"Gohan Gohan." Chi Chi yelled
"Yeah mom." Gohan shouted back
"The response to your application for U.A. came." Chi Chi shouted
This was what Gohan was waiting for. Though Chi Chi had first objected to him going to U.A. she eventually agreed to him going after him explaining that the world needs a protector and that he can help people it also helped his argument that U.A. is also a great normal school and he can learn a lot from there.
Gohan ran down stairs as fast as possible
"Thank you for letting me apply, mom." Exclaimed Gohan
"Well I don't know if I could stop you from helping people so might as well let you." Chi Chi replied.
"Now let's see what it says." Gohan said
"Wait for me to see." Shouted a unknown voice
"Oh sorry Goten I almost forgot to wait." Gohan said
"Ok now that everyone is here let's open your letter Gohan." Chi Chi said
Gohan proceeded to open the letter to find a small device which he recognized as Capsule Corps hologram tech from having gone over to drop Goten off to hangout with Trunks.
"Hmm seems U.A. uses Capsule Corps' tech." Gohan says
The device began projecting a hologram of a mouse, dog or bear Gohan didn't know but it did remind him of Korin.
"Am I a mouse, dog or bear doesn't matter, I'm the principal." Nezu says
"Hello Son Gohan after reviewing your application we at U.A. have agreed to have you take the entrance exam." Nezu explained
"The entrance exam will take place in a week's time and will be located at the U.A. campus." Nezu said
"This is your starting step for being a hero. We want you to bring your best performance." Stated Nezu as the hologram turned off
"Gohan I'm so proud of you!" Chi Chi said while hugging Gohan
"You'll be the best hero Gohan I know you will!" Goten said while jumping up and down
"I still have to take the entrance exam and then I'll truly be on the way to becoming a hero." Gohan said
"I know you'll do great son you stronger than the #1 Hero of course you'll do great." Chi Chi said
"Yeah you're right mom." Gohan replied
"Well, I should go and see if Bulma would make me a hero suit." Gohan stated
"Ok, but please be back for dinner, you wouldn't want it cold." Chi Chi replied
"Ok mom I'll be back for dinner I'll make sure of it." Gohan said
Gohan walked out of the door and flew towards West City. He made sure to fly high enough so as to stay out of the view of the people on the ground below so he didn't get in trouble for using his quirk without a license even though he didn't have a quirk, but the police don't know that and he won't say that as to stay secret. He landed down as fast as possible in the back area of Capsule Corp to stay out of view. He walked up to the front door of the building and pressed the buzzer.
"State your name and reason for being here." The voice from the buzzer stated
"My name is Son Gohan and I'm here to speak to Bulma."
Almost immediately a hologram of Bulma came up.
"Gohan it's been so long I hardly get to see you I'm upstairs just come in I'll meet you up there." Bulma exclaimed
Gohan then opened the door and headed upstairs walking past the gravity chamber where he was hearing Vegeta training. He continued walking until he found Bulma.
"Hey Bulma it's been awhile I'm sorry for not coming with Goten to visit." Gohan said
He hadn't seen Bulma in about a year or two due to Goten taking nimbus to Bulma's after learning he could ride it. Chi Chi had allowed it due to it no longer taking away from Gohan's studies.
"It's no problem Gohan, you've grown a lot since our last visit, what brings you here anyway." Bulma says
"Well I applied to U.A. to become a hero and I kinda need a costume so I was hoping you would be able to build it." Gohan explained
"I'm not surprised you decided to go to U.A. you are Goku's son after all. I'm glad you're taking up his mantle of protecting the planet." Bulma said
"Yeah though being a hero will be different than what we've done I'll be able to help people way more often and it makes me happy knowing I'm most likely making dad proud." Gohan said
"I know your making Goku proud Gohan he's always proud of you. Anyways I can make you a costume I don't trust any other costume company to make a outfit that can handle your strength. I'll start making it now I don't have anything to do at the moment. I was getting a bit bored so this will be fun. I'll be back in a hour or so maybe go talk to Trunks or maybe see if you can get Vegeta out of the chamber for a while he's been at it for hours. I want to see him more than once a week.
"Ok I'll go see if I can." Gohan said
Gohan then walked towards the chamber and knocked on the door.
"Who the hell is it." Vegeta shouted
"Hey Vegeta it's just me." Gohan said while opening the door
"Oh it's you, are you finally getting off of your ass and training you've lost strength I can tell you've let the peace pacify you you can never tell when a threat will come you should always be ready." Vegeta said
"No I came to see how you were and to get you out of the chamber for a bit, but I might actually start training with you since I'm going to U.A." Gohan said
"So you're gonna be a hero tch you'd be better of training than running around with those spandex wearing weaklings." Vegeta said
"Yes, I'm becoming a hero but that's besides the point I think you should take a break do you wanna get some food." Gohan said
"Fine I was planning on taking a break anyway Bulma's been badgering me on staying in to long and coming out disgusting and sweaty and stinking up the place." Vegeta explained
"Ok cool I'll tell Bulma we are getting some food." Gohan said
Then Vegeta and Gohan went on there way to get some food. While on there way there they spotted a certain familiar face.
"Hey Gohan it's been a long time how have you been." Shouted Krillin who was patrolling the streets because he had become a police officer during the 7 years Peace.
"I'm good Krillin how have you been has anything interesting happen while on patrol?" Gohan asked
"Well about a couple months ago we got called out for a fight against this slime guy, a kid got caught up and was being controlled by the villain a kid who was apparently quirkless rushed at the villain and distracted it pretty well then All Might came to save the day." Krillin explained
"Oh that's interesting good on that kid for being brave enough to go against a villain like that." Gohan said
"Well anyways Vegeta and I were planning on eating and also I applied and have been allowed to take the entrance exam for U.A." Gohan said
"Oh that's great Gohan I'm surprised you got Chi Chi to allow it though." Krillin said
"It took awhile but I was able to convince her she's very stubborn." Gohan said while chuckling a little
"Well anyways I hope to see you again soon." Gohan said
"I hope so too and good luck on the exam." Krillin said
Then Gohan and Vegeta continued on their way to the restaurant. Vegeta was a bit pissed on having to wait on the food but stopped caring when it came. After they ate they went back to Capsule Corp to see if Bulma was done.
"Hey Bulma we're back." Shouted Gohan
"Ok the suits done come on up and you can try it on." Bulma said
Gohan then went upstairs to see the suit only to see a small watch.
"Um what am I supposed to do with this?" Gohan asked
"Just press the button on the side and you'll see." Bulma said
Gohan pressed the button and was enveloped in a glowing white light then suddenly the light disappeared showing Gohan in a costume. The costume consisted of a helmet, red cape, green gi with a black bodysuit worn underneath, as well as white gloves.
"Woah Bulma this is amazing thank you so much!" Gohan shouted
"It's no problem Gohan, take it as a gift for saving the world if you need anything else just tell me ok." Bulma replied
"Well I should be on my way mom wants me home for dinner." Gohan said
"Ok, but please come back soon." Bulma replied
"I will I promise." Gohan said
Gohan then flew back to Mount Paozu to have dinner and show his family his costume Goten and Chi Chi loved it. All he had to do is wait, study and train for the entrance exam.
