" Honestly, Japan has some nerve dragging me into their weird issues with this Azur Lane thing." And there Ziden sat, on the roof of a building as he was gazing at his servants working on building and upgrading the old Naval base that used to be on this Island before that special base was made farther down to the south of the Isle.

" Can you blame them?" Ziden turned to see Kaga coming up next to him with a soft sigh. " Apparently the Eagle Union man and his crew have been doing massively suspicious things and the Sakura wants someone they trust to make a new Azur Lane."

" Right, send the guy with no real Naval experience to lead a base, that will go well." Ziden said with a sigh while looking at the folder. " But this folder here, big job it has for me. Investigate what Eagle is doing and find any stray ships to bring here. Seems simple enough, but what do they mean stray?"

" It seems that during some unknown time, a bunch of shipgirls went missing while another bunch ran away and are hiding out in various countries to avoid being sent back to base. While we are excommunicated from the Sakura, the Emperor wants you to gather and find any and all stray ships and bring them here." Kaga explained while sighing.

" Must be awkward, taking orders from the people who wanted ya dead." Ziden said while she shrugged.

" We did what we believed was right, and lost it. We might as well try to make some amends. And Investigate the old Azur lane at the same time." Kaga said while watching various trucks pull into the shipyard. " They work fast."

" Indeed, within 3 hours, the base will be fully built and functional, for now, i'm gonna head to the UK, heard some ships were sensed there, might as well see exactly what is happening." Ziden said while softly cracking his hands and looking out to see.

" I will hold down things here. Keep in touch if things get ugly, I will come as swiftly as the winds of a maelstrom." And with a bow she was quick to oversee the base construction, while Ziden sighed. Time for another adventure, heard the ones he was after were regal and maid types, this ought to be fun.

Elsewhere at the time...

In a dark, dimly lit room, several cells dotted along the wall as screams could be heard through the room, a figure remained in a cell, not wanting to look at the source of the yells, her large hat and flowing white dress was marred by the mud and grime of the area.

" Procedure is going as planned, performing first artificial rigging system test now." The heavy groan of steel could be heard in the room as the unknown person struggled to catch their breath. " Removal of the rigging of Subject 437 is a success, though it seems they lost the ability to exist." One of the scientists pointed to the table that had glowing blue cubes on the table, the woman in the dress grimacing at the commander type in the room.

A white naval uniform with the US flag emblazoned on it, clean white gloves and black hair under that cap of his, but the most notable was the Yellow Gem that was in his forehead. " Perfect, gather up the shipgirls that had the audacity to escape this place. We shall take their riggings." And soon, he grabbed a wisdom cube in his hand and soon slammed it into the chest of their test subject, watching the blue lights course through her body as she screamed.

" With this, we humans will take the fight to the Sirens, no more will we place our faith on their defeat in weapons that feign being women, but in true human hands. Commander Thunderbolt, with this, we will take our future back." The Scientist smiled at this while seeing the rigging on the woman slowly began to move more naturally and she seemed less in pain.

" So it seems, let us begin, send a fleet out to the Royal Navy, make sure to bring those AI controlled machines if they even dare to stop your approach." Thunderbolt stares down at the Scientist.

" Yes Sir, right away." The Scientist runs off as the Commander stood there, eyes closed as he listened to the whispers of the gem in his mind, all while the woman in the cell, hoped that her allies would be safe.
