued to sob into himself it was then Ivan came into the room, the same sadistic smile on his face.

"Oh no, what's wrong little boy? Are you hurting?" Ivan asked in a very condescending way.

"I wan my daddy!" Daimon sobbed not even looking Ivan in the eye.

"Well my little grandson I'm afraid that won't be happening, your daddy doesn't even know where you are. And he never will because thanks to the little battery of magic you have inside, I will end your family's life and Fairy Tail with it!" Ivan bellowed with a cruel laugh.

As Ivan laughed Daimon suddenly snapped unwilling to let anyone do or say anything bad about his family and Fairy Tail.

"No! Faiwy Taiw an my mommy an daddy gonna kick youw butt! Yous gonna be sowwy!" Daimon screamed back as he got back on his feet and banged on the glass.

"Ah so you still have some fight in you, that's good because that means you'll have plenty of energy to feed my death weapon with. So scream and yell all you want you little grub, no one is coming to rescue you and unless you find some miraculous way to escape your magic is good as mine! Sleep well little one you're going to want all the energy you have to watch or even survive destroying your own home!" Ivan yelled as he pounded back on the glass, causing Daimon to fall on his butt, and then left the room.

Daimon looked down in discouragement, unsure of what to do. He was just a little three year old, what in the world could he do to stop his crazy grandfather. However in the midst of his stupor something that his Uncle Natsu said once came into his little head " you can't just wait for something to happen, you gave to take action"!

It was then Daimon felt inspired knowing that there was no way his mommy and daddy were going to come if he didn't try to find them first, but that meant he had to escape first. The little boy looked all around him for some sort of way out but nothing seemed to be an option, that was until he saw a small crack in the bottom of the glass surrounding him. An idea popped into his little head and Daimon closed his eyes and concentrated as much as a toddler mind could.

Within seconds he began to glow and managed a shot of lightning at the crack causing it to shatter open. Luckily the glass didn't fly towards him and cut him up, but the little use of magic tires Daimon out. He was breathing heavily and his little hands on his little knees panting for air. However he then heard voices meaning he had to move quickly.

"What was that?"

"It came from the lab, it must be the brat!"

Daimon quickly gathered himself up and ran quickly but carefully out of the cage and out of sight. Then almost seconds after he hid, Nalpudding and Kurohebi came running in. Immediately they noticed the jagged hole in the tube and their power source missing from its contents.

"The brat escaped!" Kurohebi said angrily.

"Alright you little grub where are you!" Nalpudding bellowed looking all around him for any signs of Daimon.

But Daimon kept completely silent, knowing if he was discovered he would be subjected to magic draining and destroying Fairy Tail.

"Ughhh great now we have to go and find the kid!" Nalpudding complained as he turned to leave the lab.

"I'll notify Master Ivan, as angry as it may make him." Kurohebi said as he turned to leave as well.

Daimon waited in his spot till he was sure his captors were gone. Then as soon as he was sure he toddled across the room till he made it out the door. From there, and as sneakily as can be, Daimon made his way through Raven Tails base.

The entire time he kept thinking of his family in Fairy Tail as a way to overcome the pain he was in from the draining of his magic power.

The Forest

As the little ragtag group walked all of them felt absolutely exhausted from their long journey.

"I don't know about you youngsters but this old man is feeling his age get to him." Makarov said as he stopped in his tracks.

"Gramps has a point. I don't think my legs can take another step, after almost twenty four hours of straight walking." Bixlow chimed as he bent over hands on his knees.

Laxus and Mira looked back at their little group and as determined as they knew they all were to get Daimon back, they couldn't do that on zero energy.

"We'll set up camp here for the night." Laxus declared feeling both emotionally and physically exhausted.

So together with the limited supplies they all had brought with them they built a fire and found areas to sleep. Bixlow caught some fish from a nearby stream and Mira cooked it for all of them. They all then sat around the fire quietly and despite the fish being quite delicious, didn't eat much. All of them had too much on their minds and heavy burdens in their hearts.

Bixlow just looked at a picture he always kept of Lisanna worrying over his very pregnant wife's recovery. Makarov stared down at his plate cursing his damn age that only prevented him more and more from keeping his family safe. All the while Mira leaned against her husband, who wrapped his arms tightly around her, burdened with the grief of her child being in danger. Laxus however only felt shame, shame that he couldn't keep his son safe from those that would use him, a promise he made to himself when Daimon was just a little infant.

"Laxus are you alright?"

Laxus broke from his stooper of shame and liked towards his wife who looked at him with great worry.

"I'm fine." Laxus tried to say toughly as possible, not wanting to worry his wife.

But despite his best efforts to hide his negative feelings Mira knew her husband too well. She put her hand on his cheek and turned his head to face her.

"You don't always have to be strong for me, you can tell me what you're feeling."

Laxus looked into his wife's kind and understanding eyes and immediately his facade crumbled.

"Huh, I feel so ashamed."

"Ashamed? Ashamed of what?" Mira asked as she stroked Laxus's hair.

