I tried setting up my campfire, I was out of matches, "if you want we can make you and your Pokemon lunch," said Clement. I shook my head, I looked over at Ruby, who was lying down and staring at me, "hey girl, can you light this piece of wood for me?" I asked, she barked, and lit the wood on fire with what looked like a low powered Ember. I patted her head after putting it on the campfire, "thanks Ruby," pulled out a pan and a couple cans of Pokemon food, eight slces of bread, and a packet of cheese.

I served my Pokemon the usual Pokemon food, with grilled cheese sandwich,. I took the extra grilled cheese, then sat down with my friends. Ash's Pikachu seemed to be trying to start a conversation with Snowy again, she just kept nodding at the constant "pika pika pikachu!" Before I knew it, I had already finished my sandwich, and patted Volpsei, who was taking his time on the food in front of him, "so how do you three like the grilled cheese?" I asked, I took Volpsei's sandwich and began hand feeding if to him.

"I liked it," I answered, still ignoring the Pikachu, he was friendly, but a bit intrusive for my liking. Ruby and Volpsei barked at Davaid, I translated it for them to Davvaid, he grinned, "good to know, I'll try and make them on special occasions then," he said. Volpsei finished eating, then ran around like he just ate nothing but sugar.

After we all finished, Davaid cleaned our dishes and the pan in a nearby river. We waited for Ash and his friends to finish packing up their things, "hello!" I looked down, Serena's Fennekin was sitting down, in front of me, and his tail was wagging. She looked like she couldn't be older than ten years old, "hey," I said, "my name is Fennekin, what's yours? "It's Ruby," a small, brown blurr swooped by and tagged Fennekin, "you're it!" Then ran off. Every Pokemon in the campsite except the Froakie, who was sitting on a log, was playing tag with Volpsei

I set the dishes in my backpack when I heard something up shore, "hey guys, I'm gonna go lumberjack style," I said, Ash gave me the thumbs up, before turning back to watch the Pokemon playing tag. I started walking upstream, the noise was starting to get louder and louder with each step, and then I saw it. A Milotic was laying on shore, enjoying the nice weather, and suddenly jumped up when I stepped towards it.

I was honestly speechless, people said Milotic were quite beautiful, and they were right. Its fins looked a bit too long for it to be a male, it was staring dead at me. I stood still, and reached into my back pocket. Milotic started hissing at me, I took out a chocolate bar, and unwrapped it, "want a bite?" I extended it out, and raised my other hand in the air to show I wasn't going to try anything. It slithered forward, keeping its eyes locked on me.

I stared at this human as it held out what looked like food out. I easily towered over him, but he didn't look scared of me approaching. He extended his hand with the food out, "want a bite?" He was being too nice to be trustable, but I approached anyways, I could easily take him out if he attempted anything. I stopped when I was at his arm's length, I lowered my head, and took a bite out of the food. It tasted better than anything I have eaten before!

I let it chow down on the chocolate bar, Milotic licked my hand, probably trying to find more of it. I put my hands in my pocket, "well, nice meeting ya," I said, I debated on petting her, but figured a wild Pokemon wouldn't like me touching it. I turned around and started heading back to the camp.

The human didn't try catching me immediately like many have tried before. He didn't even attempt to catch me to begin with, he just gave me a treat, and probably went about his day. I started trailing behind him, this human piqued my interest, and then I stopped when I caught sight of the camp he was supposedly staying at. I locked eyes on the human.

I sat down next to Ruby, who was resting under the shade, "hey buddy," I greeted, petting her head. She crawled up on my lap, then sighed with content, and closed her eyes. I patted the top of her back, suddenly felt a tail wrap around me. I turned around, and the Milotic was staring into my eyes. Ruby jumped up when the scaly tail made contact with her, she started growling, "whoa girl, we don't want to start a fight."

I stared at this trainer, I didn't need to think twice, I nudged him with my head. He tilted his head, "hey Davaid!" I looked up and saw another human walking up, "I think she likes you!" This Davaid looked up at me, "you want me to be your trainer?" He asked, holding a skeptical expression. I nodded, "well… alright," he said, reaching for his belt, and pulled out a Pokeball. I tapped with my tail fin, and was sucked inside.

I let Milotic out of the Pokeball, then reattached it to my belt, "wel guys, we got a new member to the family," I said, retaining my stoic expression. Names started rushing through my mind, what the hell was I supposed to name a Milotic? Ii didn't think I'd even meet one, let alone name it! I scratched my head, "how does Oasis sound?" I asked her.

I thought about the name, it was short and simple. I nodded, he started to pet my head, "welcome to the family," he said. His Houndoom barked, and started howling, which sent a shiver down my spine. A Ninetales and a Vulpix walked up, "greetings, nice to meet you!" She said, "it's good to meet you as well," I bowed.

I have a Milotic now! I named her Oasis, and She's one of the most beautiful Pokemon I've seen in my life! I also found out that I have a knack for cooking. Maybe one day I could make a restaurant, or even a simple food stand! Ruby is currently snuggled up to me while I write this, in fact, all of my Pokemon are cuddled up with me!

"Now Volpsei, I am going to teach you how to use telekinesis, and maybe even telepathy."

Thanks again for reading, I might try and make everyday updates to once every other day, this story is going by really quickly. It may not be an issue(as this story is going of for as long I want it to), but I want to take down a notch.
