I'm really bad at staying focused so I'm going to write this. I write whenever I get bored and I've had a lot of content to go through since I opened myself up to a lot of different fic content. So... Enjoy.

Notice: I do not own Pokemon. (Why do people do this?)

"Damn it," I whispered as I heard a car honk its horn. "Why did we have to move here?" My mom had this great idea. "We can save on rent by going here!" I mocked her as I looked down and out to the nearby street. 'Its daylight as well...' I groaned as I got out of bed. 'Doesn't excuse the location...' I thought as I set my 2ds down. 'Well... She knows best' I thought.

"Good morning!" My mom said as I walked into the Living Room. 'does she have a sound-proof room?' I wondered, seeing a wide grin on her face. "What are you doin?" she asked me.

"Im going to watch TV," I then answered, walking to the stain riddled couch. "We need to go shopping soon" She then sighed, as she opened the fridge to see it empty. "Go get some breakfast, won't ya?" She asked me, gearing up to say what she wanted. 'I'm up with that,' I thought, not yet being told where yet.

"I'm not that hungry so just fetch me a hash-brown from across the street." She motioned towards a window, revealing her fast-food of choice directly where she was pointing. 'Its down to habit...' I sighed as she tossed me her wallet, me taking a twenty out and tossing the wallet back, watching her stumble and drop the item.

"Sure, though you need to cut it on the fast-food" I answered, then I quickly out the door, cutting her words to testify her gluttony off. 'She's been cheery lately..' I thought. 'wonder why...' I walked into the elevator, pressing the button for floor one. 'She's probably been partying' I decided, reflecting to previous events of her coming home, not exactly right in the mind. The elevator door opened, letting someone inside and then resumed the course down.

"Hello," the new person stated as we came to a stop. 'A girl?' I assumed as I heard a high pitched voice. I then took a quick look to the left to see someone around 20-22 years old dressed in black. 'Emo' I thought as the elevator slowed.

"Hi," I answered in haste as it stopped and the doors opened. I, then speed-walking to the exit, went back into my thoughts. 'I have work tomorrow' I recollected my memories from yesterday. 'I think I can skip it...' I thought as I opened the door, breaking into a jog. 'That's a bad idea though... mom needs the money' I thought, sparking some anger with the conflicting opinions. 'Seriously though, mom needs to pick up some slack.' I ranted in my head as I realized what I was thinking. 'I'm 14! Mom knows better than me...' I stopped at the crosswalk and started walking after I looked both ways. 'She even lets me play my games!' I thought as I heard the girl from earlier shout. 'I'm wasting her time when I'm not productive...' I then pushed into my head as I felt a hand on my back.

"Stop!" I got pushed by the girl from earlier, in an attempt to save me. 'What the...' I looked back to the left, terror in my eyes as a Semi-Truck hit and ran over us both. My vision then faded into darkness as shouts clouded the air.

'!' I opened my eyes, 'I'm in a white space?' I looked around until my eyes focused on a blinding light that was going towards me. "That may not be good" I thought out loud as I made out what appeared to be a spear. "Duck" I said as I was impaled by the spear, making my eyes fall back into darkness.

"Huh?" My eyes opened to see a dagger above my chest. "Wait!" I called out, making the dagger go back up. "This is just a misunderstanding..." I tried to explain as the 'being' holding the dagger disposed of my words, and me. 'Damnit' My vision faded into black as the dagger impaled my heart.

"Oww..." I said as opened my eyes for the second time. 'This time there are trees so I think I am safe...' I thought as I finally looked to myself. "What?" my feet are similar to a birds! I put my arm in front of my eyes and... behold! A wing. "Ok... something is up." I said as I tried to walk, which had not worked very well. My face on the ground explained to me.

"AAA!" a shriek had then went through the air, piercing my ears as I looked to its source. 'A Fennekin?' I thought as I recognized the fox like creature about a meter away from me. Then, I tried to move towards it. "Lets how jumping works!" I whispered, seeing myself move forward around a half foot in length. 'Ok then' I thought at I did it two more times, close enough to talk.

"Hello?" I asked it, causing them to look towards me. 'I need more than one explanation' I thought as they opened their mouth to talk.

"Ok... something is messing with my brain!" it announced. 'I can't recognize their gender from their speech... odd' I thought as they began to talk again. "I can't be convinced in any way that there is a Fletchling in front of me!" it announced, allowing me to talk.

"Well! For your information, I have fallen on my face... so I don't think that seeing a Fennekin is much more odd than being a bird." I explained, making it light up in wonder.

"So... you're a Fletchling and I am a Fennekin?" it asked me, curiously? 'This is familiar...' I thought as I talked once again.

"Yep! So... I am assuming we were both humans as well." I answered, leaving them to talk.

"So... what do we do?" they asked as I sat down. 'My legs are tired...'

"Eh... figure out what world we are in," I reflected on the Mystery Dungeon games. "So... who are you?" I asked the fire fox.

"Marian, I'm 22... and I guess that's all we need to know?" they answered.

"Well, I'm Avan, I'm 14 and I'm a guy." I answered as I stood up. " We should probably get moving" I then stated, pointing towards the sky with my wing. 'Its getting dark.'

