Green eyes burned in the dark.
The boy shivered as he stood, frozen in place, the radioactive eyes drawing closer and closer until he could see the burning red of their pupils. Could see the fury boiling in those glowing eyes.
The creature stalking from the shadows, one hand twisted into long claws, the other arm completely missing, a twisting mass of blood and blades swirling from the ragged stump.
"S̴̰̫̓ͯ͌ͩ̀͊h͕ͥ̈͊ͪi̠ͬ͒ͤ̇g͓̮̯̩̤͛ḡ̰̘͛̐̏ͯy̷̝̣̪̙̪̩̐ͨ́."
The voice. That voice that grated on his mind and soul. That voice that wormed it's way through him in such a way that it twisted his guts and tore at his sanity.
"S̖̣̲͇̬̩̱̈ͪ̔͑̓̑ͯh̨̝̣̗̳̓͑̆ȉ̗̩͍̼͇͈͎g̹͕̜̜͛̓͊ͧͦgͣ̚y̥͡."
Tomura gritted his teeth as he stood against the beast, its lips curling back in a smile that stretched too far across its face. Fangs glistened in some unseen light as the monster took another step towards him.
"S̰̔̍h͚͇̱̭͉͉͎ͫͣ͒̈́͠i̧̺̲ͭ̂̏ͭ̈̄͂g̠̺̘͔̲ͫͣͥḡ͉̗̠̼̃͒̎͊͒ͅy͓̜̏."
The hand shot out before Tomura could react, wrapping around his throat as he let out an involuntary shriek, feeling the razor-sharp claws press tightly against his throat.
"W̰͖̰͍ͣͮ̔͝ě̥̭̪̙̰̉̽̽̋ͦ͡ ̞̠͖̗̬ͮ̆̓̉̌̽͝h͍̞͐ͪͯ̾ͭ͂͢â͛̌̄v̩̯͎̞͖͉͍͞e͆͆ͅ ͉ͮ̄u͕̻̹ͣ̅̽͡ͅͅn͙̣̙̐͠f̢i̦̺̾̎̽ͣ͑̾͒n̘̝͛͋̃͑̃ỉ̫̦̪͖̳̺͂ͮs̽̈́͋̋̈́̚͏h̫̫̾̃ͧ̉͆̑e̾͒͗̎ͫd̘̫̮̩̏̐ͫ̂͂̕ ͈̥̹͍̫͓̓̋̑b̹͙̻u̝͈̎̑̑̈ͦ̆ͧs̛̮͓͎̻͙͉̜i̝ͮͯ̎ͫ̾͗͘ṇ̩̰̺͕ͣ̓̋̄̚e͎̝̖̹͂̈́̄ͨ͆͢sͮ͊̾͐ͮͮ̀͟s͔̭̩̠ͥ̃͂̂̐̎."
Tomura threw his hands up, grabbing a hold of the creature's wrist and face as it began to laugh, it's body melting around his fingers as he felt a scream bubbling up in his throat.
Shigaraki stared at the spot of damp on the ceiling of the office he was using to sleep, shifting slightly on the uncomfortable mattress beneath him.
"Fuck," he spat as he pushed himself upright, staggering to his feet as he bit back a yawn.
The young man stumbled across the dark room, cursing to himself as he felt for where he'd left his crutch, knocking the object to the floor. Grumbling, he picked it up, throwing open the door and squinting in the bright light of the hallway, a series of halogen bulbs buzzing above his head.
"Fucking lights," he muttered, "I preferred the bar."
He continued on down the hall until he reached a small kitchen, meant for the workers that would have worked at the warehouse they were using as a temporary base if it weren't abandoned. He sniffed as he looked around the bright room, spotting several pizza boxes piled up in one corner, walking unsteadily over to them, sneering slightly as he lifted the lid of the top one.
"Why don't you get a proper leg?" the words almost startled him, which he hid by tossing the box to the side, "Your "Sensei" seems to have enough power and money to get you a real fancy bit of tech."
"Because…he has other things planned," Tomura growled as Dabi walked into he room, pulling out one of the weather-beaten chairs from the small table in the center of the room, sitting down heavily, "Who the fuck ordered these pizzas?"
"Kurogiri," Dabi said, "Hey, toss me that first box, that was mine."
"This…thing?" he spat as he threw the box across the room, Dabi leaning out and catching it expertly before the last few slices of pizza could come flying out, "Who the hell put's that much chili and peppers on a pizza? With pineapple."
"Hey, it's good," the scarred man hummed through a mouthful of food, "Yours is in the fridge. Kurogiri ordered it special."
Tomura grunted as he hobbled over to the fridge, yanking the door open and pulling out the box inside, a slight smile twitching on his face as he opened it and inspected the pizza inside.
"And you say my food is weird," Dabi muttered, "I took one look at that monstrosity and almost threw up."
"Go to hell," Tomura growled as he sat at the table opposite Dabi, lifting a slice to his lips, "It's good."
