Ochako Uraraka was a good girl. She loved her parents and wanted nothing more than to let them live easily. She had decided from a young age that the best way she could do that was to go into arguably the most dangerous job on the planet. And after today she was going to be one step closer to achieving that goal. She'd even managed to help someone with her quirk.
She'd felt happy with herself about it, like she'd done her good deed for the day, the wild green hair quickly slipping from her mind as she focused on the upcoming exam. She had done pretty well on the written exam, in her opinion. There hadn't been anything she didn't know at all. The problem had come during the practical exam. Or more accurately right after that humungous robot the teacher had called the "Zero-pointer" had appeared.
Ochako had already pushed her quirk as far as she could, lifting robots into the air and letting gravity take care of the rest. She was exhausted, her stomach churning as the side-effects of her quirk ran though her body. She hadn't been fully focused when the Zero-pointer had appeared, not been able to notice the rubble falling around her. Directly onto her. She'd cried out instinctively, looking up at the crowd of other examines as they turned tail and fled. She'd felt hopeless. Like a failure.
And then the boy had appeared. The same one she'd saved from falling outside, beside her, asking if she was okay. Dark green hair and emerald eyes glowed in the sun, pale skin almost blinding her for a moment, before he yanked the lump of concrete off her leg with little effort. He'd collapsed to his knees, his eyes going blank as he muttered something, a moment later. She'd asked what was wrong. Had looked into his eyes. Had felt calm. So very calm.
She'd given him permission to drink her blood, his body visibly strengthening as he swallowed. And then he'd stopped, and Ochako had felt…sad, maybe? Disappointed? About what, she wasn't sure, but she'd quickly forgotten it as the teen launched himself upwards, flying through the air until he was level with the Zero-pointer's face. He'd wound his arm back and punched.
The robot had stood no chance. Its head crumpled like a can, flying off it's shoulders as the entire construct collapsed backwards in a series of explosions and showers of sparks. She had watched as the boy slowly descended, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. She could make out his arm, the flesh a mottled mess of red and purple, slowly knitting itself back together, the swelling and bruising fading quickly as he dropped.
Ochako felt a strange sense of pride as she watched this. He'd drunk her blood. It was her blood that had strengthened him so much. It was her blood that had allowed him to fly. It was her blood that was healing him. It was her blood that he had drunk. It was her blood that he would drink again.
The thought had startled her out of her surprise just as the boy had landed, Present Mic calling the end of the test a moment later. She'd wanted to talk to the boy, smiling at him as he looked over at her. To ask his name. What his quirk was. If he wanted to get something to eat after the exam.
Ochako blinked. She wasn't normally this forward. She'd never had a boyfriend, or even much of a crush before. What was it about this boy that made her want to talk to him? Why was she so calm thinking about this? Was she in lo-?
The though was cut off as a wave of embarrassment flooded through her. How could she be in love? She'd just met him! Yes, he'd saved her, but she'd been helped by Heroes and other people before, and she hadn't fallen in love with them. Was it because he was the same age as her? Was it because he was cute, yet also strangely handsome in a mysterious sort of way? What was she thinking? When had she become calm again? What was going on with her mind?
And then the man in the black tracksuit had kicked him in the back of the head.
Ochako hadn't seen him approach. One moment the green-haired boy had been smiling at her, the next he was slung over the man's shoulder, unconscious with a pair of handcuffs on his wrists. Ochako had tried to stand up, to call out and stop the man, but she'd only managed a strangled gasp of pain as she stood on her swollen ankle, her vision going white. When the pain had cleared enough for her to see again, the man was gone, replaced by an elderly woman who kissed her ankle, the pain immediately fading as she was handed a small bag of gummy bears.
And now she was here, standing outside the teacher's lounge of the biggest Hero school in the country. Her heart pounded in her chest, nervous about maybe having to confront the strange man from before. Maybe there'd be a different Hero inside. Oh, that was right, UA employed Heroes as its teachers. She was about to talk to a Hero. Directly. About the boy from the exam. That's right! This isn't about her! It's about him! It's for him! They probably think he attacked her or something and she had to fix that! It was to help him!
She let the calm wash over her again as she knocked on the door, opening it a moment later to step inside, the man who'd given the presentation and watched over their exam grinning widely at her.
"What's up, little listener?" Present Mic smiled, Ochako smiling back friendlily.
"Hello sir, I was wondering, you know the boy from the entrance exam? The one with fluffy green-hair and pale skin?"
"The one who bit someone?" the cockatoo-like Hero hummed, suddenly looking very serious, "Yeah, I know about him. He's being watched over right now. We'll have to find out why he-."
"I gave him permission."
"What?"
"I gave him permission to bite me. To drink my blood," Ochako repeated, a strange thrill running up her spine as she recalled the sensation of his lips on her skin, "He asked, and I said yes. That's why I'm here. To tell you I said yes. That I gave him permission."
"Oh," Present Mic looked lost for a moment, before his smile returned, "Well, that's good to know! I'll let the relevant people know about that! He'll probably still have some points deducted, but you've probably saved him from automatic disqualification!"
Ochako nodded, the wave of relief washing through her surprising, before she waved goodbye to the Pro and left.
Her skin tingled as she felt the soft touch of lips against her flesh. Pale hands moved up her body, gentle, patient, strong as they dragged fingertips across her skin, leaving trails of sparks dancing through her nerves. Emerald eyes looked down at her, full of want and an unmistakable Hunger. A pinprick against her neck sent a jolt of pleasure through her body, her back arching. The sound of swallowing filled her ears as she gasped and moaned, hands coiling in the sheets. The hands moved again, exploring her body, sending jolts of ecstasy through her as she twisted and groaned beneath him.
Ochako woke with a gasp, staring at her bedroom ceiling in shock, her mind filled with a strange mixture of arousal and peace.
Did she really just have that dream?
Yes, I did. Said the calm part of her mind.
Was it really about him?
Yes, it was. The calm part of her mind said again.
Was she…was she really in love with him?
Not yet. Came the reply, a strange sense of inevitability lurking behind the words as Ochako got out of her bed, pausing as she stood.
She looked down at her pajamas, just a simple tank top and a long pair of comfortable pants, with panties underneath. Panties that were currently slightly uncomfortable in a very particular way.
"I need to change."
