Davaid sat at the video phone, waiting for the other end to pick up, "hello?" Said the voice on the other side, "hey mom!" Greeted Davaid as he used his free hand to wave at his mother, "I found somebody mom…" he said, before picking up Snowy, and showing her to the camera. The Ninetales smiled at the sight of her trainer, "so that's where you were girl! Have you been keeping Daniel safe?" She asked. Snowy barked, before jumping off of Davaid's lap.

"If you want I can send you Snowy's Pokeball to you," said mom, "I guess it's better to have it then not to have it," Mom eventually reached out to the side, and placed something into the item transport of our home P.C. Snowy's Pokeball, a Cherish Ball started to materialise, I picked it up, and fixed it to my belt, "I've also seen how you've been on the news young man," she said efore putting her hands on her hips, "so I suppose you know who else I wanted to tell you about?"

Davaid reached down and put me on his lap, "there's the Houndoom I've heard so much about!'' Said my trainer's mother. I wagged my tail and barked to greet her. Davaid's Mother smiled, "Davaid, you do understand how big of an accomplishment it is to not only have a Ninetales, but a Houndoom as well right?" I looked up at Davaid to see his confused, but slightly annoyed expression.

"I don't really see the big deal, Mom. You trained Snowy yourself, all I really did was help Ruby out," I said while scratching the back of my head. I quickly moved the hand back over Ruby, who had already fallen back to sleep on my lap, "it is an accomplishment to get Ruby to trust you with her life. The fact that she's sleeping in your arms is already proof of that," said Mom. I never thought of it as that, but it was something I could at least smile at. After we did some small talk, we said our farewells, and I hung up.

After we had stepped out of the Pokemon Center, both I and Davaid instinctively took a deep breath. I coughed at the smell of city air, and he cringed a little. My head snapped when I heard somebody yelling in a nearby alleyway, so I ran off to investigate, "whoa Snowy wait for me! I already got to carry Ruby!" Called Davaid as he began to pick up speed.

I peeked into an alley to see the person who attacked Davaid, or at least somebody dressed very similarly to him kicking something, before dropping a Pokeball, and leaving. Not even Ruby could sleep through the sounds of a Pokemon Yelping while being kicked repeatedly. We all collectively looked at eachother and back into the alley.

After the man left, Davaid had put me on the ground, and went to investigate the "thing" that had repeatedly been kicked. Snowy and I peeked around the corner of the boxes that blocked out views, what laid on the ground was the very Mightyena that had been ordered to attack Davaid yesterday. Both me and Snowy got ready, just-in-case it had tried anything.

The Mightyena stared at me with wide eyes, he looked pretty beat up, being covered with bruises that were the shape of a baseball bat? What kind of scummy piece of shit would beat his pokemon for losing a battle? I reached my hands out to try and pick him up, but was met with nothing except growling, "Ninetales!" Barked Snowy as she charged up a Moonblast.

I raised my hand to call her off, then turned my focus back onto Mightyena, "sorry if this hurts," I quickly scooped up the injured pokemon, and ran back to the Pokemon Center as fast as I could. It did not matter to me if this Mightyena was once a foe, he didn't deserve to get beaten into a pulp for losing one battle.

I'm just going to say it right now, that I don't feel like making Mightyena a memer of Davaid's team for various reasons. If somebody manages to convince me otherwise, then I'm down to though.

Anyways, thank you for reading, and I'll see you later.
