I narrowly avoided my Pokemon's attacks before, just making it behind the tree. What the hell can I do? I reached for their Pokeballs on my belt, they were gone, "good work Malamar," said a voice that just screamed trouble. I looked behind me and saw a malamar blocking off the path, "Malamar," I peaked my head around the tree, standing behind Snowy and Ruby was a lady wearing a white suit, she was holding my missing Pokeballs.

Simply recalling my pokemon was not an option, I could try fighting back, but on top of me not wanting to physically hurt either Snowy or Ruby. I knew for a fact that Snowy alone was a demon to face in a fight, and a Houndoom was no joke when it's angry. I was as good as dead if I didn't play this smart. The Malamar's trainer smirked, "looks like you're done for. Don't worry, when we are done with you, your Pokemon will be invited into Team Flare!"

Ruby glared at me and charged up another flamethrower, I quickly took out a pocket knife, a rope, a compass, and a bottle. I then ditched my backpack and ran deep into the forest; it was time to play Pikachu and Meowth, but I was the Pikachu this time around. I ran, turning right and left, making my trail harder to follow for any other humans to track me.

While running, I found a river, it was running to fast to hop in and hide my scent. I did know that it was safe to drink, so I quickly filled my bottle. In the distance I could hear Snowy and Ruby's barking, they were a fair distance away, which meant I could try and retrieve my backpack, and set up a trap. A trap would've been my only way out of this mess, but there was already a problem, and it was that I didn't know how to trap.

After I had finally made it my backpack, I sighed in relief, the contents of it were mostly untouched, apart from what I had already grabbed earlier. I quickly put everything except the rope and the knife away, it was already getting late, and I needed to hide, "Nine!" I turned around and jumped, Snowy was standing alone, I got up, and we stared at each other for a solid minute.

I reached out to try and pet her, Snowy quickly started growling, and I was quickly brought back into reality. Ruby jumped out then quickly shot a Flamethrower, which nicked my arm, and I was quickly pinned down by Snowy. Only then had I realised just how scary she actually was, a demon was an understatement, she looked like she could put fear into Arceus himself. I quickly closed my eyes, and kicked until I got her off of me. I jumped to my feet, and ran for my life,

I turned back, and smiled, Snowy wasn't hurt too badly, and that Malamar was charging at me as well. I rounded the corner, acting like I actually had a plan, "Malamar," it was grinning like a serial killer would look at his victims. It stepped closer thinking I wasn't a threat. I needed to capitalise on that if I was getting out of this alive.

As soon as its face peaked around the tree I was behind, I plunged the pocket knife into Malamar's body. I stabbed it as much as I could, hoping whatever I hit was vital. I stopped, covered in the Malamar's blood, and it fell to the ground before releasing a long exhale; it was dead. Ruby who was mere feet away from me had stopped, she shook herself as she quickly regained control of herself.

The adrenaline rush finally wore out, I cringed as I looked down at my arm, and it only made the pain worst. I looked down, and it was completely burnt where Ruby had nicked it earlier, "how dare you!" Yelled the lady in her white suit, "you just murdered my partner!" She yelled before charging at me with a vicious, blood curdling yell, she was quickly pulled to the ground by Snowy, and I quickly did my best to tie the rope around this "Team Flare" member with my good arm.

I walked up to Davaid, my tail was tucked behind my legs, "Ruby what's wrong?" Said my trainer. He reached out and tried to comfort me, I quietly barked. Snowy supposedly had translated what that meant to Davaid, he smiled, "hey, a burnt arm's gonna suck, but I got my best friends back!" He pulled me in, I smelled the salt from his tears staining my fur.

I laid my head on Davaid's shoulder and wrapped my tails around all three of us. I didn't care if I was stained by the blood of the slain Malamar, Davaid was my trainer now, and he was crying. What child wouldn't be crying after a day like this?

Wow, this was a lot to write, and I'd say it was worth it. Hopefully it was one hell of a read, and I'll see y'all later.
