The sword came down for the last time, and Tommy hit respawn quickly. He woke in a strange bed, in a circular base. He looked around, and checked his inventory. He had nothing, except a communicator like on the other server, so he got up to explore the base. He quickly found a man in a red sweater outside building a new window into the base he now knew was a hobbit hole. The man noticed him quickly, and flew down. 'Who are you and why were you in my base?' The man demanded, and Tommy swallowed. 'My name is TommyInnit. I woke up here. I don't know where the fuck I am.' The teen replied, and the man's face softened. 'I'm Grian. I was just working on my base, but I have to take you to X.' Grian explained, and beckoned for him to follow. Grian pointed to a portal atop a jungle tree. After five minutes of Tommy trying to climb the tree and falling, they were on a nether highway. Grian led him to a grass island with spots of mycelium. Grian pulled out his communicator and sent a message, causing Tommy's to ding. Grian X, please come to the town hall, I have a problem. Not too long after this, Tommy got into an argument with the man in red about why he didn't swear. 'Tommy, Xisuma will be here soon, can you just shut the fuck up!' Grian screamed at him, just as a man in a helmet flew in. Grian looked terrified, and the man looked between him and Grian before laughing. 'Yknow, G, Ive never heard you swear. Also, who's this?' The man Grian said was Xisuma asked. 'This is the issue messaged you about. He woke up in my base, and I don't know how he got here.' X looked confused, and nodded. 'Well, follow me guys, I need to get something from my base to deal with this.' Grian and Tommy followed him. On the way there, Grian heard the child mumble to himself about someone named Tubbo and it clicked. 'X, stop. I know who he is and how we get him back to his home.' Tommy looked at him confused so he explained. 'I go to an event sometimes, it's the Halloween special this time. I've met people from other servers there, including a child named Tubbo. You just mumbled his name. You come from the Dream SMP.' Grian said, Tommy's eyes getting wider with each word. Xisuma was standing there, watching the scene play out. 'So, you just need to wait with us for a month and I can get you back to your friends.' Grian told him, and Tommy smiled so big it hurt. 'Grian, why don't you show him around and introduce him to the other hermits?' X asked, and Grian nodded. The man in the helmet dropped a pair of wings, and Grian gestured for him to put them on. When he put them on, Xisuma flew off, leaving him and Grian. Grian pulled out his communicator. Grian Hermits, please come to the shopping district, I have something to show you. After Grian sent this, he sat down on a block nearby. 'Wait, I know you. You killed Dream that one time.' Tommy said, and Grian nodded. The man in red smiled down at him, and someone else approached. A woman with blonde hair. 'Grian, what did you want?' She asked, and her eyes snapped to Tommy when he laughed. 'Wait, I know you. How are you here?' She asked him, and Grian jumped into the conversation. 'He woke up in my base somehow, I'm taking him back to his friends in MCC, okay False?' He asked, and she nodded. More people had gathered by then, and Grian repeated the explanation as to why Tommy was there to everyone. Tommy started to stand up, and tripped.
'Ow, what the fuck!?' He yelled, and everyone was staring at him. A voice raised over the silence. 'I reckon we're gonna get on just fine.' Everyone started laughing, and let the man through. 'Ignore them, I'm Etho. Who are you?' Etho asked. 'My name is Tommy.' The teen answered. 'Do you wanna tell us more of your story?' Was the next question Etho asked. 'Yeah, I have a family , there's Wilbur, Tubbo, Fundy, Niki, and Phil. We were in the middle of rebelling. The man we were opposing sent someone to kill us all.' Ethos face was one of shock. 'A rebellion huh?' He could see Grian in his peripheral vision grinning. 'Grian, can I help you show the child around?' Etho asked, and Grian nodded. Everyone in the crowd started to disperse. Etho and Grian led him down to a secret base. 'This is the mycelium resistance HQ.' Etho explained, and Tommy nodded. 'Why the fuck is it so big?' He asked, and Etho shrugged. 'Because Grian built it and that man is a fucking perfectionist.' Grian looked shocked when Etho swore. 'Grian, he came from the Dream SMP. Everyone swears there. I'm making him feel at home.'
He explained, because he noticed how Tommy relaxed if someone swore, almost like he wasn't used to people not swearing. Etho gestured for him to sit in the new chair Grian had built. Grian was writing on a sign. It read 'TommyInnit, temporary member of the Resistance. The next few weeks went fairly quick, Tommy managing to get almost everyone to swear. He got Xisuma to swear after pushing him off a building, Etho swore freely, Grian only swore once and he didn't push Grian any further, False swore when he beat her at PvP, and the rest were easier. He hadn't managed to get Doc, Scar, Keralis or Stress to swear. Today was the day of MCC, and he followed False, Ren, and Grian through the portal wearing a sheet ghost Halloween costume.
He saw Fundy, Wilbur and Quackity thrusting at people, and ran over to a group of people. Amongst them, he saw Quig and three others he didn't recognise. In front of a man in green, stood Tubbo in a bee costume. Tubbo recognised him immediately, but the man in green held him back. 'Who the fuck are you?' Tommy yelled at the man in green, who was takes aback by Tommy swearing. 'I'm Joel. How do you know Tubbo?' Joel asked, and Tubbo just stood there. 'I'm his brother, Tommy.' Joel nodded when this was said and bent down to Tubbo. 'Do you want to go with Tommy, Tubbo? We can still see each other again, or do you want to stay with me and Lizzie and visit Tommy instead?' Tubbo looked thoughtful. 'I'd rather stay with you and Lizzie, I don't like to be around when my friends are at war.' Joel nodded, and lightly pushed Tubbo. 'Go enjoy your day Tubbo, I'll find you at the end.' Tommy was pissed, and when he thought they were out of the view of Tubbo's 'new' family, slapped him across the face. Just as he landed the hit, Scott turned the corner, and saw the boy they'd all but adopted crying because his best friend slapped him. Scott picked up Tubbo, and walked him to his team. 'Shelby, take care of Tubbo this event please. Niki, go tell Wilbur that Tommy slapped Tubbo and that if he wants Tommy to stay in any events from now, he has to make sure Tommy stays away from Tubbo, okay?' Scott said, and Niki and Shelby nodded. Niki walked off to tell Wilbur, and Shelby kept Tubbo close to her. In the end, Dream's team won the event and life went back to normal, except that Tubbo went with Joel back to Xlife, and a portal was opened between X-life and the Dream SMP, and one between HermitCraft and the Dream SMP.
