Davaid slowly made his way down the stairs with Ruby in his arms. He stumbled several times due to the Houndoom's weight, but he kept going. Eventually on the 3rd floor from the lobby, he opted for the elevator so he wouldn't trip, and potentially make his friend's foot worst.
"It looks like Ruby's leg has healed faster than I thought it would. She can walk without any troubles, but for the time being do not let her get into any battles, and no running," said Nurse Joy while holding her sympnotious. Davaid nodded before picking up Ruby, and setting her on the ground, "have a nice day!" He waved.
I was excited, while I couldn't run or battle, both of which weren't too much of a bother, I could at least walk. It was nice to finally be moving around after being confined to the hotel room, but that would also mean Davaid and I would begin traveling. That gave me the question, would I be kept in a pokeball while we travelled? I barked at Davaid to get his attention, and gestured to the pokeball.
I looked down to face Ruby, she was eying the pokeball for some reason. However, I did eventually find out what she was asking. I grabbed the Premiere Ball before shaking my head "I'm not going to keep ya locked up in this thing everyday, I'd only make you go in this thing if it's required for public transport," I explained before reattaching it to my belt. She voiced her approval of that as we headed over to the video phone booths.
Davaid picked up the phone and punched in a number, and waited for the receiver to pick up. After a couple seconds of ringing, his mother picked up the phone, "aloha mom! "Aloha Davaid, how is your adventure going?" Asked his mother, "I've made it to Vanville and got stuck for a while," he answered before a thought finally flickered in his mind, "oh yeah mom, where's Snowy?" His mom took a second to turn around, "she disappeared after you headed out on your journey dear, she'll be back sometime later."
I heard Davaid talk to his mother about this "Snowy" I assumed that was his family's pet, but didn't think too much about it. After a couple of minutes of the two chatting, he hung up, "well girl, we should get started on our way to Lumiose, it's not too long of a walk" when I heard that I tensed up once more. That would mean we'd be out in the open, giving any leeway for whoever Malva was talking to, to come after my trainer.
I noticed how Ruby had once again begin to tense up, she's been doing that ever since Malva and her cameraman left our hotel room. Maybe she was just nervous about being outside of the Pokemon Center for the first time in days.
Everyone turned their heads to a snow white Ninetales as it walked through Santalune City, she stopped and stared at all the buildings, it was way larger than the last few towns she had been in. The vulpine's ears were scanning every single sound, she took a sniff at the ground, before catching a trail that led into a building. She sat and watch as somebody exited with a Houndoom. The Ninetales smiled before trailing the two out of the city.
As soon as we made it a mile outside of the town, I felt a strange presence was watching over use, I turned my head to the bushes, and saw a flash of bright red swiftly move into us both. Davaid stopped and looked at he man. What he did next made my trainer tense up as this stranger threw out a Pokeball. I crouched down and got ready to attack whatever was coming out of it.
I stared at this weird stranger in red. At first I thought he was a weird salesman, before he pulled a Pokeball before throwing it, and out came a fierce looking Mightyena. I took a step back, "use Crunch on the boy!" Ruby launched a flamethrower at the Bite Pokemon, who evaded it with noticeable ease. I felt my life flash before my eys as it got closer and closer. Suddenly, the Mightyena was batted away with a Moonblast.
Ninteales watched as a man in red attacked the boy she had been trailing for hours. The Houndoom that had been following him had fired at the Mightyena, only to miss, and the foe was getting closer to Davaid. She felt an unyielding rage build up inside of her, before rushing in, and launching an attack at the trainer's Mightyena.
Davaid and I have just been saved by an unseen figure as it jumped in front of us, baring its teeth and growling. The mightyena was knocked cold on the ground. From what I could tell, it was a Ninetales but it looked completely different, it was completely snow white, and it looked as if it was getting ready to use an Ice Beam. I turned to Davaid, who's eeyes were wider than when he bumped into me for the first time.
I stared dead at this man, his Pokemon laid on the ground as I charged up an ice beam. It didn't matter to me if I got in trouble for harming this human he was going to pay with his life if he didn't get out of my sight. Thankfully for him, he recalled his Mightyena before running into the forest. I turned around to face Davaid, "Snowy! What on earth are you doing here?" He immediately ran up to hug and thank me for saving his life. I looked over to his Houndoom that started staring at me.
That was a lot long than I anticipated, but it was worth it. Now for a review, BadStories, thanks for your reviews, and I havve't joined any critque circles. I might join one in the future if I can't seem to get any better on my own.
