Chapter 2

Bruce woke up. His neck was aching from its position on the couch as it always did. He supported himself up with his arms and looked around for Selina.

She was at the balcony and watching the distant fog blocked adeptly by the skyscrapers; she had put on only her bra and her underwear and yet she was not affected by the cold wind ushering through her pale skin and letting her hair fly.

Bruce got up and reached Selina; he stood by her. Selina held onto Bruce with her left arms and let her head rest on his shoulder. They stood there for about thirty seconds.

Afterwards, Selina placed a small kiss on his arm and stepped back inside. She lit a cigarette as she put on her pants and her shirt. She then leapt onto Bruce with open arms who was surprised by her sudden strive for tenderness and affection.

She broke free, and her silhouette returned to its stoic state once again. She raised him her hand and left Bruce's apartment.
