I had been staring at Snowy the whole time since I've met her, it had taken me back by how her demeanor had changed so quickly, she looked entirely different from the growling demon from earlier, she looked like Hell itself. Now she looked like the complete opposite, peacefully smiling as she walked with me and Davaid. I looked up ahead and I could see the gates of a massive city coming into view.

"When we get into Lumiose I'm going to buy you two the biggest steak I can!" I said, picking up the pace. Ruby bbarked her approval of that idea, "thank you Davaid," I jumped when I heard that voice, I looked down at Snowy, "what? You should be used to hearing me speak to you by now," said the ninetales. It never did sink into my noggin that most Ninetales did indeed have telepathy, "Snowy you don't need to thank me, neither of you do, you two saved my back there."

We all made it through the gates and were completely shocked at just how big it was. It was rare to see cities as big as this one in Aloha, in fact, none of the cities in Aloha were as big as Lumiose. Davaid had picked up a map of the city and sat on a bench, "looks like the nearest restaurant is on the other side of the town," said Davaid. All three of us sighed, more walking. I might as well try and get to know the Houndoom while we walked.

Davaid turned his head to see a kid with a Pikachu and another kid with huge glasses battling out in a park, he quickly turned it back to the map, trying to make sure he and his two pokemon didn't get lost in Lumiose. The group turned down to the right onto one of the city's five main roads.

"So, I heard your name was Ruby, correct?" Asked Snowy, "and you're Snowy," Ruby turned back to the sidewalk, "so, how did you meet Daavaid?" The houndoom began to recite the whole story, "and I guess we just decided to travel together, "how'd you meet him? "

"I'm technically ot even his Pokemon, I'm his mother's partner from back when she did something called the Island Challenge. Eventually he was just born, and then we became friends." I explained, "and… it looks like we're here!" Said Davaid before heading inside to get the steak, "I don't feel like I deserve this," said Ruby, "what do you mean?"

"I'm getting something because you saved him, allI did was shoot a Flamethrower."

"Don't you dare talk like that! It delayed the mightyena long enough, if you hadn't, then we would still be on that route, digging a gravve, and mourning. Do not ever say you never did anything to help out."

Before I could say anything more, Davaid came out with two take out boxes, "I'm back guys!" He laid the boxes out in front of us, and opened the boxes for us. I couldn't describe just how good this food tasted. I began taking my time to enjoy the meal, and it appeared that Snowy had fairly similar thoughts, but then she stared up at our trainer. I took a look at Snowy, she was right, we could've experienced something far worst if that Mightyena was any closer to Davaid.

I looked at Davaid to see if he got himself anything, and he was only holding a simple sandwich, "you should've treated yourself to something from there you know," I scolded, I stopped eating and stared him in the eyes, "I know, I know girl, but this sandwich was in my bag ever since I left home. Can't let it go to waste can I?" He took another bite out of the sandwich.

I looked up, "also there seems to be somebody who really likes Meowth," I said before pointing towards a hot air balloon. It greatly resembled the kantonian version, but it was still in the shape of a Meowth's head. A thunderbolt seemed to hit it, and it exploded shortly afterwards. Both Snowy and Ruby turned back to their meals, I just stared as I watched three figures screaming, "we're blasting off again!"
