I showed the Mega Stone up to the camera for Sycamore, "looks like Houndoomite to me," he said, I started smiling, "say… how about I get that into a Mega Ring for your Pokemon, and I'll send it back to you with a Key Stone?" Now there was probably a catch to all of this. I lifted an eyebrow, "there's gotta be a reason for why you're giving me a key stone," I said, "I heard you were getting chased around by Team Flare, I think if you had some extra firepower, they'll be less of a hassle."
I shrugged, "alright, it's better to have it," I felt like I was walking into a death trap. Judging from Ashs story about that Lucario, first time Mega Evolutions are pretty dangerous. I placed the Mega Stone into the item transport system, and evaporated. The professor reached down, and it was in his grasp, "it should be ready in an hour," he said, "well, see ya!' I waved before hanging up.
I ran around the Pokemon Center while Davaid and Ruby were inside, I was chasing Volpsei, and he was quite fast considering his size. I eventually tripped over, "mom! Are you okay?" He asked, walking up to me, and rubbing his head against mine. I got up and flashed a quick smile, "don't worry about me," I said. He licked the little scrape on my shoulder and nested into my side.
I curled up on top of Mom, she had just tripped over, and was slightly injured on her shoulder. She felt safe and comforting, I closed my eyes, and sighed. I felt her tongue going across the tuft of fur on the top of my head, which only made me sleepy. I fell asleep.
Davaid and I had stepped out of the Pokemon center, Volpsei was cuddled up, and sleeping on Snowy's side. I adorned a collar with the Mega Stone the Professor had sent back and Davaid had a ring around his finger. He quickly forgot about it when he saw the others sleeping peacefully in the Center's playground, "hey Snowy…" he whispered, petting the top of her head.
These two were far too cute, I rubbed Snowy's head, which was shielding Volpsei from the world, "hey Davaid," she drowsily communicated, I patted her, and gently patted the little Vulpix. Ruby walked up, laid on my lap, and we stayed like that for hours. The four of us relaxed in the same position for what was really only a couple of minutes.
Just as soon as he was tired, Volpsei was already back to being the hyper ball of fluff he always was. Quickly, he ran up, and jumped on Davaid, "oof!" He grunted at the sudden presence of Vulpix jumping on his stomach, "you need to go to the gym to work off all that energy," he said jokingly, picking him up. Snowy got up and grinned, "Volpsei, be nice to your uncle," she teased.
I nudged Davaid to remind him about the Mega Stone, "oh shoot! I forgot!" He put Volpsei down, who was already off, and half way up a slide. Davaid looked at the Mega Ring, "how do I…" he tapped it, and I felt a sudden surge of energy flow through my veins… I was a Mega Houndoom!
"How do you feel girl?" I asked, doing my best to pet the top of her head, she was huge! Ruby started licking my cheek, she didn't go on a rampage at least, "still the cuddly puff ball as usual," I said as she knocked me over, specifically to lay in my lap, and Ruby quickly reverted back to her usual form. Her tail was wagging like a helicopter.
Mega Evolution felt amazing! For once I was taller than Davaid, I licked his face, barked, and knocked him to the ground. He wrapped his arms around me after I reverted back to normal, "what did it feel like?" Asked Davaid, I just barked, and kept wagging my tail. He hugged me tighter, up until Volpsei jumped on his shoulder, and stole his hat.

I just got ahold of a Mega Ring and Mega Stone... it doesn't feel right, I might send them back so another trainer can get some use out of them. Ruby looked amazing while Mega Evolved! Snowy and Volpsei are getting even closer than before, who knows? They might start completely ignoring me, I guess for now, if Team Flare attacks again, or Team Rocket, we have a better chance at fending them off. Volpsei also took my hat today, and I still don't have it back yet!
