Chapter 4

Bruce climbed the watchtower despite his fatigue or reddening skin meanwhile. He never could acknowledge the true height of the structure until he made it to the peak. After this achievement, he would then start to marvel at the accessibility of the structure itself, for it revealed just about everything under that was visible in a thirty-mile radius. After would come the stage where he marveled at his own ability of observance and detection, for he saw Selina walking in what was a despicable yet solemn neighbourhood.

He did not grow concerned; not anymore at least. Selina was certainly not innocent, and anyone who ever glanced at her could tell. She could look angry, sad, sly or confident, but she was none of those things: not always when she looked so, anyway.

Selina was leaning on a worn, almost crumbled shack. Her look was sharp and witted, yet her mind was in distant places.

The door next to her opened which she did not bother to look at. Outside stepped Roman Sionis who turned to Selina with a lecherous look, but he knew better. He raised his arm and invited Selina in; she complied.
