The sunlight creeped its way through the blinds, Ruby groaned and covered her eyes with one of her paws, then went back to sleep. Luckily for Davaid, the sunlight shined directly on his eyelids, making him wake up. Davaid began to stretch after waking up, he sleepily looked down and only saw Ruby sleeping by his side, he patted her on the head, and got off of the bet. Snowy had been sleeping on the other bed the whole night, "hey Snowy," whispered the tteenager, taking a seat next to his friend.

My eyes slowly began to open after I heard my name being called, "I know something's wrong with ya you've always slept by me," said Davaid, he reached down and started rubbing my head, "I just wanted to let you and Ruby be, nothing is wrong," I told him, leaning into his hand, "I don't think that's the whole truth..." he said, adjusting my head with his hands, and began to stare deep into my eyes, "you think I might forget about you entirely right girl?" He said before pulling me towards him.

I pulled Snowy in for a hug, ""I won't ever leave you just because I found somebody else to hang out with. I want to share this journey with the two of you," Snowy nested her head onto my shoulder as she sighed, "in fact, I'm glad you're here. I know I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you," I patted the back of her head. After what she has done for me and for watching our backs while on the streets, she deserved for more than just a few pats and a steak.

The two stayed like this until Ruby had drowsily gotten up, "hey Snowy, watch this," said Davvaid with a devious smile. He tiptoed around the bed, so he was behind the sleepy Houndoom, and brought his full weight onto the bed. Ruby jumped up and off the bed, before peeking over the bed with an annoyed expression, "good mornin' Ruby," the young man walked over to Ruby before rubbing her head. Snowy began to start snickering at her friend's abrupt awakening.

I playfully nipped and Davaid's finger, before growling at him like I was about to attack. My dopey expression gave away that I was gonna do the exact opposite, so I jumped on him with enough for to push him onto the bed, and began tickling him. Snowy eventually jumped onto the bed and began tickling David, "oh sweet Arceus not you too!" Sreamed our trainer while he was gasping for air.

After we had our fun we let off of the wheezing mess that was Davaid, "please don't do that again," said Davaid before taking another deep breath, "I don't think I could take that sort of punishment from you guys," Ruby began caressing his face with her tongue, "sorry for jumping in Davaid, the opportunity was far too great to pass up on," I said, licking his face. Davaid was still recovering from mine and Ruby's vicious onslaught of tickling.

I wrapped a few my tails around him to make a make-shift blanket after he had finally recovered, "remind me to not get on your bad side again Ruby!" said Davaid. I wrapped my other tails, and pulled Ruby into the "blanket" as well. Davaid began rub my ears, and petted Ruby just behind her horns as she didn't have ears. It was like we were in our own little world, where it felt like nothing could hurt us, for what felt like hours.

I know this is a lot shorter than usual, but I felt like a slower paced chapter would be a nice break from the all of quicker paced chapters.
