"We must ensure that he is not a threat!"
The other girls looked over at Ibara as the vine-haired girl suddenly stood up from her desk, determination burning in her eyes.
"Who?" Kendo asked, crossing her arms as Setsuna and Kinoko just grinned at each other.
"Midoriya!" Ibara continued, the green-haired youth having been on her mind more than she would like to admit after their match during the Sports Festival.
"This again?" Kendo sighed, pinching her nose, "You're getting to be as bad as Monoma, you know?"
"Sounds like someone has a crush to me!" Setsuna chuckled as she dropped an arm around Ibara's shoulders, "Our pure child is falling for the big bad monster of 1-A!"
"I am not!" Ibara shrieked, stumbling back as Setsuna laughed.
"It's just his quirk, Ibara," Kendo sighed, "It only makes him LIKE a Vampire, not an actual monster. He even told you that religious symbols don't work on him, for crying out loud! And I'm sure that UA would never let anyone that would actually hurt its students into the school!"
"Even so, we must still investigate!" the girl said passionately, "To ensure that he is not a danger to the sanctity of UA!"
"I bet you want him to endanger your sanctity, huh?" Setsuna poked at Ibara with a floating hand, immediately stepping back as Kendo moved forwards, hand and eyebrow raised, "Sorry! Sorry, just teasing!"
"Midoriya!"
Izuku turned at the shout, spotting 1-B's Itsuka Kendo running up to him.
"Hi Kendo, is something wrong?" he asked, eyes darting ot the side as he spotted some movement around a corner behind the red head.
"Not really. Well, I hope not," she sighed, "I was just wondering if you've noticed-?"
"Shiozaki and some of the other 1-B girls following me around? Yeah," He finished for her, watching as she gave a defeated sigh, "Why are they doing that, by the way?"
"Ibara wanted to make sure you weren't doing anything "evil" or "ungodly" or something," Kendo replied, making air quotes as she spoke, "They've been following you around for a few days now and keep whispering to each other about you."
"Oh," Izuku blushed, spluttering slightly, "I…uhm…that's kind of embarrassing, actually. I…uhm…I wasn't planning on doing anything like that, so…"
"That's what I told them, but they decided to try tailing you anyway," Kendo sighed, "How long have you known?"
"Oh, I recognized the smell of their blood on I think the second day?" Izuku replied, tapping his chin, "Shiozaki's smells like fresh cut grass, Kodai-san smells sort of metallic and Yanagi-san smells…well, I don't know hoe to describe it? Ghostly? Like you'd imagine a ghost to smell?"
"I didn't ask," Kendo sighed, blinking suddenly, looking at the other teen, "Wait, you can do that? Smell the difference between people's blood?"
"I guess?" Izuku shrugged.
"What do I smell like?" Kendo asked, slightly excited.
"Oh…well…uhm…" Izuku muttered, his blush deepening, "L-like hard work and…and…kind of like…sweat."
"Sweat?" Kendo asked, staring at the green-haired boy as he hurriedly nodded, "My blood smells like…sweat?"
"Sort of?" he squeaked, "I'm sorry! It's the only way I could think of describing it!"
"Like sweat," the red head muttered as she turned away, walking behind the corner the three other girls were hiding behind.
A moment later, there was a cry of surprise, the distinctive sound of a hand chopping the back of three necks coming from around the corner as the three spying girls collapsed. Kendo enlarged her hands to carry them away, muttering the whole time.
"Sweat. I smell like sweat."
