Raine was a bit disappointed that we weren't going to ruins. Regal and I weren't too happy about going to Alcatraz. It's an abandoned prison on an island in the middle of San Francisco in northern California. I have a cryptids book at home that says that Alcatraz is haunted. I believe that. We landed the Albiore II in near the entrance. I suggested that Ion should stay with Noelle in the Albiore II just to be on the safe side. I want him out of harm's way. My party and I walked towards the giant jailhouse. Soon we encountered a skinny, creepy-looking man seated in a floating chair. "Greetings from planet Auldrant. I'm Dist the Rose," said the creepy man. I was so freaked out by what he said that I bared my teeth at him. "Oh, my. I didn't know that earthlings can be so feisty," Dist smiled, pretending to be scared. "You're an alien," I cried. "Guess again, earth girl. I'm human so YOU might be the alien because we're both from different planets," Dist cried to me. I hissed at him. "Dist, we meet again. You shouldn't greet this young woman like that," Jade said, referring to me as the young woman. "But I, Dist the Rose, shall turn Alcatraz into a Hysko camp of mine," Dist cried. "Hysko camp?" Ryo asked me. "I've heard of them, but what are they?" I asked. Dist got angry. "Hyskos are the avengers of the Desians and the Nazis!" Dist yelled. Lloyd's side of the party and I were surprised to hear about that. Luke's side of the party and Ryo were confused. Then Dist's chair went flying. "You guys meet me in the exercise yard. I have a golden chest and it's mine. ALL MINE!" Dist cried, flying away. My party and I went into the giant jail house. The door to the exercise yard was locked up good. It had 4 padlocks on it. "Looks like we need to find all 4 keys to get to the exercise yard," I said. "Let's go look for them, this place is giving me the creeps," Anise said, shuddering. I remembered Dist saying "planet Auldrant" and calling me "earth girl". I looked at Mieu. "I thought you said that Auldrant was a world," I said to him. "But master and his friends wanted us to say world instead of planet so you won't freak out," Mieu said. I looked at Jade. "That IS true," Jade said. "And you look fully human to us," Genis said to me. I was shocked. I was also about to scream, but Regal covered my mouth with one hand and rubbed my back with the other hand. "Calm down. Us Auldrantians come in peace," Jade said. "Yes. So did us Aselians," Regal said. "Not to mention the Zalulans," Ryo said. Regal uncovered my mouth and I was confused. "Now I know that Auldrant is a planet, but what are Aselia and Zalula?" I asked. "Aselia is a planet," Raine said. "Zalula is also a planet," Ryo said. Regal stopped rubbing my back because I was calm. "Right now we're on the planet of Earth," I said. "Correct," Ryo said. He even told me that he was a religious follower of King Tutankhamen. I was surprised to hear that. I told him that I was the same religion, too. I may be the only Earthling in my party for now but Ryo and I share a religion that originally came from Earth. My party and I moved on. Mieu was scared because we heard a ghostly moan of misery. That scared us, especially Mieu. He jumped into Luke's arms. "Master, I'm scared," Mieu said to Luke. "Luke, is that your pet cheagle?" I asked, eyeing Mieu. "He IS like a pet to me, but he's been exiled by the Cheagle Elder for causing a forest fire where ligers live," Luke said. We found a key in A-Block, B-Block, and the Dining area. The last part we had to look in was D-Block. D-Block was for the worst prisoners of Alcatraz. We went onto the second floor. I looked around in one of the cells and found a huge cockroach! I was scared half to death. I call them palmetto bugs because it's another name for it and I have a phobia of them. "OH MY GODS!" I shouted with fear. I fell backwards off of the fence area onto the first floor. Before I could hit the floor, I suddenly found myself floating on my back. I felt some cold, invisible, air-like matter catch me and touch my arms. I was caught by ghost ectoplasm. "What the heck?" Genis said, surprised. "Kaede's been saved by ectoplasm," Ryo said. "What is ectoplasm?" Emil asked. "It's a substance that makes up the spiritual matter," Ryo said. Then the ectoplasm rose up and brought me back onto the second floor, where my party was. I was standing, shuddering, and about to cry by the time I jumped off of the ectoplasm and ran into Regal's arms, sobbing. He began to rub my back again. "Kaede, I killed the roach. There's no need to cry now," Regal said. I wiped my tears of fright. When we found the last key, my entire party was locked in one cell! It was Dist who had locked us in. He was laughing. "What the Duat are you doing, freaky old man," I shouted to Dist. "You guys stay in here while I look at whatever's in my chest," he smiled. He flew away. I got anxious. Lloyd couldn't find a lock to pick. "Move," Regal said. He kicked the door off the cell. "Whoa! Regal, you're SO strong," Anise said. I blushed with agreement and my party and I ran out of the cell and unlocked the entrance to the recreation yard. "AHA! We've got to you, creep," I yelled to Dist. "You puny earthling! How did you manage to escape?" Dist growled. "I kicked the door off," Regal said. "And I think there are Linen clothes in that chest," I said, being honest. "So?" Dist said. "Check, stupid," I yelled to Dist. He opened the chest and he was surprised. In there were nothing but linen clothes. I was right. "Just you wait. You may win this time, but next time I'll get you for sure," Dist growled and flew away. We brought the chest to the Albiore II. Before we could lift, I started to cry again. Very soon, Regal noticed it. "Kaede, what's wrong?" Regal asked me, putting a hand on my shoulder. "I'm thinking about my jail experiences," I said. "I'm thinking about my jail term, too," Regal said, scooping me up into his muscular arms and holding me. "We've already heard each other's stories," Regal said as his eyes began to water. "I had the school police turn me in," I said. "I turned myself in. I couldn't forgive myself," Regal said. "Me neither," I said. "Please don't be too sad, Kaede. There's a pool party coming up at your neighborhood tomorrow. That might cheer you and Regal up," King Tutankhamen's voice said. I stopped crying and thanked the great pharaoh. Noelle took my party back to where I first met her and we went to my apartment complex.
