Davaid sighed after leaving the Mightyena inside the Pokemon Center, he almost wanted to take him along with him on his adventure, but the Mightyena probably wouldn't have wanted to move on so quickly. It was abandoned and beaten by his trainer, so he figured it was best for the Pokemon to be left in the Center.

I stepped outside the Pokemon Center and took another deep breath, ""I swear I'm never going to be that kind of trainer," i promised to myself. I knelt down and picked up Snowy. All three of us were completely silent as we walked down the street, my eyes widened at the sight of an art store, and I took the opportunity to lighten up the mood.

"Hey guys, I just got an idea, can you two wait outside for me?" I nodded at his request. Snowy on the other paw had fallen asleep in his arms. while I hated to admit it, but I absolutely loved being in my trainer's arms. I could only imagine that Snowy loved it as well, so I was more than happy to let the Ninetales to be carried by Davaid.

I figured Snowy probably wasn't going to wake up, so I took out her Cherish Ball, then took a look at the sign on the doorframe, "if you bring a Pokemon inside, it must be in your arms, or in a shopping cart at all times," I guess I didn't need to put her inside the ball, heck, I could bring both Snowy and Ruby if I had the upper body strength to carry two fully grown Pokemon.

I felt myself being laid on something far warmer than Davaid's arms, I began to whine and protest, "Davaid! I was just getting comfortable!" I complained while resting my head on Ruby's shoulder. He started chucking a bit, "well alright, I'll bring you two inside, but you're gonna have to sit in a cart," he went inside and eventually came out with the grocery cart.

After we were both placed inside, we were carted inside of the store. It was full of weird scents, I looked over to Snowy who had been sleeping, using her tail as a blanket, and my back as a pillow. I gladly accepted the cuddle from her, and looked up at Davaid. In his arms were a couple of paint brushes and a few bottles of a weird liquid.

I looked down at Snowy and Ruby, they were adorable, "hey Ruby," I said quietly, reaching down to pet her. I was almost about to slap myself for having the thought of leaving her in that bear trap, saving this one Houndoom made my life the best choices in my life. I scratched her chin, which made her relax into my hand.

After I had paid for the the paint and brushes, and put them in my backpack. I shrugged, and decided to lift up both Snowy and Ruby into my arms. Surprisingly, it wasn't as hard, but I couldn't do it for long. I walked out to a nearby picnic table, and laid them both on top. I took out one of their Pokeballs, the paint and the brushes I got to work on them.

Snowy's Cherish Ball was very easy to design, painting a large snowflake on the front with a very subtle "S" for Snowy, on the top. With a Ninetales' tails that wrapped around the bottom. I took out an old cup, and gently propped it up to let it dry a bit.

I grabbed Ruby's Premiere Bal and started painting on it as well. I made a fire symbol with a subtle "R" on the front, with a Houndoom's horns on the top, and a pair of Houndoom's class on the bottom. I smiled at my handy work, and set it up to dry as well, then scooted over to play with Snowy and Ruby. The only thing similar that I left on the pokeballs.

Davaid eventually grabbed our Pokeballs and showed them to us, how do you guys like them?" I stared at my "new" Pokeball, it wasn't anything too over the top like a diamond covered Cherish ball, and it was niceI Wagged my tales and barked, getting on my hind legs to thank him with a lick on the face, Ruby also reacted in a similar fashion.

I just could not explain how I felt about the pokeball held out in front of me, it wasn't overly girly like or flashy. I know Davaid put time into it, and that alone made me love it even more. I jumped up and began licking Davaid's cheek, I swear Davaid's smile couldn't have gotten bigger if it tried.

This chapter was a lot longer than I thought it would be, but I think it's worth it. I think next chaper I should kick up the pace. Thanks for reading!
