I noticed how Davaid had changed after he heard something at the door. Trying to remember what I could hear from his conversation with the other human, somethhing called a "journalist" was coming some time later, and judging from his reaction, humans didn't really like journalist. I heard the door open and close, then Davaid came to sit with me on the bed, and two humans came in. One was holding a weird device on his shoulder. The other was carrying some other equipment, "let's get this over with."

Davaid took a seat next to Houndoom, "your hair's a mess" commented the journalist, "we can't do your interview with you looking like you just woke up!" The lady complained, "just because you're Malva of the Elite Four doesn't really make me want to listen," said Davaid as he turned his focus back to Ruby.

"Stupid brat," grumbled Malva as Davaid started scratching the back of my head. At first I wanted to set her on fire for insulting my trainer, but the nice feeling of Davaid's hand scratching the right spot distracted me. I leaned my head further into his palm, "now, I want you to give me the full scoop on how you found it," said the reporter, gesturing to me, "can you refer to Ruby by her name?" I watched the lady grind her teeth before repeating the question, but this time while referring to me by name.

"I was just starting my journey and I bumped into her," I smiled, remembering the. Moment vividly, "I'm not going to lie, I thought I was dead," I said before turning my attention back to Ruby who had laid her head on my lap, and had just fallen asleep. I so badly wanted to hug her, she looked so damn cute, but I had a feeling Malva would've yelled at me, which more than likely would have woken her up.

One thing that took me way too long to notice was that Ruby wasn't in a deep slumber, perhaps she felt something I didn't.

Mmalva pulled out her notebook before snapping her fingers, "hey, can you repeat your answer for the camera, with just as much passion as you did earlier," said the journalist. While Davaid had repeated his earlier answer, he said it in a monotone voice, soon after the cracking of knuckles could be heard. She gestured towards him once more, "now tell me, what would a trainer with your talents want to do now?"

I couldn't lie, I didn't even know how to respond to her question, "a trainer of your skill" what does that even imply? I haven't even gotten into a Pokemon battle yet, and all I did was help a pokemon out. I closed my eyes and thought long and hard. Seeing the world was obviously a must for me, and suddenly a thought came into mind. I knew this would have sounded pretty cheesy,"well, first off, I'm not even a Pokemon Trainer, let alone somebody with skill when it come to that stuff. Second is I want to explore the world, maybe help anyone who just needs a hand. Most importantly I want to be able to visit a place years from now, and be recognized. I want my name to be set in stone."

While I pretended to sleep, I could hear Davaid's speech about his "ambitions" if you call them that. Seeing the world sounded like a nice dream I once had when I was just a baby Houndour, but being remembered was a thing I wouldn't have guessed about him. How would he be remembered as? Somebody that caused a lot of pain and misery upon the world, or as a hero? Time would only tell. What I knew was I was going to remember him as somebody who potentially saved my life and somebody I can depend on.

Not long after the journalist packed up their equipment before heading out, and it was once more just me and Davaid once more. Just outside the door I could hear the same journalist talking to somebody, "I want him eliminated." I grew tense after hearing those words.

The hotel room's phone started ringing as I reached out to pet Ruby. She seemed pretty tensed up after the reporter had left for some odd reason, I quickly grabbed the phone and tried my best to comfort Ruby, "I want you to bring your Hounndoom down to get checked up on."

I'm not gonna lie, I haven't had this much fun writing in a really long time. Most of the time I felt obligated to write because people enjoyed what I wrote. Now I found a nice middle ground, where some people like it, and I love writing it. I would've kept working on this story even if nobody liked it(as said earlier).

And I know this is a lot of. Updates in a short period of time, but I'm just really invested into making this story.