"That I couldn't protect my boy. My boy who trusted me and relied on me to protect him. How could I just let him be taken while I wasn't watching and by my deadbeat dad of all losers."

"Laxus, there was nothing you or I could have done to have protected him. We were trying to provide for our son and Ivan knew it was the only time we would have left him. You are a wonderful father and Daimon absolutely loves you. Now no more of this or I'll have to physically pound it into your head." Mira said with a slight chuckle to lighten her husband's mood.

"Alright alright!" Laxus chuckled back as he held his wife close to him.

From there the two just hold onto each other and rest from the days trials, wanting every last scrap of energy to save their baby boy.

The Raven Tail Base

As Daimon moved every tiny muscle in his little body ached and screamed with pain, but he couldn't give in. Without his warning, his home would be destroyed and Fairy Tail would be no more. He wanted nothing more than to be a wizard from the same guild his mommy and daddy were from and no magic cannon was going to wreck that.

For what seemed like hours Daimon searched about the base for a way out, but with each passing minute he felt more and more lost. He tried every which way but each turn seemed to lead him deeper and deeper into a maze of hallways. The toddler was feeling more and more frustrated, wishing there was someone to help him in the scary and confusing maze he was trapped in. Eventually after so long of searching and just the overall exhaustion and pain he felt, the poor little boy sat down and cried.

He was trying so hard but nothing he did seemed to make a difference. Daimon felt no energy, magic or otherwise, and he knew nothing about where he was. He just wanted to cuddle himself up in his mommy and daddy's arms knowing that their tender touch could make him feel better. But who was to say that his parents were even coming, what if his escape was only in vain and would only get him more pain. So then in a desperate attempt to get some kind of answer or sign that someone was coming to rescue Daimon ran to a nearby window, pulled his little body onto the ledge, and called out for help.

"Mama! Daddy! Hewp me!" Daimon squealed, despite knowing it would probably get him caught and captured by Raven Tail.

The Forest

The desperate cry washed over like a wave through the vast green ocean of trees till it made its way to where the group of Fairy Tail members had decided to rest for the night. Laxus and Mira were sound asleep when the blood curdling scream reached Laxus's ear. With a great jolt Laxus was on his feet looking around frantically, waking Mira up in the process.

"Laxus what is going…"

"I hear him! Daimon he's calling out to us!" Laxus yelled his eyes threatening to bulge out of his head.

The same went for Mira as the news reached her ears causing her to look frantically for her child as well.

"Daimon! Baby are you there! Please answer me!" Mira called out.

As the two parents frantically called out to their child Bixlow and Makarov woke up both disoriented as to what was going on. However Makarov quickly noticed what was going on and got up his face red with anger.

"Laxus what are you doing?! Do you want the whole of Raven Tail to know we are here?!" Makarov yelled angrily at his reckless grandson.

"Daimon called out to us, I need him to respond! It could be the only way we get him back! Daimon!" Laxus bellowed one last time.

The last cry of Laxus made its way to the base and rang right in Daimon's little ears, having slightly raised senses from his fathers lacrima in his blood. Almost immediately his heart fluttered and a hopeful smile stretched across his face.

"Mama! Daddy! I's wigh hewe!" Daimon called out with all the strength of his little lungs.

Daimon's response was immediately heard meaning that they had established communication.

"Don't worry sparky we know where you are! Me, mama, gramps, and uncle bixlow are coming for you! Just hold and be daddy's brave little soldier ok?" Laxus said with great worry in his voice.

"I'll twy daddy, bu huwy deys wanna huw fawy taiw! Dey has a big thingy an...ah!" Daimon screamed as he was suddenly grabbed roughly from behind.

"Daimon baby what's happening!? Speak to me?!" Laxus screamed frantically.

"Laxus what's happening, what are they doing to my baby?!" Mira asked, panicking as she heard her husband's tone change.

"I don't know, he's being taken too far away! Daimon tell me what's happening daddy's losing you!"

But unbeknownst to the little group, Daimon had been caught by Daphne who was dragging him away.

"Now now my little experiment I'm afraid I can't pet you call for help there. Especially when I'm so close to getting my revenge on that pesky Fairy Tail guild, back to your cell with you!" Daphne said with no empathy or mercy as she carried the struggling toddler in her arms off.

"Weh me go! Weh me go! My mama an daddy's gonna make yous sowwy!" Daimon screamed as loudly as he could before he was dragged back into the Raven Tail base.

"Daimon! Daimon!" Laxus called out several more times before he realized his son was gone.

He looked down at the ground, his knuckles clenching tightly as his body shook with anger.

"They're going to pay for the harm they've done to my boy!" Laxus bellowed all mercy in him virtually gone.

Everyone nodded in agreement, all their worries and tears gone, now replaced with rage and determination to get back their boy and to make the Raven Tail guild suffer while they were at it. Without a word the group moved forward as the sun rose behind them, for today was the day the Raven Tail would learn what it meant to invoke the wrath of Fairy Tail.
