"S-Sire…"

"Yes, Young One?" the older man said as he looked over to his charge.

"Can you…can you teach me about girls?"

"…Girls?" the man sighed as he looked at Izuku, the teen nodding slowly as he looked away his face bright red, "Is this not a conversation you should be, for lack of a better word, having with your parents?"

"What? Why?"

"Well, such things are commonly taught by parents or school programs," Sire said, Izuku looking at him in confusion as the man continued, "However, if you need me to teach you the facts of life, I would be willing."

"Facts of…WHAT?!" Izuku squeaked, steam bursting from the top of his head as he blushed, "N-n-n-no, Sire! N-not that! I already know about that!"

"Oh? Then what do you, for lack of a better word, need from me?"

"I…Ochako and Tsuyu…they…I think they like me."

"Ah, and you are, for lack of a better word, unsure of what to do about this?"

"Yes."

"Very well," the well-groomed man said, leaning back in his chair as he looked up at the ceiling for a moment, "Tell me, how do you feel about them?"

"A-about them?" Izuku mumbled, "They…they're my friends…and I drink from them a lot."

"Anything else?" Sire asked, looking at the teen as Izuku placed a hand on his chin, beginning to mumble to himself.

"I don't know…how do I feel about them? I get really protective of them sometimes…like when I almost hissed at Monoma for calling Tsu a toad…or the time I almost punched him for saying Ochako was weak cause she was feeling ill…"

The older man watched as the teen rattled through a series of events even as he seemed to be coming to a conclusion of his own.

"I…I want to protect them?" he said, looking at the older man, "Is…is that it? It doesn't feel like that's all."

"It is not," Sire said, getting up and walking to the massive bookshelf that lined the one wall of his apartment, pulling a book from one of its shelves, "It is something much more."

Izuku watched as the man walked back to the table, placing the book down on it. Izuku gasped as his Sire paged through the book, amazed by the drawings inside, each page dedicated to an image of a man or woman.

"Who…who are they?" Izuku asked.

"Them?" Sire chuckled, "They are my Brides."

"Brides?" Izuku gasped, looking at his Sire in surprise, "You've been married?"

"Not quite," Sire sighed as he continued to page through the book, "Young one, I am quite old. I have been many places and seen many things. But one thing I have never had was a spouse."

"But then how…?" Izuku trailed off as Sire looked at him, raising an eyebrow, "They…Ochako and Tsu are my…Bride doesn't mean 'wife', does it?"

"No," Sire said as Izuku fell back in his chair, his face paling as he stared ahead.

"Sire."

"Yes, young one?"

"Can Influence leave an after effect?"
