Sorry for not updating yesterday, I wanted to take a quick little break from posting a chapter everyday(for 3 weeks)

I woke up with Ruby's head on my neck, it almost feels like I've been closer to her ever since she Mega Evolved yesterday, and it felt amazing. I started petting my friend while I waited for her to get up, Snowy was sleeping on top of my stomach, and with Volpsei on top of her. A knock at the door made us get up in a flash.

I followed Davaid to the door, on the other side was none other than Ash and his friends, "good mornin'," yawned Davaid, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, "good morning Davaid," said Ash, "I'm going to get straight to the point, you want to travel with us for a bit?" He asked, extending his arm. My trainer wasn't paying attention when he answered, "sure, lemme get changed first."

Davaid grabbed his usual attire, went to the bathroom to change, and was out in a flash. He quickly realized what he just agreed to, "well damn," he turned to us, "welp, let's get out on the road," I quickly got to Davaid's side, Snowy carried Volpsei over to the door, and we all stepped out.

I handed Volpsei over to Davaid after we stepped out, "hello!" Greeted Ash's Pikachu, "greetings," I kept on walking. I looked over to Ruby, who was sticking like glue to Davaid, who had been playing with Volpsei. I turned back to the road, "so.. who trained you before Davaid became your trainer?" Asked the little mouse, "why do you ask? "You seem you've got a lot more experience than you're letting on," he said.

"My previous trainer was Davaid's mother, she used to be one of the toughest trainers in Alola before we moved here," I answered, stopping when Davaid patted me on the head, "I bet some of that skill went over to 'Davaid, he seemed pretty smart in during that battle of ours."

I had been set on the ground, free to roam, I ran up to Mom, and tapped her, "you're it!" I said before running ahead. Ruby quickly joined in, getting tagged immediately, and she was on my trail. She caught up to me, tapping me lightly, "you're it!" Bonnie even joined in.

Ash and I were talking about the Gym Challenge, he was talking about something about being the very best, "you don't need Gym Badges to prove you're the best y'know," I interrupted him making him tlt his head, "what do you mean? You can't enter a Pokemon League without eight of them!" Said Ash, tilting his head, "and lemme guess, that's how you prove you're the best?" I asked, he nodded.

"you don't need to win a battle to prove you're the best, I was told that a Pokemon Master forms an unbreakable bond with their Pokemon," that made Ash nodded, "I guess you're right," he said, before pinching his chinn, I got him thinking about it. While I didn't battle myself, Mom had always tried touching me about what it meant to be a good Pokemon Trainer. I was quickly driven out of my thoughts when RUby accidentally knocked me over while playing with Volpsei.

I tried telling him I was sorry, but he didn't say anything, and he grinned, "now you've done it!" I was quickly pulled in, and started getting the tickle wrath of a lifetime. I repeatedly tried getting out of his grasp, only to get pulled back in, and then I got tickled harder. Davaid decided to give me some mercy, hugging, and petting me until I caught my breath. I laid my head against his chest, I was still tired from his onslaught, "looks like now is a good time for lunch!" Said Ash, catching our attention. Davaid picked me up, and carried me over to the dining area.

One thing I had noticed was Clement had some managed to fit a foldable table in his backpack… I stopped questioning the unlogical force that was his backpack when he whipped out a mini stove out of it.