"Yeah, but I assume we need to be able to move?" it asked as it fell when they tried to walk towards me.

"Huh, what if you copy animals and move with your back left, then your front left then switch and repeat?" I asked, having them use the badly drawn up technique to some success.

"Thanks!" they answered cheerily as they got the hang of it and made it over to me, this then showed me how glaringly inaccurate the pokedex can be as I saw how large they were compared to me.

"So... the Pokedex is mildly wrong..." I told them as I saw them double my height in feet. 'So I'm about 8 IN tall.' I came to a conclusion as they began to talk, once again.

"Shouldn't we of noticed this earlier?" they asked me.

"We were about 1-3 feet away from eachother so our low height could of made it harder to see?" I tried to reason. "Either way, we need to find some semblance of shelter." I then stated, pointing at the darkening sky.

"Yeah, but who are they?" Marian asked me, pointing with their nose to two Pokemon walking towards us.

"A Magnezone and a Piloswine it seems." I stated, seeing two figures atop the Piloswine. "And humans?" I reasoned as they made their way towards us.

"Can you fly?" Marian asked me, seeming worried by the appearance.

"Lets see" I said, jumping and flapping my wings to no avail as I hit the ground. "No" I answered bluntly.

"Well... if I am a starter Pokemon, wouldn't that make me rare?" they asked, making me worry myself. 'That could be a problem if we're noticed' I thought.

"True... well, if we need to run we're screwed." I answered, deciding to stay put as I sat down on the grass.

"Well, you probably can't run, so I'm going to stay here. No man left behind." Marian said as we saw the Piloswine changed course to us. 'Oh no' I then thought as the movement became progressively louder until they stopped about 2 yards in front of us.

"Oi! Lets see what's down there." one of them shouted, grabbing the other human by the hand, and bringing them down to the ground. 'They are going towards us now.' I thought as I was distracted by a newcomer.

"Hello." I greeted the Magnezone as it arrived.

"Hello?" it responded with a robotic voice. "Why are you not flying away?" it asked me as the humans came closer.

"If I could fly, we wouldn't be talking" I answered to the large magnet robot thing. 'Creepy' I thought as I heard its voice.

"Aww! It's a Fennekin..." one of them stared in awe at Marian.

"Hey Avan?" Marian asked me. "Try flying again." They asked to which I obliged.

"I'll try?" I answered, lifting my wings and pushing them down with as much force as possible. 'Huh, im in the dirt...' it didn't work. "Eff you too" I then followed up as the humans focused on me.

"What's wrong with it? Can't bird Pokemon fly?" the extra person asked rudely as the other human went up to me. 'Damn you Marian' I thought as they picked me up.

"Hey! Fire fox, a bit of help?" I asked it as they seemed relieved now that the focus was on me. 'Why are they lifting my wings?' I thought as the human was messing with me.

"Fine..." Marian then rammed into the human who was holding me, making me fall to the ground where Marian was waiting. "Since I'm older, I assume I should take action." they said cockily as I hit the ground.

"How did you do that?" I asked as the humans took a defensive posture.

"Just sped up? I just ran off of an instinct I had." they answered as the trainer ordered their Pokemon.

"Thunderwave." the trainer of the two commanded the Magnezone to attack Marian.

"Wait... we can talk this out..." Marian tried to reason as the Magnezone followed orders and fired. "Fuck" they yelled as they jumped over the attack, only to fall on their tail on the way down. "Sorry Avan" they said as they were immobilized by the Magnezone.

"How?" I questioned as I was walked up to by the trainer.

"Want a starting Pokemon?" they asked the other and on response to a head nod they threw a Pokeball and caught Marian after 3 shakes. "Well...I guess their friend should join them as well..." they sent a Pokeball straight at me with little thought.

"No!" I answered as I hit the ball back with my wing, hitting them on the calf. 'I found some kind of use for these.' I looked at my wing as the human got pretty pissed that I had resisted.

"Master isn't going to enjoy that" the Magnezone thundered as their trainer commanded them.

"Magnezone, use Thu-" a Garchomp popped up with someone in a lab coat in tow, coming out of the ground and knocking out the Magnezone. "You... Piloswine get em!" the trainer ordered their Pokemon to catch the rogue land shark.

"Thanks!" I chirped as I hopped over to the Pokeball that Marian was trapped in and released them from it.

"What the- oh, hello Avan" they greeted me appropriately. 'This is a good opportunity' I thought, looking to the forest

"Hello" I answered as I noticed that they were still paralyzed. 'Damnit' I thought as I instructed them to follow me. "This way?" Marian followed my hopping with a limp as the trainers had finally gotten to talking. 'Although its cool to meet Pokemon... it isn't cool to almost die.' I thought as we disappeared into a bush, similarly to the light which had disappeared as the dark had defeated it for the night. Then Marian chirped up from the other side of the bush. "Oh yeah, I'm a girl," she stated as I sat my head down and fell asleep.

So... I just finished editing and this has turned out well. I'm probably going to update my other fics. But they aren't dead. Anyway, thanks and have a nice day.
